Im wondering what that vault looks like with fire up and bamboozle on t3 myers. πŸ‘€

Idk why I have not tried that. I personally liked fire up because it's a comeback perk and Mike usually (unless survivors suck) has to do some sort of a comeback so the extra speed in kicking, vaulting, dropping, picking up all come in handy with that task. Will def try that once though to see what it looks like.

I love fire up and bloodwarden though. I wonder sometimes if tru3 wouldnt have done better against oracle utilizing brutal + fire up + CI + sloppy. The gens were getting done stupid fast regardless of any gen slowdown, fire up + brutal would have let him zone them and get rid of the pallets much faster. Sloppy would have slowed their healing down at least. CI for early pressure.

    Bloodwarden is just funny

BW is awesome I run it if the killer I am using has no way to slow the game down/regress it. Fire up I have always loved especially on MIKE you tend to lose a couple gens stalking and man his vault in tier 3 with fire up is so hilarious they never see it coming.

Wraith for sure. Dishonorable mentions go to Oni, Demo, Deathslinger, and Huntress.

This about sums it up. I personally feel Oni's are the worst. Nemesis I only use in a Furtive/nemesis/rancor build for mori challenges. Zanshin still just not valuable to me as you should be able to identify the areas it highlights anyhow, and blood echo meh short time of exhaustion on only injured members and hemmorage? Still not sure why that status effect is still be put on add-ons/perks.

wraith - I don't hate bloodhound, predator is not terrible but not worth a perk slot (only say not terrible because scratch marks are weird right now), and shadowborn is useful on some. BETTER than ONI.

Demo? Surge is awesome even with the prison requirements on it. It also syncs well with some other regression/slowdown perks. Rest are situational at best but still BETTER than ONI.

Huntress - Lullaby/undying is super fun to me love this perk, Territorial is great for basement builds/demo MYC basement build, Beast well ya. Overall though still BETTER then ONI.

Slinger - 2nd weakest in game overall to me but (BUT) Gearhead is actually not bad on m1 killers these days procs quite often, Retro is alright but shines with Haunted grounds, Deadmans switch just needs therapy not sure what they were thinking with that one and of course shows up in my web constantly. SLIGHTLY better then ONI.

When playing survivor I usually always bring a flashlight.

Reason being is matchmaking is so volatile in the evenings/night, that I get paired up with rainbow ranks (hell some brown ranks play better than reds...).

I don't know how good my fellow Dwight is running his base skin (bless him he looks so cute)

Point being I run the flashlight to waste/distract as much time from the killer as possible, because my team mates are usually potatoes.

If I have the killer fixated on me they have all the time in the world to focus on their objective. I will try run/blind the killer for as long as possible.

I even managed to flashlight save a Steve on his death hook twice on one of my previous games.

But I would like to know from killers mains is what I'm doing toxic to you?

I like to play both roles and if I know a survivor is decent at looping and has a flashlight I would not focus on him all match, but instead target the weaker survivors, and wait till he has to to save ie out positioned.

However especially to new killers this playstyle may appear super toxic, if I see your a new killer in the end game I will usually always apologize and explain why I have to do this.

If you are a newer killer don't focus on the survivor trying to get your attention, they are most likely the most decent at running you around and blinding you.

Also if you suspect a flashlight in the area don't pick up.

Yes I know I'm echoing advice but still a lot of killers pick up as soon as they down someone... I know I'm there watching you 0_0

Sometimes I would love to run SWF because I would not have to resort to this, since I would know how good my friends are etc. But they got scared off DBD in the first few hours hence I am alone :(

If there any solo survivor brothers here, do you being flashlight? If not what do you bring and why not? How do you handle potatoes?

I usually ignore the flash light until I have more free time in the trial or I catch them out of position. Someone trying to get your attention right at the start or clinking their flash light constantly usually ain't the quickest of chases. I will destroy their team while they watch as I know chances are they will be trying to get saves and be around chases instead of doing gens two birds one stone.

I like Anniversary cakes as it gives me incentive to actually go through Bloodwebs, but it is annoying that the Cakes stick on one Character and are lost on Prestige.

yes I remember also having to run through a bunch of cakes on each character before I prestige. It's not a bad thing as you can use that BP after you prestige. I just don't like using the same killer for a week to burn them all up.

How do you get 400-550k? It's awarded poat trial so with 32k max + 32k for BBQ and then another 160k for 5 cake offerings. Wouldn't your max be like 224k per perfect match more or less?

No I have scored well over 300k as a survivor so as killer you can do more. It's been a year so can't remember my exact scores but I know for a fact i got more than 224 plenty of times. Each killer is different and better than some in the BP department but have you ever scored a perfect 32k game and have more than 32k? Without BBQ I'm talking about as killers (just the way it looks to me) can earn more than 32k. The 32k is based off the 4 categories and hitting 8k in each but they still have other way to earn points besides those via there powers. The BP gains are weird but what category does precise nurse blink, blink hits, frenzy hits, bear traps/setting them, etc go in? I have notice that each killer is better in some categories than others. Some you can't get deviousness for #########, some brutality is better then hunter, etc. So maybe that where there powers are dispensed? Not sure all I know is if you get into a 5 cake game I remember getting more than 224k and I don't save BP so know I didn't have any saved. Could have also been high too it's possible since a year is a long time even though it fly's by.

  • @spodamayn said:

The cakes are better. People do cake offerings nearly every game so you'll almost always get more BP from the cakes than you would from a blood hunt.. Unless they do a blood hunt during the anniversary event then you get the best of both worlds. I've played during all of the anniversary events and it's pretty rare that there aren't at least one or two cakes played. Most games everyone uses one.

EDIT: Also AFAIK the rate of getting cakes wasn't nerfed in the last event.. it's just that last event had 2 items you could get (flashlights and medkits) making it so if you were doing survivor bloodwebs you'd have a chance of getting those as well so that's a potential bloodweb slot taken up. This is why the rate of getting a cake on killer was much higher because there weren't any addons or anything to take up space on the bloodweb which made cakes the highest priority

Exactly. Double blood points is cool but there is nothing like a 5 cake game with BBQ/WGLG as a topping. Nothing like 400-550k a game depending on how you do (survivor) or the killer you are and also how well you do I guess. Both are great (have only seen one BH in my time) but nothing is like cake time.

  • I personally want something for Freddy. He transforms himself into many different things to screw it to children/teenagers. I would love the trenchcoat version 1 from Wes Craven's New Nightmare but would settle for just the 80/90s black shades (glasses).

I can confirm that 2 different survivors stepping in the same trap (without the trap being moved) will fulfill the challenge.

I assume that a survivor first disarming the trap before catching another survivor in it will work, but that's not how I got it so I can't confirm.

I can confirm that them disarming it and then stepping in it does not work because that was what happened in my trial I just got out of. I should have had the challenge two survivors stepping in the same trap but somehow he's Steve vaulted over my trap, exact trap zarina had vaulted into not long before not sure how that worked. Perhaps when I reset it it moved a little bit or perhaps zarina didn't hit a perfect Vault not sure.

  • I have been successfully flashbanged twice since Resident Evil came out. They are really easy to avoid blast mine is just more of a nuisance doesn't really do anything on our way I can see that being a problem is if I was on my last few seconds of pop and just made it to a Jen but I haven't had that scenario yet. Could have sworn this side lightborn was not supposed to counter it as flash bangs and blast minds are lightburn but maybe I'm mixing something up or maybe that's something with the wraith I don't remember.

Mine is very close to P2. The upcoming event should help me get her to P3 with the perks I need.

Yeah that's how I feel pretty excited about it. I want to stockpile as many as I can I have got every killer to prestige 3 except for the four newest releases. So I want to stockpile the ones that are on Prestige 3. I'm hoping this event helps me to get barbecue on a bunch of them right now Huntress, Freddy, Bubba are P3 50 with BBQ but outside of them ghostface is my only other one that's P3 with barbecue so I might be using him a lot during the event I think he's around level 30.

The Pig nerf is going to give me nightmares tonight.

If you dont have ANY decent perks on her cant really have high expectations. The point of perks is to help strengthen the weaknesses of that killer. If you dont have Save, sloppy, Bbq, monitor, enduring, brutal, corrupt, etc then her weakness is glaring and easy to take advantage of. Unless of course you play bots.

  • @GeneralV said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2312435#Comment_2312435

Yeah, it is something I've noticed too. Makes me angry at the Bloodweb for not giving me Brutal Strength.

But I shall not give up, no matter how challenging it is.

Stbl is the only chase perk i run on her. Just have not needed anything else i personally dont boost her ambush or crouch and do just fine in loops. I crouch and if they dont leave they get downed by ambush dropped pallet or not. Yes there are some spots anbush aint long enough like shack for instance but you can close that with mind games. I also dont run tampered timet crate of gears I personally bring extra trap and extra box. I do my best to put the extra trap on the obsession but just someone running the gauntlet twice is enough slowdown with sloppy. Monitor and BBQ are my other two but i am a hugh fan of enduring so might one day (when bp not needed as much) swap those two for enduring brutal. From what i read on here shes not for everyone but I love her and can kill you faster with her than S class killers.

  • I find killer near unplayable right now but ts not because of swf/survivors or killer being hard it the fact that when i use most of their powers i get lag spikes. Only a few i have found around decent enough to not drive me complete nuts.

Oh I know it's not easy getting head pops. But when you're a really good killer and survivors have to take the time to get helmets off just that slow down Is enough to slaughter a team.

Monitor, Sloppy, Stbl, BBQ is my favorite build. slow down with traps, healing, end chases quicker with save the best, BBQ for bp and to find targets without helmets, monitor for a couple of reasons but if I was going to swap a perk out it would be monitor.

Yeah thats kinda it lol just wanted so show some appreciation while everyones hating on bhvr

Agreed I have been occasionally playing due to the fact I play on Xbox One and mainly at the beginning of the game just using my power causes me to get massive lag spikes up here facing a different direction. So for the past two to three weeks I haven't played very much due to this I haven't done any other challenges on the 4th entry and I'm at tier 62 so yes I agree much easier rift.

The fact the recently Every survivor I've been matched with even though I save them multiple times has left me on my first hook at the end of a match. Killer isn't camping or anything and they just dart out of the gate. So If I am in your game and we are survivor together don't get hooked because I am leaving you up there. As I cannot take the chance of risking a hook state for someone who is just going to leave me up there.

I recently started this to. I sometimes play with 1 person and recently we dominated a huntress but they caught the random and put them in basement. We went down getting him out and the randoms instead of healing just left us. Now noed/basement see you later.

9.People who main survivor on youtube are mostly toxic and bully kids who give bad influence on survivor players.

I mean perks that you run every single game on any or every killer, to the point where you feel cripped when playing without them.

Someone here recently mentioned to me that Shadowborn is not something they like to rely on as a crutch every game when playing Nurse because they want to remember how to win without it, and I realized that I rely on M&A with Michael, to the point where I can't remember what it was like to play without it.

I also run BBQ every game on every killer, and I'm starting to realize that, aside from the BP, it's not actually a good perk. I'll see maybe one aura, which will unfailingly be clear on the other side of the map (everyone else is running Distortion or hopped in a locker as soon as you picked the bastard up), and by the time I get there, there's nobody in the area and the person I just hooked is loose. It's not the absolute worst perk, but there are a dozen other things I'd honestly rather run if BP weren't a factor.

I also run Nurse's on most killers.

Far as survivor goes, I absolutely CAN'T play without Urban Evasion. I'm addicted. And I'm starting to rely on Self-Care and (to a lesser degree) Botany Knowledge almost as much.

    What about you?

Well that stinks your only seeing one aura I play at rank 1 most of the month once I get back there from rank 5 each time and I see aura's almost every time. Only thing I can say about your experience is it's a good thing. yes no aura's but they are going out of there way (stop repair) to hop in a locker, get within 40m, hide behind a gen, or go back and forth, all to counter that one perk slot.

To the question - My pig I play M&A always but don't have the feeling of needing it with my style though. Just like having it for situations.

All killers - BBQ/WGLF for sure. Really starting to love the enduring/brutal combo though.

i really wanna have fun with different perks but most of them are useless meanwhile survivors have a plethora of good perks they can choose from. You are also forced to run gen regression perks because gens fly too fast my idea is to nerf these perks and give survivors something to do beside M1 like finding a fuse to turn gens on.

What perks you want to run? Everyone is right you don't have to run all gen perks quite frankly thats ridiculous. I also don't think you should bring none unless you are a master at that specific killer. I had 2 daily's with Slinger (ain't been playing much lately) had to get rid of them last night he is level 15 I put on the best 4 perks I felt I had tier 2 disco, surveillance, retribution, third seal. So no gen slowdown/regression and I lost both hexes in the first minute ofc. Turns out disco/surveillance was all I needed anyhow so try the perks you want, when you want to, oh and get better.

Yes, some of these placements I do as well and yet they can find it. To be fair, it is still kinda obvious placements for experienced Survivors if they don't see you using the most know trap spots (under palets / shack window, etc.)

Sadly the ONLY unexpected traps are the ones that are the most useless and random (random traps in grass, etc.)

Any area that I can't see the ground due to grass I walk slow enough to where the DISARM TRAP pops on my screen before I step into it. Has helped me a lot against trappers.

When they hosted an event for the 3rd anniversary event with a live band, they put ranked rewards on the timeline, it was to be completed in the last quarter, right before the 4th year anniversary event. Here we are approaching the 5th anniversary "event".

The rank rewards are tied to the MMR release so who knows when that will happen. Was a big shock for me the first time my devotion reset and I found out you get nothing for it except the same amount of shards you always get. DEVOTION represents the players DEVOTION to their game so you would think there would be some kind of iri bonus increase or something for leveling that up.

Buffing his trap capacity seems like an easy fix that many have suggested. I wonder why BHVR has held back on this? Kill rate too high?

Maybe? Problem is kill rate is a terrible way to determine some/most of the killers strength. 2 hooks but those 2 hooks resulting in 2 kills I'm sorry but is a ######### game. 9 hooks resulting in 1 kill is a good game you just didn't target someone out quick enough/or refused to do it. There are so many variable to kill rate not sure why they would use it. Not to mention even if the survivors smoke through the gens and play optimal if your a good killer and understand endgame hooks be able to kill 1 no matter what. Whether they leave the one you catch, hook trade, etc, at the very least one. Even if you play poorly whole match and gens are done in 3-4 minutes you should get one. That's not a good game though, if the team ends up not leaving them and gives you 3-4 kills in a game where technically you should have got none. 4 kills to trappers kill count in a horrible game. Point being to many variable for kill count to be used. We all know who is weak and who is not and so do they. Buff trapper damn it.

  • @stikyard said:

I hear this a lot on the forum and, I suppose if you are comparing him to a fast mobile Killer who can pressure gens and slug like crazy, then yeah, he can't do that but, he's not meant to do that.

I personally dont like facing Trapper. I feel like I can't run and I avoid optimal pathing and looping, tall grass, ect. It probably gets in my head more than anything when I realize it's Trapper.

I've seen teams fall apart over a couple well placed traps and, I've seen 3 gens pop before he ever gets a hook. RNG can be a factor, slow set up, and Luck buffs on Survivors can ruin your traps.

I'm not sure how he should be buffed though, perhaps his traps start the match armed? You might not like the placement but, it could help if RNG is good to you.

Starting with traps armed I think would be really strong. The game where I run Iri Brick (traps reset every 30 secs) is a very strong add-on and I have got numerous catches with those traps before I have got a chance to pick them up. Trapper has some strong add-on combos and with corrupt (time to set-up) can be very dangerous. Basement trapper is a machine and can take down teams very easy if the trapper is good and the team is does not have luck on their side. I personally would be happy just being able to start with more traps as I feel he's unplayable without at least a yellow bag. So maybe he could start with more or just not have a limit all together to the carry amount.

There's a lot of good Pig players out there despite her not being the strongest....

is what I would say if I hadn't had one player tunneled to death (with an active helmet) in literally every single Pig game I've played against in the last 6 months. Like, Dude, you're just throwing away free pressure. C'maaaaaaaan

Ok so I will admit their are a lot of garbage piggy's out there apparently but my point still stands. You will know when your up against a good one because you will be the one under tons of pressure praying/needing 4 good teammates. I personally feel she brings a lot to the table but also has weaknesses/counters. I am also obviously biased so theres that too.

  • I rotate her outfits every game. My style is the same. If I happen to come across you with a hat on/at a box I will slug you and move on. If I am in chase and I here a box search I will break off slug and continue the chase. I don't hook hats it not efficient unless I see no one else or all remaining have them. Not everything is always black & white there is no way to know what all is going on with everyone, killer included. Yes some Pigs don't play her correctly but that's there right and your job to make her pay by 3-4 man escaping her ass. The ones that play correctly you will know because you will all be dead or a solo survivor at best.

  • πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘

  • I take it easy but that's me. The way I see it (as killer) I have now missed out on the opportunity of at least 3 chases and 3 hooks so I want to at least get the remaining 9 and 3 stacks of BBQ. Had a Game Monday that was complete BS I was playing with one friend we load in and there is only 3 survivors didn't even show a a 4th portrait so they had to dc in loading so not sure why it allowed game to continue. Upon seeing this our other random quit now leaving just myself and friend against a nemesis with Corrupt, Pop, BBQ, and Lethal. My friend was in a chase instant when he was downed I popped a gen. Nemesis followed me to the hook hit me as I unhooked, down me after unhooked, chased and downed my injured friend, game over. No one got #########. This is trash and why I will at least farm the remaining hooks it give the survivors the chance to do something and gets me my points. It's not there fault who is one there team.

  • Well we know they copied and paste the cakes at least right? Oh wait they copied to original ones that don't work instead of the ones they fixed a week after oops. Also as fun as it sounds to hook and hear sizzling or to see drinks poured when doing gens events like those just are so unrewarding. They give what 1000 -3000 extra a game more then I had I guess sure but that's why cakes all I care about because I ain't seen anything better. Everything else is just a paper weight compared to them to please just fix them please.

And also please listen to this person. They have an icon of STBL and are telling you to not use it? That should tell you something I would hope. Huntress (when learned/mastered) is so powerful because of her hatchets so quite frankly running around building up STBL meh. Is Bitter murmur really that good? I glaze over that perk all the time. And whispers? I have tried that before but honestly it just confuses me more than anything else. Can never understand where they're at.

I don't use whispers on any killer. I personally find it overrated as when it shines the most is beginning (you should already have an idea) and end game (one or two survivors left camping). I would love it if it didn't pick up survivors on hooks remove that I would run it.

My huntress - BBQ, Corrupt, IM are period will not change those. The 4th is where I would recommend Disco, Nurses, I'm all ears, Pop are all great options.

Notice here I do not mention Bitter Murmur as I also do not like this perk. Like noed I feel you are planning to lose the game/gens running it as both perks require you to lose your objective/game to benefit. None of the perks I suggested have that requirement.

Cheers for the first part in particular mate πŸ‘

I just hate Hag so any chance I can give her ######### tbh lol

Fair Enough. I used to hate hag too as well as doctor, Nea, and Feng Min. Now I don't really hate anything in this game except everything that don't work right............, Toxic Nea's, and Feng's Voice.

Nah still no lol just trapping tiles and pallets takes no skill

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and you are one of the opinions I DO respect on here however I do disagree on this one. I mentioned above my side that all killers require some skill some more than other ofc but some you can pull your base skills from one to the other examples being M1 killers all you have to do is learn cloaking/body blocking, throwing bottles, Static blast/shock timing, etc but Hag, Trapper (demo portals maybe) require a different style completely to learn. Ofc I am not talking about hook camping killers I am referring to strategic trap placements, and the setup required to do that. Hag's also have to understand they are slightly slower so chasing is a learning curve there as well. Like I said just my view on hag a killer I am not a fan of but do like the different level of play she brings.

  • Oh and to the point every killer on the [BAD WORD] roster takes skill. Just some more than other is the correct response.

  • I'm sorry but if you guys are red ranks and myers is your pick here you don't belong in red ranks. Myers has slow build up unless of course morons feed him stalk. If you are outside of red ranks lots of killers will feel strong to you because quite frankly you suck still and so do your team. You have not learned all you need yet, you will soon learn how to become a stronger weapon than a killer because survivors are capable of that. if you were truly high rank you would be glad to see myers instead of spirit, nurse, bubba, blight, huntress all day unless of course you specifically like one of those killers. Lol myers no skill πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I done heard it all now.

I don't agree. He needs more nerfs than just a tentacle slow. He gets 4k nearly every game because he has more advantages than any other killer in his basekit. He is shown where you are if you open a vaccine box. He is shown where you are if you are near a zombie. He is fast enough to end all loops while swinging around his tentacle. They also need to remove his ability to see the zombies auras and the notification of the vaccine boxes. He needs to be slower at full power, too.

He needs major nerfs. If you are a killer main investing all your blood in him I would think twice! He won't be so OP forever, because the numbers do not lie. He's killing everyone. I have written down the details of every match since his release and out of around 200 matches he is the most used killer by far (somewhere in between 25% and 50%), and he has gotten 4k in all but FOUR matches. No other killer even comes close to that. If this continues the devs know they won't keep new players. BHVR NEED 4x the survivors as they do killers, so they desperately need to balance this better. Nerfs are coming, don't waste your blood!

My twins kept me up last night and I still have to work for 8 more hours. I need a pick-me-up can you send me some of the shiit that your on?

  • Yup im just patiently waiting for an xbox series x/s. Im not starting over plus i dont want to play on pc anyhow. Wont solve everything but will be better than wat i got.

What does Bait mean? And i have 1100 hours so dont try to teach me anything

Then close your thread. Why post? You should know then smart-ass how to deal with a fukin tentacle with 1100 hours.

Fyi - Bait is many of things you use to catch fish like your post.

Δ° was at The shack and how can i know he is gonna use The tentacle.

Ok now I'm convinced this is bait. Well I guess you could just be new so here let's try this. You can rotate your camera (look behind you) to know when he is going to use the tentacle. The tentacle is not instant.

  • Why are you vaulting? Unless you have enough distance you should not even think about a vault. Just juke the tentacle then vault it has no width to it at all. Not that hard. Change your game up a bit maybe?
