AGREED. I only see killers complaining honestly. Like I'm sorry, YOU'RE GOOD. So you should go against GOOD players who play LIKE YOU DO. So if you don't want to go against survivors who play like you do, DON'T PLAY HOW YOU DO.

They just want to be good and get players who shouldn't be going against them. I'm sorry but my rank 8-15 friends shouldn't be going against you as a red rank!

I mean there should be no reason survivors should complain except for being matched against the same top killers every game with the sweatiest build. But that is sort of their choice right? They played so sweaty that they will get paired with equally sweaty killers, which inherently means they are top tier killers with the best builds. Maybe survivors AND killers should start playing less sweaty if they dont want to see sweaty stuff every game. However, it's hard to convince people to play for fun these days and the game balance is also an issue.

Yeah, the survivor mains saying their teammates are awful in skill based matchmaking kind of make me cringe. It is like, bro... Whatever you are doing, its wrong. Fix it and your teammates will also fix their mistakes.

yeah in what world are good survivor players getting paired with bad ones with sbmm. it was like 4 solid survivors every sbmm game.

  • Oh look another thread about a strong killer. Nope can't have those in the game. I want to be able to afk for 5 minutes and never break a sweat playing survivor. His addons are easily one of the most fun things about him. They are actually good and not some meaningless garbage.

Not gonna lie I am surprised we never got a skin like this for Deathslinger since he reminds me of the Cowboy Ghost Rider in the Nicolas Cage movie.

Would gladly pay cash for this instantly since combines both of my favorite things which are Skulls and Cowboys.

    would be amazing.

  • because they chose to release pinhead first... idk? why does it matter?

  • @Bearded_Owl said:

I'm just curious as to why I am seeing this killer so often?

I'm also noticing a sudden upturn of all-seeing being used in most matches.

As someone who doesn't main wraith myself (Oni & Clown) I'm just wondering, why??

Reminds me of constantly seeing Freddie before the nerf!

it is the same as freddy. High mobility and simple chases. Wraith just happens to be flexible/simple to play right now.

  • I'm pretty sure tunneling/camping is just a byproduct of the horrible design of the game at higher ranks. Only so many killers can efficiently protect gens and get downs at the same time. Or it is an extremely stressful task that the majority can't be bothered with, so they resort in a less stressful playstyle through camping/tunneling.

  • I feel like it is pointless without an explanation. But, yes..

  • best case scenario- MMR shows devs how terrible gameplay is at higher ranks. And they get on top of fixing the issues and create a better game.

The game very clearly states and implies that the job of the Killer is to torture the survivors slowly and after they've been drained of all their hope then they deliver the killing blow. Like I said in the post that people obviously misunderstood, I don't care what you or anyone does in this game but stop oversimplifying the objective of the game. Yes, you need to kill the survivors but that's not the only objective.

I wouldn't equate "clearly states" as something obscurely found in the lore. Which I haven't even glimpsed at once.

  • @FrostySeal said:

Now before you comment, I acknowledge that tunneling and camping is a viable strategy. For the most part I don't really hold it against anyone who does it, but jeez this particular excuse has been getting on my nerves lately and that is "my objective is to kill the survivors." No, its not. The game very clearly states that the job of the Killer is to torture the survivors and after squeezing every last bit of hope they have then they can kill the survivors.

If your gonna tunnel and camp, go right on ahead, I don't care, do whatever you want but for the love of god stop using false information.

yeah I sure am "torturing survivors" when I see them all the way across the map doing a gen and know I can't reach it in time and they all sit at the exit gates and tbag after I so kindly left the hook to go "torture" them. lmao

  • @GoobyNugget said:

Is there any reason why people are hating on people for wanting Springtrap? Or people hating on people for wanting Pinhead? Calm down lmao. It's not that bad, I personally want Springtrap but i'm not attacking people who wish for another killer. If it's a killer you didn't want then just deal with it and wait for next reveal.

We are literally raising hell over this, maybe this was the devs plan.

    Sproigntrapseoiug 😭, GoobyNugget

yeah idk. very weird to me. But there are some people that hate on FNAF and their fanbase, but I couldn't care less about that. I really don't care what killer they bring as long as it is enjoyable to play.

  • nah gen speeds are fine :) just pressure the gens :)

  • I think this game needs a lot more depth to be a satisfying game to play. it's getting real old when the survivor meta is hold w and hold m1 the best you can. It is because the game lacks depth.

  • Trickster is still absolute garbage/unfun and Huntress is still better.

  • So Candyman isn't released yet because they haven't released the movie "Candyman" yet because of COVID and you think the devs are biased in not releasing him? Lmao. okay. And I would say Candyman is way less known than Hellraiser anyways, but that doesn't really matter.

edit- Candyman could easily still come out, since the movie is releasing this month.

  • MMR is bad because it shows how unfun high rank gameplay is. Survivors do gens way too quickly and as a result you will get only the highest tier killers or killers that just tunnel/camp. MMR could be good if the devs actually cared about changing the game and making it more fun for both sides at the highest levels.

  • I think it's cool, but I only care about the gameplay.

  • @Trickstaaaaa said:

Mind you I played every killer to some an extent. But I think don't nurse is the hardest killer to learn after trying to learn her. I think it requires for people to get used to how her blinks work. But after that it becomes a guessing game like trying to see how survivors move. But back the point. I feel that blight might actually be a harder killer to learn than nurse. Because from the times I used blight he actually feels harder to use, his ability is inconsistent, some things that one thinks they could bounce of, don't actually work. But how do you guys feel? Maybe experienced blight users disagree.

Disagree. I find Blight a lot easier to do well with/learn. Yeah he slides off a lot, but even with that happening he can still do really well.

Not the rabbit from FNAF. Specifically....this one...

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/JOWEZHKV3FP6/killer-rabbit-jpg.jpg

it'll be like legion except it can down. Where it bounces in between survivors.

  • I'm not sure what the problem is. I think any killer would be a good addition to the game IF the gameplay for them is good. I couldn't care less how they look.

  • A killer that is decent WITH a BUNCH of good addons? OP OP NERF NERF ONLY NOOBS PLAY HIM

  • @The_Krapper said:

Too many people found a way to take advantage of it like killers holding it hostage, or pretending to afk in there from the beginning with bamboozle to lure survivors in, or a survivor mid chase hopping the window and immediately into the locker with head on basically forcing the killer to vault the window eat the stun or break the wall and eat a stun, it's just a bad spot that offered no real gameplay anyway other than to do one of the things I mentioned above

too many people? you mean the two people that made youtube vids about it? and going in a dead room with an afk killer is very smart :)

  • @OnryosTapeRentals said:

I don't think survivor perks being overpowered is the issue. I think it's just poorly designed killer powers that lack utility in a chase.

agreed. I think surviors have a lot of GOOD perks, but only like 1 or two are actually overpowered.

Except you can tell when she's actually phasing, it's really easy to spot. I don't get why people have so much trouble telling the difference...

no it isn't. did you play 1 game against her and you guessed she was phasing and you happened to be correct? Because you cannot tell at all.

  • only change she needs is to hear when she starts her phase. Dcing shows how weak/entitled survivors are.

  • Dude. Stealth killers are perfectly fine.. come on.. try being more aware or something.. sorry you can't watch netflix while you hold m1 on a gen.

  • So what if she plays differently? That is what makes her unique.. You wan't every killer to be a 115% m1 only killer? How often do you even see a good nurse? Like it is probably a mythical beast at this point. Nurse needs no changes.

  • @WishIcouldmain said:

A few prime examples Alert great buff still uncommon Open-Handed good buff still uncommon. Which is a bummer since they were right calls by the devs but they’re still not used more

I absolutely love open handed and bond/kindred. Also I don't think every perk should be considered meta. A lot of perks can be good and not meta, like open handed.

Seriously i cant fanthom how you guys can be this tonedeaf and just keep ignoring the community completely,

Is it arrogance? pride? stupidity? why is it so hard to listen to what your fans want and actually giving some kind of effort to work with your playerbase.

While you (the devs for console and pc) gives us this

    https://twitter.com/DeadByBHVR/status/1422920325411581956

forcing players to play a horribly unbalanced map which you have refused to balance since your map rework for several days,, the mobile devs actually cares and gives us this

    https://twitter.com/DbDMobile/status/1422249599289499655

some nice way to earn some extra bloodpoints and xp while still giving some attention and celebration towards the franchise without completely shitting on one side of the playerbase (or anyone that dislikes indoor maps)

Why cant you take a example from the mobile dev team and actually give some effort.

it's funny. i've actually avoided that map pretty well i'd say. Probably got it once so far. usual rate imo. might just be lucky. Oh and mobile getting 3x and it incentivizes ppl to play those characters during THEIR event? I would be playing the hell out of pig if that was on PC rn..

  • @Power_Guy said:

I don't get this whole 'It's bad if Killers can 1v1' or whatever mentality.

A Killer has to deal with 4 Survivors. This means, as he eliminates them (or if he gets them 1v1 during a match) he SHOULD be the power role. That's how balance works.

If A Killer was literally only strong enough to deal with 1 Survivor, then 4 Survivors working together would trounce him.

And atm almost no killer seems like the "power role"

  • because it probably takes like 12 games of nemesis to get a single hit from zombies and that is if I am lucky.

  • yeah he is still boring. Idk why they keep pushing main event. still feels awful to use. 44 knives baseline is such a pain. reloading is boring. and still a 110% so you have to slam your face into a loop and eat a pallet for you to get anywhere.

  • @Apexgnifrums said:

When there are still game breaking bugs in the game which can completely crash the game (and some the entire system) on PC and console?

And what about poeple holding hostage over others? You should be able to just leave the match and Q new. OR actually bring a workaround for hostage holders like invisible hitboxes if 2 hitboxes are touching each other for more than 1 minute.

Also, I still dont get the concept of bringing a DC penalty in a casual party game like DbD. If at least there were to modes (ranked and casual) I would understand a penalty for ranked like in Apex legends. But oh my, 2021 and the game is still offering one game mode... with BUGS like no other game.

Fr get your business together already.

casual party game. tbh you should give ragequitters a day ban. Ragequit DCs should be punished. They ruin the game. No penalty means they endorse it.

  • Really wish they would just keep it on forever. I feel like it should be this way all the time. or at least 1.5x. Idk just something to help with the grind.

  • I would find Nemesis a lot more fun if his zombies didn't walk into a wall half the games and his power didn't feel horrible to use.

  • haha yep. I had this happen to me. literally hit them in the back and they drop it and it gets taken away. dumbest garbage.

  • p3 nurse and bubba. Lots of cake for wraith and (lethal pursuer/bbq). p1'd Nemesis. Cake and addons for trickster. Leveled Jill and Leon. and some cakes for spirit, legion, plague

  • @Shooby said:

It's fairly easy to see why Stridor, an otherwise non-problematic and niche perk was changed to be countered by Iron Will, no longer countering it. It's a band-aid Spirit nerf.

This is going to be slight conjecture, but knowing how the devs identify their targets for balance changes, statistics of Stridor probably showed a clear correlation: Stridor's usage had an inflated kill rate when ran on Spirit, and the kill rate was disproportionate for player's running her with and without Stridor. So, balancing based off of kill rate and pick rate statistics, the devs decide to nerf the perk and not the killer.

In the grand scheme of things, this change isn't too impactful or meaningful, but does highlight BHVR's inability to balance this game, once again balancing based off of statistics and not top-end or overall player feedback.

Yeah the stridor change is dumb. Why should a survivor perk ever trump a killer perk? I mean it totally nullifies it. Where as the oak offerings you would need 4 survivor offerings to match the single offering from the killer. So i'm not sure why this is different. The only time I have used stridor is on Freddy to try out the new swing chains, and that was super niche. I don't even use stridor on spirit. So with this change, stridor is just another perk that you never want to see on almost anyone. Just another great perk to find on the fun bloodweb grind along with overwhelming presence, dead mans switch, and cruel limits

  • @BubWubs said:

I feel like I somehow never manage to stun killers with pallets, but when I play killer I feel like I'm getting stunned when I'm not quite close enough to get stunned. Makes me think my timing is just off, but I wanna see what others think too.

yeah i've been getting stunned like a mile away from the pallet sometimes

  • I'd say the higher tier killers, since people who care about being the best or sweating will gravitate towards the best killers because they are most capable of winning.

I feel like the developers believed zombies would play a bigger role. They could infect for initial hit, or if you infected them, the zombies can deal a damage state. The issue? Well, if you play Nemesis, I don't need to tell you. Sometimes they are actually pog and let you style on them, other times they camp a wall with more intensity than a Basement Bubba.

Yeah. it is a very gimmicky mechanic. Especially at high ranks where I don't think they do much more than maybe force someone off a gen. But I mean if you aren't running ruin/undying, that really doesn't do much to stop them.

  • @ThiccBudhha said:

I still feel like Pig or Trapper's powers are such a joke that Nemesis, just by merit of being able to tier up is inherently better (except for perhaps Pig as she has crouch and ambush to compensate for such a useless power). Trapper is still the only killer that can actively harm himself. The tentacle of love and desire seems almost OP by comparison. Like, don't get me wrong, it sucks. But there is no way it is worse than bear traps or reverse bear traps. No way in hell.

Right, Maybe I shouldn't have asked if he has the most inefficient power and instead just talked about Nem's power's downfalls.
