+The larger terror radius completely removed the surprise element of the killer, giving survivors a huge head start and forcing you to waste a lot of time to catch up to them, because you're slow as well. Your gun won't help at a long range, it's extremely easy to dodge.
+Terrible ADS mechanics. The aim sensivity is garbage, I'm sure most of you will agree on that.
Extended time to aim down sights just makes the killer feel clunkier to play with minimal benefit to the gameplay for survivors, because if they do think you're going to shoot they can just strafe and dodge the harpoon even at a very close range, due to the very small hitbox of the harpoon.
Note that when you shoot a survivor with Deathslinger you're not guaranteed to inflict damage, unlike Huntress. Plus, missing shots as Deathslinger is way more punishing (you have to reload or you'll be limited to basic attack) than missing shots as Huntress (you have 5 hatchets as basekit and can throw hatchets back to back).
This nerf encouraged zoning a lot more with the increased ADS movement speed, you can just hold M2 + W until you get a clear shot.

Alright, it's actually quite simple to make Deathslinger better again. Here's my (and a lot of other Deathslinger players') ideas:
+Revert the nerf entirely including the add-ons but keep the extended ADS cancel animation, perhaps make it a bit longer.
+Improve the aim sensivity.
That's literally it. It doesn't ask for a whole rework of the killer. It'd be greatly appreciated if y'all (BHVR) took notice of this and make Deathslinger not suck to play as, thank you!
Let me know of your thoughts on Deathslinger, I'd like to hear what other players think.

I'm pretty sure the first contest was open worldwide and concepts were all public for everyone to see, then the last one last year it got super restrictive too, but it still included my country Spain, which is now not included this year. I don't understand why, when the first Claudette skin was made by an Spanish artist.
I don't really care if I can't get the auric cells, it just made me happy think that I had a chance to participate and have my skin playable by the DBD players and waited for this moment for long since I made it.
In case anyone is curious to see it, here is what I had done, and last a progress on the update I was doing this morning to be more detailed and original starting with the head, until I noticed Spain can't participate:

Real question is when are they gonna fix his camping? And no, staying on the hook and letting your team do gens isn’t gonna make all the bubbas stop camping. Also what exactly do you get from it? No pip, no blood points, mmr decreases so worse teammates, and waste of time. The devs need to fix it not let it be a thing since 2017

Rarely did I get competent team mates (Thx for the MMR BHVR! Is it still on?). In your clip when you were being facecamped, what the hell were your team mates doing?? That's what I've been seeing more in my matches as well (I play Solo Q). You have survivors just standing there in the distance, shook- not doing anything but staring in the direction of the hook. In end game stats it seems there are 2 experienced survivors who get like, 17-20k BPS and 2 survivors who get like, 6k. BHVR thinks this is "balance".
As for his saltiness, there is a narrative out there that he's bought into where Killers simply must camp and tunnel because the game is so unfair to them which is only partially true. SWF isn't that fair. I stopped playing Killer because it's miserable to go against a coordinated team on comms.
But Solo Q is at a disadvantage most of the time and lies at the bottom of the dung pile tp BHVR.
Listen I was solo, so idk what my teammates were doing. And one still died somehow. Oni camping me across the map and all 3 are on a gate and someone still dies. Idk what to say. That person put up 6k points.

Soloque is hell. You have teammates unhooking you, even if you dont want, cause you get tunneled out.
It wouldnt be so much of a problem if surivors get a tunneling and camping bonus, so they atleast get on 15k bp. Its frustrating to wait out for a match, wait for the loading screen and then camped out.
The strategy itself is okay, if you wouldnt loose a pip and so much bloodpoints. That frustrates.
Solo que is terrible. I got tunneled by an Oni and still had more points than one of my teammates that ended up with 6k. Idk how that’s possible lmao. The worst is when you know a killer has a mori and your trying to ######### on hook but your teammate still unhooks you

The map also seemingly ruins stealth killers because of how open it is and killers like Legion pretty much can't do their magic. Long ranged killers like Huntress and Artist can work with the open spaces, but because of how large the map is, Trickster and Deathslinger will struggle because their powers either work better at mid-range or have range limits like Slinger's gun.
Then again, maybe I just need more time, but the map feels bad to play on atm for both sides.

I was thinking about that. How players say they want more variety but then go and tell those players to run mega perks. Makes no sense to me. Also he lost 3 gens when he started to chase me off the hook in a map I don’t really know yet. And I just robbed by a table Lmao. But you can tell this team was bad he was camping and they could have left but they decided to stay and he got one. That one teammate put up 6k points. Horrible matchmaking

The last few nurses have been horrible games. I even played against Sluzzy and while I did have to leave a couple of times in the game to take care of something personal, I did return for the part when it was just downing people going for unhooks lmao. Also I got a bot that was playing nurse teleporting through walls while caring a survivor.
