Hell, EVERYTHING should be based on team win and team lose.
-
Huh, if there is only two people left and gens are not done, I'd say it's pretty much 4k game no matter how long it takes to the chase.
There is extremely low chance that it is rage quit.
-
STBFL is for killers which is certainly not meta anyway, it could be OP but it's not scary enough to warrant nerf tbh

You don't move unless you take the hit. A hit that you have to time for your perk to work. DH will take some actual skill now. When it works It'll be the definition of they out played you.
Hm, where did they state you can't move during DH? if that's true it'll be interesting perk.

Well considering it can't activate during deep wounds if you're getting tunneled off the hook, you more than likely won't even get to use DH and it's only a 1 sec wait out now, but let's say someone gets unhooked and the killer hits them , they have BT but he continues the chase, DH isn't gonna do anything for you at that point, when you need it the most you won't be able to use it and not only that but the distance aspect is gone and that's what made the perk good now its going back to the days where people are gonna cry theyre always on the ground when trying to use it, anyone who thinks dead hard got a buff needs a iq test
so wait out till pallet which otherwise unreachable? hm?

No, honestly never had an issue with going against DH. 99% of the time I could just bait it out and the other 1%, well good on them for making a skillful play. Made me get better at mindgaming.

Who cares? How often do you personally go against a tourney-level SWF that you're stressing about this matter? 🤣 And also, yes there are low-tier killers that can do that, search youtube a bit longer maybe?
I'm going to cover my poor Wraith's and Nemi's ears so they don't have to hear those insults! They can absolutely destroy S.T.A.R.S 😤!
Huh? I'm not even stressing anything, that is a response to the post literally states "there is killer players who can wreck tourney level SWF" which is just wrong, so I guess he cares?
And I'm pretty sure those "youtube" vids are nowhere near actual comp levels, because in proper tournament there were no time non-meta killer managed to do great against SWFs without any restriction.
Also considering we as players are certainly not a comp level killers, survivors doesn't need to be comp level too, in which case without nerfs/buffs mid chapter games can just be unfun.

I'm mostly sure it'll have more utility than calm spirit though.

It's quite funny that when it came to color blind people killers were supportive of getting different colors for auras because it didnt affect them but now since they feel spine chill affects them they don't care about disabled people anymore. Just goes to show what they really are worried about.
Huh? I've never seen anyone against accessibility change, and do note spine chill itself is not an accessibility.
Also it's quite funny when people generalize whatever people as "killer" tbh, are you sure they aren't a survivor?

No players, huh? Not one. You know them all? Fair enough. Well, I guess I'm wrong then. It happens...ask my wife :)
Actually yes, even in comps pretty much anything is heavily restricted and it varies depends on killers due to extreme power difference between them.
In "everything" tourney there were no players who did good without nurse/blight.

What, you think you can't make distance within 1 seconds of free move? what kind of game are you playing?

yes but the the less the gen has, the less you'll need it in the first place.
and it combos well with mercilless storm or tinkerer so you may be more likely to pop gens at high percentage.
The amount you need doesn't change no matter how progressed a generator is, due to the fact survivors can work on as many generators as they want and their progression speed is always same.

So, I don't mean this to be snide, just an observation, but you didn't need perk reworks to play "off meta" killers. You could have done that anytime you wanted. Just because some popular streamer comes out with a Tier list and says "this killer is low tier", doesn't mean you have to let that affect how you play.
There are a mass of amazing players who decimate full tourney level SWF's with "low tier" killers. They do it by putting in the work, and the time. By learning the maps, learning the the mechanics, the footwork, the mind games.
Also, don't let survivors dictate the rules to you. Do you think survivors/SWF's say to each other, "Hey guys, lets not rush the Gens and blind the killer, because that wouldn't be fun game-play for him". Of course not, they want to WIN, and they will do whatever it takes to do it. So don't let them shame you for doing the same. Camp/Tunnel/Slug, whatever it takes.
I play Trapper probably more than any other killer. Coordinated SWF's in communication, usually hand me my ass...just being honest. However, the other 80+% of the time, I'm getting the 4K. I've had this game for like 3 weeks, am player level 83, and Iri ranked.
That statement is not meant as a flex, as I know there are thousands of better players than me. The point is, if I can do that in 3 weeks by putting in the time and the work, imagine what you could have done by now if you had ignored the "meta" and just played what you wanted.
Good news is it's never too late! Play the killer you want to play, the way YOU want to play it....and have fun!
See you in the Fog m8. Cheers!!
There is literally no players who decimate full tourney level SWFs with low tier killers, literally none.
I think better not tell blatant lies to people.

But why should people get free prestige levels now, depending on their unlocked perks?
Can i choose to get 150 free bloodwebs for each character that i have on p3 before the change to compensate the gear i've lost?
Technically it's like 80 or so of level 50 blood web, but I think you should have that?
And that's also the reason why BP would be better in a way?

if we say for example a gen is 80% done and you kick it with pop.
right now it will take off 20s
new patch it will take off 16.65s
If you cherry pick 80%, of course, and which is already much weaker.
And it only gets weaker and weaker the less it has.

Then they release a killer that's basically a better version of Sadako, this is unforgivable Behaviour.
I love playing and going againts Sadako but I barely see anyone play her due to how weak she is,that's why I barely play as Sadako anymore.
I am dissapoint Behaviour, Sadako suffered enough in her universe. Now after months, she still gotta deal with survivors bully due to how weak she is in Dead by Daylight.
Introducing better sadako is forgivable, what's actually unforgivable is just a fact they did not buffed her.

Uh, you know you can camp or tunnel to kill first player or two? just do that and there won't be enough body blockers at endgame.

There is big difference in something that can't be acquired anymore and something that can be acquired at your will though.
I don't trust BHVR anymore at this point, I'm not gonna bet anything on the fact that down the line they'll never say "After recent discussions we came to the conclusion that the exclusive icon in the endgame was a mistake and for that reason we are removing it"
The cost of earning the bloody cosmetics and the icon in this moment is exactly the same, with the difference that basically anyone who prestiged is saying not to do it only for the icon because it's a more than meager "reward" 😊
I wish they gonna do that just now so I can stop grinding this bloodweb ######### rn.

As far as the vaults go it sounds more situational. If a killer has to lunge then it may let the survivor escape. If the killer doesn't have to lunge then either just wait for the vault and perform a grab, or wait for the vault and try a swing. Maybe the one second will be up by the time they are on the other side of the window and it will still be a down.
No one really knows how it's going to be until we've tested it
Situational? yes, uncounterable? also yes.
-
Nerfed? it's rework, we can't be sure if it's weaker than old one.

All I know is, this game doesn't have any built-in features that help players who are Deaf (there's more Deaf people playing this game than you think), or hard of hearing like some other games do. Fortnite comes to mind but I know there are others. Their only option is to use certain perks to help them visually. I have two friends who are Deaf who play this game, and spine chill was a must for them. Its kind of boring for them to use the same 4-6 perks but its very hard to play without them. Seriously, play a few games with no sound. I've tried it to see how it is for them. Its harder for me since I'm used to relying on sound, and they're obviously used to it, but its still very hard when you can't hear. Nerfing it the way they did, makes it useless, and the game is borderline unplayable for the hearing impaired now. Spine chill was the biggest help for Deaf people playing this game. Sure, a lot of the game is visual, and yes, they still have to look around like the hearing do (and they do), but think about how hard the game would be if the killer NEVER had a terror radius? Imagine not hearing the lullaby of any ranged killer. Sometimes you hear these things long before you see the killer, so "well they can just look around like the rest of us" doesn't really replace it. As I already said they do, but we also rely on hearing so much. Well done devs, per usual XD.
That's certainly not the problem of a perk, it's basegame issue which should be fixed WITHOUT perks.

is it though? if a gen has barely no progression then its not worth kicking anyway, if its 80% or more done then you get 20% of that plus the extra 2.5% which is probably just barely less than its original 25%
if it's 50% it will be 12.5% kick, which is only half of original and even much less in actual seconds.
I won't consider 25% or 50% progression "barely"

They can't make the rewards anything more appealing than that, or they're then pressuring players to P3 before the changes go live.

And why on earth would a slightly different icon be worth it?
If it's because "it's exclusive" the same thing could have been said about the bloody cosmetics
The icon alone is not worth throwing away all you have, don't worry.
I wish I didn't prestige anyone.
There is big difference in something that can't be acquired anymore and something that can be acquired at your will though.

don't see how pop is unnecessary, gens are being increased to 90 seconds as well as losing 2.5% on the gen per kick.
You can make it 15% or less but somehow they made it to regress 20% of CURRENT charge, which is extreme nerf.
-
or just remove skill check, so you can watch your phone while playing this game.

Its not, I play Myers, Jigsaw and Deathslinger, I dont lose 3 gens in the first chase on a per match trials, sometimes it happens? yes it does, but its rare, like really rare and Ill repeat myself, it is happening to anyone on a common basis they are doing something wrong, its like saying its normal for a Survivor to go down in 15 seconds of normal gameplay, its not normal, sometimes its happens? sure it does but if you are a Survivor and cant last more than 15 seconds on more than half your chases you are doing something wrong.
I also play Solo, sometimes we fix 3 gens before the first down? yes, sometimes it happens, but same as Killer, its not the norm, it doesnt happen many times, it may happen once every 10/15 games at most and is usually because the MMR did something weird.
Now, you can tell me Killer is miserable, gens fly, maps are bigger than Asia, DH, DS, flashlights nonstop or wathever the current narrative is, Im not buying most Killers lose 3 gens by the time they get their first down, sorry but Im not buying it, especially not against Solos which make almost 50% of the playerbase either people lie about the gens or they lie themselves about their skill.
Your opponent is just bad, that's the truth.

So instead of countering most of the killer that are C tier, now it counters only two C tier killers (or whatever tier these 2 are). And does basically nothing outside of it. People brought this perk for 3 things (skillchecks, vision and vault speed) and 2 got removed basically.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3024646#Comment_3024646
WoO is still useful tho. It's niche isn't that big imo and even some advanced players could use it to make their chases even more efficient. One could say even WoO is a crutch perk now lol.
And Spine Chill? I seriously don't see what even newer players could do with it.
I meant WoO is strong general chase perk, and spine chill is much more niche chase perk.
Not really sure if it worth a perk slot but knowing there is a clear line of sight will definitely help survivors and will be more reliable than old one in certain circumstance.
-
Basekit buff is what's really more important to non-meta killers imo

Don't tunnel. Simple as that. Off The Record, don't tunnel. Seems everyone is only complaining because they just can't tunnel people out anymore after these changes.
Alternatively, just do grab.
It's weaker than DS in that matter.

Also if you have to grind to get reward before grind rework, it just doesn't makes sense too.
It's more or less encouraging grinding in an update where it remove grind.

I don't get what issue you are talking about even.
if the issue is power difference between killer roster, then it's more or less closer as all the m1 killers are much better at killing.
-
I guess it's for someone who can't tolerate any kind of sounds.
-
Hiding is one way interaction, from survivor PoV they are interacting killers but from killer pov it's not really an "interaction".

There definitely won't be complex MMR system, as there is not enough players to back it up anyway.

Yes, Dead hard should not be a thing.
Being out-invest with strong item and strong addon by all 4 survivors should not be a thing.
But its not related about I never see killer admits their mistake of 3 Gen chase. But always saying survivor should get better after being camped to death at 5 Gen.
if survivors can't last longer than 80 seconds (or even 36sec with 3 on a gen) including camping for some reason, something is certainly wrong there.
But killers taking ~80sec before first down is not really something strange, there is a reason why corrupt is pretty much strongest perk for most killers.

When you get hit. Baiting works against bad players only.
Good surv use DH on reaction = better than the actual DH for them
It is a nerf for low skilled player, a buff for good survivors.
And on top of that, good players can also use dead hard to secure a pallet otherwise not possible to drop.
In other word, to make distance while killers can do nothing about it.
Oh wow, it's like deadhard, what a surprise.

It's obvious just from looking at what they wrote, 1 seconds of endurance without any restriction will be 100% better than old deadhard.

Objectively fine, everything that says otherwise is purely from subjective point of view which made by their own matches.

No matter how people gonna put it, a perk that can revert literal death is certainly a strongest perk of all.
