thats exactly what i mentioned in the video, i made a recent post about his height with the comparison picture and someone said that a lead gameplay programmer mclean or sth is his name, said they will fix this in the upcoming patch and i dont see anything yet.
McLean said blight FOV is intended but a lot of people have been asking for it so it's taken into consideration. He hasn't confirmed anything.

LOL
We must carefully document this process.
And proper termination procedures should be followed in the event of a containment breach.
-
Devs said they will consider increasing his FOV height. They didn't say it's coming just yet though. And if performance with him I'd quite good then we really might not see it.
I wish we do though.
-
Nerf pls 🙄
-
It's still a good addon...
Edit: 8m? Well I'm not so sure now. Pretty sure it'll be balanced though.
-
Killers aren't the host. The servers are dedicated. I think you are talking about hit registration. Yes, its somewhat based on your position wrt the killer.
Until hit validation is introduced, you will have to deal with it.

Why would you want the option to opt out of SWF? you do realize if the Devs implemented that into the game almost all of the killers would have that option turned off and you would be getting easy 4K’s ALL THE TIME. As someone who’s been playing this game for almost 2 years and plays both sides equally, (killer more actually) It’s good to go against a challenge once in a while or else it gets boring killing survivors that don’t know what they’re doing. If you find yourself going against tough SWF’s a lot either take a break or simply just dodge. I would say bring a mori but I’m actually against moris.
I've made a poll regarding it and apparently over 50% of people will not opt out against SWF.

They're basically the same concept, but Blight is a better execution. An M1 Killer with high mobility to get around the map and find chases. The difference is that Wraith's power is literally just mobility, while Blight's is much more versatile because its mobility and helps in chases.
I bet in a speed run test Blight could see a Survivor on BBQ and zoom across the map to start a chase with them faster with Wraith could. If you really wanted to see the parallels, you could give Blight the add-on that makes him undetectable while rushing (Vigo's Jornal) than he'd literally just be better Wraith.
Even with both speed add-ons, I don't think wraith's speed goes past 200%. Base blight is definitely much faster.

you can leave safely after/during last swing when bubba is still locked in animation for another second. Shame on you for not knowing it.
I don't think you can. If you spam M1 while you're in tantrum, bubba will instantly grab you and it's technically impossible to get out of that situation. Especially when the survivor can't tell how long he'll be in tantrum
-
@Justalittlepeeck said:
Windows, lockers
Lockers arent safe vs a bubba. He can always go into tantrum in front of locker and you'll never get out alive

And yet i’m getting downs from it all the same. Go figure.... this “crap” perk is ending chases faster.
That only tells me that you are not going against good survivors. And against them, even clown would be OP.

The part where pallets are pretty much a survivors primary defence.
You forgot about the part where it only lasts for 15 seconds and survivors get a sprint burst and killer gets a cooldown upon hitting the survivor which more than allows for the survivor to run beyond 16m.

Do you also play survivor?
Does having pallets blocked more frequently than every 40 seconds sound balanced to you?
Why would it not be balanced? I don't see any scenario where it will be too strong. Care to fill me in?

Thank you guys for the ideas but did forget to mention only dlcs I have are darkness and lullaby. Honestly it will probably huntress because I think the blight is not good because it is just a feral frenzy speed buff, but still thank you. Ps heartbound I like the pokemon reference.
Thats what I thought at first but blight turned out to be super fun. He has strong perks, his rush is much faster than legion's and he has insane map pressure. Don't count him out just yet.
You can use his rush in so many places like killer shack and so many other loops.
-
It might be too strong. Even if you miss the rush, you can always M1 them. Besides the rush is about prediction and not reaction. He'll be too strong if he can do a 90 degree flick.
-
Yeah..it's a well known issue. Hotfix very soon. Like tomorrow soon.
-
Not as much as I hit skill checks with unnerving presence.
-
Why even give the perk a cooldown when it's a hex??

It makes no sense to balance killers around a strong 4-man SWF when a strong 4-man SWF is exceedingly rare, and neglects the current situation with solo queuers. The devs have repeatedly shown that, statistically, well over 2 survivors are killed each game - it's usually closer to 3. So what you're saying is likely not a statistically significant issue.
What about survivors throwing the game trying to rescue someone and failing and the killer ending up getting a 2k or more which he didnt deserve?
Game shouldn't be balanced around SWF. But that doesn't mean SWF itself shouldn't be nerfed to make them in line with solo players.
-
It's a shame that it isn't in the game already. It benefits so many different groups of people. Both casuals and veterans.
-
Its good for blight
-
The second they give out legacy skins, it's value and elitism will drop significantly.

And mine.
I rate her consistent, solid B. She's waaaaay stronger than people admit. Just marred by RNG.
Her RNG is the biggest issue everyone has.

It doesn't work with Haunted Ground, or Lullaby, or Devour Hope.
It's medicore with Third Seal.
It does much the same thing as Thrill and Retribution in protecting totems/punishing their loss.
Blood Favour is #########.
It hasn't "revitalised hex meta," it JUST protects Ruin even more, and makes NOED harder to prevent.
Why does it not work with haunted grounds?
-
I really don't see how billy is better than blight pre-nerf. They both function differently. Also, blight is decent at indoor maps.

Honestly, I'm waiting for the day where the survivors realize how ######### easy it is to track spirit on grassy maps.
Grassy maps benefits spirit. Not the survivors.

Its made that way read hints when you play her. Its said you can fake you are using your power to get a hit.Spirit is mindgame as trapper guiding surv to your traps.
I know it's meant that way. But it was a hint that the devs added along with the release of spirit and devs have no clue how strong it can be back then. It's totally absurd to point out a hint that the devs added way back. She has that ability, and she is strong. So she needs nerf and it's a good nerf for her. You can still mindgame...but at the cost of her power.
Besides, you can tell whether or not trapper is trying to push you to a pallet a fair bit. You can never tell when a spirit is phasing or not reliably. Also, trapper isnt spirit level. That's how balance should be looked it. Not comparing it to a weaker killer who has a similar mindgame.
-
That addon is a deterrant for some people. I wouldn't want it base kit
-
What does it do?
-
There are a lot of tricks you can do with him. Like getting OVER loops from a hill and using his rush on killer shack. As time passes, they will become commonplace. Maybe...
-
Ahh..so you're redefining. I thought you were telling us what a basic attack means.
-
I really don't know how strong he is but I know one thing. He's super fun to play as and has insane map pressure. Even indoors (only played hawkins so not sure about other maps).
-
Blight's lethal rush isn't basic attack...or is it?
-
The PTB they released wasn't really close to the launch patch. They did a lot of changes and they did not update PTB to test them out. Which is why there's so many bugs. They need to update PTB continuously. What's the point of not letting consoles have access to PTB when it is not getting updated continuously.

I truly believe this would help the longevity of the game and make survivors play to their full potential. DS, DH, BT and UB are no longer necessary to win matches once you play perkless for a while.
I wouldn't disagree with your statement but the issue is if killers know that there is no BT and DS, then there is nothing stopping them from playing scummy and tunnel people out. Even if you don't do that, when you're in a position that is almost impossible to win, you will resort to such tactics to have a chance.
You might have played survivor games without BT and DS to prove that it is possible but the thing is the killer doesn't know you are playing that way. He expects BT and DS and so he plays the optimal way and not tunnel. Killers expect it because its meta.

Just installed 4.2.0 and the Blight DLC on my PC and the fps has dropped to 1. Yes 1. On the previous version I was running at 60fps no problem.
I heard of issues on xbox; which I also have. However, I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
I have a ticket in and support is looking into it. Hopefully they will sort out the issue soon. But I was curious if anyone else is having problems on the PC with the new update?
I play on low (because of PC specs) and for some reason the map is brighter which I don't like. Ultra is darker and medium is slightly darker than low. They need to adjust it so it doesn't give any gameplay advantage.
Also, my FPS feels fine.
-
Undying is like DS for survivors. Killers expect DS and so they play around it by slugging and not picking up even though survivor doesnt have DS. If this perk becomes meta which I see it can, survivors will start to cleanse dull totems even though the killer doesn't have undying. I think it's fair.
-
I think blight is a decent killer. Mid tier I would say. He struggles at loops but he's powerful immediately AFTER you weaken the loop (breaking pallet)

I played some matches today and something was REALLY off. My sounds were janked as heck. I played against a PH and everytime he did his M2, I could hear it map wide.
Same with Oni. Everytime he was stunned, roared, collected blood, and his footsteps during Blood Fury. I know his roaring should be map wide but it sounded DIRECTLY behind me even though I was across the map.
And some of the killers footsteps were off. They always sounded father or closer than they actually were. It made me either throw a pallet early or not reach one in time.
Bubba's chainsaw had the same issue in PTB. Not sure now though.
-
Is it though? For me, everything is brighter than it was in PTB. What graphic settings are you playing with.
-
Just remove no mother and use self care. Keep yourself at 99%. No matter how you choose to use NM, it will still weaken you.
-
A TL;DR would be nice but yeah..perk tiers should go.
-
It seems to be a crutch addon for killers. It was an ultra rare in PTB so I'm not sure what the Devs were thinking. 6s is too much and shouldn't be a green.
Ultra rare for this add-on makes sense. The exposed one should be purple. And the one that replenishes all charges should be green
Pair it up with the pallet breaking one and it's a really oppressive build.
-
I don't really mind having breakable walls. They're kinda decent but I wouldn't be surprised if survivors will be allowed to break them walls with a perk soon.
-
@Auron471 said:
has anyone done undying haunted grounds yet?
I've done it twice. In both games it went off twice. Had only tier 1 haunted so it's 80s exposed but at different times.
-
his exposed one is not the best. The other one is way too powerful especially combined with aura revealing addon. Here's my suggestion
Give hindered effect to the exposed ultra rare and remove it from the pallet breaking one. Then increase aura reading addon rarity to purple. Make the addon that replenishes charges when you hit with lethal rush green rarity.
-
I do think nurse is harder. But like ad said, it's personal opinion.
-
He's not the strongest killer out there. Maybe with right addons he is but not otherwise. But he's hella fun to play with and against. Very unpredictable because of his speed.
-
Try moving back to get rid of prompt and then going forward. It worked for me. Only happened once for me though.
