I mean, it’s how you chose to look at it. Honestly, when playing killer, a lot of what survivors do feels frustrating. I absolutely prefer one side to another, but playing survivor is not more frustrating from what I’ve played. , and I always preferred solo. If it weren’t for longer question, I don’t think anyone would deny it

I am talking about both sides, killers have to deal with gen rush , 3 gen stalling, ect. There are alot of things about this game that are just not fun and are very poor from a design standpoint. After 4 years this is unacceptable. Other asymmetric games have figured out the formula. Friday The 13th for example does a great job at making counselors and Jason fun to play and I never feel like I wasted my time. Sadly due to the legal dispute the game is on ice but with a dedicated player base. If I were BHVR I would be worried for the day Friday The 13th begins adding content again or when another asymmetrical horror game challenges thier current supremacy in the genre because so far it seems like lack of competition is the only reason people stay.

Oh who would they be? Not any of the top streamers in this game, they've all at one point or another, tunneled or camped, the footage is definitely out there.. not that it matters much, no one else cares because they understand what to expect at times. Sometimes the best move is camping or tunneling. Just because Killers want to win games sometimes, and is willing to employ all strategies to enable that, that statement alone shouldn't upset you as a survivor because you feel the same way.

And just so you know, there was a time when slugging was seen as bad as camping or tunneling, some still hate it to death and call folks out who do it despite IT at least being a necessary tool at red. Again, it's crying that the killer is being efficient, nothing more.

The game is so poorly designed that the most efficient way of playing is the most boring and the biggest waste of time. Why do people support this game again?

  • @Anara said:

The problem is not the game, but the players nowadays, everybody wants to be good without hours of playing.

When I started dbd it was late 2018, the game wasn't new, I played with good players and I was with my Claudette with only one perk. Now I'm red ranks. I started by hiding in lockers, now I know how to loop.

The new matchmaking is coming soon, but I can guaranteer you that new players still won't stay. Some of them will, the one who loves to train and be better players, but 3/4 of them, the ones who just cares about winning (like the new generation of gamers) will not stay.

The problem is : the new generation of gamers.

Lmfao, how do you git gud at a broken casual game?

  • @slunder said:

Dbd has a lot of updates that attracts new players, like, for example, stranger things. However, the game fails miserably when it comes to keeping these attracted players. The new player experience is terrible for 2 reasons: the grind and the bad matchmaking.

First of all, the new player has 1 perks, no items and no offerings. Then, they will very probably be matched against people who have a full builds and strong items&add ons. This will make it so that in addition of having the disadvantage of being new to the game, they will have an artificial difficulty that is out of their control, which will make the game frustrating for them.

Then, new players suffer from matchmaking. I am not gonna mention how long the killer queue times can be, I am just gonna talk about noob players with pro players. Rank 20 players often get matched with high ranks and get destroyed because of not having any experience vs pro players. They will stand no chance.

And now, I am gonna reply to 2 comments in advance:

"NeWs PlaYUr GIt guD By PLaYurg EgAINst BetURE PluYeRs". The first thing you do after buying a game is trying it so see if it is fun. These players will then try to get better. Fun fact: players that leave a game because it is frustrating do not git gud at it. And it is not their fault: if 10 games in a row the game throws crap at them, their choice of leaving it will be logical. Now, lets answer a comment that is not made by bully squad swf:

"the devs will change the matchmaking so that it does not make baby players go against pro players". If only that could be true. I do not really trust these devs: when dedicated servers came in, we though it was gonna be good, yet it caused hitboxes to become even more broken and grabs to be canceled.

In conclusion: I am gonna give my ideas:

    1) New players should be able to unlock 4 perks at max level for 1 character (4 perks that are not specific to a survivor). This would allow them to play the game without a ridiculous disadvantage.

    2) Only match gray ranks with gray ranks and remove the ability for rank reset to push players back in the gray ranks. This would allow new players to not fight against 3000 hours mega pro players.

And now, there comes the unhappy smurfs that will yell in the comment section. Anyways, I will do my best to answer everyone.

The game was more fun when I was new.

At the start survivors actually got hook saves, healed others, found totems, and did gens. But as you rank up survivors do less and less and just focus on gens.

At the start killers actually chased survivors, and pressured gens and made the game fun. As you rank up killers camp and make the match a complete waste of time. Nurse is the only killer I enjoy playing against because they are the only ones who attempt to play the game and pressure gens.

DBD is a fun idea. But its design is poorly executed and the devs seem to have zero ambition to fix that.

  • @Squirrel_Thicc said:

Literally the only reason you made this post was to spark outrage. Nobody cares... except for entitled salty survivors.

That would be interesting, but I feel like this would quickly end up with the same issue. If survivors could just touch a gen for 1 second to then gain another 10 mins of hiding... I feel like people wouldn't be satisfied with that... I do like the counter if killers are camping, but I think the community wouldn't agree with what is defined as camping... Dunno!

They would still have to come out of hiding though to touch a gen and that gives the killer an opportunity so hopefully people would just try and do the gens instead of hiding. Maybe a time limit would be better, we will never know until the devs actually try something.

And I would consider camping as staying within 5m or so from the hook for an extended period of time without being in a chase. I think that's reasonable.

If that's how you want to interpret the point I've made then so be it.

Perhaps rather than curb your expectations I should say don't expect a particular playstyle from someone else as you will probably be disappointed.

If you are not actively cheating or trying to grief people, abuse people or belittle people then play as you like.

There will always be a mechanic that can be exploited in some way and the devs appear to be making changes to stuff for QOL of both survivors and killers, railing non-constructively at them doesn't seem very productive either.

Lastly its not worth taking so seriously its a computer game.

A game I spent money on, a game that wastes my time. A game that has had these issues for four years. Where are those QOL changes?

  • @pseudechis said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1468206#Comment_1468206

I'm not dictating how you play, never have, never will. You think people wasted their time because they didn't play in a way you believe will improve them, maybe that's not the goal today, who are you to say.

Your reply was " to not play a pvp game" if they don't want to do what you suggested. Their answer was no and to that I say good on them.

The only behavioral suggestion I gave was play however you like but perhaps curb your expectations of other players. Because it seems like at the moment in your mind there is one way to play this game... your way, by your rules and everyone else is wrong.

Well I'm sorry mate we all have bad games, we all get mori'd, we all get camped or tunneled, or gen rushed, looped, stunned, clicky clicked, butt danced or any of the other things people complain about. Shrug your shoulders and queue up again or take a break. Its just a game.

Yeah, people who do not care about the experience of others will abuse poor game design and game devs who do not want to fix design issues and release DLC instead will ignore those design issues because people will still play the game and still buy the DLC. Maybe I need to curb my expectations for this game and its playerbase. Apparently they were much too high. Thank you for the advice, I will massively lower my expectations and expect every game to be awful

No, I think I'm going to keep playing. I like this game and I dn't feel like I need to improve or get better just because its a PVP game. I play to have fun and enjoy myself at the end of the day, not to turn the game into another job.

Well like I said, you ruin the game for others by doing this as well. And I'm sorry if I seem like I'm coming at you hard right now. Its not your fault but instead just very poor game design by the devs that creates a situation that is not fun for both sides and wastes everyones time.

  • @AberrantPsychologist said:

I think this discussion highlights a particularly insidious problem with the community's perception of the Killer role; generally players expect that a killer player's number one priority is improving their skill as opposed to having fun.

Problem is the way he goes about playing for "fun" is the complete opposite of fun. Idgaf if I lose, but if I go down after a long chase or because I felt like taking the aggro off a teammate I shouldn't then be face camped into another looby.that is horse #########. If you want to have fun over skill go play a PVE game.

  • @LinkOfSerevillon said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1468111#Comment_1468111

Exactly this. I play to have fun, I'm not trying to be a streamer or professional esport player.

Then dont play a PVP game

  • @LinkOfSerevillon said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1467964#Comment_1467964

Then we are on the same page. You don't like it and neither do I and I'm not about to get better if I can't regularly practice. I dont exactly have hours and hours to spend to begin with so I usually can only get 1 or 2 killer games a day and I'm not about to waste them getting no kills.

Use those 2 games a day to get better then instead of wasting them on a single kill. With practice you could be getting 4 while actually playing the game.

  • @pseudechis said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1467958#Comment_1467958

sigh such an over the top response. No one said hack the game, I mean seriously its all the melodrama like this that leads to such a toxic community. Seriously aggressive responses intended to intimidate others into playing the game how you want them to play it. Such as calling people scrubs because they play it differently.

There is no need to grief abuse cheat etc etc, just play the game.

If you get chased for three to five minutes then camped you got 3-5 mins of quality game play and yet you're still complaining. Maybe you're getting camped because you got chased for 4 gens and the killer knows its over so might as well secure this one kill. That's legit, its not optimal but its legit.

Understanding that I'm not responsible for your fun, just as you are not responsible for mine is different from not giving F about other people's experience. While being chased for those five minutes did you stop and think "this has gone on for a while I should stop and let this killer hook me so we can both have a positive game experience" Of course you didn't and nor should you. But expecting them to do the same for you really is silly.

If you disagree great you're allowed to but I tell you the game experience will be crappy if you expect people to play your way all the time and then rage when they don't.

Camping ruins the games experience for others. I see no difference. Dont dictate how I play.

  • @Unfun_Tunnel said:

This is a message to all survivor mains out there. I don't want to argue, I have just one request. Considering how unbalanced this game is and the very little time required to do gens, tunneling is necessary and it's the most effective strategy. Give me one good reason not to tunnel, I'll wait. (No "because it's not fun" accepted, genrush isn't fun to go against too)

Sounds like the game is just not fun. So why are we playing?

  • @LinkOfSerevillon said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1467702#Comment_1467702

Well I'm not able to learn much when I have to wait 15 minutes for a game.

I've tried and ive been most succesful and have the most fun when I camp.

I didn't ask for pity and don't particularly care. I'm simply stating that this is what I'm going to do because people like to say camping isnt fun for survivor and neither is waiting ages for a game for survivors to taunt at the exit gates and trash talk in the end game chat.

Maybe if queue times were lower I would devote some time to trying and learning to play without having to camp, but as it is I only really play 1 or 2 games a day and im not going back to the days where I would walk out with 0 kills for it.

You don't want to lose after waiting 15 minutes for a game...seems over exaggerated but ok sure. Well I dont want to wait for a game only to get in one, then get chased for 3 to 5 minutes straight and be face camped by a scrub who lacks the skill to actually play the game.

  • @pseudechis said:

The fact that people feel the need to explain and apologize for playing a game really says a lot about the toxic response and expectation heaped on other players. You have nothing to say sorry for. Play the way you want to play and have fun.

Well I could hack the game. You can piss off if you want to tell me that's wrong. I paid for the game right? Who gives a ######### about the experience others are having.

  • @LinkOfSerevillon said:

Rather I'm a returning player. I see a lot of people talking about how no one wants to play killer yet, when I queue as a killer i'm in queue for almost 15 minutes. I'm particularly bad at killer and I get lucky if I can even manage to get 1 kill.

My best killer is hillbilly but thats because hes super easy and the one shot plus mobility is awesome so I'm sad hes getting nerfed :(.

Not to mention I can camp the hook with the chainsaw.

And thats another thing, I used to never camp because I didnt like it as a survivor, but the problem is that if I'm going to wait 15 minutes for a game to get not a single kill, yeah thats not fun for me. I'll hit people and hook them but I wont get a kill and then everyone escapes.

Then when I didnt camp survivors would talk about how bad I was for not getting a kill but they do the same thing when I do camp.

So yes, I'm bad and if I manage to hook someone, I'm going to camp the hook until I get better playing as a killer. Its not fun for survivors but its also not fun to wait 15 minutes for a game and not be able to kill anyone and barely get bloodpoints compared to instantly getting into games as a survivor.

My ideal perk build for killer is

    Hex: No one escapes Death

    Hex: Haunted Ground

    Make your Choice

    Iron Maiden

The only one I have so far is No one escapes death, but as you can tell they are all perks so that I can oneshot and have a chance to hook and hopefully kill. Information perks dont work for me since I still have to hit them twice which is why I love playing Billy, Myers, and Ghostface.

So basically, I'm not sorry that I have to camp and I get more bloodpoints when I do since I get more for that one kill than I would by not camping and having everyone escape. And even if that werent the case I would still have to camp since its not fun to wait ages to get into a game have everyone escape and then have to wait even longer because the survivors wont leave.

I refuse to go to the exit gates since they just go there to taunt at the end and I dont want to give them the satisfaction.

I thought killer queue was only long because of the event but it turns out playing killer is actually pretty popular. It makes sense, because just like in an FPS way more people want to play damage than a healer.

I want to have fun, and its fun knowing that I killed someone no matter the tactic. Its not fun feeling useless and almost like im playing survivor myself.

You will never get better by using a crutch like camping. All you are doing is ruining games for others and keeping yourself in garbage tier.

  • @Awakey said:

    Welcome to the efficiency club.

  • @PlaysByShady said:

I remember, way back in the day, I once complained to a killer that literally face-camped me that it was poor game-play from him. His response was one that stuck with me: "punish it by doing gens".

I try to be a "fair" killer. I'm decent (Rank 1) with Spirit & Pyramid Head, but less so with other killers. And I like variety. I like to play Nurse, Doctor, Hag, etc, etc. Of course, the way the current match-making is set up is that (currently) I have to go against red ranks regardless of what killer I play, which means when I play any of the other killers, I'm at a severe disadvantage.

When you mix that with SWF depip squads with object and stretched rez, etc, who insist on gloating and hurling abuse at you in the end-game chat, it makes me wonder "why do I bother? I don't play the game to be made to feel bad."

I know many have gone through this, and often quit the game entirely. But my attitude switched.

No longer will I now be "fair", and give survivors a chance under the assumption that they'll be decent, etc. Now I'm gonna unleash the full power of any/every killer I play.

Yes, I'm gonna camp the hook. There's 3 other healthy survivors around, leave the gen and try to rescue if you can. The odds are in your favour. Severely in your favour. But it means you're not doing objectives, and I'm finding that more often than not, these SWF can't cope with this. They cannot reconcile having to choose between letting their team-mate die on hook for the sake of the gens, and not being given a free save. They get confused, and they make mistakes, which I capitalise on.

Sure, I still get the accusations of camping and tunnelling... but this time they're warranted (instead of being arbitrary excuses), and I don't care. They all died, I "win".

And when they call me a "noob", I point out that this "noob" just 4K'd them all... so what does that make them? Lol.

If you don't like the camping, punish it by doing gens.

And don't forget the totems too... I could be running NOED.

Gone are the days of Mr Nice/Fair Killer. SWF have had their run for too long, and I'm tired of being the punching bag. I'm fighting back, and I urge other killers to do the same.

SWF need to learn they don't control the rules of the game, they're not the power position, the killers are! We've been shamed into playing by their rules... since when do the lamb dictate to the lions how to hunt?

My strategy is to put pressure on you, SWF groups... let's see how you cope with that with all your t-bagging, clicking, etc. Doesn't look like it's working too well for you so far :D

    Uninstall the game.

I hear you. I'm a solo player and there are definitely some issues here and there.

So overall, how happy would YOU be if the game added a overall time limit per match? Say... Make it 20 or 30 mins. Long enough to build suspense but prevents survivors from doing nothing but hiding? This seems like it woild be a quick fix.

I was thinking a time limit on how long gens can go without being touched. Like a 10 minute timer and if gens are not touched its instant sacrifice. Then a 25% increase for gen repairs if the killer camps, that or no BP for the sacrifice.

Dude, I am sorry you feel this way.

But swfing with My wife and Daughters and having some Bourbon on a Friday night, all laughing and just having a fun time, is not a waste in my book.

Also if it is as bad as you say, I don't want that perspective. I just enjoy the family time, and time with friends.

SWF explains alot. Play solo or with just one other friend, wait in que for 5 minutes, then getting face camped is a miserable experience. I'm glad you have fun with the game but that does not change the fact that there are severe issues with the game that must be addressed. There is a fun game here, it's why I keep coming back even though it's usually short lived, but the severity of the issues at times outweigh that fun.

If you are playing to win, which I am, tunneling makes sense. By removing a link, you are making the rest of the survivors do more work, which makes patrolling gens more succesful. By tunneling someone out of the match you are making mid to late game much easier. I don't think it's the nicest strategy, but if you play to win that isn't an issue. I guarantee that person you refused to tunnel isn't going to care if you have fun, they want to win as well. It's a free for all. That's why I'm ok with scummy tactics on both sides. And I never play survivor. If you want to bodyblock, flashlight spam, or the like go ahead. We're all trying to win in the end.

It's not wrong but not right either. If ots a SWF sure. If not then this is not necessary at all. You can have respect for the other side and provide a fun experience while still achieving that 4k if you wish. If you still tunnel or face camp a non SWF you need to admit to yourself that you are using these tactics as a crutch and you need to stop relying on them.

I love the game because I do. We as individuals can all have different views on things and what we enjoy. I enjoy the challenge of 4king at red ranks. And I enjoy swfing with my wife and daughters.

I also don't play a lot of video games, in fact the last one was Dead Island on PS3. It takes a lot to get me into video games to begin with.

Do I like all the play styles some people use, no. But I respect their right to do so. I used to rage about these things, now I just use it as an opportunity to get better.

Very few things in life, if any, are perfect. But this game allows me to hang out and game with my family and friends, and presents a challenge, that I enjoy.

It's not a play style. It's abusing poor game design. Poor game design that has not been fixed for over 4 years. It is not fun, it does not respect your time. The game has moments of brilliant fun but those moments are not worth it when the majority of your time is sifting through the #########.

If you dont play many games and still love this game you either need to play other games to gain some perspective on what a good game is like or you are a true masochist who enjoys the agony.

Don't need to? Are you awake there? It is SIMPLE math. If you walk somewhere it takes twice as long as running.

Once you know who the killer is, you know whether you will hear a terror radius or not. If there is an audible terror radius, you can sprint until you hear it. If it's a stealth killer, you can be a bit more selective.

Again, when you are all dead with 1 gen left, use that time to reflect on whether you would have escaped if people had actually run when they could.

Lmfao, stop running when you hear the terror radius, the killer sees your scratches immediately and you start running again. I bet you run bond just to bring him to others right? Yeah. You are one of those.

No, that's you not being able to adapt to what the game has to offer. You might have buyers remorse, but you won't get a refund, so if it's really that bad for you, delete it.

Honestly I don't know what you expect, the killer to not be able to play the game at all? There's no situation where a killer shouldn't secure a hook? He's already penalized by the fact he loses emblem AND BP for camping, which means if your a survivor, to go into the game knowing you could basically immediately unhook, preying on the killers desire not to lose either points.

What if the survivor is in the middle of a 3 gen? What if multiple scratch marks are going to the hook? What if it's endgame?

And likewise for the tunnel claims, first off am I supposed to guess if you're playing SWF now? Because if you are, I'm not going to let you unhook right behind my back, I'm punishing the unhooked in some way, as well as the unhooked if I can but in a SWF it will often throttle then more if you go for the "tunnel" as they think you'll be nice enough to let them slam dunk on you while playing by their rules.

The whole state of this game is pretty much Jank. Loops were made possible because a decision was made to make the pill shaped hurtbox of survivors smaller and tighter than killers, with no regards as to how that would affect certain loops, thus infinites were an initial part of the game. it was only when they played with their formula and saw how others played their game that looping became a full on mechanic rather than hiding and using pallets exclusively to break/end chases.

In other words, it is a poorly designed game. But it's a very popular, very addicting game too. If it's too much, there will always be others to play it in your absence, so just decide if you're gonna delete it or if the jank is too much for you.

I can play killer just fine without camping or tunneling. Admit you need to use it as a crutch and move on. And I'm not talking about seeing scratch marks leading to the hook or you just happen to find the guy who got off the hook. I'm talking about obvious face cramps and obvious tunneling where the killer waits a safe distance for the unhook then makes a beeline for the unhooked survivor ignoring everyone and everything around him.

Or since I want to love this game and have spent my money on it I should, and you should, and anyone else who spent money on this ######### show should demand a better product. These are easy fixes that remain after 4 years. That is inexcusable.

I always know when I'm facing a SWF. Just admit you camp as a crutch because you lack the skill to play without it. And yeah I have buyers remorse for a poorly designed game. 4 years and these things still persist. A game that does not respect your time and calls these unfun time wasters part of the game is in fact poor game design. Campers should receive a penalty like zero BP for the sacrifice or a 25% gen repair speed bonus for survivors. Same thing with survivors holding the game hostage when they get 3 gen and hide for an hour stalemate after 20 minutes with no gems being touched they should be insta sacrificed. ######### like this still in the game after 4 years is inexcusable.

Yeah, 'cause playing the game with 1 person doing a gen, 1 person being chased and one person traversing the biggest maps in the game by walking is pretty much a win right? We can really see a SB user from miles away, always trying to justify walking around the map.

I never see this. I do, however, see a large majority of people sprinting everywhere when they dont need to.

I am not saying it is not a dirtbag move. I'm just saying it is part of the game.

Same with tunneling ebonies, face camping LF, DS locker BS, Heal Tech at the gates and all that BS.

It is the game we love, why whine about it? Search and destroy, is it harder, sure.

But you can find them and kill them.

You say it's a dirtbag move and name other things that are complete bullshit in this game and say you love the game.

    Why?

It sounds like alot of poor game design to me with very little being done to rectify this fact.

DBD can be fun, but face camping is not fun, hour long standoffs are not fun, tunneling is not fun, gen rush is not fun but it's part of the game people say. You sit in a long que only to play the game for 5 minutes before being face camped, gen rushed, or tunnled or stuck in an hour long or more game of chicken. So on top of not being fun these very same things waste your damn time. A good game respects the players time.

Whenever this ######### happens after 4 ######### years it's like the devs are giving you the finger through your monitor.

"Here is a mechanic that is not fun and wastes your time. We will not fix it this is just part of the game. Here is our newest DLC now pay us and ######### you."

Dont get me wrong, I'm sure the devs are wonderful people, and I want to love this game. But these things prevent me from doing do. I take a break then come back and remember why i left. I could be playing something much more enjoyable.

People who save sprint burst and walk all game are part of the reason why rank is meaningless

hiding and surviving =/= high skill

Holding W and sprinting past teamates to get them killed =/= High skill

  • There are much better perks Spirit could be using Instead and by all the time you mean when someone's favorite youtuber uses it. Then they might use it until they stop seeing results then take it off again.

Why do people think calm spirit only counters doctor? It counters infectious, which is one of the best killer perks in the game, and allows you to pull off some good jukes when you're hit.

Ok and it counters a perk that you MIGHT see once in every 100+ matches.

  • Ah yes mixed them up. A single perk slot for a single killer. I doubt that will catch on when there are much better perks that are universal that people could take.

So then you use the Doctor's counters like you're supposed to. No strategy should work perfectly all the time.

You mean the single counter iron will.

  • @blue4zion said:

There really should be more killers like this, so I'm happy to see it.

However, they really should buff stealth. I think it might get buffed when the new graphics are out, but if only by a little bit. Not sure how they could do this other than make more little hiding spots, better grass/bushes, and maybe something new to hide in like a barrel.

Stealth is useless. People will just play Doctor even more, what's the point?

Let me guess? A sprint burst fan? LOL.

No I don't do that. However, if I'm in a chase and the chase ends up near a gen someone is working accidentally, oh well. Chase takes priority. Anyone working a gen near a terror radius needs to be prepared to get away (or for you with Sprint Burst, walk away slowly lol).

Not in a chase, just because you gotta go fast. Thanks for the confirmation.

Most people play both sides. The difference isn't in people deciding to play how you want, or that some folks don't understand both sides, but simply not everyone cries and bitches about getting camped because bat a certain point you've come to realize (and most don't even get it after 3,000 hours) that camping, tunneling, that's literally all apart of the experience and there's nothing to be done about it.

Shaming others into not doing what's most optimal in the moment is the laziest, scrubbiest tactic I've ever seen in video gaming. It's akin to people crying about spamming in fighters, but I have a feeling most people here would confuse mindless spam with calculated zoning anyway.

Lmao, that's ######### game design then. It is the complete opposite of fun and a complete waste of time. If you camp you are an #########...period.

Dont forget that Matt Cote said "face camping is okay just do something else"

It's just not fun to be face camped. I dont get it. When I play killer I never face camp. Hell sometimes I let people go on purpose because I feel bad for even tunneling. Unless that survivor is asking for it or I have a SWF gen rush squad but even then its more like i have 3 gen strat with them hooked in the middle of those 3 gens, I'm still not camping but it is near my patrol.

The curse of playing both sides.

  • @bigbucks76 said:

    It hurts

Yesterday most of my matches had straight up face camp killers. Idk why but it seems to be a trend as of late. What makes matters worse is that potatoe survivors reward this behavior by trying to save instead of doing gens.

  • I agree actually, but many people liked the original and the amount of player input is not a good excuse for the change seeing that there are many useful things in the game that require little to no player input to achieve good results.

Name it? As far as I know you need to land shock on survivor?

    How difficult

  • @Maperson said:

Why would they? PGTW rewards good plays, devs said they nerfed ruin bcs it did a lot without killer doing anything

By that logic they should nerf the doctor. 3/4 his kit does everything for you.

Easy to say when that time they spent walking could have meant the difference between escaping or not. I've seen a lot of games with SB runners come down to 1 gen or a hook save end up in multiple downs because they took too long.

And I have seen jackass survivors get others killed by sprinting everywhere.

  • I bet you are one of those super useful survivors that leaves scratch marks right past the gen someone else is working on.

Part 2 yesterday i did reactions to bloodwarden and this was another mentioned perk so i thought id do it as well. You've done totems and gens (or so you think you've hit all the totems) the killers smacks you once and your instantly down with noed on the side of your screen. How do you respond?

    Oh cool... another noed
