If the killer sees you he should be able to catch you and you should be able to evade him a little bit. All they need to do is fix the maps. The maps are awful in this game.https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/25540/perks-and-balance#latest

A lot of the time when it comes to debates about balance, some people show up and rant about "it's not about the perks … balance is about the maps … perks are fine as they are".
If that would be the case, why do I always have hard games and multiple escapes when I see in the post match scoreboard a crap ton of meta perks mostly at tier 3, but I have easy games with multiple kills if they have "other perks" and hardly any meta stuff? -

You just described the core idea behind GEN RUSH!
Being on different gens each survivor working alone is the most efficient way to do the gens super fast.Gen rushing is going to happen, it just is, unless you create a killer designed around gen control like pic or doc etc with build in gen protection you're gonna get rushed.
Ok, so you have no clue what gen rush is, huh?
You think "doing the objective" is already gen rush, ok, fine. -

First of all, they need to fix the acceleration on his chainsaw attack. Once it get fixed, his power will be more reliable and succesful.
What exactly is wrong with his acceleration? I only know that McLean once said, that his acceleration AddOns do something, if you know what are you looking for, but are more useless in sense of game feel and actual impact.
Leatherface's acceleration during the chainsaw attack is bugged, thus he is slower than he should be while using it (he doesn't really go back from 87% m.s. to 115, but he gets "stuck" between +/-107% and +/- 113% until the end of the attack), and he may happen to lose a lot of speed if he makes sharp turns. His chili addons appear to be bugged because of this reason, because Leatherface himself is bugged.
Is this a "known bug"?
I have never heard the Devs talking about that, or saying anything about they at least "look into it".
Ok, otherwise they also said they will "look into" the reduced effective size of beartraps after they admitted it was unintentional and nothing ever happend.
At least that bubba bug would explain some stuff.
LF has basically to piggybackride a survivor before he starts revving his saw to have a chance to hit someone. -
What a brand new idea… no one ever thought of that, right? XD

Actually I am using Alert quiet a lot and think even the current version is way underrated.
It saved me tons of times, but maybe that is just me, because I want to be stealthy and actually lose the killer.
For looper i it doesn't do a whole lot. -

To say SWF was a garbage idea is false look at where the game is now... its because of SWF... this game wouldnt have made it this far dont kid yourself if you think otherwise.. the devs weren't even thinking that the game was going to last long let alone very as popular as it is now.. if they hadn't thrown in SWF when they did it would have been a dead game.. does suck to go against ofcourse but it's the moneymaker and as soon as they add KWF itll be even more popular
No, SWF is a garbage idea. This game was never balanced for the Survivors having voice comms.
Adding voice comms on top of every good perk Survivors have, plus needing to hit a survivor 3 times (minimum) to hook them (Making it a 12 on 1 when you think about it)PLUS the fact that 90% of all SWF groups are toxic hell..Tell me how SWF is keeping this game alive? It's making this game complete and utter garbage for a Killer to play.
But yeah, making half your playerbase hate your game is 'keeping it alive'?
Allowing toxic 12 year olds to troll the Killer because they would throw a temper-tantrum if they EVER lost is a 'good game'?This game is slowly dying of the cancerous SWF groups making no one want to play Killer because it's boring, stressful, and not-at-all fun. And after a garbage match, we get #########-talked by anyone we MIGHT have hooked.
100% 'saved' game, there.
Yesterday I played vs 3 SWF, one was running OoO and was constantly giving away my position and they came running to tank hits for their recon machine whenever he was injured and chased.
The coordination was so obvious.
They must have been on voice com.
That's the reason why I camp every OoO user I can find. -

Droppoints are not subject to windowblocking. But nice try.
If it's done as a shallow vault similar to say Yamaoka Estates shallow window vaults it will. But hey keep on ignoring things that'd work to fit your narrative.
Drops slow down the survivor, while vaults slow down killer.
So that would make matters even worse.Funny how you try to twist around, who ignores what to support his agenda.^^
Bamboozle which some killers run and they don't use slow vaulting as an excuse either, funny how you ignore that. Also unless that survivor is running Balanced Landing the killer is still going to get them.
As far as agenda's go you'rs is always obvious, if it doesn't benefit killers directly it's a survivor buff and killer nerf. If it benefits both sides it's obviously a survivor buff and the devs favor survivors.
They could buff killers to the dominant role and you'd still complain that they're weak or find something to complain about. When the real issue is you need to improve your gameplay knowledge and stop blaming everything else.
Most killers don't have a problem with window vaults since they made so many changes and the half vault window on Yamaoka isn't a problem same for the other ones. I don't see @Lowbei @SovererignKing or any of the other killer mains on here complaining about half windows or saying this would be a bad fix.
So I need to run a specific perk -Bamboozle- just in case I get that map and I don't want to get screwed over there?
Great idea.^^ … not.
Your "explanation" didn't explain or solve anything. It's just a strawman point.
Follow by a bunch of conspiracy smokescreens. To my "agenda", I want this game BALANCED and since it is still survivorsided, it needs more buffs to killer and nerfs to survivor to achieve BALANCE.
If you attack me for wanting BALANCE, I am glad to be guilty. -

Just make 2 queues:
-Casual: SWF is allowed, no ranks are gained, but every solo player gets a bloodpoints bonus (yes, including solo survivor and ofc killer)
-Ranked: no SWF allowed, ranks are gained as usual, normal bloodpoints -
Because is sounds cool on paper… or would be scary in a movie…

Most killers at rank 1-2 run either Iron Grasp or Agitation anyways so they don't really have a problem with it but a opening for both sides to drop down would be nice. The killers shouldn't have a major issue if it's on the non door side unless the person is running balanced landing.Nice try to get a survivor buff.
A drop down would benefit the survivor way more than the killer.
The staircase is a chokepoint and risky.
With a drop off, they could flee from the killer when he is coming up and use it as another loop..And anyway, who is running IG or Agi at high ranks?
Yep typical response everything is a survivor buff and no the killer can easily bait them into dropping down the same as other drops like that. It also would be subject to oh I don't know the window blocking so it can't be an infinite.
There's quite a few killers that run either or both adn do just fine, but that's probably because they know how to get the most out of their perks and killers.

Deranking doesn't make sense for survivor.
Survivor matches get easier the better the mates are and getting higher gives you better mates.

I never see anyone use Plunderer's Instinct to be honest, maybe it isn't worth a perk slot or it isn't good enough? Idk but hope getting two chest searches will make it a option.
Detectives Hunch, I NEVER see this perk get used by a survivor unless they are going for the adapt achievement. You seriously need to explain to me on why you think it's OP because I don't consider the perk a good choice when.you can use Small Game.
Calm Spirit, it's still not good. Additionally, I don't like how the perk is only good on certain killers. I made the perk useful for more killers instead of the clown and the Doctor. Trust me, this isn't a huge buff!

I see a lto of people use PI, me included.
A perk for free refill of items? Sounds good to me and survivor have enough room to use perks like that.Detective Hunch is revealing sooooo much, it's insane. It is terribly OP and a superior perk above most other similar perks.
It is sad enough that such a perk is considered to weak to pick by most surivor, because that tells us a lot about the other meta perks.Calm Spirit is already a 100% hard counter perk to another killer perk. Is it my problem that they trashed the perk it counters?
And they even added extra effects on it to counter some killer. No need to give more.Sorry, but there are other perks for sure that need buffs… and no, it's not NM. :P

What you guys think?
Edit: Adding more content
Weapon: He could morph his arm into a blade, like the T-1000 does on Terminator 2.
We can go a bit further with his morphing nature. He could morph into a object of the scenario, like a chest or even a engine, grabbing the survivor as it tries to interact with it
I actually HATE all those ideas about killer mimicking survivor.

-I am forced to sit INDEFINITELY until the survivor leaves..........There needs to be an immediate fix, like killing the survivor(s) instantly if they refuse to escape within 5 minutes of the gates being open. I wasn't even watching the gates nor the hatch, I just wanted the game to end.

The Doctor has no way to travel the map faster, no way to down survivors faster, and no way to deal with looping. He's just a M1 killer with a ginormus terror radius, that can track survivors easily, but can't do anything during a chase, and is ez pz countered just by knowing how he and the game work. It's as simple as that. If Freddy and the Spirit didn't exist, the Doctor would be the worst killer in the game.
The Spirit is a bootleg Wraith, with a power that hinders her way more than she helps her. During her phase walk, when she becomes invisible, she gets faster, but she can't see survivors, nor she can see their blood, and she has to rely on our beloved buggy as hell scratch marks. All of this whilst survivors can hear a really loud and directional audio cue that allow them to locate her with ease. She's the only killer that gets punished this hard for using her power.More often than not, survivors will manage to take off Amanda's traps on the first box they search, wasting little to no time, and the death timer is too slow for everybody to honestly give a #########. The stealth mode makes her a slug and, even if she can strike directly out of this stealth mode, this ambush-attack gives away her position with a very loud and directional warning sound. Overall, Amanda is a M1 killer with a slightly smaller terror radius and the ability to force survivors to waste, like, 10 seconds after they've been unhooked.
Leatherface, even if on the verge of the low tier, is way stronger than Pig, Doctor and Spirit put together, because most of his weaknesses come from the mere fact that his unique stat, the acceleration of his chainsaw, is bugged. Once it gets fixed, his instadown will be way more consistent and reliable.
So your list would look like this?
S+ Nurse
S Billy
A Huntress, Hag, Clown
B Wraith, Pig, Myers, Doc, Spirit
C Freddy, Leatherface, TrapperI personally wouldn't have an issue with this.

Devs are really ignorant on this.
What's the reason to play a killer that is weak?
Just to entertain the survivor? Most likely that's the answer. And that's the reason why killer should get a crapton of more bloodpoints for playing a match, because we need to get bribed to play the partyclown. -
@Vortexas said:
It'd be better if disturbing a crow gave you one crow for 5/10/15 seconds based on perk level. But that's something that survivor would notice.

And the range was much higher. -

Survivors were not asking specifically for what it went through, but they are complaining about camping for years, by now. Devs stated a few times on stream that camping was fine. And tweaked the game to hurt campers like raising the time on the hook to 60 s, etc. Which was completely fine. Camping per se is a bad strategy
The problem is that certain situations demand that killers stay near the hook.
That's the point, camping is a legal gamestrat and has it's build in disadvantages, but survivor insist on the rescue, they are so entitled to their rescue and the juicy points that go with it, that they complain about camping like crazy and force this badly thought out band aid crap into the game.
And guess what? The unneeded unlogical crap is causing issues… who would have guessed that? -

The ONLY one on the A tier list that is on Myers level is Huntress. Doctor is pretty weak. His ability doesn’t really help him in a chase, Doctor is the most overrated killer in the game honestly. Other than that I’d switch Myers and Doctor but your list is pretty accurate.
It might be just my personal preference, because I perform pretty well with Doc. And the main reason for it is that he can actually affect multiple targets with his aura.
Something most other killer are lacking..
My main issue is always how can I get the other of the gens while I chase ONE?
Doc has a solution for that.Doctor is good when it comes to map pressure if it is a smaller map (Game, Hospital, Yamaoka) and you pair it with Distressing and Unnerving. His ability just doesn’t cut it for me, he is just too weak at loops.
It’s also a preference when it comes to Myers with me. I love the extended lunge of EW III and his ability to sneak up on survivors in the beginning with his smaller terror radius. I’d take Myers, Spirit, and Pig over Doctor.
I even preform well with Freddy believe it or not.
I am ok with it as long as we can agree on the OP is overcrowding the S+ and S tier.
