To be fair, it’s completely understandable to hope/want a specific character to be revealed to have a specific sexuality or stay vague. Just because LGBTQ+ representation is important and needed doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be any heterosexual representation or that every char should get their sexuality revealed.
I have been playing with a lot of survivors recently. If they made let’s say 90% of them lgbtq+ I wouldn’t have a problem at all. Just got want the hot blonde to not get anything revealed😅 you should see the other hot blonde characters I like in other media lmao

Purposely playing this way with 4 or 5 gens still remaining to deny a fun match to prevent others from getting points. Killers are overwhelmingly overpowered in a very unhealthy manner. It is too hard for survivors to finish their objectives.
This is what happens in about 9 out of 10 matches in Dead by Daylight. I don't believe BHVR is aware how bad survivor gameplay is:

And killers are using Sloppy Butcher now that CoH is drastically nerfed. It is very unfun to take a very long time to heal, are we going to see a nerf to Sloppy Butcher???
Killers need some meaningful nerfs. Twins needs a major rework so slugging is not kindergarten easy. There is no way this game will last much longer if something is not done about how unfun and impossible survivor is.
I'm already done after one game.

- Fix an issue that caused the wrong lobby theme music to be played when the Little Red Gaming Fit outfit for Feng Min is equipped.

Killers chase, it's what they do. Personally, I don't target any Survivor for any reason other than being in my line of sight at the time. Maybe I noticed that you don't have any speed perks, making you an easier target. Maybe I noticed that you don't have a flashlight (or vice versa). If you're playing the game, you are a viable target and free-game.
If dbd was real life then how would someone be blessing a totem for healing someone instantly with “for the people” or how would a killer be undetectable lmao

Jeff - Transgender

At least I feel like it was. The fact that they made an entire TWITTER post about it was unnecessary. I, as a bi man, feel like if LGBTQ is going to be looked upon as normal in society, then we can start by not making such a big deal over gay characters in media. Even his Tome cutscene felt a little forced. My point is, the entire reveal felt more like a stunt for respect rather than actual representation. Notice how when Felix was said to have a wife and a kid it was in his lore casually. Things like that. Whenever there are straight characters in this game it's pretty much always put low-key in their lore. So I feel that it was kinda strange to make such a big deal out of this.
Tldr: it seems weird how when their is a presumed straight character in DBD there isn't any sort of twitter post about it, it is put in their lore but when there is finally an LGBT character it is made as a bigger deal than something it is not.
Yeah they probably could have handled it better. I do believe bhvr was trying to do the right thing

He’s only boring because everyone is playing him. It’s the same reason I hate huntress. I play against to many of them it get really stale. Earlier today I played vs deathslinger pyramid demogorgon pinhead and it was cool until I got 4 legion matches and 2 huntress matches. Does he need a nerf? Absolutely not. But he was boring before and it’s even more boring since he’s being played more.

A while back I wrote a detailed forum about modding, and the inclusion of modding your lobby music to whatever you prefer since it doesn't affect gameplay, I'd like to bring that back for this forum and mention that, THAT would also be very interesting to see! I think since the ghost face update everyone's been getting a bit more hyped up about music, and honestly, dbd is lacking some good bops to build more of an interesting atmosphere.

I am so proud of the music team as they have truly released some stellar work recently that reflects a lot of the licensed killers we know and love! but the music we've been listening to for years it's gotten stale, Doesn't mean it's bad, it's just not as vamped as it could be, if I'm going to wait through these queue times long or short, I'd like to have something different to listen to once and a while.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, and maybe if any devs would like to chime in about their experience making music and the possibilities for more atmosphere-enhancing music in the possible future.

I would guess it's more of a rotation at the campfire with trials basically happening constantly. So eventually everyone will meet everyone depending on who gets pulled onto which trials.

I always imagined those that escaped together from a trial end up at the campfire together. And then suddenly (probably after falling asleep) they would wake up in a trial with a random selection of survivors? Those that get killed either wake up directly in another trial or probably first wake up at a random campfire with others and then it’s business as usual

We have 30 survivors. That's a pretty sizable roster, and covers a diverse selection of individuals, different ethnicities and religions, and now, sexualities too. Statistically, it would not be unusual for there to be 2-4 other non-heterosexual characters within that number.
So there's room for more LGBT+ representation, that wouldn't be out of place.

Kicked out of her home for flouting her mothers preferred gender stereotypes, joins up with an all-girl biker gang with a side mission of protecting women from stalkers and abusers. There's more than enough room in there for a romance with one of her biker pals. Sure it falls into a couple stereotypes, but sometimes stereotypes are true, and these aren't exactly negative ones, they're empowering ones.
As long as they leave Kate alone, I’d be cool with whatever they decide to do honestly. They cannot change the license character tho
