DBD devs: Take their time on helping For Honor with their Halloween event, as well as adding Trapper to the game
For Honor devs: Charm.
-
He's actually threatening to go against and is pretty fun to go against too. His counterplay is quite fun.
-
I'm not neutral, in fact I'm quite disappointed and pissed at them, but as it says in the answer I'll wait and see how it goes.
I'm still going to play DBD though, as much as I already have.

It should remove 2-3 traps at least, having a match with the pig having 9 max traps even if 4 are used right at the start seems like a bit much
Rethinking it, I sort of agree. Maybe 1 trap base-line with that add-on, sort of like Amanda's Letter.
-
I love the concept of Clairvoyance, but it's a horrible perk and needs to change what auras should be shown.
If it shows the aura of the killer I'd actually like that. It'd be one time use until you cleanse another totem, but it'd be able to counter mindgames for a bit during chases.

Don’t we pollute the environment just by driving cars as well? No outrage over that though, huh?
*Disclaimer: not a scientist, obviously*
Cars are utilities we use to get around our city, town, etc. NFTs are useless garbage that are making this situation unnecessarily worse.

8 or 9 traps is not okay. That's extremely not fun.
Maybe 1-2 extra traps but we'll see how it goes.
-
Tampered Timer needed a nerf, without a doubt, but I still think the Iri Video Tape shouldn't deplete your traps.
-
Sure, let's just stop with new licensed content, I wouldn't even mind at this point. I don't want DBD anywhere near NFTs.

What's the problem with NFTs. I want licensed killers
This isn't about licensed killers anymore, this is about our planet and the stupidity of a slight part of the human race. inb4 I get banned for calling climate change causers morons.
-
Damn, how did I not see this sooner?
I'm glad you'll still be on the forums, but man it's still sad to see my favorite members quit DBD, which is fair but damn.
Thanks for everything man, and I'm happy you'll still be on here!
-
Sniff sniff... oh I need a tissue... that was so, so beautiful... Thank you Lorax, I hope these darn NFTs don't ruin the pleasant trees.
-
The best part about Springtrap is that when Scott heard and was interested with NFTs, he announced that on the FNAF subreddit and thousands of his fans convinced him to not do NFTs, and he listened to them.
I'm glad someone finally brought up Springtrap during this whole thing though, even if it's a joke.

Thanks for the kind words, genuinely. I think "cool fella" is one of the nicer compliments I've received recently.
Same goes to you. No matter how long you stick to the game, or wherever else you decide to put your time into.
Makes me really happy to hear that, like really happy! And thank you!
-
I liked having you on these forums, you were a cool fella, however the reason of you leaving DBD now as well as the forums later is completely justified.
Good luck out there pal, I hope you could find some peace out there.
-
I wish I could agree with this, I really wish I could. But no, they are actively promoting the Hellraiser NFT right now, and we have every right to be pissed about it.
-
Thanks for being with us. Let's hope everything goes well in this situation. If not, good luck out there, bud.
-
Oh, I'm afraid I believe it's dying, but not for the reasons you think.
-
Are you actually ######### serious right now
I want to cope so badly.
-
Scourge hooks are regular hooks only affected by perks. Hex totems are regular totems only affected by perks (depending on the perk). I think it makes sense.
-
Wish I could redeem it now but I'm not home. I hope it'll still be up by then.
-
Keep in mind the only killers that got add-on passes were Trapper, Spirit, and Pig. Everyone else who got updated were only given a few add-on changes.
I do agree that some could've been better though.
-
It's true, it's the most accurate for sure. It's even in alphabetical order!
-
Good ######### riddance.
-
Trail of Torment w/ the infinite tier 3 add-on (Fragrant Tuft of Hair) is quite fun. I recommend using J. Myers Memorial with said add-on. Once you reach tier 3, you basically have permanent NOED, and with Trail of Torment you can sneak up on survivors and instadown them without them expecting you. I recommend using Corrupt Intervention with this build, which will allow you to reach tier 3 without losing as many generators, and chase-dedicated perks such as Bamboozle (which is helpful for his supervault in tier 3), Enduring + Spirit Fury, or Brutal Strength.

Survivors looping is toxic and warrants being slugged to death. Makes perfect sense. Killers like you are honestly terrible.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2566648#Comment_2566648
Killers like this don't like either. They would perfer if survivors spawned on the hook since anything else is toxic.
Nahhh that's too generous, they clearly want them to not be able to move at all and give them free kills. Actually, killers like them would want the game to end instantly as a 4k with survivors getting nothing.

I would rather they hold w, actually. I do not want to run around the same broken obstacle until they use a window 3 times.
At least there's something going on if they loop you though. Holding W is just a complete utter snorefest because instead of trying to outplay you, they just predrop pallets and run 128 meters away from you.
But I will say the map design on some maps can make looping unfun to go against at times.
-
So would you rather have survivors loop you or hold W? Make up your mind.
-
Really happy to see @GeneralV on here, everyone's favorite old Freddy main and one of my favorite forum members on here!
-
Maybe, maybe not, not so sure yet though. We'll see how it goes on release.
-
Considering he was already B tier with his oppressive chase along with horrible snowball and mobility, he's going down to C tier, probably on the same tier as Clown in terms of chase post-nerf.
Can't believe I'm saying this, never thought I would, but if they don't change Deathslinger's changes in the full 5.3.0 release then Trickster's going to be more viable than him as a ranged killer (at least on PC). Takes less skill and will be more rewarding than him.
-
As long as the future events are fun to play. The Blight arc was really cool though, and for sure impacted DBD's already interesting lore.

Eyyyyy, I was wondering when this series would come back.
Personally, @GeneralV, @TheGannMan, and @glitchboi have my votes.
Oh lawd, I can't thank you enough! I'm glad you mentioned me over here!
Unfortunately however, I don't think I'm up for an interview at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE this series and I'm very happy that @WishIcouldmain is bringing it back, but I don't, well, how do I put this... I don't feel ready for it yet, I guess.
I'm sure whoever would like to take the last spot will do better than I would though!
-
Every killer should be balanced around Billy base-kit wise (excluding Overheat), and Blight add-on wise (excluding Alchemist's Ring).

Can I ask why you run the perk a lot then (Honest question - not trying to be rude)? The FOV on killers like Nurse make a significant difference.
As I said, it simply makes my experience more enjoyable. I prefer higher FOV in games, so an FOV slider without taking up a perk slot would be nice to have.
-
@SleepyWillo said:

It would help a lot with finding surviors. Depending on the extent of the sliders capabilities it could also be very powerful at loops.
"accessibility feature"? How could it possibly be considered an accessibility feature? What disability does the FOV hinder?
But I would be fine with testing on PTB. I think PTBs should be used more for these types of tests. That said - its hard to believe the data from these tests with how people deliberately skew the results on both sides (survivors suiciding and killers going afk to encourage deliberate nerfs)...
As someone who runs Shadowborn a lot, the difference between finding survivors with and without it is incredibly minor. It's not as much of a balance issue as people say it is, it's simply a perk that enhances the gameplay if you prefer higher FOV, in which I do.
But yeah I'm sure we could test it out in a PTB.
-
I actually like this change. It'd still be a very, very situational perk because it relies on you being the last survivor alive, while increasing your chances of being able to escape as the last survivor, but it's very rewarding if you manage to get it working.
-
@SleepyWillo said:
You might want it so you can "SEE my surroundings, especially when the clunky camera controls on console are in play" but that doesnt change the fact that it would still be a HUGE buff to every killer. Youre intentions may not be for that but thats what it would result in.
Thats the equivilant of saying they should reduce the time it takes to repair a gen because holding m1 is boring. Is holding m1 boring? Yes. Would that change completely break the game? Also yes...
It wouldn't be a huge buff at all. It helps with finding survivors a bit, but that's all it does. It's an accessibility feature locked behind a perk slot. I'm sure we could test out an FOV slider in a PTB.
Also stealth is boring anyways so who cares

Some of you love to sit on a forum and add fuel to a fire that has no bearing on you or your life. But gr8 b8. Intelligent thoughts.
Huh, tough talk from someone who felt the need to tell everyone that you're going to begin camping and tunneling because of survivors spamming LCTRL.
Like bro it's a video game it's not that deep. Is it unbalanced, sure, but my man really wants to ruin the fun of other survivors who likely don't teabag.
-
I love playing as and against Bubba. He has pretty interactive counterplay. Perk-wise BBQ automatically puts him at the top for that, and Franklin's is a decent perk with Knock Out being okay. His chases are fun, getting those chainsaw hits in loops, and his add-on variety is insane.

killing a survivor who is on 2nd hook state = tunelling?
I'm afraid you misunderstood what I meant. Let's picture it this way: two survivors are doing a generator. The killer comes by and both survivors run away, one of which having been hooked 0/1 times and the while the other had been hooked twice. The killer goes for the one hooked twice, intentionally or unintentionally, in order to secure the kill. I do this unintentionally at times because I tend to forget when a particular survivor is hooked twice.
-
If we're talking prior to patch 5.3.0, this is my answer.
If we're talking 5.3.0, I'd say N/A at the moment since I haven't versed her in 5.3.0 yet.
-
I absolutely LOVE his new add-ons so he's gonna be a blast to play as, especially with the fact that he no longer relies on add-ons.
-
I'm not sure if Spirit will still be the 2nd best killer to be honest. If we're going by that though, then maybe Huntress or Oni.
-
I'm pretty damn excited. None of Trickster's cosmetics have been a disappointment so I'm looking forward to their tome, not to mention I main Yun-Jin so that's a plus. And their lore is some of my favorites in the game.
Also the cutscenes boutta be a bop
-
Balancing DBD around comp play is a horrible idea and I hope for that to never happen.
-
I would give killers the survivor hook counter. I'd love to see if survivors are on their second hook state so that I know to not tunnel them.
-
4.5 months later... still waiting on those funkos...
I expect to see them in early 2022 at most, but man I can't wait. I need Clown and Billy funkopops on my shelf. Right. Now.

The same guy that calls you "little pp" if you use ruin.
He called pre-nerf DS Unbreakable small pp and Ruin Undying Tinkerer small pp. He never said you have a small peen if you just use Ruin, and even then he never said small pp build = small pp, it was just a name for the builds for being absolute crutches.
I don't think you've watched his content.
-
I wouldn't mind old Ruin coming back, and to be honest I hate Ruin in its current state. It makes games extremely boring in my opinion.
However, the issue with that lies upon totem spawns and map design. Imagine how problematic old Ruin would be, especially with Undying, bringing a higher chance of BS totem spawns. At the same time, it had counterplay: hitting the great skill checks.
As long as they rebalance maps and fix totem spawns to make them more reliable while not being stupid unfair, I won't mind old Ruin coming back.
