What are the infinite loops? I'd genuinely like to know
Any loop with breakable walls pretty much. Specifically the Thompson House.
-
Placing snares only slows Freddy down if he holds it for a few seconds, which you would never do.

Freddy does not rely on addons
So whats the problem with some niche addons?
If you don't like the addons don't use them, im sure theres plenty others you would like using, i personally never run addons.
We don't want meme add-ons, we want good add-ons.
-
The devs always do this when they rework a killer's add-ons. They make them garbage.
-
It is annoying. I have to unready to look at my dailies.
-
I think one of the most important things would be optimization and game performance, yes. I see a lot of survivors, especially recently because of the pallet stun bug, complaining about how strong the killer side is, but they're basing some or most of their argument off of bugs and things that frankly aren't intended features. You see the same thing in killers' arguments, because of sounds being nerfed unofficially or the no-sound bug still appearing in the game. The most common thing I hear is killers hitting survivors who are already out the window. If all this stuff was fixed like it should be, that's less things that people can use now in their whataboutism.
-
If you don't use Bamboozle you lose.
-
They're the devs so they can make vague promises and just not live up to them in the hopes that people forget. It took a millennium to fix Instaheals or DS. A key change will be no different, taking as long as possible to fix.
-
@Polishnope said:
They are probably collectin the data about how keys affect escapes ratio becuse i dont belive that programer gived higher chance to spawn keys in the chest without the reason so it probably will be changed soon so do not worry
That's a convenient excuse for them as usual. If they had any clue of how to balance the game they would remove keys and hatch entirely. They're inherently crutch mechanics.
-
The devs don't care about it. I've said multiple times in the past that they should at least say something. But nope, they haven't.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
"The devs seem to not care about it" Well they did implement a chat filter. One that needs work but still. What else could they do to reduce toxicity in your opinion?
Who's to say the chat filter was meant to stop toxicity? Simply censoring curse words won't solve it.
-
I do like the idea of Iron Will and Stridor being removed. Game sound shouldn't be perk based. And I'm not talking about Quick & Quiet because that's actually fair, like 1 second of silence and only on a vault. But ever since the devs have messed up survivor sounds for killers, this game has been in shambles.
-
I don't like it either. It's inconsistent. Sometimes I swing and they get hit, but sometimes I get stunned.
-
Iron Will alone is overpowered. It shouldn't be a perk. Imagine killer had like no sound or no red stain the whole match. That's the equivalent.
-
Sad but true.
-
Dude get over yourself. If these bugs, which are bugs not intended features, were not in the game right now survivors would be having the time of their lives. Even though the devs drop killers crumbs every now and then, survivors are still more powerful by far. Survivor sided breakable walls, survivor DCs causing you to black pip, SWF existing, you name it.

That "other objective" also gave killers a visual cue when that objective was being worked on. Implying that all it did was slow the game down a little bit is silly, Undying could single handedly win games for bad killers because of how much pressure it put on survivors when combined with Ruin.
Whatever happened to working through Ruin? If you stay on the gens instead of getting them to 50% and then looking for totems the rest of the match, then maybe they'll just fly anyway. Guess what Ruin/Undying did to competent and adaptive teams: nothing. They used logic to figure out a solution but the devs don't care about that, because they changed it anyway, and shortly after the perk was released as well. Killers can't have anything strong except same old Nurse and Spirit.

What are you smoking? I never said anything about who the power role is, just refuting the idea that the devs only listen to survivors.
Sheesh, either get better at trolling or get better at putting together cogent arguments without resorting to ad hominem or other logical fallacies.
This whole post was about survivors being the power role because the devs don't listen to killers. You're one to talk about trolling when I saw you say "get good" on someone's post. Anytime someone brings up a killer problem in a post, you immediately decide to be against whatever they say.
-
Iron Will is a busted idea of a perk. No-sound bug as a perk. Maybe soon there will be a perk that makes survivors invisible as well, so we killer players get robbed of 2 senses.
-
@Tsulan said:
Well the devs recently introduced hatch offerings. So i doubt there will be a key nerf any time soon.
I'd they used that logic with Undying, this game would be in a better place right now.

Where are all these SWF teams and keys used to get everyone out because I literally play between 3-4 hours a night, every night, and I have yet to see one of these sweaty SWF teams people speak of? I think because a killer main plays against a team a night and it pisses them off they think it is happening a lot more than it really is. I dont mean to downplay you, or your experience but, I have learned this game has its own ebbs and flows. Some days are really good and some days you want to throw your keyboard lol.
You're just lucky. Some nights it's 1 in 4 matches where these sweat squads appear, and some nights it's 1 in 2.
-
He doesn't need overheat at all because it's a stupid mechanic that nobody asked for and punishes the killer for using his power.

Surveillance nerf was a bug fix, Pyramid Head nerf was needed since faking out his power was stronger than actually using his power (But also came with a buff which made using his power much better for beginners and people who just missed his attack) and seeing the aura of the cages let people tunnel hard. As a Blight main the compound 21 nerf was absolutely busted and needed a nerf, for being a green addon it had the strength of an iridescent addon. Trickster never got nerfed, unless your referring to his trick blades, and that nerf was needed to since people were using it in a way where the dev's never intended, and it made him really strong. I still believe he needs buffs, but that nerf was absolutely warranted. Freddy nerf was also warranted, he had way too many things in his kit without any punishment for it. Twins nerf I absolutely do not agree with, but I can see where the dev's are coming from. As long as they fix their time inefficiency, then I'll be fine with the 5 second cooldown. Bad breakable walls affect both sides.
Most of those changes you stated are awful examples of showing how the dev's "cater" to one side, they were for the most part warranted. And what about the other changes to survivor? If those changes make the dev's survivor sided, than what about the toolbox nerf, infinite removal, insta-heal nerf, DS and OOO nerfs, and more? Do those just not fit your narrative?
Also forgot to mention but the undying nerf was also completely warranted, having Ruin be saved up to 4 times was absolutely dumb and also having it have no synergy with token based hex's made it extremely limited with how you could use it. Yes, having your hex totems broken in the first minute of the game also sucks but that's an entirely different balance issue.
Edit: Also forgot about the iri head nerf, but I am really praying right now that you don't unironically think that it wasn't absolutely warranted. Even most killer mains agree that iri head + Infantry is the strongest thing in the game.
"Survivors need another objective." "Let's destroy this perk that gives survivors another objective because it's 'op'."

Undying is arguably better now.
Trickster was buffed.
Free zoning ala old Ph or current Slinger is garbage.
Freddy averages 3k across the board.
Iri head is garbage. It's low risk high reward.
I guess making things more fair is "listening to survivors."
Yes it is. God loops are still in. Unmindgameable pallets are still. Breakable walls are somehow a survivor sided mechanic, don't know how the devs managed to screw that up. You're so in denial that survivors are the power role, even with whatever significant buffs killers supposedly are getting all the time.

Cool, name them then.
Surveillance nerf, Pyramid Head nerf, Undying nerf, Compound 21 nerf, Trickster nerf, Freddy nerf, iri head nerf, Twins nerf, more bad breakable walls. You probably already knew all this but I was nice and told you again.

I doubt Dimitrescu had even been shown off to the public, and thus became famous, by the time they made this deal with Capcom. Using her wouldn't be bandwagoning - it would be shilling. Bandwagoning would be using the RE2 Tyrant.
No, it would not. Nobody wants a regular tyrant anyway except maybe me. Mr X and Nemesis are way more popular.
-
I would. It's not honoring the franchise to include a bad guy from RE7 or RE8 because that's just bandwagoning and trying to seem hip with what's popular right now. There are tons of characters more deserving than someone like her.
-
They're self-obsessed scum who are only tbagging you because they know you can't even get them at that point, even though the fact is that you probably couldn't get them anyway because of how blatantly survivor sided this game is.
-
Is there really any doubt?
-
@ChiTenshi said:
Can you give recent examples where this has happened?
Oh boy can we.

That makes no sense.
-
No more ranged killers. No more killers whose power is countered by moving left and right.
-
It should be buffed. Then you'd really quit.

I like that your post starts with, "I kill someone" and that's apparently a loss
I kill 1 person, the other 3 escape because of it, even though they didn't finish their objective. Fair and balanced, right?

I have never seen anyone saying the hatch is a flawless mechanic? And pretty much everyone agrees that changes to key/hatch (which have been confirmed) is something good...
but.. how do you even define fairness in this game? That’s a very subjective topic. You may say that the hatch is unfair but I bet there are many survivors that played against you that accused you of being unfair? Do you care about their take on fairness or just your own?
Everybody and their mother says "hatch is fine", but it contributes to half the game's problems: mass slugging, slugging the last 2 survivors, keys, hatch camping, activating Adrenaline even though the gens weren't done, etc. Survivors usually don't have a right to complain about what's fair because they're the power role clearly and have tons of counters to pretty much anything the killer can do. Slugging: Unbreakable, tunneling: DS, camping: Kindred, chasing: exhaustion perks, gen defence: SWF.
So this game is pretty fair. For one side.

I get the sentiment but you're going to have to dodge a whole lot of lobbies.
I just play normally and if they rob me, I take comfort in knowing keys are going to change soon.
They won't. The devs love to tease the players, especially the killers, that good changes are coming. And then they don't come, or they're handled horribly.
-
@Artick said:
Well you are probably going to dodge 1 lobby from 100 so who cares lol.
It's every other lobby.
-
Anytime someone says a game is dying, I laugh and move on, because it's said about every game and most likely isn't gonna happen anyway.
-
@BioX said:
Enjoy? Also you care way too much
I care about fairness, which most people must not because they think hatch is the flawless gem of this game.
-
Agreed with most of it. Nurse is clearly better than Spirit though. And Trapper is better than Trickster.
-
It's because nobody wants to play killer.
-
@Crowman said:
I wouldn't say that Tenacity and Unbreakable are similar perks let alone Tenacity being a worse version of Unbreakable. Soul Guard is much closer to unbreakable than tenacity is.
Also of all perks to compare to Adrenaline you pick No One Left Behind and not Hope.
I also wouldn't say Object is strictly better than Distortion as they do different things. Object shows you the killer's aura when they can see yours. Distortion blocks the ability for the killer to see your aura. Distortion has more competition with Off The Record as it's the only other aura blocking perk survivors have.
You know what I mean. Sorry if I didn't match your preferred examples exactly.
-
I find her kind of fun to go against. I like to be able to out-loop everything, but she is a little different. You have to play with your sounds while she's phasing, like slow vaulting windows, crouching, doubling back, throwing the pallet from the wrong side, etc. The standing still tech is dumb though. I think anytime she's phasing, the sound should play.
-
I thought they might have meant Tales From The Crypt, which I would have been more excited for, but these look cool anyway.
-
A survivor-only chapter for it would be cool, but even cooler would be Beta being the killer.
-
Blight.
-
People like to pretend that Nurse is barely played, or that most Nurses are bad, or that she's weaker than Spirit.
-
Console consistently has bad framerate, even outside of matches.

The things you say dont apply to a STRIDOR spirit, even with iron will she can easily hear you
No. Crouching still makes you quieter and you can still double back, or double double back. It just depends on the Spirit's intuition and patience.
