Don't forget they gave him another broken add on to add to the pile with the adrenaline vile buff. Paired with the yellow recharge add on, his charges come back in 0.66 seconds. So much for that "lengthy cooldown" that supposedly balances him. Oh and adren. also gives him better flicks, extra rush tokens, and faster rushes. Who needs alchemists ring when this even more broken combo exists? But hey, I'm sure the spreadsheet says "is balanced" when you include every player that just got the game and has no idea how any of the mechanics work.
Meanwhile Spirit has a weaker chase power with a longer cooldown, less mobility, AND is 4.4m/s....
arenaline vial gives "better flicks"? are you sure what the ######### you are talking about?

A lot of people consider Michael to be the weakest killer in the game, but I just got a 4K at 5 gens.
For people who haven't been paying attention, Otz made a video not too long ago where he played all the best killer meta builds and dominated every game. I don't agree with everything that he says, but he did make a decent argument that killers aren't completely outclassed as long as you're willing to hit below the belt a little.
I think the biggest nerf to killers in general has been due to map reworks more than anything that was done to the state of killer itself. Coldwind and Gideon's can decide a game on their own, and Hawkins (one of the best killer maps) is now gone.
Simple, you don't even need any power at all to get 4k... just match with worst survivors you can imagine.
Using actual match as balance metrics is strangely stupid in this game due to some survivors being unimaginably bad, even though it should be biggest factor for it.

So if you play well, neither BT nor DS does anything to you. If you go for your lovely strategies, thats your fault. Its amazing how oftern those threads pop up and never ever are those TEs thinking about why those perks are used so frequently, or make some false conclusion out of it.
If I play well, I will just ignore them and tunnel out one survivors before there will be 2 or 3 gens anyway.

Yea hopefully we'll see some changes.
This community is so boring. Always playing the same killers, always doing swf, always same perks.
See, this is why dc penalities are bad. We can't dc and go next against sweaty losers
It's not people only playing same killers, the fact is, only few killers can actually win games to match with higher MMR survivors.
At low MMR, there will be a lot more variety to killers.

I will enjoy killing people with rancor and bleeding.

If you Blink a second time for a hit that isn't practically guaranteed you're playing Nurse wrong. If you can't get the hit, don't second Blink.
I main Nurse and I don't use add-ons. Mistakes aren't heavily punished unless you happen to be on RPD/Lery's.
Have you actually played nurse ever, even...

Killers aren't using Blight with his busted addons and "techs" because other killers are too weak, they're playing Blight because he has busted addons and cheesy exploits. I know this forum be quite defensive when it comes to Blight, but buffing any other killer isn't going to change the actual reason Blight is so obnoxiously common.
I'm pretty sure every strong killer players are playing them just because that is the only way, and I'm also 100% sure buffing other killers WILL results in more killers at higher ranks.
And do note those killers are actually only killers who can get to high MMR, other killers falls off early and can't reach higher MMR survivors.
-
It's in good position, you can actually use it for slowdown.

Here's a bit of advice from one person to another. It's easy to tell if someone is worse than you, but it's much more difficult to tell if someone is better than you. If you're really hit the soft cap, you wouldn't feel like you've hit good MMR, everyone would just feel like babies. If you feel like you're playing against good players that can loop, you haven't hit the cap.
You may not believe it, but there is unbelievable amount of people who can't "play the game" and also complain in forum.
-
I'm pretty sure those people would just kill game with task manager when they saw a offering not revealed, people who uses map offering as a survivor is most likely a abusers anyway.

Troll and bait, nice.

It's not 100% of the time, it's the server being the authority and making the decision. Other than DH and pallets, everything is still handled on the killers end. This provides an incredible advantage over survivors. So as things begin to shift to server authority, people who are accustomed to getting laggy hits will complain that it's not fair. They need to wean these people off of everything being managed on the killers end.
It's 100% of the time now though, you can see killers swinging and press E for free one more life.
Since dead hard started to work "correctly", it's broken nature showed up.

If that were the case, a down would just automatically teleport someone to a hook. There is a reason for the gap in steps. Nothing is guaranteed but some steps do increase the likelihood that you'll be successful at a task.
There is a big gap between "almost guaranteed" and "guaranteed", there is a reason why "almost guaranteed" to get a hook when you down survivors.
-
@Nicholas said:
The reason for the surge of complaints is because of validation, Killers don't like validation. They like being able to get laggy hits based on what they see. The killers have a tremendous advantage over survivors every single match in the form of latency. Survivors have to account for their own latency plus that of the killers with no way to see that information. So now that DH validates the hit, it's a big problem for killers that are accustomed to their hits always connecting.
Are you sure ability to dodge lunge 100% of times is fine perk?
It's like instadowning survivor every 60 seconds.

They can fix hook locations so these things don't happen instead of nerfing BO.
Fixing a perk is definitely easier than fixing bunch of maps though...
-
@Nicholas said:
The real issue is entitlement. Killer players think a down is a hook, but you still need to hook that downed survivor. Killers are not owed a hook until you hook. Every streamer I see crying seems to think that a down should be a guaranteed hook. You're owed nothing in this game! Also, have to love the emotion about how unfair it is when a Survivor allocates 75-100% of their perks for one moment and gasp when they are in that situation; they excel! Every time a perk is introduced or reworked, the sky is falling, seen this with Ruin, DS, Soul Guard, Power Struggle, Stridor, etc. It's always the dramatic skewed videos showcasing the perfect moment for perks, never the countless times these things don't work.
And killers always slug so stop pretending slugging is new!
every down should be pretty much guaranteed hook because otherwise game just doesn't work, and game doesn't really work with boil over abuse.

Survivor que time has been always a joke for a while, but BHVR wouldn't do anything sadly...

Being honest given that they can't read their own stats to save their lives...
They'd probably just twist low killers numbers into an excuse to nerf kills even more.
I mean just look at the Twins' nerf for a prime example of this:
Where the Twins are played so little that only mains play them and have a good KR with them.
So they are nerfing the Twins constantly as a whole because of the 2 twins mains left in the world are good players not because the Twins themselves are good.
No worries, they will keep facecamp bubba in some way so killers can still secure kills!

In other words anecdotal subjective talking points <3
That's not what I see in the queues.
EDIT: Before when it was peer to peer you could actually see the numbers. Now usually what I see is low rank survivors being fed to high rank killers. So the killers don't have to wait longer to find games.
It's opposite though, since there is too many of survivors, SBMM going tantrum they starts throwing anything bottom of the que at any new killers, results in all those unbalanced matches with instant killer que.
If it was SBMM throwing random survivors at killers, survivor que will be instant as there would be a lot of killers waiting for the que.

Unless you can point to something specific?
Which you haven't.
When was this supposed 'switch'? Because there wasn't.
Do you know what happened at release? Lobby Wars.
That's right, the devs had no idea that people would want to play with their friends in an online game (serious). You would be in a lobby for 15mins watching people enter and leave, enter and leave looking for their friends. What did that mockery bring about? SWF!
It's been a slow roll of nerfing survivors, buffing killers since. Because SWF unbalanced things so much.
Now I'm doing your job for you.
que time, it's enough as a proof.

No survivor hasn't, not in an meaningful way, in some time. Unless you can point to something specific?
Then it means people stopped playing killers and switched to survivors for absolutely no reason, pretty weird I'd say.
-
I only play dirtiest possible with strongest add-on and red mori offering, and then weirdly it became chill.
-
I'm pretty sure you can secure 2 kills with bubba, and +1 with some good perks no matter what.
-
The fact killers receiving many many buffs and survivors are STILL thousand step forward is ridiculous.

@MikaKim said:
Killers haven't really learnt to adapt. They've just learned to come onto the forums and whine and the devs encourage it.
It is, what it is.
*insert survivor or killer* haven't really learnt to adapt blah blah blah...
slugging is easy but easily counterable, nothing should require you to use perks to even play with it.

I played many killer matches and never felt spine chill was OP, even though technically it could be.

Isn't it whole point of plague.

then you clearly haven't come across a Killer who is aggressive as of yesterday I had 3 PC KIllers tell me I don't like this map so i Try-Hard and had to be aggressive so i get off this map or my favorite I hate your team just cause so i wanted to be rude so hmmm tell me how playing like that isnt aggressive whatsoever
Because, camping and tunneling, is by nature, passive playstyle.
You don't do things, you will wait things to happen.

Not at all. I've used it numerous times and it's absolutely done nothing for me. Hooks are so close together. A nice buff would be to hide hook auras altogether.
I don't think that will help anyway.

I mean they've essentially only nerfed survivors since launch and have continuously buffed killer so I'm really expecting it. If they do I would probably quit survivor for good, survivor would have nothing left. They just made The Artist with Dead Man's Switch and Pain Resonance giving me the easiest wins of all time so it just would not be worth playing such an objectively inferior role.
More survivors quitting is extremely good for game tbh, more balanced matches and faster survivor que, everyone will be happy.
-
Definitely not, survivors are fine as is and somehow dead hard is allowing them to have another life every minutes or so.
-
Basically "just remove hooks" is what OP is on about.
-
Because this is literally not playable with gamepad, and which is biggest of the players.

i mean, isn't the worst part of noed the surprise factor? you go tank a hit, do a risky save or something and bang, noed. If you know the killer has noed, you can look for the totems before you venture out.
Worst part? it's the best part!
-
You should DC at loading screen when you saw map offering, it's almost always trash map and has perks to abuse it.
-
Have you played killer? it's hella scary!
-
You mean making NOED BASEKIT?
because making key basekit is like that, but even then hatch itself is pretty much NOED where you have a totem fore free escape and killers have to close it.
-
What about this instead: "when you are last survivor, you will get free escape no matter what"
I'd love it as a killer bcause it will encourage people to hide instead of doing gens.

I see. That's pretty awk if the survivors are derp.
If survivors are actually bad enough, you can sac 1 of them quick and farm other 3.
-
Actually, if every survivors is even decent at chase, there is no way to win with any killers less than B tier.
So yes, "playing against semi competent survivors (which has enough knowledge to counter pretty much every move)" is actually unplayable, because nothing you do will shorten the chase.

What your doing is called nitpicking. I couldd do exactly the same thing ur doing for the killer side.
Why can killers now ressurect totem perks?
Why do maps have so many unsafe loops now?
Why are all of the new killers incredibly opressive in chase and easy for killers to play?
Also woudl you rlly rather play in 2016 than 2022 as a killer? Clearly you weren't around then and are used to the benefits which killers have these days. Killers played back in 2016 and you know what it was so much more difficult back then but they PERSISTED. They didnt complain about everysingle thing and they didnt blame every single loss on somethign out of their control. They got on with the job. So many killers these days have either such big egos or are entitled as hell to getting 4ks everygame.
Seems like they should've complained, because killers still sucks and there is only so much of them.

Why? If someone is entitled and decided to treat someone like ######### why shouldn't they get called out for their ######### behaviour?
Because that is literally has nothing to do with who plays what side, and then you can't even know actual main of "them".
Pointless, worthless and needless conflict for the sake of conflict, that bring nothing to the world.
