Don't search for totems on their own, look around as you head to gens/unhooks/etc, remember them for later, do them if noed activates or if you have a little down time (ie 4 gens done, noone dead or even injured)
-
Doesnt it suck when noone will listen to you?
I screamed about Spirit being strong back on her release and they buffed her so unnecessarily because everyone though otherwise.
Hope the community likes what they got now xD
-
I'm not sure what to do with traps, but I think Pig should get something for her Sneak Attack, it's really not that great besides sometimes being better than just standing up to M1.
The trick to use it at a loop does not work, if you pay attention. The second you see/hear her crouch, leave the loop. Takes long enough for her to finish and get back up to actually do anything, and won't reach if she does charge.
My simple idea is to allow her to cancel crouching if not fully down yet.
-
I don't wanna sound rude here, but take this as a chance to not use it. Really removing possibilities for yourself being stuck on a perk like that.
It feels so good, but it's not necessary

Good... the voice actor didn't do a very good job and the I CAME part probably upset people that own the character. I would be upset too. Pinhead saying those specific words "I CAME" never happens in lore... The correct line is "WE CAME" assuming there are multiple Cenobites. So if it is just Pinhead don't create new phrases that he has never spoken before. Thanks. Glad it is gone. Now we just need the basement colors to be blue when Pinhead is the killer. :)
Yes because We came makes sense when it's just him.
-
Maybe I'm being hopeful here, but if there were really just issues that could be fixed, maybe it's the Legendary Cosmetic that's also getting lines but broke them in the process.

He feels worse than Freddy to me. You have to stop doing gens or else you can't do gens. He gets to know your location for free and teleports to you, and he can shut down loops entirely by pressing a button. Exhaustion perks and pallets are irrelevant because you have to avoid the player and the hooks that immobilize you.
But I'm glad they devs made another chapter solely for killers that ruins the game for solo survivors. Honestly, this could be the last straw that makes me delete the game entirely. It's just not fun to play as a solo survivor anymore.
Just don't go for the box unless you're next to it, or in other dire situations. Assume others are, and the chain hunts on gens aren't that awful, it's no worse then when people used to tap gens.
-
My issue is if the killers do have to break them, that's ridiculous.
-
He's still cool to look at, especially animations, but my first round felt like it was empty in some way, this was before I realized the voice was gone.
So yeah, kinda
-
Also curious, did you link your DBD with a BHVR account?
-
Seriously, with the amount of effort and limited items in the game, not to mention money you'll sink into cosmetics, their support of offering bloodpoints is meaningless.
500 Billion bloodpoints wouldn't even cover a 1000+ hour account imo.
They need to also give Auric cells, at the least.
-
If he didn't have the annoyance of chains with the box, he wouldn't have much.
-
At least let us know if it is just a current issue and will come back.
-
I hope not, but it's possible its a target of optimization, changed to help our current issues.
Total guess though
-
Can we get an answer on if it will come back please? I knew something was missing.
-
Am gay.
Me too, the amount of rainbows i have to see in the game is too much
-
I'd say it's a lot harder for a clown to activate this, it's pretty easy to make him miss even when holding it in your face if you run around erratically, actually kinda rare I get hit with it.
Also it's generally smart to always assume he's got it unless you know for sure and never let the bottles hit you
-
No ty, I wanna keep all my relics :')
-
I'm so glad someone finally made this, I cannot stand the people who try and defend it, serious minus rep to them.

Bud, I'm in red ranks (as Killer) and still climbing. This game is extremely piss easy when you apply yourself.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2471887#Comment_2471887
I'm going to just be sandbagging as Killer to just fool around with Survivors that I'm way out of the league of because I enjoy messing around with people rather than actually thinking, "Oh, I'll try."
Let me tell you a little something; getting to red ranks has actually shown me that I don't like playing competitively; I ultimately will have to because I'm stuck doing that, but I want to play a game for the fun. There's no fun in getting RNG'd by maps, having Survivors take you to maps that are clearly survivor-sided and eventually just making games last 30+ minutes because they 3 Genned near two up-close totems and I decided to be a dick and extended the game out that long.
I want as enjoyable an experience as I can get, and there's zero way playing competitively would suit my preferences.
So option is go against less experienced for the ggez/ "mess around"
lame

Huntress is super fun to play againt imo, trickster is a solid ight, but I hate death slingers.
Psh, wanna talk no counter play lets talk instant ads

It was going downhill HARD around 2018-2019. Current dbd is going uphill by a landslide, as much as we are allowed to hate on this game its in a good place right now, and the devs are trying hard to make it better. Things can always get worse sure, but the trend right now is leaning towards a better future for dbd. Maybe a less content full future, but nontheless a better future.
Yeah breaking almost all versions of the game is a "good place"

Killer had noed. They spent a lot of time looking for a totem while I was slugged then hooked. Clicky clicky laurie opened the 99'd door for no reason whatsoever. Killer was not near at all.
And you know what steve did after they cleansed noed? He was healing sloppied meg until I died. They started running towards me basically 2 seconds from death. Can they see the meter? Clicky clicky just clicked without attempting to save me.
I mean why not just leave? What was the point of this?
Sounds almost like they either didn't pay attention to your health (bad teammate for sure in that case) or they didn't actually intend to save you but wanted to make it appear as they would.
With the latter, maybe they would have if they found the noed a lot sooner but who knows.
-
No, but it's odd that it has the same rarity of the Bound Envelope.
-
I always miss removed/changed things in games unless they made them unplayable.
A lot of dbd changes have been for the better, but I will forever miss old animations, offerings, maps, pallet variations, pink/brown perks, etc.

I swear, it's nothing but slugging killers ad nauseum until you build for it.. Add any slugging perks and then suddenly, every killer is picking you as fast as possible.
This is my problem 100%
I don't rarely use unbreakable for this same reason either.
-
I like the gearhead idea, but it might be a bit much comparing to others, it should stay as is with buffed duration, and both skillchecks.
-
I thought we were gonna talk about the lag, cause the lag to make me miss/lose a survivor or as survivor flipped around/frozen in spot sure as heck makes me feel like a loser.
I seem bad every game now, bring op stuff to make up for it

Some Definitions
----------------
Face Camping: When a killer stands within M1 distance of a hooked survivor till they die on hook or are rescued allowing the killer to place the same survivor right back on hook.
Proxy Camping/Tunneling: When a killer hooks a survivor and stays within about 32 meters or less of the survivor, so that the moment that survivor is unhooked, they can go immediately back to that survivor and hook them immediately, ignoring all other teammates.
The Developers Responsibility
-----------------------------
The 1st responsibility of Developers in any game is to make the game playable for all players.
Why the Developers Need to Focus on Face Camping and Proxy Camping/Tunneling
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. First and foremost, Face Camping and Proxy Camping/Tunneling allows one player to completely prevent another player from playing the game they bought from the developers.
2. Face Camping and Proxy Camping/Tunneling is considered by the majority of players, the most toxic behavior currently in the game. About the only players that don’t consider it toxic are players that face camp or proxy camp/tunnel. Other toxic behaviors have been addressed, such as DCing and racial slurs, this is currently the biggest offender of toxic behavior by far.
3. Extremely Low Skill, Extremely High Reward: Every killer player learns and masters these techniques in brown and yellow ranks. Killer players master this tactic even before they master the killers main power. However, the reward of using this low-skill tactic is rewarded far more than almost every other tactic in the game. It allows you to completely remove a player from the game within a minute or two, sometimes less.
4. The 3 and 3 Ratio: The games tipping point, where a Killer player “wins” the game is usually around 3 survivors and 3 unworked gens. This game play mechanic is a problem for Survivor players because Face Camping and Proxy Camping/Tunneling allows a Killer player to “win” the game by using an extremely low-skill tactic to immediately eliminate a player. But the 3 and 3 ratio also causing a massive problem for Killers, because the developers have to make gen speeds extremely fast, so survivors can get below 3 gens before face camping or proxy camping/tunneling removes a survivor player from the game. If face camping or proxy camping/tunneling was addressed by the developers then gen speeds could also be addressed by the developers. It’s a catch-22.
What have the Developers tried to do to fix this
------------------------------------------------
1. Perks: Borrowed Time and Decisive Strike. Using perks to fix this problem has not worked and will not work. First, solo survivors are very limited on what perks they can choose, so requiring an anti-tunnel/camping perk for solo survivors handicaps them. Second, a determined killer won’t be phased by either one of these perks. Third, perks like these are easily abused by survivors if they are strong enough to prevent tunneling/camping yet are worthless to survivors if they are two weak. Which is currently what is happening
2. Pausing the struggle timer: This was a step in the right direction, because it didn’t handicap solo survivors and also addressed camping/tunneling as a whole for every player. However it was abused by survivor players because the rules were for pausing the hook timer were so generalized that it didn’t account for survivors running the killer around the hooked survivor.
3. Unfortunately, the developers didn’t attempt to refine the rules for pausing the struggle timer to account for exploits and seemed to give up on trying to address this problem. Nor did the developers attempt another fix.
They did address it, they said it's fine.
Not to mention, the killer will be negatively impacting themselves point wise while doing these, and camping too early can easily be punished by a decent team.
-
Spirit's design, and the power to secretly leave your body. I've wanted a power like this for awhile.
-
Sorry, but if they're killing themselves on first hook then I likely don't care already what they do next since losing the game already is gonna be much more likely.
It's my way of saying get bent, thanks for ruining my game, you get to stay longer. :)
-
A friend of mine has quit dbd for good, because of Nemesis, mostly the zombies. She claims he's completely broken and unfair.
-
Normally, no, play how you want.
But pls not rn because you're gonna freeze every console player everytime you use it :(
-

Yeah not fair for a Jeff main like me
Jeff overall gets minimal outfits, it sucks it's based on how much they're played.
-
Would love that, as well as some more variations of realms that lack em.
-
Kinda really need a rush on this, especially with how poorly the console is running and will continue to run on Pinhead release.
-
I wouldn't be even slightly surprised if they removed the activation with the box/ any other killer related items
-
This^
@ppl who call the good stuff "Boring" lol
-
The fact that it still won't be fixed at Pinhead's release is insanity.
I used to disagree with people who say we need to just make a "game health" chapter instead of actually releasing new content, but now we need it more than ever.
3 Months? 3 Months and they've still yet to locate and fix the issues. WHY?
They need to take most or even all of the dev team that is working on new content and put that power into finding and fixing the issues.
I'm not gonna complain about the cosmetics since its a very different team, but anyone else who can work on the game needs to help with this.
-
Not really, because sometimes I find getting the same realm/map over and over randomly is boring.
-
Heard the same as above, Hope this happens

Just want to clear up a misconception here. Demo will still have bug/balance fixes as necessary, we will continue to support the characters in our game.
That's awesome to hear! I was super worried thank you!!!
-
I hope this is fixed before they can't touch him...
-
Only thing I wanna point out is the pallet part.
It is super odd they changed them, after already making them better. They're worse now imo
-
Then I'd say, he's greatly designed.
Job well done!

My concern isn't so much the use of a controller but the performance and framerate issues many of us console players suffer from. For example, I currently have difficulty using Pyramid Head's ranged attack, which causes performance issues.
Yeah, this.
I still haven't even gotten to have a fair try at playing Nemesis, it's the first killer in a long time I didn't play all the time for several days after release. I always want to get a feel for them, and can't when the game is robbing me of chases anyways. I won't play Pinhead either if it's still bad.
When I do play killer I have to use the most boring and sweaty crap to make up for it and it feels so bad.
-
He's definitely one of my favorites to face, it's gonna suck losing him over time.
-
I think he's actually alright. Feels like his base has enough, with some actually decent and fun addons to go on top.
-
I don't, and didn't plan on it.
But I simply am very bothered by both things getting removed, and missing out on something permanently in games.
So i'll be getting it as well as all the other cosmetics for all three.
-
I am still, but today really but a damper on my excitement for anything dbd.
Know it's not their fault, but I hate having things removed. I'm using the map every match possible till then.
