Don't worry guys! Just do literally every single last quest and you'll get it 🤪 lol
-
60/64 completed and still can't unlock the cool moon flowerfield banner even though you only need 48 quests to be completed.
-
Yes I'm having this same issue and time is running out. Stuck at 46/48 even though I've been doing rift quests since yesterday to complete this

Can you elaborate? Which part of his kit do you find annoying/difficult?
The entire design. The entire thing is built to give the killer every single advantage. Can't hold shift for distance, can't use windows, can't use pallets, makes you mend, 0 cooldown on power, THREE CHARGES OF A POWER THAT LETS YOU ACT LIKE THE MAP DOESN'TEVEN EXIST, one charge is able to do literally everything too, 1 charge does everything and they gave him 3 charge with basically 0 doen time. He is able to invalidate the entire system of the game. Every tool you think you have is useless against him. EVERY SINGLE THING. You can do nothing against this killer except disconnect. That's how you can avoid his power, by no longer playing the game. The worst part is that there is no way in hell the developers did not know this when creating Kaneki's kit. A killer should not have 0 weaknesses with a kit that invalidates the ENTIRE system the game is built upon.

For killers yes. Survivors no.
Why?

You say that but the initial thought for characters was only to have 3 perk slots as that is how many perks ever single character has. They definitely added an additional perk slot as 3 was seen as too few at the time. Just like 4 is too few now. 5 is perfect.

And yet being slugged is hated
Yeah because slugging and hooking are completely separate states. We should stop comparing them like they are. Slugging has infinitely more potential to win then hooking does. But slugging is much more of a gamble than hooking. They are different states with pros and cons for both sides.

@LobbyDodgerLeonidas said:
It's a great map for some M1 killers like Clown. You need to rotate quickly to continuously pressure different survivors. Don't respect any pallets, get a couple out of the way, and move on. Don't chase in the ultra safe room above the bathroom unless the pace of the gameplay dictates it won't hurt you too bad. I never have a problem on this map. Otzdarva thinks it's a killer-sided map, and I don't disagree.
This is the answer, learn to drop a chase after a pallet or two. I think perhaps if you're having trouble with the map you're committing too much. Pressure gens and more natural chases will happen, don't force it.

@nars said:
Constant los blockers, a million corners to turn to make blight and wesker infinitely less fun, vaults chaining directly into each other, exit gates miles from each other, like no pallets half the time, and just being so impossible to navigate as survivor. I just hate this map.
Good, those killers suck to play against as a survivor and they deserve to have bad maps like every other damn killer. You think Ghost Face likes Autohaven? Having the enemy see you from 50 miles away as a stealth kill isn't fun for them either.

It doesnt make sense to have an animation that keeps us in the game when it's meant to represent that the game is over.

More like a controller issue. I play on PC with controller and have the same issue. Though, I have the option to just use the keyboard unlike console users.
Aha, its a controller issue. Gotcha.

There's a hack that straight up prevents you from moving but other than that it's manageable with correct strafe timing.
This isnt a hack. It's a console exclusive issue.

Anyone has Boil Over and they don't go down under a hook, they get to bleed out for a while. That's how I've handled it so far.
I've noticed that they've started bringing unbreakable with boil over because they know we cant hook them.
-
@TragicSolitude said:
I have this same problem. It's practically like I'm stuck in place if someone has Boil Over. If a single survivor gets anywhere near me in an attempt to body block, I am stuck in place.
I'm just not going to play killer until this is fix. It's miserable.

Nemesis invalidates loops and encourages just holding forward. That is all I will say.

Gather video evidence and report the players, then open a ticket and tell them you have footage.
Is evidence really enough for something to be done? I've heard horrible things about Dbd's report system so I didnt even bother.
-
@Ryuhi said:
report, and provide video evidence if possible in a support ticket. Deliberately working with the killer is a reportable offense. As for the match itself, just gotta play it out unfortunately.
Okay so if I provide video evidence the account will receive a reprimand? Like a short ban an then continued offense could lead to permanent ban or something? So a ticket is what I'll need to do, okay.
-
I had the exact same experience. After using Head On the exhaustion would timer down as usual but then get to the state shown. It was permanent throughout the match.
-
What? I dont know what that means. Is that an ancient serpent from mythology?
-
Thet put all of Nemesis' power into chase mechanics and then put zombies to "balance" him out. I think if he was done differently to give more map pressure and less chase pressure he would be better overall. I would have scrapped the tier system entirely.

Title: A Sea Serpent
I would love an Ocean monster. I think a sea serpent could be amazing. It's head and neck could be seen from above ground but its body would be seen moving up and down from within the earth, it would have water surrounding the edges of its neck and body. If would have the power to phase into the ground completely and we would see tides of water pool up where it is. This would allow swift movement and the ability to move through terrain. It would be able to move to other sides of loops but have an animation when it comes out of the ground. It would also have whirlpools that it could place while within its power. I think this would be a very fun killer to play and play against.
-
I would like to report I am experiencing the same issue. No matter the score it will sometimes not give you an emblem for Benevolence which leads to black piping.
-
I would like to report that I had the same issue. I waited for around 7 minutes until I had to reset.
-
It also doesnt proc on vaults that are above the ground on this map either. Dont understand why.

I think it just needs to lose the aura reading. Give that to TotH and I'd be satisfied.
To be completely honest it's the Aura reading that I actually hate. It takes all the counterplay away. You cant do any kind of totem without the killer having all this information for no reason.

Slenderman, he would be such a cool concept as a killer.

It's difficult to even call this an event. DBD is really going downhill lately.
To be honest I'm still confused about it all. The skins are very interesting. But if theres not any extra BP or interesting side mini game, I don't see the point of this event and I won't be playing more than average.

I understand and have seen some clever use of putting a generator to 99% or healing to 99% based on perks/builds and I understand why people put gates at 99% (gives more time to save survivor, not trigger certain perks, or more time to troll even)
It just bums me out the gates don't regress a decent speed if let go. Mainly because two killer perks that are questionable useful already have so much less value, and its such an easy tactic to extend the game (and usually only in survivor favor)
maybe this was different in the past, but I'd like to see the gates regress at a moderate pace when let go. (sure sometimes the killer scares someone away) but it would be nice to still see some regression in that scenario.
That is my Ted talk
Open it yourself then. That's all you have to do. 99ing the gate makes the game much more interesting. A gate shouldn't regress. If you're so worried about it then just open it or stand in front of it. This isnt an issue at all.

@OswinPond Already played the killer multiple times since the game came out, just never remember seeing the action button there and originally you couldn't break generators only pallets.
Wraith himself is not under-powered, due to his fast movement speed when cloaked and near invisibility he's the hardest to track and detect. Even his movement speed when uncloaked is still pretty fast.
I don't think you play Wraith enough if you think he's not underpowered. He is one of, if not the weakest killer in the game.

I do agree with this combo, my personal combo is
Blood Pact + Leader
You get tremendous value from Leader due to always being linked to your Obsession.

I saw someone poking on one of the Blight Flower things too (like a Totem). When they were done, it kind of popped and shriveled up.
When I go next to the Blight Flower things, I didn't get a prompt or anything. Anyone know what's up with those Blight Flower things? Do they do stuff or was I somehow seeing things?
I saw that too and thought that was where I could get bloodpoints from. But I didnt get a prompt for anything. I thought someone else already took what it had.

@Boss said:
This is it.
Do you know how much bloodpoints are given that gen? I havent actually seen one yet.

I. Love. Blood Pact.
I adore this perk. It's the only survivor perk that involves YOU having an obsession. You are linked to another player in a way no one else is.
This perk single-handed changes how you and your blood bound recipient play.
You are never alone.
Ps I am very happy my favorite perk is getting a buff.

I find them fun because you can’t treat him like other Killers. Also, he’s the Killer I’ve played the most so I have a better idea of what to expect from a Doctor.
If it’s a Doc that’s trying to force a 3 gen and has a build specifically for that situation, then that gets boring. That sucks with all Killers, but it’s worse on Doc.
Have literally just ran up to a doctor and have him kill me to get out of that hell. So damn boring and unfun.

So I recently started playing Piggy and I'm having a blast with her. She's waaay stronger than people make her out to be if you use her kit strategically. To clarify, my issue does not have to do with how to play her or how to win. I have crossplay disabled and I can consistently win at rank 1 even against strong survivors.
However, my problem comes when I find the first survivor. Let me explain: every other game they'll just crouch in front of me and try to boop the snoot. I didn't mind at all cause I think it's funny and usually what I do is go find the next survivor who's usually nearby. There are some games tho where usually if they're swf, they'll all crouch towards me and straight out chase me around. I ended up farming in several games cause survivors won't take the game seriously at all and I also run Corrupt so my timer is running while they're doing their shenanigans so it's like alright you dingdongs let's do stupid ish. I feel bad taking cheap shots or killing them cause I play survivor too so we farm and it's real funny. They're always really nice in the end game chat too whenever this happens.
Anyway this is probably the best problem that anyone could have on DBD I mean...survivors being friendly towards the killer? Who would have thought. It's just that sometimes I just want to have a normal Piggy game and I'm starting to get tired of people not playing as intended just cause they're going against Amanda...how do you signal to survivors that "okay guys, boopin' time is over let's get into a chase now" and move on to playing normally? Is there any way I can show them that yes they can boop the snoot but I don't wanna farm?
And to those of you who are getting camped, tunneled, genrushed and/or just sick of BHVR...sorry guys maybe I need to check my "Pig privilege" over here lol
Only accept boops towards the end of the match. Not the beginning.

Looks like what I said in my comment went right over your head, woosh!
I'm fine with the ability to stop the killer from tunneling, but if it's an anti-tunnel perk, it shouldn't punish me for not tunneling.
Then I guess you shouldnt have a problem with slugging them then.
Woosh.

Alright, then you should be fine with it deactivating when someone else gets hooked, when a survivor touches a gen, or when the survivor fully healed.
I dont use DS so I dont care. I like the deterent to a killer to not tunnel if there is an obsession of course. There isnt any reason to nerf it though. I was waiting for a substantial arguement but you still havent provided anything other than "DS bad, me cant tunnel with DS >:("

@TransverseCaster said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1646412#Comment_1646412
Couple problems....:
1) The person with DS can body block. Or do gens, and there is nothing a killer can do about it.
2) There is no timer or clock to tell if DS is still up. Cannot tell you how many times I thought I was safe or watched someone who thought the same and sure enough it is still up. 60 seconds is way too long. In one game I was sure I was winning I had three people hooked at once. I had to eat three DS back to back to back because I couldn't remember which one did not have it. It hurts killers who are just really good.
3) If there are multiple costumes it is very difficult to tell who may or may not have it.
DS from one person is not that big of an issue. Two or more rapidly becomes a huge deal. There are already half a dozen other anti-tunneling perks that you can use without crutching on DS.
It's called Slugging. Ds doesnt prevent you from hitting then. Slugging also creates pressure. It's not hard my dude. You just play around ds like an other perk.
-
@Leachy_Jr said:
More people need to understand that last sentence. We aint complaining because pop is now a bad perk (which it isn't, it's still pretty good), we complain because they focused on a perk that isn't an issue instead of perks that are an issue like DS and OoO.
Good for bringing up OoO, I completely forgot that perk existed.
How is DS an issue? Stop. Tunneling. Wow you completely countered the perk by simply chasing someone else. So hard.
-
You have to hold it down now. It's so weird. Took me a few hooks to realize.

I mean you know why. They are trying to get them to swing. That's it. Bad idea but I mean whatever floats their boat.
