His counterplay is to hold W, put ######### in your way, and mainly use high wall loops. Interactive gameplay.
I agree though, his power is horribly designed. I do admit I enjoy playing him however.
-
Even if they're still in the game, the fact that they won't truly be characters included in the game anymore saddens me, as well as Hawkins going away. Also the DLC being deleted from the store means less Demos, Nancies, and Steves.
-
I've gotten robbed of so many of my ambush hits, just remove the i-frames on that perk.

Making those basekit would mean buffing pig. Which if we all know BHVR, would be a cardinal sin for them.
True, they nerfed Pig exactly... 71 times. Maybe Pig is cursed in which if her base-kit is buffed then DBD will break (as if it's not already broken), so there's only a few ways to change her, including nerfing her kit.
-
I've never gotten it to work out when I used Mother's Glasses and Wakizashi Saya for a few games, but I'd imagine that it's really good if you manage to make it work.

Not going to lie really like how you describe this build! You main him? I assume you main demo bc of the pfp.
Im definitely going to try out this trickster build, sounds aggressive and like alot of fun.
You got any other killer bills you can recommend like for Nemesis for example? I'd love to try out some more!
Oh, thanks! I don't main him but I play him a lot, and I don't main Demo either, just using Demo as my pfp because of the DLC getting destroyed this month.
And for Nemesis, I personally use BBQ (Usually a staple to my builds) for bloodpoints and info, No Way Out to make the late game last longer due to his horrible early game, Save the Best for Last to compliment his ability to prevent the loss of stacks with a tentacle hit on the obsession (and it's just good on him in general for faster downs), and Monitor & Abuse to prevent survivors from reacting too quickly from holding W and catch them off guard more easily.
You don't actually need STBFL for my build (I personally use it) if you're really good at landing tentacle hits since he practically has the perk built-in, so if that's the case you can swap it out with anything you'd like! If you don't care about bloodpoints, run Discordance instead of BBQ, it notifies zombies and allows you to climb up to tier 2 & 3 faster and infect more survivors at once by whipping both survivors.
-
The new tome maybe? Not sure.
-
The fact that literally 4/6 of the maps are indoor maps made me think that this was a "best indoor map poll" so I got confused with not seeing Lery's lol.
Anyways I never get disappointed when it's Midwich unless I get it more than I wanted to.
-
Heck nah. Baldi isn't taken seriously and wasn't meant to be a horror icon (I wouldn't consider it a horror icon nor an indie horror icon either), in fact it completely makes fun of stereotypical poorly-made horror games. If we're getting an indie horror icon, it should be Springtrap. FNAF is 100 times more well-known and its lore is taken seriously, and Springtrap's design in general would fit in the game.
-
They're the ones getting killed, so duh.
-
Probably The Shining. Other than that idk
-
To take a piss.
-
Maybe a buff to his base-kit as well as an add-on pass. His add-ons suck and only five of them are remotely useful.

Overall billy has the highest skill ceiling but I’m going to be biased and say clown. His skill ceiling is deceptively high especially with the antidote
This is actually a really interesting take because Clown's skill cap is WAY higher than people give credit for, in fact I'd argue his skill cap is one of the highest in the game. He ain't a strategic killer for nothing. You gotta predict the survivor's movements and place your bottles as well as aim them correctly.
While his skill floor is quite low, maybe one of the lowest, his skill cap is pretty damn high if you use the antidote. Spreading your gas and throwing the gas above walls requires knowing the arc of the throw.
-
I'm actually gonna say Blight, Huntress, Pyramid Head, Billy, and Nurse have the highest skill caps in that particular order. Blight has so much to learn and master, and while his skill floor is quite low, his skill cap is incredibly high. Flicks, hugging, all that jazz.
Huntress is simple: long range hatchets that take skill to land. Cross-map shots take very, VERY precise aim to land.
Pyramid Head requires very precise timing and aim, as well as prediction if you want to be able to hit through more walls, which is a large factor in his skill cap. While his skill floor is intermediate (only using his power at windows and pallets to cheese POTD hits and M1s), his skill cap is higher than people give credit for.
Billy is like Blight. I would put him higher than Huntress if his skill cap wasn't limited by overheat. He has flicks, incredible mindgame potential, etc. But overheat is what limits all of that, making his power more risky to use.
And finally, Nurse. I don't think I need to explain this one.

... The sound is diffrent?
I always knew the difference between a Deception locker bait and actually going into a locker while running, the sounds just seem different to me.

It'd be nice if when your head on was ready the aura of the locker you're in would be shown to teammates within say 32 meters, so they know you're set up for a head-on play.
I wouldn't mind that change honestly, would make it more consistent for solo queue.
-
Head On is a high risk high reward perk. It's fine as it is, it takes skill to use.
The only change it needs is the ability to see auras of lockers while not exhausted.
-
It's a fine strategy. The EGC is meant to prevent holding the game hostage, and killers still have the ability to open gates if they wanted to, so I think it's fine.

Order from best to worst:
- Nemesis - Full camera control when destroying pallets, the duration is quite short, and can hit the survivor instead if you're lucky. Also his tentacle charges up very, very quickly. He's got almost everything the other guys have with zero downsides in terms of using his pallet shredding ability, other than having zero mobility which is barely an issue.
- Blight - His ability to break pallets is very, very fast, and you usually gain your power pack quickly if you only use 2 charges. You can break pallets from long distances, and very quickly.
- Demo - Shred charges up very quickly and you can speed up with shred and break pallets from long distances. They can also zone the survivor to close in the distance.
- Billy - Billy's is similar to Demo's where you can speed up to break pallets, more similar to Blight however. His chainsaw takes longer to charge up however. With his chainsaw, you can speed up to catch up to the survivor which is why I put him above Bubba.
- Bubba - Similar to Billy in terms of shredding pallets, except you can't speed up to destroy them as well as he can, and you can't catch up to the survivor after breaking the pallet. Shredding pallets also takes up a charge, making him a bit worse than Billy's pallet shredder. This is actually quite debatable, because if you have chili add-ons or engravings then you might be able to catch up to the survivor even with 2 charges. If this is the case, he'd go over Billy.
- Oni - Breaking pallets with his large schlong takes a million years, so he's easily the worst in terms of shredding pallets. His redeeming quality is being able to catch up to the survivor like Billy, but his power is limited.
-
I knew it...
I knew that was you.
-
Robin would've been pretty cool too but Hopper was always my favorite, would've loved to see him in the game.
-
All the perk needs is a change to its sound, make the sound the same as the fast locker animation because the sound differences are way too obvious.
-
Smartface isn't racist, you're racist for wanting the Claudette, a black survivor, excluded from Bubba's face collection. What problem do you have with Bubba having black people and other races as his victims equally?
-
Yes. I love DBD and I want it to be in a good state, but the devs don't seem to be competent when it comes to that.

Why are you going out of your way to get the vaccine when you can just pick it up at the start of the trial or right beside the gen you just finish.
Not like survivors bring items or anything to discourage them from picking up the vaccine yet. Picking it up at the start of the trial is still using your time.
-
I ask myself this every day.

If they use the vaccine the survivor waste 2 sec its nothing and he is safe again and by the time all the vaccine are use most of the time 1 or 2 gen are left. Ofc we always have the ideal scenario were the survivor dont hold w when you are coming and zombie are always arassing a gen in those case nemesis is strong but otherwise he his a downgrade version of pyramid head and a succesful cash grab becaus eits resident evil
2 seconds? You forgot about adding the time it takes to run to the vaccine chest, opening it, and picking it up.

Its because he need 3 hit to down someone and that is if you commit to the chase. Nemesis is just an inferior pyramid head in every aspect
I don't understand the 3 hit argument. You can just do hit & run Nemesis by contaminating them and then leaving them. If they use the vaccine then they wasted their time and that's progress to becoming more oppressive because there are only 4 vaccines on the map that are one-time use. If not, then that just makes it easier for you
-
I'll probably just pass out the candy, feels too lonely to trick or treat without anyone else.
-
Body is 1 character too short.
-
S tier, definitely not. A tier, honestly yeah.
I actually ranked her as the no. 6 best killer in the game on my tier list. Her power counters stealth, med-kits, boon totems... Her snowball potential is INSANE if you manage to get it right. She practically has built-in mid-range STBFL during Corrupt Purge, and can end chases really quickly.
Also, without Corrupt Purge, she's still pretty strong. If a survivor is out in the open, you might be able to instadown them. With her cooldown movement speed buff, she does this a lot better.

Not gonna lie - Your reply was kind of the inspiration for this topic.
Bless your Demo heart :3
Oh damn really? I'm really glad to hear that, haha!
My pfp remains to be Demo (until the chapter gets removed) because even after its chapter removal, I will continue to cherish it.
-
A perk that practically gives you an extra health state and the ability to extend a loop is not fine. As I said in the NOED question, I would gladly rework both perks.

Alright, im outside. Now what do i do?
Huh, Autumn looks lovely, doesn't it?
-
Alone or with an endgame build? Sure. Stacked with slowdown perks? No, not at all.
It makes solo queue even more painful to play. Honestly I would gladly throw away NOED and Dead Hard.
Okay not exactly thrown away, just reworked.
-
I'm not sure if he's bottom 5 at the moment. My latest tier list has him ranked no. 23/25 but that may be bound to change in the future.
The thing is, he just feels... incredibly clunky to play as. He's extremely punishing if you miss, and his chase potential has downgraded a lot. He relies on cooldown add-ons and reload speed add-ons in order to perform decently. There are some times where the survivor can break free if you shoot them in a loop.
His only redeeming qualities from the nerf is his movement speed while using ADS (which should have been buffed to 90% instead of 85% so that they can remove the movement speed add-ons for something else), and his reduced cooldown from being stunned (his stun cooldown add-ons are actually quite fun now).
-
The thing is, The Game has potential to become a fun map, just remove some breakable walls and pallets and it'll be more enjoyable.
-
As you said, don't nerf her base-kit, tbh I'm not sure if the kicking dust thing should even be added to her anymore (we'll see though).
Dried Cherry Blossom is fine, but the issue lies upon Mother-Daughter Ring which should have been reworked to begin with.
-
The thing is, NOED alone isn't a broken perk, it's just unfair. But if you stack it with slowdown perks such as Corrupt, Ruin, and PGTW, it's sure as hell broken.
If I had to change it I'd probably make it so that the survivors are cursed by NOED at the start of the trial, and in order to deactivate it they must destroy every single dull totem on the map. After the 5th gen gets done, each time the killer downs a survivor destroys a dull totem. If at least one dull totem stays on the map, the killer has the opportunity to kill the survivor (which takes time to do). If the killer downs a survivor with only one dull totem on the map the killer no longer gains the ability to kill the survivors because NOED gets deactivated. Survivors have the ability to destroy the NOED totems to remove NOED after the 5th gen is done.
Oh yeah and the killer will have the ability to see how many totems are on the map at any time since it will have a token indicator.
This change would essentially turn the perk into a slowdown perk and a risk-reward (if they don't do bones and instead manage to escape) perk for the survivors. Now that they know that they should do the bones, it'd actually punish survivors for not doing all bones, and still help them if they cleanse a few. I'm not sure if this change would make NOED overpowered, but as a downside to it, the perk would be hindered by other hex perks since hex totems won't count as NOED tokens. Boon totems will also not count as NOED totems.
-
Twins, easily.
They launched with an abysmal amount of bugs, they require playing like a scumbag for them to be playable, yet they're such an interesting concept executed poorly.
-
I wouldn't directly nerf survivors.
I would rebalance maps to be on the same level as Coal Tower and the old version of Father Campbell's Chapel, in terms of map size and loops.
I would fix spawns, particularly making all survivors spawn together, so that 3 gens won't pop within the first minute and 20 seconds.
And finally, I would make some (not all) hex perks light up their totem once at least one survivor is cursed, or a different activation period. I'd also make totem spawns more consistent on each map, so that they aren't necessarily unfair for killers, while still being fair for survivors.

Here ya go.

It would be unfair.
For the survivor. It needs a buff, if anything.
-
I'm not sure how a spider killer would work to begin with, considering the killer would clip through walls. Imagine the killer getting looped, especially in shack, would look hilarious.
Plus with the hint we got in the Yamaoka Estate, we're probably getting another Yamaoka killer.

75% of the time I play solo if I ever play survivor, but I play SWF with a friend of mine 25% of the time of playing survivor.

BBQ points does not make up for a good build for him. If you're constantly trying to traverse the map as trickster because of a bbq aura. You will get demolished.
Up to you if you want to run BBQ or not. Most people use BBQ as a staple to their killer builds for bloodpoints so I put it there.
If you don't want to run BBQ then that's fine.
-
BBQ for bloodpoints, Iron Maiden to cover up the fact that he practically reloads after every chase, Lethal Pursuer to cover up his horrible early game and get a fast down at the start of the match, and Bamboozle to help him in shack. That's probably my favorite build on him and I almost always get 2ks-4ks with this build. No add-ons needed either.
If you don't want to use Iron Maiden you can use the Melodious Murder add-on for faster reload speed.
