Decisive Strike is getting nerfed with the release of the next chapter, All-Kill. The change has been shown on the PTB.
Once changed, DS will deactivate when the survivor performs actions such as repairing generators or healing other survivors.
Alright, thanks.
-
I haven't been in the dbd community all that much in the past few months, who said Decisive Strike was getting nerfed?
Also, why mention it if you're attempting to get your adept?
-
yeah but the title freaks me out

While gens easily go by in a swf team trying to win, if it's a team of solo que then you're probably not on top of your sh- er... stuff.

Turn off chat, there's no way to avoid people who get sucked into the game too much.

Elodie is the newest member of Dead By Daylight's Big and Loud club. We survivor mains who care not for stealthy characters welcome her with open arms.
Yes, I AM!

If you had DPS you could've done something early game. Such a shame

A less decomposed pig mask

Hate to say it but that looks kinda cool
-
This is easy. Just give it the PGTW treatment (-15 seconds) and shorten the stun time. There all better.

like i stated in my post, im talking about if they changed it to where you used to be able to activate sprint burst like dead hard and choose the reward with a setback like exhausted. If you were around for that time back then
I'm confused, when exactly did you say anything about sprint burst in your original post? I've reviewed it a couple of times, but I cannot seem to find it? You never mentioned that and I'm accused about the "If you were around for that time back then" line?

No, i don't feel you completely read my post because i only said atleast pink mori's helped the lower tier killers. If you rely on exhausted perks then i believe that says a lot about how you play. It wouldn't be detrimental either, like i said you'd just be hindered for the time of exhausted or if they tweaked it to something else. Also this is just all opinion
I never said I relied on exhaustion perks. They aren't frequent in my typical builds, but they do appear frequently with other survivors. And, if slowing people down isn't detrimental, then what about the baby megheads who use sprint burst, the perk where you are always exhausted if you're running. Which, happens a lot when you play Dead by Daylight.
To say pink moris helped low tier killers is an understatement. No matter what, they could easily be abused.
And the fact that your only counter argument is "You didn't read my post" although I covered everything you mentioned in the post says a lot about YOU.

Game SHOULD be Killer sided. It's 4 v 1 game.
It's asymmetrical.
It should tip the balance; only slightly, in different parts of the game. Nothing needs to be heavily in favor of one side.
-
So, instead of trying to balance out bad map layouts that allow exhaustion perks to be so popular, you want them to be more DETRIMENTAL, i.e. making people play the least optimal playstyle, immersed. You ask, "No I never said that, why?" because you slowed people down, which doesn't make sense from a balancing perspective.
I don't disagree with a key change, they need to get on that ASAP, but then you try to defend old Moris, which, NO. You're points are both wrong:
1) Pips don't matter, you'll get survivors around the same level of skill each time unless they're on comms
2) People get bullied for using keys, too. It's just one person over four.
The fact that you think one shot makes killer immediately viable shows a lack of playtime, imo low hours = less skill = ranting about "unbalanced" things that are balanced.
That about covers your entire rant, it basically says instead of survivor sided it should be killer sided.
P.S. You can't fix comms, there isn't a way.

Personally I'm looking forward to the QoL improvements and other fun aesthetics- fun addons that reflect Teachables like the last few Killers, no grunting when vaulting a window, amazing TR music, and if I pray hard enough- jiggle physics return.
Yeah, something like a Red head's pinky finger rework where hitting a survivor directly results in 2x regression speed

I think that when you hit a survivor with victor on you he cheers for you, that's the rework I need.

I think the best part here is that his tattoo of an eye moves as well

"I don't care if you say you've 4k'd after taking 4 DSs, because that simply means you're went against absolute bot survivors and would have won anyway."
I don't disagree about a DS nerf, but by that logic you would have lost to those survivors without DS anyway?

Hello, I am Insidious player, doesn't play the game a lot.

Nerf DS like they did pop. You can spend too much time sitting on your arse, just like they said with pop. There's a comment with 100+ upvotes on that somewhere.
As for the "it's fine in their eyes," I'm sure there's plenty of people who have the same mindset flopped.
-
If were talkin' DBD 2, I think they'd rip the idea of an Overwatch 2 and put in a campaign, better graphics, and FULL crossplay between the games.
I also walked in thinking this was about a "2 killers" gamemode.
-
Doubt it, but is is plausible. Many horror actors like and play horror games.
-
I'll bet someone out there if they saw this thread would complain about you using DS
-
Most definitely a bug.
-
No, I don't think we will.
-
Jeff has passive-aggressive perks and Ace has plunderer perks, neither are particularly useful without other perks, so why not try another character?
-
I feel like Detention would be like a secondary M1 hit. If a survivor is healthy they will become injured, but cannot be downed by it. So then it slows down Vaults, Heal, Locker Entries, Chest Searches, Unhooks, and the Oblivious status effect is gained. (No gen, something about Forever Freddy idk.)
Underperforming could be an early-game perk. If a survivor hasn't done a generator, all action speeds are slowed down until they complete one.
I don't know about the Trapple.
-
I want Piggy skin, although that's wishful thinking.

Yea, they're just reskins. As I said, I put quite a lot of BP's into characters I'm not gonna play, be it I don't like their appearance or in terms of killers I don't like their playstyle or as you claimed, being too hard to learn. Not gonna disagree, Nurse is pretty hard, and in DBD as it is now it's not really pleasant to try to learn her is it? With all that teabagging and sht going on.
You see, to get to higher levels with character you kinda need to grab more or less useless things on way in bloodweb too. And as I said, earlier, I've put BP just to get shared perks.
And there you completely missed the point. I'm not about connecting BP's to particular character, as it would make grind even bigger hell, but to counter the argument about items not being shared. Why letting BP's be shared, but not items then yea?
In terms of this example, so you can give people money, but you can't give people items? Where's the logic in that reasoning honestly? And additionally following this, why would killers give money to survivors and vice versa?
You missed the point in my example.
When someone gets an item, you can't force them to give the item to another person just because you gave them the money.
And it kinda just feels like your saying the same thing but just speaking with a higher vocabulary, so I'll do the contrary for you.
You spend money on character, so you get perks. So then you get items for character, so it forces you to take you out of your comfort character with all perks to spend time on other character with less perks and so less availability. It's a great system BHVR has that could also encourage you to level up that character, too. And maybe buy cosmetics for them.
From a developer standpoint, it makes sense to have a pool of items set to that character.
-
Wait... People want hag nerfed? I thought the only real hag "nerf" was to deactivate traps around a hook while and a few seconds after an unhook. (That was in Otz's community patch)

My point is we all know how tiresome the grinding in this game is. I have most characters lvled up just to 40lvl so I have theirs sharable perks, but I'm rarely playing Nurse for example (let's guess why). So I put over 1kk bloodpoints just to have her perks, but could use her 100% BP Offerings for example, as they're not ever gonna be used at this point.
And why would it be bad if you had 1lvl character, but with all items? Survivors are basically just reskins anyways aren't they. Also if we're going by this logic, why aren't BP's connected to particular character you obtained them with? Second also, nowhere in my earlier post have I said anything about shared perks.
That was to give a point, not everything has to align with your original post. And if you have all the survivors with all their perks, what's the problem with swapping survivors if they're, and I quote, "Just reskins." I understand why you may not play Nurse (I know why, she's too hard to play for you) but if you never planned to use her, why try and get those items in the first place?
And bloodpoints aren't tied to a character because they're earned on an account, not a character. That's like asking, "Why can't I use Iridescent shards on the character I earned them with?" or "Why can't I only spend Auric Cells on the character I had equipped when I bought them?"
Here's a good example:
You can give money to people. They get their own stuff with the money. Another person they don't know also receives money from you. Why would they share those items they bought?
-
Other offerings only change the game slightly/give bloodpoints, and now moris function the same.
And yes. The whole point is to level up those characters, not have a complete pool of items. Otherwise you could use all the items and bp offerings on the survivor and use that survivor because they could be low leveled or have a limited pool of perks. But if you have all the perks unlocked on every survivors, you may ask, then what's the point of not pooling. Why would you complain then?
-
yeah no I'm fine I don't wanna be told "how to play the game" every time I play killer or using "too many" crutch perks on survivors I won't bother to level up more
-
Terrible, horrible, no-good, and very bad.
Lithe
Dance with me
Quick and quiet
Head-on
This could work in one of two ways:
you quick and quiet over a window, boil over and lithe activate, and you get away because they presume you went into the locker. OR:
You quick n quiet and head-on
its a great mindgame

Really all I can say is increasing the stalk in tier 1

I like the idea but I also wanna keep the aura reading aspect, but I REALLY like the removal of hatch opening.

It's great
