i only like the "Generators regress 5% upon being broken" i hate the rest. A lot of these are touching stuff that don't need to be touched.
-
variety
-
no, even if was, proving it would be hard.
-
i dont think that would even be physically possible.
-
WoO is the kind of perks that most experience players dont use because they can easily play without it. But unlike garbage like Deja Vu you still have a good reason to keep using it.

They answered this before with a "due to the short nature of dbd games and how long it takes to reboot the game after you're kicked, it'd be a waste of resources to try"
Not a word for word quote but that's the gist.
i agree with BHVR, all thats going to happen is when a killer reconnects is go back to a game that's already over.

what?! you want some MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAR?!

They do, but like many other people he won’t admit it.
The forums have become a cesspool for people like that person.
eeeh its actually worse on reddit

no, BHVR is fully aware that Nurse, has a unorthodox playstyle and learning curve. BHVR is just afraid of creating a game where survivors auto lose when the killer gets their first hook.

Not the point of this post. Point being that hackers are just really annoying to face and they shouldn't be in the game.
And as I said before, I was having issues with the game before the whole hacker game, so that's why I have to wait so long. Not complaining about my wait time, just about the hackers that ruin the game.
yea i dont think anyone thinks hackers should stay in the game
-
before i would agree "boring" gets used a lot for "i do not like" but now "boring" get used more accurately since well a lot players are using the same builds, playing the same way, the same flow and repeat. we are this l----l close to bingo sheets.
-
this is a common issue with live service games
-
erase everyone's memory of the game and make them play it again.
-
i would be willing to accept a COH revert if boons would break when snuffed.

Yeah, has happened a few times for me.
Feels like I got the stun here, tho it may have been a fraction of a second too early?
i dont blame you for being confused but you did it before the head tilt was done

the vocal on this game is 100% anti game, I consider this even as powerful as cheat software, already that the map + perk of the survivors are ultra op, you add team + vocal and the killers can not do much except nurse but you have killers who hate killers op.
it would be time to do something because I am persuaded that killers stop the game because of the teams
not only this is impossible but even if they could do anything, there will be guaranteed alternatives.
-
Its Meta, so the solution is a total rework of the game balance.
-
NOED is not meta, Iron Will is good but it wont replace the current top tier set. I am slightly indifferent to dead hard but if they want to shut down all the infamy it has, they will have to to completely rework the perk because I cant see any functional way to nerf it.

It's not team oriented when I'm stuck with survivors who don't know how to take a protection hit or won't let me jump a pallet, then leave me on hook to die from first hook.
Almost every single game the past month I have been getting matched with survivors that don't know what they're doing.
So I'll play how I want, even if it makes no sense just to be able to play with others who know how to play.
play how you want but then dont complain that the system doesn't favor you.
-
because survivor is a team oriented role. stop obsessing over your MMR, its not worth it.
-
Look away
-
I cannot understand how pissy people get over discussion of balance. The DBD is the only community I have interacted that is completely unable to keep things civil and constructive. There is not a single platform for to have an opinion about DBD.
-
I despise the DBD but i disagree that its narcissistic. the community is arrogant, toxic, childish and shortsighted but not narcissistic.
-
always been a thing, some players are objectively bad
-
yes, players are running meta builds

Like zoning by faking shreds or flashing it and going for an m1.
i see but doesn't he hiss like a snake when is going for a lunge? Thats what i use as a warning.

The most complaints I've heard was about him flashing his power like deathslinger could. But I mean... I can see where they're coming from, but I don't really think that part is a problem.

what?
-
Typical DBD community excusing its degeneracy by trying to shift the blame into impersonal behavior that is done solely to achieve a win.
-
take a break, i do it constantly, all the crap becomes way more tolerable when you play the game on occasions.
-
because you are ending a chase "early", the killer that can't instadown as to put more "work" into downing a survivor so the system is trying to reflect that.
-
unfortunately you will have to get used to it because camping has unironically become meta.
-
they did balance patch for killers in the last midchapter update and the latest update have been bugfixes because they're not midchapter updates, the last killer has been out for 10 days.

I just check for private profiles anymore.
well ######### everyone is going to think I'm a hacker now
-
I think this strategy should be addressed because its involves "not playing" the game while giving a chance of getting all 4 opponents an outcome that is left to chance, it objectively takes no skill, the sad part is the game already discourage players from doing this.
-
@BenZ0 said:
Since you can literally get banned for "too many hacker reports" I am not bothering anymore, I just report them now over steam (if possible ofc).
guess I am going to sleep now since my fun from dbd is getting ripped away from me again... gn8 everyone
what do you mean too many hacker reports? on steam or on DBD? just to warn you dont bother reporting them on steam it wont do anything.
-
i don't care.
-
to me camping is boring. If you want to camp , go ahead but if looping stresses you out i think its time to stop playing the game. You lose NOTHING in this game from a defeat. its a video game not your job.

i still like legion

I was under the impression if you turn on dbd and immediately turn it off. Steam considers you an "active player". Which is why login rewards screw with the charts.
players are have to be active within an hour interval, for exemple i just opened the game today to get the login, use the blood points on sadako and closed the game, steamcharts wont count me as an active player since i left before the system could check for me.
-
@EvilJoshy said:
Login rewards, to me at least, feel like a means to screw with the steam charts to hide the fact the chapter wasnt well received.
the funny thing is it doesn't, steamcharts allows to be precises' enough to know if the players are actually playing or just logging in and exiting, which is why steam charts is useful for grasping how active a community is on MMOs that are on steam.

My best example of them ignoring or downplaying things would be most questions on the Q&A livestream. I haven't watched it for a while so I can't list specifics but I remember vividly them downplaying big critiques or ignoring big questions. And no, there was nothing wrong with the wording of the deleted posts I've seen. They were just closed or deleted for no reason.
sorry but you are giving me nothing but "trust me bro".

My point is that there are genuine critiques, and yet they get ignored, downplayed, or flat out deleted.
ignored? maybe, sometimes they have to be tight lipped on certain things so we dont know if they are aware about until it pops on the stream
downplayed? like what?
deleted? no, they don't, If its deleted its because of how its was posted.
-
silence heathen, i am the god tier MMR elo god player, you will bow down before my superiority and shall not refute anything I post.
-
they do but maybe if there where less dumb questions asking for dumb thing like seeing a male survivors genitals, it would be more noticeable.

There's not even an exploit to abuse, it's literally just an overpowered combination of perks.
its not intended, no description from either perk imply it should allow this to happen, this is clearly a bug so yes its an exploit.
-
@Sluzzy said:
It is not a big deal, the killer can see the survivor auras. It is not game breaking enough to warrant killswitching it.
Besides, the two perks are useless on their own.
the killer can't see the aura because OoO is only meant to show the killer Aura when the killer can see the survivor Aura ( every 30 seconds at least depending on killer build), so while the survivor can see the killer's aura permanently the killer can only see the survivor's aura on certain ocassions
also no these perk don't suck, blood pack is great and OoO is a good risk reward perk

Camping in and of itself doesn't need a reason. Some people do it cuz it's necessary, others do it to ######### around. You shouldn't cover people's eyes and tell them that it only happens in a specific situation just to create an alibi for them.
The act of camping is literally holding the game hostage of a player who does not have any other means to alleviate the situation, except to wait and die out or hold out for a fellow player to come get them.
FYI: holding a game hostage doesn't point to a specific premise. If a game halts for someone by another person's influence in a negative way, that's LITERALLY holding the game hostage for that person.
your FYI is false information
holding a game hostage is a term that even predates DBD, its used for when players intend to prevent a game from ever ending, it has been used in other game. Camping someone in DBD means they are are on a timer in witch they will eventually die, meaning the killer cannot prevent the game from ending.
-
a huge surge of players came to DBD because of the RE chapter
