Power Struggle/Flip-Flop? Boil Over/Flip Flop?
-
Sole Survivor.

Iron Will
Me neither actually. I just have this feeling that I'll mess myself up in chases because I'm not used to having zero-sound, and will forget to play differently again when I take it off.
-

Ash buckle one. I just can’t seem to ever find a reason to use it.
It would be used in solo if it didn't have the ######### range requirement. If you come within 32-40 meters, you might as well run right over to the guy to see what his recovery bar looks like.
-
It's a free escape for the survivor so it's blatantly not killer sided.
-

There's a great deal of irony in descrbing ANYTHING to do with the hatch -- a mechanism that opens up (nothwithstanding the use of a key) when everyone but one person is dead and the number of generators to power the gates aren't done, allowing a desperate chance to escape for the last survivor that wouldn't ordinarily be possible -- as "the most killer sided mechanic in the game".
Ikr. So "killer sided".
-
Because if he doesn't miss much and he has Melodius Murder or reflecting knives, he's an A tier killer. Super annoying that he's able to keep hitting you with knives in spots where Huntress would not be able to. He's supposed to be this garbage killer but consistently gets kills because his add-ons carry him, similar to Meyers. This feeling is compounded if you're a console player like me and get screwed by bad aim when playing as him.
-
Blight is not basic. They need to lighten up on the ranged killers though. Every killer power seems to be countered by moving left and right.
-
Hope that you don't get aim dressed.
-
Survivors and killers get their perks in the exact same way: by unlocking the teachables at lvls 30, 35, 40, and then finding them with the other characters. You don't even have to play as someone if you don't want, and still get their teachables.
-
I've never cared much for the lore. I usually only read the killers' and I do it one time, just enough to remember the big ideas behind them. Trapper: family owned a mine. Wraith: worked at a junk yard. Plague: a cult leader. When asked on one of the surveys how much it matters to me, I really don't care.
-
How am I meant to remember that?
-
Don't play him.
-
You say "killer perk" and then go on to list 2?
Anyway, mine is Franklin's by a landslide. Destroying items permanently is such a bad idea. We spent bp on those items, 3000 at min and 7000 at max, and we don't get near enough bp for our grinding as it is. If the items are so powerful that a perk is required to deal with them, then maybe rebalance the items instead of putting this band-aid fix of a perk into the game.
-
The devs have been deadset on ruining the Twins since before they released. I don't know why, but this nerf is evidence that that's what they're doing.

Where is this game going for $60?
I'm saying at one point, like when the Special Edition console port first dropped. But I'm also saying in general: games don't need to be that darn expensive. I don't care if it's AAA or if it's technologically more advanced. The price of consoles shouldn't go up either, because that was the unspoken rule for the longest time: that console prices didn't depend on economic inflation.

your statement: "Literally NOBODY thinks it's a fun perk."
My response: Not only I think is a fun perk, I use it sucesfully in several matches while having a lots of fun at it too! And there are at least another 2 people who thinks the same in this thread alone
And is obvious that franklin's didn't won that matches for me, I won those games using (d'accord your own stement) a "wasted perk slot"
The lesson for you here is: there are no wasted perk slots(nor trash/useless/joke perks) only people who doesnt know how to use them sucesfully
I just think it's an unhealthy perk. Some perks give bp, but this is the only one that takes it away. Ranger medkit, commodius toolbox, pink key, doesn't matter. They just get deleted from the game along with their add-ons, even through white ward apparently.

And yet they intentionally troll, seemingly for our amusement at this point.
I've watched Lord Tony on Twitch and he takes this game seriously. Can't speak for Sluzzy on that front, but I like to give the benefit of the doubt.
-
I believe that everyone I could have bought with shards, I have done so. I don't like spending more money on an already overpriced game. The standard should be $30-40, not 60.
-
I can't believe survivors are able to fast vault windows through Doctor's shock consistently, and it doesn't get rolled back like it used to, but when a killer clearly grabs someone, it rolls it back.
-
He actually takes skill to out-loop, and not in the no-skill Nurse sense. That's why people don't like him.
I can't remember any one specific instance of a hate message I received, but it was probably stuff along the line of "aimbot" or "camping tunneler". So pretty much the norm.
-
Theoretically, if 1 survivor is going to unhook another survivor, a good killer is guaranteed to grab them. But in reality, because the game lags and takes away the grabs, it allows the survivors to rescue their teammate when they clearly should have got grabbed. This is why endgame, especially against swf is so frustrating. You earned that kill but the game took away your grab so you get to walk away with absolutely nothing. Fair and balanced I guess.
-
Y'all probably did something to make him mad, or his last game was a bad one.
-
It's because people play 1 of 2 ways. They hide the whole game and turn a 10 minute match into a 16 minute match, or they stealth while rushing gens, which is pretty skilless compared to looping and rushing gens. It's annoying for both sides.

I think it’s a glorious perk! Sometimes I run Franklins with Bubba and nothing else, then camp the item until it vanishes. I’ll give up ALL the gens to protect my new Ranger Med Kit!
That's lame.

We need an Epic Rap Battle between Sluzzy and Lord_Tony.
They're not fictional characters for y'all to be entertained by. They're people.

I don't know what you are trying to prove. On the contrary, what this doesn't prove is that Franklin's is fun nor does it prove that Franklin's is what won those games for you, hence the DC's and stuff.

Y'all are mean.

I know SWF is stupid, but Huntress doesn't need iri head to beat them. I think her built-in STBFL x12 is enough. But above all else, gen speed is once again the deciding factor in that.
An add-on that makes her a ranged Hillbilly should be limited. We were lucky that the instadown aspect wasn't removed entirely. We just need to be extra careful with our shots from now on.

Franklin's is a band-aid fix to bad item balance. It feels like a wasted perk slot as killer, and it feels like you've been robbed when you get hit by it as survivor. Literally nobody thinks it's a fun perk.

Second offense is the jail bars which I believe do get removed after the week.
But what does "escalation" mean?
Does it mean that while I'm jailed and I do another offense, then it progresses to a thread ban, and if I do another offense while thread banned, it goes to forum banned?
Or does it mean I can do 3 offenses in 2017 and then way later, in 2021 or something, do 1 more offense and suddenly be perma-banned?

Funny enough I have been using spirit the most with the occasional huntress. And honestly I dont feel bad for toxic OoO players being tunneled.
Good. You shouldn't.
-
Jesus, man. You have so many examples. And this is some of the worst I've seen as well. I get screwed out of hits by tiny fps drops, so I can't imagine what you're dealing with. Why the heck did they even make a console port if we can't even play it?
-

I am not SWF player honey. I am solo. Also i am killer main, % 30 35 playing as surv.
It's well known that SWF abuse that perk though, so if you're running it the killer is gonna assume SWF and tunnel you out of the game.
-
I don't see Object often but it really does make me want to tunnel them out of the game, even if it means they're the only survivor I kill. If I'm gonna lose no matter what, let's just kill the person who would have caused it either way. Hope that you're playing Spirit or something when that happens, because few other killers are gonna cut it. And then the devs will use them getting tunneled out of the game as "People with Object don't have a high escape rate". Gee, I wonder why?
-
@Northener1907 said:
I am using it because i love chases. And killers always chases me because of this reason. "OMG! This guy is using OoO, i have to kill him."
But no sir, i just loving chase and taking your attention. And i dont think that is toxic. We both can see each other, it is 50/50
It's not 50/50 is it's SWF.
-
I see them the same way I see hatchet hits. They can look wonky at times, but you should know by now how greedy you can be at windows and still not get hit. Surprise hits are either just on the tip of the killer's hitbox or you were just being greedy.
-
Y'all might say that this looks like 60 fps. Look closer. I've got an eye for these types of things because I live it on the PS4 port, but it doesn't take an analyst to see the frame rate drops. They can be quite subtle at times, but you are able to see them.
-
Those SWF aren't going anywhere anytime soon. They're DBD's primary customer.
-
Make it to where the user doesn't get the effect of the perk, but his teammates get it instead, and change the distance requirement to 32 meters.
-
Those aren't even crutch.
-
Sadly, they usually get away with their abhorrent behavior. Happened to me tonight. Saw an Object on Rotten Fields so I decided to tunnel him out of the game, and lose 3 kills rather than play normal and get no kills, but his SWF and horribly designed loops like cow tree carried him so hard, he still ended up getting away. Very disappointed that the farm maps are gonna be the new Haddonfield after the remaster.
-
I probably wasn't gonna get it anyway, but a key for sure took away my Wraith adept attempt tonight. Who needs to actually do their objective and open gates? Just press a button in and win! Fair and balanced!
-
Killer for sure. If you're playing a weak killer, running weak perks, or using weak add-ons, which is the majority btw, you're not having fun. Why? Because you're getting squashed by the survivors when you, the 1 in the 4v1, should be the power role and aren't. All there is against the top % survivors and SWF is Nurse and Spirit. I got lucky tonight and had some fun killer games, probably because I only played 3 and played them really well if I do say so myself. If I had kept playing though, I guarantee you it would have been another rage night for me, as most are. There's compounding things that make you angry. Bad maps, op perks, killer weaknesses, SWF, second chances, having a bad round, tbagging, flashlight clicking, god loops, gen rush, aim dressing, lag, framerate drops, The list goes on.
Survivor is easy street compared to killer. The killer can't be on you all the time, unless he decides to tunnel you out of the game immediately for some reason. But as killer, you have to be on someone all the time. And even if you're on a survivor all the time, you still don't have enough pressure to play catch-up on the flying gens. You need to juggle gen speed and create pallet dead zones as well. Commit to chase too much or commit to defending gens too much, and it's all over. As much gen rush as there is, losing as killer is still slow and painful because there's always a slight chance you could win, but a lot of times there isn't.
As survivor you can tell if you're gonna win or lose. "If we keep this gen speed up, we win." "The killer has hooked too few people at this point to beat us." Yadda yadda. But as killer you never know when you're winning or losing, unless it's really obvious that you're against potatoes who can't do gens. "I have a split-map 3 gen. Hope they aren't on that far one because I can't afford to go defend it. Oh they were on it? It's over." "The gens aren't going too fast. Let's quickly down this guy. He's too good at looping, so let's leave him. Oh, 2 gens popped anyway, so it didn't matter what I did. Suddenly I'm losing."
Killer is way more stressful. Trust me.

You are Hag main and you are not trapping gates? Are you serious lol
#1 I don't main Hag. I just like playing with her, and a handful of other killers. Pfp is not indicative of what killer/survivor people main.
#2 Survivors can crouch.
Normally I'm wrecking the survivors so hard with her, we don't even get to the gate defending stage of the game, except for closing the stupid hatch which somehow powers them, which is why I sometimes slug for the 4k.
-
I think range add-ons like that would be dumb and would seem like it should be basekit on the killer. I had similar thoughts about the old chainsaw add-ons, the Guide Bar I believe, that extended the reach of your chainsaw hitbox. How does that make any sense? Same with the wind up add-ons for Huntress and the static blast input delay add-ons for Doctor. Their effect is so dumb in that they're not basekit. Some of these are fine I guess, but some can make or break their respective killers.
-
Gates are almost always far apart for me as killer. Hatch is a crutch, bad mechanic and should be replaced.

I immediately thought so as well but there is exactly 2 good perks in the chapter in total which is a flop
Undying is good. Blood Favor is meh. Dragon's grip is meh. Visionary is a joke, learner perk. Built to last is useful. And Desperate Measures is a better Botany. So no, it's not a total flop. It's just lacking OP perks and a map.
