Says killer mains complain too much while calling themselves a killer main on their own rant/complaint thread.
Yea your right seems hypocritical? But it was about survivor problems and not the usual "survivors are op" and "ds needs nerf stuff".

"All these terrible killers who think they are good because of these unfair hits really makes me angry." You are a survivor main, there is no changing my mind. (See how that works? How redundant)
It doesn't matter whether you were talking about the game, forums, or your local Walmart. If you say you're leaving and then come back, you took it personally somewhere.
Yes, killer mains definitely complain too much. I'm glad we could discuss this on a thread with survivor complaints
Also, who do you think you are? I could comment the weather and you couldn't stop me. Don't post if you don't want comments like mine.
I guess its redundant but I could care less what you think I am, I main killer nor do I need your validation.
All I said was that I was taking a break from the FORUMS. Mostly because I don't feel the need to be here currently. I only came back one more time before my break because I was frustrated.
I think killer mains complain more than survivors (despite 4 years of constant nerfs lol).
I think I am Azame. You can comment sure but I can also ignore your comment and never reply. Same as anyone else and vice versa.

first of all i'm a pc killer and pc survivor, I do not vpn what so ever. your assumptions are very problematic and lead you to erroneous conclusions. Also please get on the other side of a 4 ft tall fence, stand 2-3 feet away from it and have another stand 2-3 feet away from it on the other side. now have one of you hold a 2-3 foot stick in your hand and see if you can touch the other. if you can you have disproven that you can not be hit after you leap a window. However the GAME registers the hit on one computer and transmits it to another computer and then that transmits it to your computer and that causes you to see things that are not correct based on your end, hell I have seen a survivor downed at the midline between the exit gate and the actual exit line and the on my system they were at my feet but suddenly they were transported 1/2 to the zone line and by the time i could move they were crawling out. and I lost the hook/kill, this is called latency and even though hit validation is a thing, it is not always going to be correct and some things will still hit erroneously but that doesn't mean things are broken. I will say there have been many times I've said to myself well that looked like a suspicious hit but hey i can't do anything about it. the only way you could possibly remove this issue is IF your computers were all playing on the same network router and nothing else in between them and the others.
your opinions on the killers are exactly that, opinions as I find that they are FUN to go against and make me think in different ways. Just like blight and nurse does the same for me when i consider where i'm running. if I'm going to vault a window with phead i'm going to make sure i'm going at a run so i can keep good distance and make a quick left or right juke so i miss that shot he has. same with death slinger, i've gotten the "near miss" result more times that i want to admit. you gotta think out of the box, play killer, play with frineds for swf if you don't like randos. I get my share of randos that leave me on hook from first hook to death without a thought I gripe but i move on, i don't come here and complain about it and say it makes my game experience that much worse. I also don't generalize people based on the platform and choice of side at all.
Good luck in your games I hope you find something that best fits you.
My comments on hits is that I'm just maining killer now. It's better for me I don't have to worry about the pokos its more fun in my opinion.
When it comes to boring killers my problem is the lack of counter play when the player is good. "But why should you be able to outplay a good killer". I am a good survivor I should be able to have a back and force interaction where both of us are trying to outplay each other and the victor gets to survive or kill. Power to you if you enjoy going again a deathslinger or pyramid head. Go against a good one and you aren't getting all the "near misses" you claim to get. once again power to you if you can take a bunch of bad players leaving you to die.
Thanks I find killer best suits me.

I can be both depending on how the killer and my team is.
I usually run left behind and plunder. And half my escapes are hatch escapes.
I am solo.
I like that you can adjust if you were on my team. Left behind is definitely a key to your high survival rate.

Yes I did and it reads as you being a salty survivor, calling being the killer (The 1 in a 4v1) easy.
If saying you're going to leave and then saying "I'm back because I'm frustrated, here is why I hate everything" isn't taking it personally then I don't know what is
You know what, you said you would switch to killer and we need more killers so I take it back, stick around! (:
Yes I do definitely believe the killer side is easy in pubs. Outside of that (tournaments) its genuinely hard I should know. Also read the whole thing since I can tell you seem to have a slight killer bias and don't understand my frustrations.
I was referring to leaving the forums, not the game itself. I am a killer main after all and enjoy that side more than survivor. I don't care about killers killing me once again read the post or don't comment.
Yeah I'm not sticking around for all the killer mains who really think killer is hard outside of tournaments. You guys complain way too much for my liking.

I don't feel killer has gotten easier so much as survivors are not "as" OP as they were. Survivors were OP as sin when the game launched and it's taken them 4+ years to try to balance it out. For every killer buff there is a shadow nerf or survivor buff to compensate.
It sounds like the majority of your problems are bad randoms. If you are on PC I suggest turning off cross platform because almost all console survivors suck. I've been saying for over a year that BHVR needs to stop releasing new chapters and actually work out some of the games bugs. There are plenty. Id much rather they focus on game health instead of pumping out a killer that is buggy upon release and it worse than Legion.
BHVR, if you want more money from me than make something actually worth it. If The Twins were viable, bug free and had decent perks I would have paid for that. But what we got now, I don't even want to spend shards on this killer. They suck that much.
If you don't think killer has gotten easier over the 4 years of survivor nerfs I think you must just be flat out bad as killer. I am gonna be completely honest with you. 4 years of nerfs and you think there has been a survivor buff and shadow nerf to compensate? Yeah keep exaggerating.
Bad randoms, and ######### servers. The devs neglect trying to fix the servers and try to come and justify the bad hits. I am on console so it sucks. I do agree console survivors are super trash. But then again all survivors are. Atleast in pubs. Your last few points I complete agree with.

I already escape about 50% of my games. Lullaby is a nerf depending on which killer is using it as the change was putting a restriction on it.
If survivors are not OP to u, than ur the lucky few who can kill survivors at high ranks.
The average killer cannot do that.
Are you an aggressive or passive player? That gives me a clear reason for your escape percent. I still think the change was fine you can still use it in impossible skill check builds lol.
I do not think survivor who are op, nor am I lucky. I consider myself a good killer. That's it.
The average killer wants kills handed to them and hasn't played when survivors truly were op.

Just because OP tiles and infinites don't spawn everywhere now doesn't mean killer has gotten easier. If you're playing Nurse or Spirit, sure it's easy. If you're playing Deathslinger or Pyramid Head and your aim is really on, sure it's easy. But beyond that it is anything but a cake walk, even with Ruin/Undying. I've tried playing without Ruin/Undying on someone like Demogorgon or Clown, using Corrupt/Pop for gen defense, and it is just miserable. If you aren't a killer that has insane map pressure, you're done for. Runaway gens will trump any amount of good chases you do, so you have to focus on the weak link of the team and actually *retreat* from the strong loopers/loops.
So no, aside from a few strong killers/builds, killer has never been and never will be easy.
That's exactly what it means lol. If infinites and op tiles don't spawn killer definitely is easier. I also don't want them to spawn they were like we both said op. In pubs every killer is viable if the player is good. I fully believe that. Even the weaker killers because outside of tournaments survivors are just plain bad. The only thing that holds you back is the good rng for survivor and a few of the large maps and that's it. I feel like that you are exaggerating.

I second the post about hyperbole here as it really does just come off like a rant, rather than a well thought out objective assessment of things.
Never come to the forums angry as this is the result and it basically shoots your own argument in the foot before you've even really begun.
Take your own advice and take a break.
It's not even an argument. It was never intended to be either. It's just my thoughts and all anecdotal. Its all purely because survivor is in a worst spot than killer.

Otherwise, killers are just too strong and needs a nerf.
On top of the already nerfed thanataphobia, POP, doctor, Billy, lullaby, mori, etc.
U mine as well make it so nerfed that most survivors have a 50% of escaping.
I have way more others in killer than 100. Also it is only pubs not tournaments otherwise survivors are not op. Pub survivors are dog ######### which is why solo is complained about sooo much. Pop is still good, thana works on legion and plague, Lullaby wasn't even nerfed if you understand the change, mori was objectively op. I don't want survivors to escape 50% lol.

More hyperbole. As a PC player I am here to tell you that I do not use a VPN while I am gaming because it creates a miniscule amount of lag and frankly I want those extra milliseconds while gaming. For future reference... hyperbole is a direct invalidation of any points you are trying to make to the more sensible and logical players. The "foot stomping" players will of course agree with you because it validates their own hyperbolic claims. Enjoy your forum break.
It was an exaggeration but it has some truth because on west servers its a ton of vpners. The console players just seem to have the worst connection to the server.

Im only pissed at the survivor side. I enjoy killer honestly. That's why I won't take a break. The devs need to make an mmr or ranking system so that survivors who have no, iq, cant loop, or do gens can not climb the ranks. It's not even the gap that's the biggest problem. It's the fact the red ranks is bloated with bad players

The game in its earlier stages didn't have as many players and the players that were around probably didn't always know about the forums etc.
More people = more complaints. Now you give these people a platform like the forums and the outcome is that it may look like people are relatively more complaining. Just my guess but I find it hard to believe that people just didn't complain at all, especially when looking back at how ridiculous the game actually was back then. If no one complained, how come the game looks so much different now? The devs were pushed to change so much for a reason, were they not? And I don't know a company that doesn't keep the feedback from their community in mind when changing core dynamics of the game as much as DBD has done.
That is true though but survivors were genuinely op back in those days. It was actually disgusting the things you could do. I'd expect them to complain more. Also even in 2018 when the forums launched Survivors still had a significant amount of things to work with. So I dont understand why I see more complaints when killer is dumb easy.

@Yamaoka said:
Personally I think the game is in a fairly balanced state at this moment. Both sides can dominate each other depending on skill level, tactics, builds, maps, items etc.
As for the og stuff I hardly remember complaining about anything back then even though some situations were straight up bs.
I remember old DS (for instance) and the hatch OR the open gate. I downed the obsession near hatch OR open gate (had both situations a million times back then) and literally HAD TO watch them crawl to the hatch/gate because no hooks were near enough for DS-dribbling, obsession DS was active all game and the hatch couldn't be closed.
Even in those situations I never said anything negative regarding balance which isn't a good thing.
I literally ignored serious balance issues because I just enjoyed killer gameplay so much because it was something all new in terms of gaming.
Anyways the game has come a long way and its current state is where it should be balance wise (minus the dead zones but a new map formula is supposed to fix that anyways).
Solo queue may be a pain most of the time but that's not a balance issue - it's more of a "most survivors don't understand anything about the game"-issue if we're completely honest.
If ranking up as survivor was more dependant on your chases rather than farming altruism then you'd get WAY better games as solo.
I see ridiculously bad survivor decisions and 10 second chases literally every - single - solo survivor match. If you run Bond things become even more annoying.
So we agree on the first few things. But my question is do you have any idea how to rebalance solo queue? Its very frustrating to play and lose bp over bad teammates. I think there should be a new ranking system with higher ranks. Bad players would have a harder time ranking up. This is mostly to decrease trash players flooding red ranks.

I purposefully stated it's not unbalanced in the form of killer or survivor sided. we have no idea who these good players you play against are and how they actually play, what perks they use, etc. what we do know, if you tell us, what killer do you play? and make no mistake I'm not trying to say that good survivors are impossible to beat, but it depends on map RNG and other elements unique to every match.
Ive been playing blight on console. I mentione console because his skill cap is vastly different on console and pc. I also play trapper on the side but hes weak and needs a buff. I also enjoy bubba too. Rng affects both sides so that kinda balances things out.

I think the problem is that they know that its possible to lose when you play perfect. Then they think everytime they lose, it is such a match. But in reality they did make many mistakes.
The knowledge there are impossible matches is an easy excuse for them.
Highlights everything perfectly.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
your anecdote means very little. Fact is many survivors and killers aren't supposed to be at higher ranks which creates a false sense of balance due to the mix of bad and good players. one game you dominate, the other game you are choked. the game is still unbalanced and it's not unbalanced in the childish form of "survivor/killer sided"
Good players still dont really beat me. I get my 3 to 4k. Sure tis only anecdotal on my matches. But balance wise you cant really say the game is survivor sided outside of tournament play. Which the majority does not play. The majority of survivors are bad and even the good ones are beatable by solid killers who know how to play.

It's always astounding when people talk about fun here.
It was not fun for me to get run around whatever object just to get the palett thrown in my face and additionally taunted by tbag and/or flashlight.
The game was the most enjoyable in it's early days when both sides had less of a clue and survivor were more afraid of the killer.
The game had more of a hide and seek feeling, with playing catch as means to prolong the inevitable. Now it's just catch because most survivor know that hiding isn't effective, their are not even one bit scared of the killer or have any respect for them. They are just another guy to chase the survivor.
That's also the reason why I quit for good in the beginning of 2020. I just don't have the time to invest several 1000 hours into just one game to stay on top.
Chases arent even only running around an object. It's only filler pallets that are like that. Jungle gyms, shack, some main buildings have unique ways to run them and allow both sides to outplay on.
You cant expect people to stay scared and play in a boring passive way. It's allggood if you refuse to learn how to beat aggressive players.

@Reinami said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/212836/anyone-else-remember
The problem is that the game actually is survivor sided when you look at tournaments and top level play. If it wasn't, then nurse wouldn't be the only viable killer. The math itself doesn't add up. Let's look at what a perfectly efficient team does.
Facts:
- Gens take 80 seconds each.
- Survivors move at 4.0 m/s
- Killers (most) move at 4.6 m/s
- Killers (most) have a 32 meter terror radius.
- Killer lunge range is 6 meters (generally you wait until 4-5 meters for dead hard, and to not get spun etc.)
- A survivor moves at 6.0 m/s for 3 seconds after getting hit.
The scenario:
- Match starts, every survivor splits up onto different gens.
- Killer runs to opposite side of the map (where survivors likely spawn)
- Crossing the maps takes 15-20 seconds depending on the map and killer.
- Assuming you instantly find a survivor in that time (which can be rare) this takes about 15 seconds.
- Lets pretend for a minute, the survivor doesn't use windows, or pallets, or anything, and they just hold w, as soon as they see the killer.
- As soon as the killer terror radius at 32 meters, survivor looks around for the killer. Human reaction time can be around .25 seconds, but let's say you have to look around to find which direction the killer is coming from and it takes 3 seconds. The killer is now 32 - (4.6 x 3), or 18.2 meters away.
- You now know where the killer is coming from, and hold w in the opposite direction.
- Killer needs to get within 4 meters of you to lunge. The killer gains .6 meters per second. Getting within 4.5 meters takes 22.8 seconds (i'll even round down for you)
- It is now 15 + 22 = 37 seconds for the first hit (remember no pallets, or windows, or anything, just holding w).
- Killer is able to gain 1 meter while cleaning their weapon for 3 seconds. The survivor uses their speed boost to move 18 meters, which means the killer is 17 meters away.
- It takes the killer another 20.8 seconds to get within 4.5 meters to lunge. Again, i'll even round down for you.
- This is now a down in 15 + 22 + 20 = 57 seconds.
- It takes 3 seconds to pick up the survivor, and another 10-15 seconds to walk to a hook, and it takes 1.5 seconds to hook the survivor. This time is 3 + 10 + 1.5 = 14.5 seconds (again i'll even round down and say 14 seconds)
- The first hook now took 15 + 22 + 20 + 14 = 71 seconds.
- Gen times are 80 seconds.
- During this time the other 3 survivors work on a generator, you now lose 3 generators
- Rinse and repeat, but now you have 1 survivor on a gen and another rescuing and healing, so it is a bit slower, but you still lost 3 gens.
Keep in mind. This ignores pallets. It ignores perks. It ignores windows. It ignores looping. This is literally just holding w for as long as possible. If a team plays efficiently, and hits the gens hard like they should, a killer can never win. The only exception to this, is killers who can shorten that chase window, like nurse, spirit, huntress (arguable), deathslinger, etc. Because you can't hold w against them. Now when you factor in pallets, windows, looping, etc. This basically means nurse and spirit are really the only viable killers at top level play.
Now, you might say "well you should get the first hit, then go find another survivor on a gen". And you are right, this is generally optimal. But now imagine that scenario i mentioned, where you do that. It took you 15 + 22 seconds, to find the first survivor and hit them once. It takes a survivor 16 seconds to heal. Now all they do is heal, and start hitting a gen and the scenario repeats itself. Now you can maybe do this only once or twice depending on your medkit. But by the time your team runs out, you easily could complete multiple generators.
This is the problem with the game. When survivors play perfectly, a killer can't win. A killer has to win by survivors making mistakes. There isn't a way for a killer to truly win a game against an efficient team if they play perfectly.
Nobody can play perfectly you can still play at top level but it isnt perfect that's why you can still play like Pyramid Head and 4k.
Also mostly everyone plays pubs. I cant see the merit when you dont see tournament teams often in pubs. It's a minority.

Is that a challenge? Bet. I'd love to try it out against you, win or lose. To be clear, I said that because I find him pretty easy to loop anyways. His attacks are linear in it comes to rite of judgement. I spent 1 - 3 whole minutes running from this PH because he kept letting me loop him at pallets instead of just breaking them. He spammed the shmt out of ROJ and trails.
Even though I was hit with torment, I escaped all chases. I'm no god but I'm pretty sure that if I face off against you, you'll do better then them but feel free to keep that same mentality. I personally have no idea what I'm getting to but I won't deny a challenge you make one.
Ok so you're taking that approach. Saying you arent the best. Alright pretty abrupt change in tone.

Not harsh at all.
I play in a way that attempts to get as much objective done as possible, be as cooperative as possible, and use builds that give me the information I require to know as much as I can within the limitations of playing solo.
All the while respecting that the killer is an actual threat. I don’t wait till the last moment before running, hiding. I don’t antagonise, except in instances a distraction is needed to help someone else out. Basically I play like a scaredy cat because I’m simply average at chases as survivor. I can sometimes successfully juke, but I just have trouble maintaining my pathing while looking behind me.
That's why solo queue is fine for you. Experienced survivors would never play passively because it's boring. We dont want to hold m1 for 80 seconds we want chase interaction. While there is nothing wrong with how you play to even say solo queue is fine put yourself in the shoes of a good survivor. We want the killer to chase us.
We want our skill to mean something. Having a 3 minute chase with zero gens is devastating. Killers who cancel chases (spirit, deathslinger, pyramid head) we dont like those. (Usually).

Alas, I digress I am sometimes one of those complainers. Angry vent on occasion.
However in my defence I think I (usually) tend to bring up well thought out points worthy of discussion. Never simply “wah, sUrViVoR siDeD!” or “wah, KiLLeR siDeD!”.
I will however agree that the game has continually gotten better and better balanced, and that it’s in the best spot it’s ever been in terms of balance. It’s a far cry from the masochistic experience it used to be when attempting to play killer.
It's ok to complain sometimes and vent. It does get annoying with the usual "survivor sided devs" nonsense. Tha that good you arent doing that. Killer is so easy these days and survivors just need qol the game is pretty boring as them.

Maybe bcause most nerfs since the beginning can't even be called nerf but rebalancing the game.
I would love to see both sides play 1 day in both roles in a vanilla version with their knowledge of the game now.
Insta moris, insta heal, bnp, mid chase recoverable exhaustion, palett vacuum, double palett/palett city, endless balanced landing, perma saboed hooks and traps,.... And so on.
The game would be so dead if that stuff was still in the game.
It is a nerf. You cant try and cha ge the word man come on now. Whether you like it or not it did make the side technically weaker. Im also not saying they werent justified.

@topic Honestly stealth is your best best, followed by holding W. Also if there's a change in verticality, like on Dead Dawg Saloon (easily his worst map) or Hawkins' catwalks, abuse the ######### out of it. He can't hit *upwards* with his power, only down slopes. Run up or through buildings with lots of holes in the floor (again see the Saloon or Hawkins) and he's powerless, literally. It's a detriment to even try.

The moment the hatch requirements are meet and hatch is found with a survivor who has a key you lost a kill, if it's a swf you lost multiple.
Thats why you bring franklins when you can. I've never seen such use out of it. They thirst their keys and you kinds semi proxy for free kills.

Are keys and Moris two different things? Yes.
Are keys and Mori’s debated together and lumped together into the same conversations? Yes.
Have keys and Mori’s been a hot topic that causes a lot of division? Yes
Then they should’ve been changed at the same time by delaying Mori’s changes until keys were changed. It’s that simple. It would’ve prevented a lot of idiotic banter that should’ve never been spoken and also kept a lot of ppl from being butt hurt.
After using franklins people are seriously exaggerating how helpful it is. Keys are way more manageable with that perk. the only time it's hard is when an ACTUALLY good team plays. Which rarely happens becuase its PUBS. It would be better but hey moris are stronger.

Agreed, there were so many people begging for it to work on 2nd hook (and some even requesting to have it deleted) and then as soon as it's nerfed loads of people are like "shame on the devs! Survivor bias!"
All I seen exactly this. When the nerf a xxv actually comes you dont...... want it? Really confusing but hey kinda expected more reasons to claim bias I love it.

Finally someone said it , killers are the ones that whine ! Thank you I have been saying this. They complain about every single thing under the sun
I wouldnt say everything but definetly more than survivors do. It's like damn 4 years of nerfs and it still ain't good enough lol.

Usually, I would save a mori to get rid of a griefing goon or a flashlight spamer. Now,that aint gonna happen..ahh,well.
This would more then likely not be talked about as much other then the fact Killers are lock-in on their killers so,in order to balance It out they more then likely used moris to counter some of the "problems" because lets be frank the "match-up" balance of the force lock crap is a fairy tale If I ever seen one.
That being said, If they address keys I am gonna bet a perk will be involved (like most cases) and people will have to fork over catch to counter a key or wait at the shrine. While hearing how said perk is overpowered.
"I can say killers are more whiny"-If ya gonna throw some stone get ready mate..Cause,I have seen every possible ######### fit from survivors about
PH-making DS and get out of jail free perks useless
frankland's-Because they get a item knock out of hand
NOED-That one is self explained
DH-Because If I gets 3 charges you get one shot
Ruin-Even now with it being reworked.
Freddy-both versons
BBQ&Chilli- Oh,no..map awareness
And the list goes on..And usually this is met much more quickly then Killer complaints And unusually with a more brutal effect. And by Brutal I mean the quick Appeasement version not a total redo or rethinking how to make It function. Which is the problem.
Quick does not equal good..This was done quick..But not good. It is gonna promote tunneling...It is gonna promote camping..It is gonna promote bad habits. On top of that. It aint worth the amount of points to get It now. So,either refund everyone who wasted points on them..Or atleast make a compresser so people can grin unwanted add-ons and crap into bloodpoints.
Agressive nerfing crap will lead to worse things coming out of It..Tunneling and camping are gonna be the main things..Either that or the return of the slug meta..
What exactly is a griefing goon. I'm guessing you assume more than 2 flashlights are spammers right? There is no way to physically know whos gonna spam click before a game starts unless you have faces them before. Killers will bring moris for whatever reason just like they will use perks like light born or Franklin's on flashlights or medkits. More on this later.
Moris dont balance anything out they are objectively overpowered and cut the games time significantly way too quickly. If you think playing with 3 other friends needs "moris to balance" them all you did was make the killer genuinely op.
That's a plain guess trying to blow a nerf to unrealistic proportions because based off of what you have said the devs have to have bias right?
So let's debunk everything you have said.
PH- he ignores everuway a survivor can to prevent being tunneled. This was very unhealthy I cant even st re essay this enough. If you can delete survivors in 2 seconds without problems why should they play? Why do you think even other killer mains want ds to remain to have its anti tunnel capabilities. No killer should completely be able to cancel out a survivors game
Franklin's- it has no use other than to stop keys. Using it on another item a survivor brings is frustrating. Combine that with their bad bp economy (low bp gains), and cluttered blood webs with useless addons and offerings losing items are wasting the survivors bp.
I personally dont hse it for other than keys and despise it and my other friends feel the same way it has no reason for its existence other than to stop keys.
Noed- the perk is annoying same way killers claim dead hard is annoying. I'll still give this to you though. It can be countered but a face camping bubba can guarantee a 2k to 3k with it so it definitely needs tweaking. It should never give you a free 1 shot down when YOU lost gens.
Are you referring to dead hard here? Please elaborate.
Ruin- is genuinely boring to face now ifnits paired with undying and tinkerer. I dont think you play survivor enough to know that. Dont be a one side killer main who's bad at survivor and claims they play it.
Old ruin was just too inconsistent good survivors neutered it and bad survivors couldnt do anything. It's way better now if the killer can pressure. I want to say one more thing. Tinkerer has infinite uses and can be used to staw out games forever that is not fun.
Freddy- both versions were boring. Old freddy had passive slowdown built in. Except it was like tremendous slowdown. I doubt you played then but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Combine this wint the fact all old freddys did was tunnel you had a boring game. Gens took 80 years while sleep and the only way to wake up was missing skill checks.
New freddy however is just boring because he has too many things going for him and to counter you just pre throw. Nothing else except pre throw. Boring uninteractive gameplay because his snares weren't fine tuned and he can spam them.
Bbq- this is the most bs thing I've heard any good survivor doesnt care. Exaggerations doesnt make you more right :)
I wouldnt say quick fixes are being brought to both sides at the moment. Well except hit validation instantly being turned off for oni players but hey killers are the oppressed and survivors are the oppressors amirite?
I dont care about camping I can use bt,ds,ub and make the killers who choose to suffer. Not to mention actual try with my sqf and win games. It really isnt that difficult. They can camp if they choose but also know that I'm not holding back.
Can I get a refund on odd bulbs, high end sapphire lens, and intense halogens too? I spent my bp and those alot nerfed to useless. All the flashlight add ons did to be fair and I have 100s to 200s of those. That's another story for another day.
I agree with you on the compressor though.
The tunnel and camp bs has been in the game for a whike now, and slugging. That's why DS and UB are meta even though people try te deny it. Killers were the main cause of this shift. The devs are the main cause of anti heal meta which promotes gens over healing. Dont blame the survivors for adapting and being smart. (:

I 100% agree with you on the blood web clutter. It is an issue for both survivors and killers (the extra BP killers get notwithstanding). The huge number of add-ons for both are borderline useless (some for killers are actually detriments), and the grind to get through bloodwebs for something worth having can be overwhelming. I've gone through 5-6 bloodwebs as The Pig and not seen a single Combat Straps -- a common -- while getting stuck with a number of terrible add-ons I'll never use under any circumstance.
I will completely disagree respectfully with you on the Franklin's/lobby dodge comment though. Frankiin's doesn't warrant a perk slot against Red Rank survivors, and lobby dodging to avert a game mechanic means that there's a problem with the game mechanic. Lobby dodging should never have to be a "counter" to something in the game (much like the sign that the Mori was overpowered was the number of disconnects you'd see in the loading screen if a killer brought one).
Since we agree I will reply to your second part.
Franklin's has worked for me I have 4k'd even double keys with it. I play blight and the other three are gen regression/bbq. Also this is pubs not comp, red rank means virtually nothing. I dont think tis fair to dismiss Franklin's because of that. Lobby dodging was just a a lazy counter I said because if you dont have Franklin's and you dont dodge you will have to heavy slug the key use or tunnel them out. Which also worked for me.

I have like 80 of them sitting around on my blight now, so now I actually don't feel too bad for using them for fun now
They arent insta wins so go ahead and go crazy. Pretty funny seeing them being brought in.

I actually prefer the new angle it feels way better and the five is top tier.

welcome to what blight, huntress, billy, oni, deathslinger, pyramid head, and nurse all feel on a daily basis, too much survivor agility in terms of spinning like a bayblade
I disagree on oni, ph, and deathslinger. Low sense and a good fps background you can destroy as slinger. Oni is nearly the same so lol. And PH is nearly the same.

I just played a game on my alt ~rank 10 and i found an extremely laggy legion
During the match he managed to hit many hits that shouldn't have hit..
before you watch the video, let me make this clear: the survivors weren't lagging, including me.
This proves that either
- Even with hit validation, the game will prioritize the killer's connection in which it isn't fair, the game should prioritize x player that has the best connection.
- Hit validation is still extremely faulty and the server is still not able to identify which player has the best connection and if x hit actually connected with the survivor.
Exactly hit validation is not ready at all and it shows. The killers still have their hit priority and the validation fails to check of the hit should connect. The best bet is to just play killer (my solution).

moris are extremely common actually, pretty much 1 per 3 bloodwebs or more because 2 can spawn in bloodwebs sometimes
but most players just accepted them as broken and swore off using them
personally I had 1 scenario which I used a mori
3 keys in a row
but other than that no moris
I Used to be stock piled on my billy before I got him p3. Dont feel bad using moris if the keys are in play.

@azame The Mori Offering was broken yes, it needed to be changed yes.
But listen, from now and until keys are fixed Survivors are clearly buffed in any discussion about the most hated aspects of the game.
The reason those things are so hated is why people are upset. Surely this is obvious.
I never used Moris, I knew how bad it feel to get mori'ed as survivor, so I dont, but now its just a useful offering.
I'm objectively offended by having more useless addons. I dont want to take it anymore. Its super bad.
I want to say survivors have way more blood web clutter. Every flashlight addon except batteries are bad. They have been for 3 years. And we still have to pay for them. Killers also earn objectively more bp and have bbq which has a solid way of getting stacks while wglf never got its extra way which the devs said they would give. I'm averaging 50k plus a game so you can not complain.
I still havent seen many key survivors and if I do I can run Franklin's or dodge.

You can not get caught.... twice. I'm not sure if you are aware but franklin's has been nerfed. You now see the visibility of the dropped item as a survivor and have a chance to pick it up before it despawns. If you're bringing a key you are most likely in some size of swf group.... on comms. This means even if your item is dropped your teammate will just go pick up the item and drop it back down to be picked up later. Also survivors are smart enough to know that once franklins is being played they will simply drop their important items around the map and go back to them when they need to use them. Franklin's is now a pointless perk.
Saying dont get caught is saying dont let gens get done...5 times. It's such a bad argument lol. I cant check the validity of that claim but I'm like 100% sure only the killer sees the items aura so maybe you can be reading wrong. I'm actually looking at the perm and no where does it say the survivor does.
Key does not mean swf group it can but like I said you see the item and you can proxy the item and the hooked survivor if it really bothers you.
Yeah survivors can hide it so I understand that i'll give it to you. That's also a good reason to take advantage of hitting the key user with Franklin's. They shod thirst the key if your claims are correct giving you free pressure.

@bjorksnas said:
I mean I can complain that keys not being nerfed because to remove one or the other but not both at the same time for these item is a good design choice, shadow nerfing them is still kinda annoying but more understandable but nerfing one but not the other instead of waiting for both just isn't a good change, right direction, wrong method/timing
yes I know moris need to be nerfed, and yes I know keys need to be nerfed, but for the sake of temporary balance its not good
and the amount moris got nerfed is a bit much and the only key nerf I can think on par with it would be last survivor can open hatch with key
I understand where you are coming from but moris were always stronger. I knew this even before. It would of been better to nerf the keys and moris at the same time but keys need more work. Moris are also really common in the blood webs for whatever reason.
I'm all for a nerf keys into the grounds as I dont use them.

uhhhh wut?
mori's punish you for being careless.
careless survivors are those who dont respect the danger a mori brings.
you stall or even prevent a mori by not getting hooked. something thats pretty doable against most killers minus a god nurse or spirit.
meanwhile how do you prevent a 4 man key escape beyond running franklin at all times in case chests give a key?
oh did we forget that you can earn the survivor equivilant of a mori DURING a game so you cant even predict it? survivors are the only ones who can pick up a key or 3 via RNG DURING a match AND USE IT DURING SAID MATCH.
"counter play" that.
Saying dont get hooked litterally saying just stop gens. It holds no merit. Moris arent just unexpected danger they were objectively broken and a good killer is getting a survivor out 2 minutes in making winning impossible thus its nerf. 4 man keys were never and still arent common. Franklin's usually does the job for most key users (1).
I'll give you this tho that's why keys are getting nerfed. It's really only during a match it has that mori suprise factor but it still isnt as strong because you have to do gens still. But I still agree with you this needs a change.

Enjoy your queue times filthy survivor mains !1!1!1111!!
Yeah I'm a 100 hour killer main who mains spirit and deathslinger because of their lore. I 100% think the devs are survivor biased they need to make survivors spawn on hooks! I face top 1% deathsquads everygame as well. I face team agony and team sinister twice a week!

It’s not about how easy it is. If it was the ease of change behind this; they could have done it ages ago. The thing is timing and placement, which leads to perception. It was done with no fanfare; no announcement, and was just thrown into a HOTFIX. A hotfix. A place for fixing bugs. So was this a but the whole time they couldn’t fix whenhey first nerfed Moris? Also as a killer main; I never said I wanted them nerfed ever, but I was fine after the first nerf. This nerf is just gutting them. Second; a key nerf would have been more fair; as they weren’t touched when Moris first where. But we have been told to wait for a key rework for years; without any sign of it while this is just talking in how brazen it is. It is unfair; and the perception seems to show further survivor bias.
You clearly have a bias if you never wanted moris nerfed. It isnt bias keys need to be reworked instead of a simple number change. The nerf was abrupt 8all give you that but it had to happen. Moris are way too common and I see them despite all the "we never use them". We love the survivor bias despite 4 years of constant nerfs :)
