bloodlust is a band aid fix, once maps will be balanced enough it will go away
-
could be like league where its almost worthless if you're honoring someone in your premade group
-
BBQ & Chilli reveals survivor for 4 seconds, Deerstalker reveals dying survivors until they are healed back up
-
>1.Its not a problem with the game its a problem with the community. There are too many survivors queuing compared to killers. So telling BHVR to "fix the queue times" it useless.
Yes it is a problem with game, each match need five players, 4 survivors and 1 killer, so there's always a good chance of there being more survivors than killers. the biggest problem is the matchmaking system and rank distribution of survivors vs the rank distribution of killers, there are many red rank survivors and few red rank killers due to how easy it is to rank up as survivors vs how perfect you have to be as killer. Another issue is SWF matchmaking, usually SWF will have different ranks and the game just eventually goes [muh bad word] it and match them with the first killer they can find (the dev tried an MMR system but it failed, i have heard no news about it since then).
>2.You want to know why everyone plays survivor compared to killer? Killer is 1000x more stressful and 1000x less fun compared to survivor games. Especially compared to survivor SWF games.
that's an issue with the game.
>3.If you don't like long queues go help the problem by playing killer. Or keep playing survivor and t bag every killer at the exit gates. Soon they will swap to survivor too and your queues will keep getting longer.
Toxicity while more common in survivors is still present with killers.

the devs are already planning to remove bloodlust once the maps are all reworked, also OoO is balanced when used by solo, i would go as far as to say its a pretty bad perk, because it can screw over your teammates. The problem is the SWF that abuse it with voice communication, something that the game is not balanced with that in mind.

literally no one cares about pipping beyond 200 hrs
i do, because it affects who i play against and with, i took massive breaks from the game and i had to play with terrible teammates against terrible killers. resulting in frustrating where surv insist on self caring themselves when im right next to them after i unhooked them, game where they do nothing (had one game yesterday with a Nea was bordeline afk, she had the crows and the killer ignored her for almost all of the match, and then the Nea went down in less then 10 seconds after she finally got caught), killers who camp because they don't know any better or games where the killer eats [poopoo] and fails to kill anyone. I almost always manage to escape but the experience during is not "this was tough but i pulled trough" but instead "[fornication] this match was pain in the [posterior] can't wait to get back to purple/red ranks". Otherwise there's my game as killers but im too busy grinding BP as surv (getting a match is very fast compared to killer) to care about those. maybe once they bring back the MMR system i will stop caring

the only thing that "we" hate is ebony mori, i don't even mind Ivory and no one is going to take someone who complains about cypress seriously.

Detective hunch, turns NOED into a joke
Inner Strength turn NOED into a survivor perk
Small Game turns NOED into an easy objective

Again killer mindset needs to change. Thinking 4k is only win is very naive and generally sums up the try hard killer mentality. Even professional DBD players know and have admitted that in some cases a 2k can be considered a win.
As for holding game hostage both sides can do same thing. I have seen killers protect 3 gen situations (like in azeroth) and simply camp and wait for survivors to come to them. Then the try hard killer complains u r suppose to finish gens. My response is killers suppose to hunt down their prey as well so like I said it goes both ways. Killer mains need to start playing other side, survivors too, and stop bitching.
I hear too many sides on both saying DS, UB too op but they say ruin/undying is perfectly normal. I hear survivors cry about tunnel and camping, so just run DS UB BT but then I get back to the killer crying. My response is just learn to deal with it and stop being the 90% potatoes in this game.
At this point you're just repeating yourself, you got more than enough reply to explain why some consider 4k a win. Also the killer patrolling gens after survivors 3 gen themselves is holding the game hostage? really going to say that?
this post is not about DS/UB debate, no reason to bring it up

So instead of getting a slap on the wrist for DC'ing from time to time, i get a 12 HOURS ban for crashing or for forgetting to check the integrity of game files after an update or get voted it out by players who want to meme and platform elitist.

DS is fine. Eat it early, or slug them until it's deactivated. It's not that hard to do either option and this is something you all should be doing as killers anyways. Works for all ranks as well. Prepare for it, anticipate if and plan ahead for it. Use that noodle.
@corrupted1 said:
DS is fine as is it doesn't need a Nerf again or a buff😖. People just need to stop complaining about DS and play better it's not that hard just eat DS early or just down them for a bit then grab them.
Any survivor worth its salt is not going to let you down them again after you ate the DS, DS is not fine because of what you are allowed to do during its duration. (this is literally why they nerfed PGW)

i don't think anyone is complaining about the planned changes for slippery meat.

OP post complaining about a new meta that gives the killer advantages and second chances for free

*Insert counter-"argument" about DS + Unbreakable, possibly with Dead hard + BT / Adrenaline, and then say "Killers finally have a chance" and then assume that every survivor is running this build, also don't forget to complain about SWF"
-unironically try to smugly discredit a valid counter argument against the current survivor meta that allows you get an advantage and second chances for free
-use "not every survivor uses it" argument like it means anything since not every killer is going to run it (not every killer can run it to its potential)
-then finish with something that is commonly complained about thanks to the current state of matchmaking.
here's an idea, how about both builds are bad and trying to defend one while ignoring the other is hypocritical. there's shouldn't be "X is finally strong" it should be "X is finally balanced" , this new build is just one more unhealthy thing to the game.
devs can't nerf one then ignore the other without demonstrating favoritism.

How is DS an issue? Stop. Tunneling. Wow you completely countered the perk by simply chasing someone else. So hard.
"stop tuneling" would be a good counter if DS deactivated while doing things you wouldn't if you where chased (healing repairing or going into lockers)

They Said they will remove it once all the big maps get reworked.
-
Killers are annoying when you can't loop them the same way! Blight is a step in the right direction because he can be looped without effort!
-
Just my hunch but i don't think the aura looking like that is intentional, they reworked it but something went wrong and we got a buggy version.

With no grabs you’ll still have bad saves, but no stand off.
there shouldn't be a standoff in the first place, if killer is camping you should do gen. When you stick near the hook you remove any reason for the killer to go away.
-
I'm not gonna pretend i'm above using keys or morris's but if they are willing to get a 5 min ban for it, its in their rightl. When an Eboni is in play, its often guaranteed that the killer will kill early. Either Eboni Mori need to be nerfed to requiring 2 hooks (still a strong offering since its save you time on finding hooks) or Moris needs to be introduced as some sort of passive that allows survivors to play longer before being killed.

You sound like you don't like having fun while playing the game lol
and of course you know the objective way to have fun. More experienced survivors will do bones on site (because of the points and NOED) and will probably look for the totem if it goes true. NOED is a crutch perk but its not uber OP

yea the power gauge is a bit annoying

The same thing should happen?
I mean, you're purposefuly damaging other people's game by quitting, it makes sense for you to get 0 out of it and the rest to benefit from it.
It's not their fault you're trash-playing anyway, and you clearly couldn't care less what happens in that game after you quit, and not like you can rejoin..
i think the point that the poster is trying to get across is your suggestion is too easily abusable. Currently there are teams that will DC just so one survivor gets the hatch, your suggestion will create something much much worse.

Well idk, that it should be a small effect? something that the player doesn't benefit that much but is there
Am I wrong?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1348404#Comment_1348404
Oh right
Passive with benefits have always been a thing in games, heck in this very game Freddy and Micheal Myers have these kinds of passive
edit: sry for the double post the forum bugged out

- How do you know its a SWF? Killer should not have to pay alot of time checking profiles.
- How do you know they will be toxic?
1: steam profiles you can check friend list, If multiple profiles are private then its a gamble.
2: Steam profile you can check description for hints (yes some people have that big of an ego) or comments (red flag when they come from pissed off survivors)
-
the problem with that idea is it will it will reduce originality of perks combination and increase abuse of strategy like SWF.
-
i agree that "hatch tech" shouldn't be a thing, but can you honestly consider escaping via a teammate dc a win?

Gen speed is fine IMO
