Almo is 100% in a NDA and he said so himself before the incident. Spamming him with the same thing that the Devs are already working on to get an answer might put him into trouble if he slipped. No wonder he got pissed.

That you can actually loop a pallet instead of instantly dropping them.
-
You forgot that the hatchet is a ranged weapon.
-
I mean if he did get addons as base he might be really strong/frustrating when this buffed wraith uses addons. Purple is too much I feel. A little lower value than green might be a decent start.
-
100% oni for me. I can't even think of a second.

I am playing mostly Solo Q and since some time in 2019 it's only been fun to play Killer, because as survivor one knows the outcome before the game has even started (unless ranking system didn't work). (Nearly) Every game is a 4K (I am counting a survivor finding hatch before the killer as 4K as well, cause it's pure luck). I am wondering how the experience is for Solo Q players in other ranks as the latest stats are showing a little lower kill rates. So I am excited to hear the experiences of other ranks.
I've been having fair matches as both survivor and killer. I don't really blame or care about my teammates or look to see how they perform. I just go for the pip.

Trapper can already reset traps, what do you mean?
Previously he had to pick up trap and then place it back down. Now he can reset it while it's on the ground.
-
It's too late for the game to go the route of giving unique survivor abilities. It would hurt the balance tremendously. But I wouldn't mind some voice lines.
-
I dont think the devs will actually change how the power works. But I had a different idea that doesn't involve much RNG.
Right now it takes from 4-16 boxes that survivors need to search to find a key. Instead of making it RNG based, make it so it takes 2/2/3/3 or 1/2/3/4 box searches (set decided when the game starts and no one knows it) for all RBT's to be removed. The order of whether to search 1,2,3 or 4 boxes for the first helmet is RNG based but the total number of boxes to be searched to remove helmet will be exactly 10. This keeps the thrilling aspect where you may or may not get the trap off from the box you were searching while at the same time not make the killer's power be RNG reliant as you can predict as a killer how much time the traps will waste. Also 10 crates is the average of 4 and 16 which is how it currently works.

Just something to really occurred to me today. I rarely go against PC players anymore. Maybe every other match will have one, and all four will be PC once in a blue moon, but for the most part, I'm against console players. Not that I care one way or another, but it does make me curious where the PC playerbase went.
I mean there is PS4/PS5 + XBox one/Series X/S + Switch + Stadia + Windows Store players vs the steam players so the population should be higher. I could be wrong though.

If you guys are having such a hard time regaining momentum, then clearly, you're doing something wrong.
If you are having such a easy time giving away 5x4 seconds for free and still be able to come back then you are surely not going against good enough survivors.

I guess you just eat the DS and never worry about it from that Survivor again? If they do that, they're basically giving you their perk. When thats done you can easily catch up again and punish them for it. That little victory is awful puny when you're getting your chest caved in by the entity two minutes later.
This doesn't take into account that there can be 4 DS's in a match and the time it takes to regain the lost momentum.
-
People don't do that always. Only if they face killers like trapper, wraith, nurse, hillbilly, huntress, Myers, pig, cannibal, Freddy, hag, doctor, clown, spirit, legion, plague, demogorgon, ghostface, oni, deathslinger, pyramid head, blight or the twins.
-
What's wrong with... Aeth..er..byte?
-
DS prevents tunneling? True. But what do you do about survivors who WANTS to get tunneled and hit you with a DS? They can force a hook/gen grab or go inside a locker for immunity while working on their objective without healing. They can just body block you while you are on another survivor and just get up with UB while the other two work on gens and the person you were chasing will be long gone.
I understand that DS is needed. But this version is just overkill and easily abused

Not until the new MMR system is implemented. As it stands now, it's a hard no. Red ranks are gaming the matchmaking with alt accounts.
I don't see what it has to do with having bloodpoint hunt weekends. It's a solid idea imo but am I missing something here?
-
Actually not a bad idea. It's not the best exhaustion perk out there so might as well make it something like quick and quiet.
-
Playing twins is definitely fun. The issue is twins is really good at downing survivors but the time it takes to reach the downed survivor's location compensates for it. Survivor has to lick the ground until the killer arrives and it's a long boring travel time for the killer.
-
..
-
They will be introducing an MMR system next patch which means rank shouldn't matter anymore and you should go against people of your skill more consistently. That's theoretical though and you never know.

Sorry, but only if this isnt scheduled in the survey doesn't stop me from bringing this up.
Even if it is not put into the game in the near future, idea's can be discussed, don't you agree?
Fair point
-
I don't think the devs will put time and effort into this anytime soon. The survey might give you a small insight of what the devs might plan to do in the future.
-
I'm fine with perks or addons having exhaustion. I just don't think huntress needs them. Also 90 second exhaustion is ridiculous. 5 seconds is much more sufficient.

I’d hope for a buff to the crouch and ambush plus addons i don’t mean a full rework lol
I hope the add-ons will give an upgrade to her crouching part of her kit.

I don't think 2nd Wind issue was the the healing time, but the activation condition. It's an ok buff, but not the buff that makes it palatable.
This. I am usually working on a generator while I let second wind heal me and even if the killer chases me I can buy myself enough time to heal. But the annoying part is healing a survivor. Removing the condition would make it OP but I wish the condition is a little bit more easier to achieve.

wkwkw. im sorry i forget i am talking to BHVR not to EA Games lol
Do you think EA will let you do that without having to pay a fortune first?
-
I would take it slow with wraith to not boost him over the top. Remember that he is a popular new player's killer choice (because he's free) and buffing him too much would make it unfair for newer players.

"for no other reason than the luls"
That's enough reason to keep doing it.
Chill, it's just a game.
'luls' at the cost of another player's experience? By this logic, people who cheat in video games and have fun are allowed to do so just because 'it's a game'. If there are rules, they should apply for everyone else regardless of who they are.
-
Speed limiter is actually a really good way to pip with bubba. If survivor is outpositioned, you should be able to down them quickly even with speed limiter. Maybe speed limiter with iri flesh if you feel it's difficult.

Oh definitely. Back when Spirit was a huge problem I got into the habit of using Iron Will. You definitely need to shore up your weak points in the game. Having a specific perk loadout is part of that. Sure, you may not even run into the problematic killer or survivor matchup, but perks are part of the game strategy.
That said the actual advice given wasn't really helpful. Didn't even mention what perk to use and how to use it to keep tabs on Freddie.
Object of obsession against Freddy is technically wallhacks.

It's a buff to its combo with devour, 3rd seal + lullaby
It's a nerf to its combo with ruin, blood favor (lol) and probably haunted grounds
Depends on how undying works with haunted. If they break a totem and they get exposed, as long as haunted totem is still in play its a buff. Otherwise it hurts haunted user to run undying.

I don't think the devs will remove the cap but increasing the limit would be a good idea. Maybe 100k cap increase per devotion?

I think buckle up is worse but ok, I've seen people use up the ante in kobe builds (slippery meat, up the ante and luck offerings)
buckle up does something. Up the ante doesn't. It's utterly useless except for the kobe part and you still will not jump off.

So.. Killers.. can you explain something to me? Yes we all know by now, you guys want DS nerfed.. But do you guys even realize that the sole reason the perk even exists to begin with is due to the way a lot of Killers play? If you didn't resort to tunneling, survivors would have never needed it to begin with.
As a killer main, I've never once had an issue with DS. Why? Because i'd rather lose knowing I refused to tunnel someone.
And we know, we know.. You had that 1 rare occurrence where you downed 4 survivors in 60 seconds but still got hit with DS and that survivor was able to loop you for 5 gens, save all of his teammates and escape.
You're the one that makes the choice to tunnel someone and eat their DS, when instead you could just slug them and create even more pressure. If they have UB? So be it.. that was still 40 seconds that they were out of the game.
DS gives you 60s of invulnerability and they can do anything they want with that time. Gens? Totems? Hook saves in front of killer? Anything. Killer is coming? Jump inside locker and buy other 3 survivors time. Go down? Use UB. Only thing it wastes is the killer's time while 3 other survivors are on gens.
DS is clearly overtuned and there are a lot of ways to force killer to take one and it definitely needs to be a proper anti-tunnel perk. If it does start becoming one, I wouldn't even mind it being base kit.
-
Bring spine chill and perks that counter ghostface. You will stop going against him then because that's how life works.
-
Why not just give the same skillchecks from pyramid head's cages. It also stops people from killing themselves on 2nd stage on command.
-
If you use an hex perk and undying, then it's essentially two hex totems for your hex perk.
-
No official date so far but based on previous releases, it should be Jan 12 on PTB and 3 weeks later on live.

No it's not about that. I don't mind change at all but the new HUD is terrible. I've seen the mockups made by the DbD community and they look ten times better than what BHVR came up with.
I hope they will allow you to customize location of HUD elements soon.

First I dont think that the antidote will be easier as you need placement AND timing to use it, second I still think that my numbers are correct, regarding same chase time reduction but bigger chance to make it to a save spot
Agreed. It requires experience and isn't free. Which is a good design.

They could have been working on it even before they decided to rework blight's POV.

I just thought that you could also use the afterpiece tonic as a kind of budget agitation.
Throw it on the downed survivor, pick him up and use the speed boost to carry them faster to hooks
(Normal carrying speed: 3,68 m/s;
with the tonic effect : 4,05 m/s)
Actually an interesting idea. Would be funny if you get hit by a DS.
Edit: Also does that mean if you have agitation and antidote haste, you move at 4.7 m/s?
-
Killer : 1-10 seconds.
Survivor: 1-2 minutes.

@TheClownIsKing said:
I am a long time killer and I simply do not understand how so many killers can get upset about DS.
The devs won’t change it because the survivor can only use it ONCE. This means the absolute MAXIMUM amount of times a killer can be stunned by it is 4.
Just eat the stun. It’s really not that crippling. That survivor is now vulnerable for the remainder of the trial.
Eating one DS is incredibly crippling and I've lost momentum just because of one DS that I was forced to take because he just ran in front of me for hook save.
