Pinheads voice, gone for good?

NemIsLive

MandyTalks says they can't comment further on it, meaning there's a liscensing issue.

Pinhead is voiceless forever?

Moxie

Likely. The running consensus is there were legal issues with it and BHVR is not going to risk a lawsuit.

GoshJosh

At least we have recorded PTB memories!

They probably aren't coming back:

Changes from PTB: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/294-5-2-0-hellraiser#:~:text=Changes%20from%20PTB,the%20audio%20files.

The Cenobite's voice over lines have been removed due to complications with the audio files.

If there is an error, that is fine.

So those voice lines will get re-enabled once to complications has been fixed, Right?

Will it get restored? I sure hope so, else it would be pretty bad.

EDIT:

Is it because you don't have any support for changing Power Voice Lines for Cosmetics? Since Pinhead comes with Chatterer and Chatterer dont speak. Is it because you could not find a way to disable the speech in time?

My guess is the license holder didn't like the jokes and said they had to take the audio out.

This is my belief as well. The fact that the mods won't say ANYTHING about it makes it clear its a legal issue.

The only reason, really.

IlliterateGenocide

its listed under changes from ptb, not know issues. so most likely permanent

blue4zion

Maybe I'm being hopeful here, but if there were really just issues that could be fixed, maybe it's the Legendary Cosmetic that's also getting lines but broke them in the process.

PigMainBigBrain

Dumb....they should have kept the line original to the movie and not swapped it around. At least the chatterer has his chompy teeth.

glitchboi

Yeah it feels kinda bland without his voice when teleporting, it just doesn't feel right.
