  • She's THICC but her butt looks weird, it's saggy and not so rounded.

I agree, but the devs haven't made a well rounded butt yet. Meg's butt is flat as a pancake and super long. Someone needs some practice. Jane's butt is shaped like an upside down flattened heart.

  • I think Alert is good. Lower rank killers tend to break more gens, and lower rank survivors tend to throw more pallets. It's terrible to see a pallet assass*in on the loose but when I use alert I see it all the time. It will tell you where to move in relation to the chase . Bond is also good if you don't run self-care and it also gives you a lot of information. We'll Make It is good if your team is going down too fast you could be the hero they need. lol Deliverance, for those times no one will save you especially if you are in the basement or the gates are open.

  • I don't DC in 99% of matches as I find it annoying and it nosedives the team. I will DC on a doc who plays ( burns offering) Gideon with range addons. F that noise. It's torture. I imagine people don't care about losing virtual items especially if they play hundreds of hours a month. Others DC to derank. It's been stressed that red ranks are the unfun zone. Others still have their preference for killers they will and won't play. I hate Spirit but I'll play her. No way to get better if I don't. For some small few they DC because of the map. Frequent Dcs need to be punished harder. It's not fair to anyone involved.

  • Kate is not thicc.

  • Jane looks great from the front but they need to redo her butt. It looks a little too dumpy like she is wearing a diaper. Then again none of the females have a butt that looks right. 0_0

  • So healing gets nerfed because self care is complained about as meta. People stop running healing builds and just do gens. Now complaints are rampant that no one heals until end game. You can't have it both ways. Either take advantage of one down survivors or wave at the exit.

  • This killer looks like it will bring some fun into the game. What is funnier/scarier than a survivor running around with spreading the plague potential.

  • I'd like them to redo Claudette's dreads, maybe a different style and not so stiff, and redo her edges on the new cos where she is wearing a hat so she doesn't look bald. I'd also like to see Kate's hair redone so it doesn't look like a bird's nest flying on top of her head. And Nea with some non-colorful hair options. I get that she's into spray paint and graffiti but is pink the best that could be done? Devs have gotten really lazy recently by offering just one hair color/option with outfits.

  • Worse/boring killer to go against for me is Freddy. I get that it's a excellent technique to keep everyone sleep so you know where they are, but when Freddy uses Nancy's Masterpiece to put you alseep at crazy ranges I want to DC every time (but I don't) because its a constant battle of wake up, sleep, wu, sl, wu, sl. Also Freddy's tend to tunnel as they are prone to obsession builds.

  • Recently Tapp and Dwight. Among the female survivors I rotate Feng, Claudette, and Nea.

If an exit gate is started, the hatch should despawn.

I am so sick and tired of THOSE survivors who can’t just go, they force the already won game to go on even further and hold the killer hostage by looking for the hatch for extra bp and bm. Nah THEY don’t deserve it. The only ones that actually deserve it are the final survivors who played the game and didn’t give me toxicity.

I also think if survivors REMAIN in the map after the gates are open (or tier 2 or 3 to avoid abuse of mechanics) the Entity should reveal their auras to the killer.

I agree that after 2-3 minutes once the gates are open all survivors still on the map should be revealed. It's ridiculous when they hold the game hostage at the end. Everyone just wants to get on to the next game.

  • Not really a salty reply but more of an knee-jerk reaction from a killer, calling themselves meting out justice. I was fixing a gen upstairs in Father's Cambell's Chapel. There were only two of us alive, myself and David. He was being chased by the killer. I could hear them running around the Chapel but I'm almost done so I don't move. I'm rotating my camera to see if they come up the stairs but the moment I stop, David runs up the landing. I crouch near the banister, trying to stay out of the way and hope Clown doesn't see me as they pass by. I also didn't want to run and get in David's way. Clown sees me crouched there, stops and hits me. The burst of speed sends me flying toward the window on the second floor. I jump out of it, didn't realize David was coming for that window too. Killer hits David and downs him but comes after me out the window. The killer decided I sandbagged David...kills me, let's David get the hatch. Fusses me out end game about sandbagging other survivors. Oh, okay, I made my logical argument that I did not intentionally take the window but the burst sent me in that direction and it was the logical thing to do. I don't know if the killer realized that, because they simply ended chat.

Last time I killed myself on first hook was because I had to go eat dinner

    lol :|

  • I was playing at levels 14-10, some survivors that gave up were slightly higher levels though but most were in this range. I'm a casual gamer so I tend to stick around ranks 9-7 at the highest before rank reset.

I see a lot of survivors doing that when I play killer. It really just sucks for everyone involved. I can understand if you're getting camped (obviously not the best course of action but some people just want to move on to a round they're allowed to play in) but I see people suicide the second the killer gets any momentum

Exactly. A lot of my games had the person not let go and died on hook we could have won. It really does make a difference. With three people at least one can always be on gen. Instead people give up and throw the game. If you die now or later what is the difference, but at least you try.

  • I don't think you have to 'earn' hatch. Some survivors play really scummy and camp hatch, and don't make saves or don't do gens. That sucks and both killers and other survivors hate it when it happens, but that doesn't mean you should punish everyone else that play fair and contribute to getting out by getting rid of a mechanic because a few trolls use it selfishly. Some Killers hate the hatch because 4k is equated to winning, even with a 3k and two hooks on the last survivors its like pokemon to them, gotta catch them all, or I didn't win. Same with some survivors. If you don't exit, you didn't win. I play for the bloodpoints and the fun of the game. Maybe if I had maxed out everyone I'd feel different. I do play killer on Xbox, mostly because I'm a controller gamer, so I'm starting to understand the grind from both sides.

  • I get that there are various bugs in the game, but when you try and jump off the hook at your first hook, fail and instantly let yourself d*ie that's clearly not a game bug.

  • Anyone who follows an injured survivor worrying about trying to save them or get them off the hook is probably actually throwing the game. I understand trying to get off flashlight saves but at least get a gen done near the action. Chases can take a long time if the survivor is good. I hate seeing this too.

  • I started out playing Claudette. I didn't P3 her, yet, but I probably won't ever wear her P3 outfit as I hate that she has the reputation of scardette, and I never play her like that. I also play Feng, because she's a cutie. I also play Nea mostly because I was a Tomboy too growing up. I recently just got into playing Dwight. I have a lot of luck with him. I'll round out my top five with Detective Tapp. No reason. I just like him.

  • @twistedmonkey said:
You do know the hatch is in place to end the game quicker? Would you rather try and find a stealthy player for 30 mins?

The only problem with the hatch is stubborn players creating a standoff and then complaining about a choice thry made.

My ego doesnt get dented to do a standoff, I dont care if i kill or live in that scenario, I walk away or hit the survivor and end the match or jump in and let them try for the grab, I can then move onto another game gaining more BP and having more fun playing.

Exactly. I just shake my head at the 'standoff' complaints. It is only a standoff if you 'choose' to stand there. As survivor I'm going to try and jump or go do a gen. As a killer, I'll hit you and be done with it. I don't have the time to worry about a virtual kill or death. So what. The board gets reset in the very next match.

  • I don't think the game will ever be balanced, because it's all subjective. Some people think the game is in a good spot as it is now, others thinks it's too killer-sided or survivor-sided. Whatever team you play for, the other team will always have the ball. C'est la vie. As for the OP's comment, I would like to see some abilities work better for the survivor for which they originated for. It wouldn't be a matter of thinking up new abilities, just making them work slightly better for the original survivor. David can recover faster with No Mither for example.

Maybe an African American girl? The only black girl we have rn is Claudette and it's nice if we had some variety.

I'm hoping to see a Hispanic girl. If DBD is looking to include multiple ethnicities , it's about time.

  • I've been in a few games where the survivor is clearly working with the killer, using bond to point out teammates, but I can count those on one hand and it hasn't happened in a long time. I'm an altruistic survivor, not overly so as I don't think its smart to hookrush, but a more common problem for me than sandbagging-hasn't happened yet-- is dying on first hook because a survivor rather camp hatch. I don't care about dying, I mean it's nicer to make it out, but I just can't see how surviving is so important to someone that they would sacrifice everyone else to do it. Sometimes killers think they are being dodged in lobby when actually survivors are dodging other survivors. If you play like a scumbag just be sure to keep changing you gamertag. Scumbags forget, but the one wronged never does.

  • In order to play Legion effectively, most people resort to the worst play styles. Exploiting chase (walking backward/looking down.)Tunneling the bejesus out of one guy because if you follow them with Legion they are going to get hit no matter what. Legion like Doc and Freddy also force survivors into a repetitive state of, 'oh not this deep wound sh*t again'. I personally dislike Freddy the most because of his constant waking sleeping syndrome you get forced into. Also with deep wound, you can't see a thing on dark maps until you mend, which you'll never get to do thanks to Bloodhound.

  • First Mori I was a newbie survivor on PC before the rank changes stopped high rankers from depipping to level 18 where I was. Tunneled off the hook 60 seconds into the game and moried by a Pig. Two days ago I was moried by a Myers with Tombstone. Those are the only 2 times.

  • The only build I really consider toxic is Doctor with range on Gideon. Worse when the killer puts an offering on for the map so we know it's deliberate. You can't do anything. It's the only build I DC against. I use to try and play it out but the match drags on forever. Miserable.

    David King

There has to be a game back in my early days where a David led me through every single loop and pallet slam on autohaven. And since then I believe I've been subconsciously targeting them.

I won't give them the hatch.
If I see a crowd on a gen, David is who I hit.
I have even broke chase with someone because I seen a David.
I don't camp, but I've tunneled one of these bastards off the hook before.

When I see 2 or more David's in my lobby I come alive. My killer morphs into Darth Sidious.

    UNLIMITED POWAAHHHHH!

Sounds like David gave you PTSD.

Speaking from the survivor side of things, Megs tend to be farmers who jet off with Sprint burst leaving you to the killers tender mercy. Jakes the complete opposite, won't save you off hook if their azz was on fire and you had a bucket of water. Dwights have been the most selfish players in my experience. First out the gate if it's open. Blow up the gen and then get in the closet.

So true my friend, so true.. The only thing i'll change in what you said would be the Jakes part, here i would add Bills too.

Survivor side: What feechima said before but changing what i said before
Killer side: Kates, the most toxic players can you see.

Bills tend to be confused in general. Its as if the players take on the persona of a older man with memory problems. They tend to squat in corners being indecisive about saving or doing gens. They have awful timing for saves or running a killer, and still somehow end up being the last man standing. lol

  • I'm like the OP right now, trying to get more BP to get the perks on all survivors and some killers.

All perks that benefit someone else are better for when you have a team that is...shall we say, performing poorly.

Kindred- a good perk to warn others if the killer is around the hook, and it also tells other players who is going for a save so that two can stay on gens.

Leader- (which will no longer work on gens) will help your teammates do objectives faster, therefore benefiting you all.

We'll Make it-if you're going for saves and you're facing a killer that makes it a point to go back for someone getting off the hook even if they are in chase with someone else-WMI can be the difference between life and death of your teammate.

Borrowed Time, same concept as WMI, but even more critical for camping situations.

    Perks that benefit you personally-

Aftercare-I'm on my way to unlocking this perk. It gives you loads of information. It allows you to see a teammate you healed or unhooked and them to see you. This will help you to know if they are in chase, cleansing totems, making a save, doing a gen etc. With this info you can act accordingly.

Dead Hard-exhaust resets by the time you get unhooked. So if you have a killer coming for you as soon as your feet touch land you may be able to surprise them and get away to safety or at least to a pallet.

Adrenaline-Doesn't sound like OP is making it to end game that much, but it can come in clutch endgame. Sometimes you need to be full health if you go out into the open to get the gate. If you aren't healed, going for the gate unless there is no other choice isn't the greatest idea-unless killer is occupied. Also if adrenaline pops while hooked you'll be full health after rescuing. I unlock this on all my survivors.

Iron Will-very powerful perk, as any killer that tracks with sound will find you freshly injured. A lot of Spirit players rely on sound too when phasing.

And as a response to the Sandbagging comment:

Never intentionally sandbag. Great way to make enemies among people you may encounter or have to save you in the future. The higher you go up in ranks, the more you tend to play with the same survivors. Of course that is what a killer main would want, teammates that try and sandbag each other, won't go for saves or refuse to heal. I see the other 3 players as part of a team. We get out if we work together, not against each other. If you operate under the idea that playing optimally means you did a good job, then you won't worry so much about getting hatch and just enjoy the gameplay. I stopped caring about dying. Sure it sucks, but its part of the game. Doesn't mean I have to be the first out of the gate when it opens. After all, if you leave or not, you're back in the same arena next time. Don't get me wrong, if it doesn't make sense to save-a facecamping LF or a Noed killer where the hooked one is close to dying, I'm out.

  • Speaking from the survivor side of things, Megs tend to be farmers who jet off with Sprint burst leaving you to the killers tender mercy. Jakes the complete opposite, won't save you off hook if their azz was on fire and you had a bucket of water. Dwights have been the most selfish players in my experience. First out the gate if it's open. Blow up the gen and then get in the locker.

  • Hmmm hopefully you're not making an unsafe save just to get your deliverance at the expense of the person getting downed immediately off the hook. I've seen this so much. Whether for WGLF or Deliverance people rush to save and the killer just turned their back. I can't blame them for turning around and slicing.

  • I tentatively raise my hand here as I only have about 200ish hrs in DBD. I watch more than I play. I've played both Xbox and PC. Dabbled in some killer but I like survivor more as I'm not keen on killing folks. I started off with Claudette and I now rotate her out with Nea and Feng. I've recently started to really like Dwight and Bill. They seem like good luck charms for me. I like to run non-meta perks like Alert, Spine Chill, and Botany. Once I unlock Aftercare that will be part of my standard build.

  • Alert, We'll Make it, Hope or Spine Chill, and Bond. I really think Alert is underrated. I can see who the killer is if I'm not chased first and he breaks a pallet or regresses a gen. Also gives me his/her location so I can move accordingly. Bond helps me get on a gen with a teammate which I only avoid if I play against Legion, and find someone to heal me. When I get it unlocked, I'll switch Bond for Aftercare.

  • I wasn't using aftercare, but I was in a chase where at least 2 gens could have been finished, 3 if all my teammates were on separate gens. When I finally got hooked, I could not see the aura of any of my teammates. Then they emerged slowly-two in the locker in the basement. The third one also in a locker, all across the map. There wasn't even ruin. It was so ridiculous that I couldn't get mad. I went into second stage struggle before I got rescued and ended up popping the first gen. The killer was so disgusted with my teammates locker dodging and urbaning across the map he killed all of them and let me go. I ended up doing 3 gens by myself. I can see how perks like bond and aftercare trigger people. Also my teammates were Feng, Adam, and another Nea. I was a Nea. So not all Neas and Claudettes (my other main) play scared.

  • When I was new to the game, playing on Xbox, I had never experienced survivors working with the killer so I didn't understand what was going on when my teammates went down so fast. I was against the hag and she was working with a Dwight. Of course he had bond, so he was going around the map pointing us all out and saving us from the hook just to be downed again. I ended up DC'ing from that match. I remember being really p*ssed off. I ended up in lobby with the Dwight again, I left a warning message for everyone and left of course. I don't think anything would come of reporting him without proof.

  • Toxic plays come from both sides guys. You don't gain anything from camping one player and letting the rest escape. Toxic survivors actually expect to get camped and laugh when you do, tossing the rest of the game out of the window. Why not just go about destroying the team? What you are really saying to the player on the hook is that they got to you enough to take you off your A game. Camping does not stop teabagging. Teabagging for no reason is annoying and immature and to some disrespectful but you've got to understand there are kids, teens, and immature adults playing this game just like there are reasonable adult ones. Killers have a 1 in 4 shot of running into those types of players each time they load a lobby.

  • I agree with OP, bad strat and boring for everyone. Either look for the other survivor or hook the downed one. Unless you have insidious the other survivor is not even coming near you. If there aren't 2 gens done it gives them plenty of time to do it. If the slug dies, you're still in the same predicament as you would have been if you'd hooked the slug and gotten more points. God forbid one escapes, and yes, sometimes it an azzhole player that did nothing but urbanly evade the entire match but it doesn't mean the good players should pay with no chance of escape if the entire team goes down 2 gens into the match. I do think the hatch should be timed. I wouldn't mind if it closed after say 2 minutes and you had to do a gen to open it. I know that would totally swing hatch standoffs in the killers favor, so there would probably need to be some alternatives there.

Uh, did they not just nerf pallets, vaults, and close windows with long loops?

Play Killer on The Game and tell me again how they nerfed pallets and looping.

So there isn't less pallets on the maps, closed off windows to long loops, less safe pallets, and you're getting smoked on the best killer map...well damn? The game needs more pallets than most maps. The entire map except for two rooms one on top and bottom is a dead zone. Loops will always be a thing, there is no other way to efficiently evade a killer for more than 2 seconds, it's even harder to get from one safe zone to the next now. Also, I'm curious what alternative to looping do killer mains propose?

Looping itself has never been nerfed, learn the difference.

Successful looping is done by means of objects in the way, no? So you remove the means to loop, therefore stopping the loop short or preventing it from happening. Learn the difference. I mean I can loop around a pebble, but it doesn't make much of a difference in keeping me alive. Now if I loop through two windows and around a building then one of those windows are closed, I have less options to loop, now don't I?

The best killer map LUL. The Game has waaaaaaaaaaayyyyy too many pallets especially considering how many windows there are in close proximity as well and how small the square footage is. That map used to be good for killers but now? No way.

There are no windows upstairs except in one of the rooms with the surveillance office, doing gens up there is like taking your life into your hands. Leatherface, Billy, Nurse, Huntress, have wide and free open space to wreck a team with very few obstacles to get in the way. I'll admit downstairs is confuzzled as h*ll, but you can only loop for so long before you're forced up top. And that bathroom gen is a deathcell. Most teams solo or SWF just aren't that good to make it all out. Totems are hard to find on that map, and after all this time people still struggle to find gens on the Game. Do I still think its the strongest killer map? Absolutely. About the only killers to struggle there are Trapper and maybe Hag.

Reverted the fast vault changes, now you can fast vault easier making some loops even more long.

I know this is splitting hairs, but reverting back to an old way is not actually a buff, have they improved the vaults so they are even easier than before the nerf? Also, you didn't explain how pallets were buffed. Appreciate the info though. Guess I'll see the difference when I play this weekend.

Kind of sad, I've seen plenty of times that someone just goes to a locker, hides there nearly the entire game, and usually only moves just enough so crows don't sit on them before jumping into another locker. Oh well, I guess I won't really know that we are basically down a player so I won't get as annoyed by it maybe.

That is the worst shiz, ever. I've seen players do that down in the basement through bond. I try to rat out those players to the killers. As long as the weasel dies I have no problem being hooked.

  • Where are these statistics coming from that only 30% of the player base runs solo?

  • BL- after the exhaustion nerfs its the only perk that retains benefit in cooldown. Can't tell you how many times I've seen and fallen from heights and the stagger effect allows the killer to down the survivor or get a hit off if they are fully healed. Sure there are so maps where its not as effective but there are more maps where it is then it isn't. I don't run SB and never will because I don't feel like walking everywhere. Lithe is good and I use to have it on all the time, but its a one-pop perk and you're in exhaustion for the rest of the chase. DH, haven't run it yet, but from what I've seen with other players, it may go off or it may not.

She may not be the King, but she sure as hell is the Princess. I think maybe it's easier for nurses because most rock Nurse's Calling. Once she slugs one you go to heal them and she's on you for another slug, rinse and repeat. Hopefully, with recovery at 95% people will be able to get other survivors up faster.

  • Experienced it, OP, but there is nothing to be done but beat them to the juice. :unamused: It's also slowing down now that a lot of survivors have gotten their nectar.

  • I got that bug where the survivor rescuing me on hook got hit, and I bugged out in the hooked animation, so even when he healed,-I was Meg at the time- I was stuck in the hooked animation. I went across the map floating in the air and leading all the players to gens like a mother goose with her goslings, until I got hit by the killer and he brought me back down to Earth, briefly, but I went back into hook animation after I was clearly in the dying state. I did make it out of the game, but my feet never touched the ground again.
