A Rework of Billy's Overheat Mechanic
- The chainsaw now cools by 1 c/s while actively sprinting.
- The chainsaw now cools by 20 charges if it hits a survivor.
- The chainsaw's charge speed is now increased by 0-20% based on how hot it was when Hillbilly started revving (80% heat for maximum bonus).
This way, it's an actual risk-reward rather than just a pure downside.

How bout we Revert his Basekit nerf.. back to his old powers. Eh? =D
He needs to be reviewed again. Addons need to feel like they are providing a benefit and at least many of the old ones were actually worth running. The only ones left that are fun are the ('Monto') Drift King addons.
They nerfed the hitting obstacles addons ('Bumper Billy'). Like these were not even popular or considered abused and were nerfed. No ones noticed because they are not popular.
They kept two chainsaw charge time reduction addons but penalize them into useless-ness.
Engravings feel terrible to use because of the overheat mechanic.
Just remove all these negatives/drawbacks to all his addons. It's not like there's an addon to increase his movement speed or counteract the other drawbacks.

What do you mean you dont think an add-on that cools your chainsaw only when having a flashlight shine on you isnt worth running.
Fully agreed just remove overheat in general its crap.
I absolutely love the idea of reworking the overheat mechanic to reward Billy, but also give him the risk of overheating his chainsaw. Considering they want to keep the overheat feature in the game, this could be possible. However I'm also fine with removing the overheat mechanic overall.
He doesn't need overheat at all because it's a stupid mechanic that nobody asked for and punishes the killer for using his power.
both devs and players on both sides considered him balanced.
then he gets nerfed because a dev couldn't loop him on stream..
If hillbilly was a survivor,devs would have changed him immediately.

I literally stopped playing hillbilly and leather face because of their obscene reworks that did not need to happen legion needs one before them or trapper
No If he was a survivor the next survivor would give him the ability to chainsaw through walls and negate obstacle collision

I can barely run Engravings without Overheating after like 3 uses.. on a Open map or pre-school even,
Edit: Then again.. i can't run billy without engravings..
it just makes no sense to rework killers who don’t need it I’d rather have 3/30 unusable killer perks reworked before any of the killers are reworked tbh

Monsterous Shrine now boosts the progress in the basement by .1% more to hook speed
But leatherface is actually better then before, he can pretty much still do all the things he used to but now he can use his power in significantly more ways then before.

Nobody thinks lullaby is balanced.
Lullaby is just trash.
He was talking about a dev not being able to loop billy so I mentioned lullaby which was nerfed cause devs couldnt hit skillchecks xD
Also don't forget that the dev who got it nerfed lied about it saying it didn't effect all skill checks and even changed its description after the nerf to try to gaslight the community into believing it.
