Monstrous Shrine. Despite it being so wellknown for being crap, I actually forgot about it for a few months till the Scourge hooks came in, where ppl suggested a buff with MS being a scourge.
Seriously, imagine having a reduced chance to escape the hook (bigger than the base chance to escape) and still have a survivor kobe. Thats how bad this perks is
-
It's a bad map that need a rework for sure, but I don't think giving up everytime is the way to go.
-
Thank god, I hated the limited codes. Especially ones you had to watch streams for, I don't have the time for streams and almost never watch them in the first place.
-
Guys you aren't getting what he means, hes talking for challenge progression. Not making them work with perks.
CAGES NEED TO COUNT TOWARDS HOOK CHALLENGES
It's likely the perks come from the same code trying to determine when there's a hook made.

Well she had directional phasing sounds on release and everyone said she sucked. Even that stream who makes up part of the DBD power couple made a video complaining about how bad she was….then he started a 2 year long hate campaign to get her nerfed after he lost a few survivor games. Its funny how thats now considered balance, you can tell who the new players are.
Seriously this tho
I tried saying so many times she was not weak, she's strong and in a good spot, then they buffed her a few times.
lol, if only more people were open and listened we might not have had this mess for as long as we did.
-
I'm happy with about everything with her changes, besides a few addons.
The window blocking and mother's glasses are awful. Mother's glasses downside is too much for such a small range and the window blocking is too short to ever be useful to her.
I can't decide on the "blink back" addon. This sounds awfully situational, not many survivors stay in loops with spirit/ run straight back to her husk.
-
Love upcoming trapper changes, all but the new Sack,
That downside of not being able to pick up bear traps feels like a bit much. But, guess it could be used for some certain playstyles
-
Yeah, now the survivors get to be brainless and both see and hear where she is.
ofc

Didn't think about rebuilding totems! That's gotta be it. But damn... survivors are already strong. I can't imagine it being a valuable time investment versus working on a gen.
Yep, extremely worried for this new system. Hopefully more changes to suit it because its gonna hurt killers really bad to have to also go break them in the current state.
-
They likely figured from the early feedback that not many want the full outfit, some just want the hair, some despise the hair but not the suit.
Ez win for them= link it

At the beginning of the match, all 5 totems will be occupied, meaning that no boon can exist until at least one is cleansed. So, say the killer does a damn fine job, and prevents any survivors from cleansing any totems. No boon will ever be allowed on the board, ergo my point stands.
Well, its constantly tossed around about a survivor rebuilding a totem into a boon. So, break the dull or lit totem then create a boon.
If a killer just defends all the totems constantly, then well ignore your boon and gen rush, ez win.
This keeps the normal number of totems in the match as well as making it take some time for a survivor to put up.
-
It's sad.
She's getting the chopping block by another sloppy butcher.
Both of those are unnecessary, should be either directional phasing or footsteps. NOT BOTH
-
I can live with the awful perk changes, but they need to chose one or the other for her phase tells.
FOOTSTEPS OR DIRECTIONAL PHASING
WHY BOTH!?
-
Yes it was needed but both directional and visible footsteps is too much.
ONE OR THE OTHER
-
They've got this for mobile, and it seems their working their way into base dbd hopefully.
Please, I want this too.
-
Idk, my survivor games have been 50/50 for teammates and I've gotten really bad killers too much.
For killer though, no matter who I use it's an insane sweat fest. Maybe that where I should be, but I thought killers were suppose to have individual mmr, yet pin and neme who I didn't use prior had the same sweaty matches.
Literally 0 fun trying to learn these guys, missed out on neme because the performance made me take a break.
-
@ThiccBudhha said:
For fun. And individual killer mmr is not a lie.
Really? All my killers, including neme and pin head who I didn't play prior, have the same insane sweaty survivors.
Should be easy at first, but it's not.
-
And as killer should show how op survivors are.
Nothing but the most top notch, competent, (prob streched res) unmind gameable survivors.
Nerf pig.
-
Please! I'm tired of ppl getting away with it, it's been too long already.
Love these ideas, simple and effective.
-
It's better than using all the loops side by side, potentially wasting all pallets in an area and creating quick deadzones.
No to mention, as you said, killer must catch up.
Sorry, want me to stand and wait for you at the next one?

"I can't be alone either."
And you are not.
He was my main from the day I started playing to the day he got reworked, and being helpless to stop a gen from getting done right in your face was not pleasant. At all.
However, that could have been easily solved without a full rework. I've actually suggested something before:
-During the Dream Transition Survivors can see The Nightmare intermittently and they suffer from the Incapacitated status effect.
This was something that I've been suggesting in my concept for a Freddy rework. Just because we want him back, and rightfully so, doesn't mean his weaknesses will not be addressed.
This I can get by, his old power brought back but with tweaks to fix the issues.

I’ve heard a lot of people say that he was a fun and unique killer for both sides. Especially @GeneralV who is the best Freddy main I know.
He was unique, and ofc theres going to be that few that enjoy it, but the general feel was negative for him.
Again, it was silly to sit there and watch a survivor do objectives while you wait and I never want that back. I can't be alone either.

We don’t know the reason, which is precisely why most think it’s a legal thing. If it was a bug, it wouldn’t have been mentioned as an intentional patch note.
This 100%, there's no reason they should be so vague with us unless the license has something to do with it.
-
It's time to git gud

@GannTM said:
They should bring back old Freddy, back before his major rework in July 2019. I wasn’t around back then but his power looked so interesting and unique when I watched gameplay of him even though he wasn’t strong at all.
Yeah but he wasn't fun for either side, especially newer survivors struggled and as killer sitting there watching your totem get cleansed while they fell asleep was the worst.

No. Like I said, they will act as normal. It will be as if the DLC was never removed.
Thanks, act as normal just sounded progression wise.
-
It's probably just all stuns in general, where you seemed to hit her first but the server read it as stunned first.
Edit: also wanna clarify that this is not a bug, its intentional by the devs.

My absolute personal favourite DBD video <3
Flashlights were apparently fine before this game happened then shortly after got nerfed :)
They were NOT fine, but they definitely seemed to change em pretty quick after this lmao

As has been answered about 60 times, no you keep all characters and cosmetics if you own them. If you own the characters, teachables will act as normal. If you do not they become generic perks.
"teachables will act as normal"
Still unclear about this,
If you own the characters, will your perk icons/names change?
-
Nope, should keep all characters and cosmetics.
Only thing im unsure of is the perks, if the people who already own them keep the originals, or if everyone will have the changed perk icons/names.

because of stuff like this

Nea for some reason had stuff like that happening to her. which lead to the "Nea is a killer" joke.
then, saminations came along and pushed the joke further by saying she was the entity itself.
everyone saying it was because she is ugly. chill tf out
It is tho, it was said even before what you talked about,
ugly/scary face- Entity

Do you have any idea why he's saying what he's saying? Like any?
Many times he said bullshit things killers shouldn't have, and if most of the things that get said are buffs to certain killers...well it's just because the game in not balanced for them, and have little map pressure with their ability
I've heard enough garbage from him so im not totally interested.
-
Rest are fairly easy and straight forward for me, but Pinhead requires the accuracy I do not have.
-
Lol, he wants swf tells. - this the type of thing that shows his killer sided mind
Bring back seeing survivor level, or even show mmr.
For sure wont cause lobby dodge infestation xD
-
Possibly, my killer rank has been really low due to barely playing, and MMR is actually making me face what I should've been the whole time.
Sweaty, unmindgameable, hard to read survivors. It's stressful, but saying this is a reason to say it's bad is wrong. I think a lot of people just got used to the easy games from poor matchmaking, I did.

I wouldn't call teabagging juvenile behavior but sure 😂.
It is, but eyy

Well, with new hit validation pallets needed a nerf. This isin't even major compared to what they could've done, if they bring it back then also remove the hit validation.
-
Oh yeah, Lery's is my favorite map as survivor and so is that entire room.
-
Logically, the map size is not okay. It sucks to lose something you may like, I get that, but this is old swamp map x2.
Not good for the game, it has to be split up and made into variations.

See, I get this logic however we have to remember that the person with DS doesn't have to do this; it's an optional objective.
If a survivor with DS intentionally tries to solve rather than holding it, knowing they have DS, it should be deactivated. Especially if they're healthy, which this person was.
Mending, Snapping Out, Saw boxes are all non-optional objectives, and one of them you need to do within chase just to avoid being blinded by how dark the screen goes.
I think it'll just be best to pay attention to the hooks, if a possible ds user is doing the box just let them, not a huuge deal.
-
Hopefully its at least getting split up, there were rumors of finding files to multiple rpd maps recently.
-
Yeah, you need to stop running if you're throwing a pallet on the same side.
-
First game, my teammates hid a lot and let 2 of the team get to 2nd hook stage first hook, since then my teammates have actually been half decent.
I'm so far impressed but too early to say
-

What if I equipped Deadlock + Corrupt Intervention and just... Ignored the generators? If I focus strictly on finding & downing survivors as quickly as possible and never kick a gen, would the time those perks buy for me actually be enough to have a good winrate? What about vs SWF?
Maybe, I like to do builds similar to this idea, I actually would use either corrupt or ruin with thana and just focus solely on survivors, surge works too.
Or even, I'll put on only chase perks and try and kill them off quickly.
Btw, this play style feels nice most of the time because the weight of caring about gens is pretty rough, especially if you worried about one hecka far away or somethin.
-
Its so frequent, my noob self legit thought it was intentional and I would (and still to this day when possible) stay on a gen till I get a skill check.
Don't swap from/to a toolbox without a skill check first either.
