I have nothing but free time, and dwindling sanity.

Cool... I guess?

I got one!

Fair, but 15 euros for a skin that doesn't change anything except the look? Ok.
With $15 you could buy 3 killers, but legendary skins are essentially just glorified purple skins that don't do anything special to the killer.
The guy is right, but it's the principle behind charging 3/4's of the games original price for just one skin.
-
I saw Bricky testing out hitboxes on Autohaven with Deathslinger... what in the actual [BAD WORD] are those hitboxes?
They aren't even accurate to the actual object, the majority of the time you'll hit air.
-
I'd suggest more effects, this would make it slightly less useless.
But more effects would be needed on the special hooks to make it worth the effort of getting survivors on them.
-
And so I retire Scrooge McBlight as well... he shall return next christmas to take your crap.
-
I'd give blight more Ketamine

Tuned Carburator is one of the candidates for worst addon in the game. It gives less time reduction than old Spark Plug while making you the speed of Hag. Meanwhile Oni has Scalped Topknot making his dash basically instant with no impairment at all...
I still remember when the devs said that they liked where hillbilly was as a killer. Then proceeded to add needless resource management on top of giving his addons a kick in the nuts for good measure.
Then in a later statement they changed their stance completely. Saying hillbilly needed to be changed to be more fair. ( for the instasaw addons it was understandable, but the rest is still absolute bullcrap to me )

So what you're asking for is for every killer to get buffed?
No, I'm asking if all of the sound cues are necessary. Also if we could have an experiment to see if removing some of them impacts gameplay.
There's also this magical thing called "using your eyes". You see, when you turn your head around, you can see what the killer is doing. I know, amazing isn't it?

Dirt is good for the soul

They don't want to detach themselves from their precious gens. Because doing bones is a waste of time to them.
Honestly these people are going to get undying nerfed for nothing.

Look, I don't want to trigger you or get into an argument about this. We just look at it very differently. Me, I say... "hey free stuff.... cool beans... thanks." I mean, they aren't blood relatives or even close friends. They aren't required to give me jack squat. Oddly enough, they have given me more than some friends and blood relatives when I think about it. I think everyone who starts feeling the urge to chime in on what they didn't get, or what they should have gotten... should watch this first:
Let me put it to you this way.
Imagine you wake up on Christmas day excited. Your family had been hyping this day up for about a week.
Past christmas days were very lucrative for you. Your parents would give you $100 and some toys.
Then you open your present, only to find a dime. Your parents say that you'll get a dime for every day left in the month. After all that you're left to wonder, "what can I actually get with a dime?"

If they nerf it into the ground, yeah. That, or we'll start seeing a ton of Pop and Corrupt. I'm hoping they won't nerf it into the ground.
Here's to hoping.

The thing is though is that BP is the most basic, and low effort, thing they can give us. Add to that, they are giving us basically none of it.
If they had, instead, gave us a Blood Hunt/2x BP for these two weeks we would have made many, many more than what they are giving us. And those would have been free since we are doubling what we normally earn. Hell, they could have made it one day and we would have made more.
You could have one match with all party streamers. and still make more than what they're giving us for the entire month.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Funny that they promoted this advent calendar as a redemption from the disaster that was the Halloween event. These 10k BP and limited codes are pretty cringe right now. At least my main survivor (Cheryl) is getting something new.
I still don't understand why they can't just give us the cosmetics as login rewards.
My best guess is they want to make some extra money if people miss out and want to buy the cosmetics.

What does this another user said? If you don't mind me asking.
And regarding the noed meta, I don't think it ever went away. Those who don't have ruin/undying just run noed instead.
The user said if undying is nerfed then we'll return to the NOED meta.
I've been using NOED as part of my Scrooge McBlight build, and it's been doing some work. Though there have been the usual complaints of "NOED is a braindead perk!". Which I also find funny because holding a button for 22 seconds to counter an entire perk is pretty braindead as well.

I too miss christmas events, I miss great events like the bbq event but I guess that is just a memory of the past.
Remember the days when BHVR could pull off 3 decent events within 2 months of each other?
For as bad as the balance was during that time I sure do miss 2018.
-
@NomiNomad said:
More than likely, yes. If they keep up this trend they wanna start, Descend Beyond will receive a chapter review. Blight is pretty good as is, so I imagine all they'll do is give him that POV fix. Both Felix's and Blight's perks will get looked at. Felix's perks likely won't be touched much, Visionary is really the only bad one. The other two are just niche.
For Blight, Dragon's Grip probably won't be touched.
Hex: Blood Favour will likely be buffed.
Hex: Undying will probably be nerfed, considering how many people have complained about it.
Expect these forums to melt down if that happens.
If another user is to be believed, we'll return to the NOED meta if that happens. Which would be pretty funny considering the counter to NOED is the same as ruin/undying.

Just give us a double BP week starting at christmas or 1 day after christmas to celebrate that and the end of this awful year.
BHVR is it really that hard?
Come on
There was a blood hunt in the last winter event in 2018.
Seems like they didn't have much trouble enabling it when the community was raging about the eternal blight.

@Tsulan said:
I have to admit I expected a little more for Christmas.
Maybe even some auric cells or something like that.
They've never given those out for free, it would have been a pleasant surprise. But expecting even a minimum amount of effort or generosity from BHVR is basically asking to be disappointed.

@crowbarman said:
I haven't figured out what to do with shards at this point and I have many 50 characters fully leveled already. Seems like most survivors/killers can't be bought with them. You can buy perks, I guess?
Or you can grind out nearly 100 hours for a single cosmetic.

bUt THe EcoNoMY!¡!¡!
How did that ever even become an excuse for BHVR?

Woah look at Mr. Godlike killer over here! Save some 4k's for us pal.
-
Is pipping that important? There's no reward for it, in fact the game only gets worse as you get up in rank. One match against or as the plague isn't going to affect you much.
-
@xenotimebong said:
I can’t believe they stuck with 10k for almost the entirety of the event, even after people have continuously complained about it being stingy. Lol.
Don't you know? They have to protect the "fragile" bloodpoint economy.
-
Hoarder and Franklin's. Not only do you deprive them of their item, but you can see when they pick it up again.
I've been running this combo on my Scrooge McBlight meme build.
-
Adding recent serial killers would be a massive no no. Historical ones, like around 200 - 150 years ago would be at least somewhat acceptable.
The issue is that if you add recent killers, you're essentially giving more attention to their victims as well. I'm sure their families would sue BHVR out of business for doing something like that.

Same,it's gonna be a pretty long time until i could afford a PS5.
Let's suffer together with our 10 FPS 💪
Until then I guess I'll lobotomize myself as blight by slamming into more walls.

@OniWantsYourMacaroni said:
They aren't even able to fix the major FPS drop issues we still have (e.g getting bloodlust,getting hit from sloppy/noed etc.)
I guess it's more realistic to get a next gen console before we get proper optimization for PS4/Xbox One/Switch :]
Well I'm kinda broke so I'm just stuck on previous gen T.T

Calling a killer "boring" isn't constructive. Come up with the words to describe what you find unfun, or don't complain at all.

but do you start turning before a lethal rush attack, because some of the turning before an attack helps you turn into it
Yes, I've tried. The attack is still easily avoidable by sidestepping.
-
@bjorksnas said:
to be fair I don't know how well they can implement the fact that pc blights near the peak of their skill ceiling can hit people around 3 corners and basically 180 other than EXTREMELY high input sensitivity, but also one of the hard parts of it is what I call the double flick which I think console players are leaving out a bit, where before you flick you first flick your view model then flick again for those big swings
my only advice for console blight is look to the side you want to swing around a corner before you start attacking around a corner
There is no flick on console. The closest thing we can do is turn around really fast during a slam. And if I try to look before round a corner, chances are I'll hit the corner even though it was barely on my screen.

Yeah, it really sucks to see someone pull off some sick moves with Blight and then realize I’m on controller so that play is either impossible or going to be an enormous pain in the ass to pull off.

@tactic said:
Absolutely. I always feel bad whenever I see a console player talking about how hard it is to play Deathslinger and such.
devs should really start giving controller-users advantages balance patches to help with the downsides
Even if they gave to him for the first half second of Blights lunge, it would be much better than what we have now.

I personally thought it'd be easy to play slinger with a controller, is it that bad?
It's not terrible, but PC is much better at reactionary shots.

Adding arbitrary resource management to killers is a bad idea in general.
This one would be really bad because it forces doc to go to areas where survivors aren't. Being an m1 killer he already lacks mobility, but forcing him to go to abandoned areas would be downright awful.
