You don't even tell me how I'm wrong, I'd rather have someone self care for 32 seconds than 16 seconds, but sure, I'm wrong.

the issue is people like you who present opinions as facts and dismiss others without evidence.
You haven't proven me wrong so stop acting like you do.

Tell me, 32 seconds, or 16 seconds, which sounds more of a benefit to killers?

hush You just gave a link to the old thread. I explained everything already, with evidence and calculations and examples. Just reread it. If you keep saying I didn't gave evidence, than you are a liar.

again, why don't you go back to that post that I explained how self caring is more beneficial to killers than survivors always healing each other.

Heck, I'll give you another example right now, if a survivor gets pulled off a hook would you rather someone selfcare (32 seconds btw) or the person heal them? (16 seconds) which sounds more beneficial to the killer, the longer or the shorter heal time?

    That's so funny.^^

The irony that killers say that looping is a unskillful thing to do, but yet they say tunnelling and camping is a strat.

Oh no the survivor is trying its best to not get hit and survivor (killer proceeds to keep chasing this survivor instead of breaking off to check gens and go for others) 3 gens pop on and now killer finally catches the survivor and then proceeds to camp them because of a stupid excuse of 3 gens going off when they could've avoided it by leaving that survivor.

    ...

    You know what.... I'm done.

    1. Looping needs some degree of skill. I have to admit that, because I am a killer main and when I play survivor I really suck at looping, but most likely that a simple training issue and I do not spend enough time playing survivor.
    2. Tunneling and camping are skillful too. Tunneling = chasing and if the chaser gets the chased one, he one. And by calling camping "unskillful" you just take a snapshot of the situation AFTER the killer did all the skillful work to get that victim there and he still has to defend that sacrifice against all the super altruistic wannabe rescuer.
    3. Switching targets only helps if there are easier targets. Of course I avoid those sucker, that WANT to get chased, but in general switching targets is only giving free self heals and getting looped by the next player.

Actually I think , it is better that you are done...

Tunneling and gen rushing are one and the same thing
Getting the objective done as fast and efficient as possible

Gen rushing can be combated by putting pressure on the survivors
Tunneling can be combatted by taking a hit for a fellow player

Wrong. Tunneling is playing efficient. Gen rush is just bad game design.
Gens are done way to fast. If the survivor play well, the killer can't do crap about it.
If a survivor is a decent runner a single hit takes 30-40 seconds, so 2 hits plus carry to a hook is about the time it takes to do a gen ALONE without any toolbox or great checks.
If the survivor spread out and do gens all on their own, that's 3 gens done on the first hook.
The problem about gen rush is that the Devs choose to balance the game for low rank/low skill survivor, that mess around and can't "walk the killer" and can't do great skillchecks.
Every other game is balanced top down instead of bottom up.

I'm not saying it's balanced or not
Just saying it's the same thing
Rushing the gens is doing the objective fast and efficient

wether this is balanced or not was not my point

Your right, but I feel the need to point that out.
To many survivor mains use that as a lame excuse to call gen rush "fine" (balanced).

I personally would love to see a werewolf. Could run similar to Billys loping stride. Possibly use a mid range leap power?

I know DBD is more slasher genre then traditional horror but I think these characters could be fun.

I would like to see The Werewolf with a mid range leap that you can do double leaps with.

Example: Jumping to the side of a wall then pouncing off the wall to a survivor ( or using any object to pounce from)

I think that would be interesting along with the ability to fast vault pallets and windows, I’m sure a lot of cool things could be done with the idea.

Maybe a Wolfman could jump to ledges and windows. ;)
Would be a nasty surprise if the killer comes through a 2nd store window from the outside in.^^

Camping killers is STILL an issue even though they already "addressed the issue in the last patch."
Well guess what, it's obviously not enough since its still a problem and turning people off from a game like this where survivability is already minimal.
I'm killer main, but when I want to try my luck at being a survivor, encountering these players makes this game so bad, especially since they're rewarded for such terrible play style.

    It's a trash play style.
    Stop defending it.

So killer should be forced to play stupid?
Maybe you need a bot mode to play. A nice AI, that plays by every crappy survivor rule.
Don't camp, don't tunnel, respect the 4%, don't use Noed, etc.

Just the last 2 matches as survivor.
    1. First victim put to sleep, another DCd ("I don't play Freddy") 3 survivor with 5 gens left = 3 kills plus the DC
    2. First victim screams, another DCd ("I don't play Doctor") 3 survivor with 5 gens left = 3 kill plus the DC

If people constantly DC on certain Killers, they will never learn to play against them.

I know, but they count as "kills" for the escaperatio and their mates left with 3 people and 5 gens to go will most likely get killed also.
That is messing up the stats a lot.

  • Id/tag visibility have been taken away from survivor, because they abused it.
    Deal with it.
    This is about ingame mechanics.

The only real difference is survivors continue to hold onto their item.

That is the main point of the perk!
They should DROP it, so that they have to make a choice; either take the risk and waste the time to retrieve it or just let go of it.

  • That suggestion would totally ruin the whole purpose of the perk.
It is made to waste the survivors time if they are greedy and want to retrieve their stuff.

  • @Blueberry said:
This feels like a nerf to me, not a buff.

    Exactly.
Making any perk a HEX, is a nerf.
Survivor like to ask for it and combine it with a slight buff to justify the major nerf of being a Hex.
Survivor like Hexes, because they can destroy a perk.
I wish I had something to destroy survivor perks.

They need to make him more true to his movie character i.e. has a host of different powers once in the DreamWorld. His add-ons could support this (e.g. add-ons that let him teleport / block windows / doors / throw projectiles) . Currently he's just like any other slasher killer when in the DreamWorld.

    Good idea.
Like an add on that could make his Dream demon power activate window blocker when used on a window.
Or an add on that makes someone fall asleep when he tries to wake someone up.^^

    1. Remove awake survivor from hit detection.
    2. Healing from awake survivor should not block picking up downed survivor.
    3. 25% action speed debuff during dream transition.
    4. Dream Demon should be an interrupt ability, with a 1.5 sec block to resume the any action.

I agree, if killer can check survivors id so should the survivors.

    Still wrong.
Again, it is an integral core design that the killer knows more and the survivor are meant to be surprised by the killer.
If survivor could just equip Small game when they KNOW they face a trapper, it would totally break the balance.

Considering Wraith's All Seeing - Spirit is ultra rare I doubt they would add a similar effect on a perk. PGTW is also very powerful in combo with that addon since you can apply maximum damage with every application of PGTW.

Serious? You want to bring up an ultra rare to dismiss this?
Ultra rares are meant to be strong and the "All Seeing"-spirit add on on it's own is garbage and would only be strong with a good combo.

I personally think killers shouldn't be able to see what items survivors are carrying in the lobby, so it's fine.

You are aware that this is a core mechanic of the game, right?
It was always intended that the killer can prepare himself for what the survivor are bringing into the match by stalking them at the campfire.
    It's part of the gamebalance.
Why should a killer equip Lightborn, when no one brings a torch?
Why should a killer use FD, if no one brings an item?

  • I stopped using this perk, because to often the gen I was going to (because I knew it was clsoe) popped just before I could reach it and the timer was to short to get to another gen.

The perk should give a visual indicator which gens are repaired the most, so I do not waste my time running to a gen that is not even touched.

  • Just the last 2 matches as survivor.

  • The thing is, PGTW is meant to force the killer to LEAVE the hook.
Right now, I think it is way to weak(situational), but the core mechanic should stay: get a good benefit for leaving the hook.
Maybe something like a longer timer and an indicator which gens are repaired to what level.

That way they coul dnot mess around so much.

Yup, I can confirm that. Last game was against 3 toolboxes, I should have lost (one gen remaining, no one dead yet), yet I slayed them all because of late game camp. Like, they could easily do the last gen and 3 of them escape, but they chose instead to try to rescue no matter what.

Survivors, this is not a coop game, you don't have to feel bad if you let your teammate die on hook if that means most of you will escape!

That's what I meant… I have a lot of games where an easy 3 escape turns into a 3 dead, because they play overconfident and cocky.

No its just killer mains crying that everything is unfair to them, crying at the idea of any specific killer nerfs while asking devs to nerf every single thing survivors have.

So you are not happy about killer doing the same thing that survivor did for almost 2 years?
What do you think how we got at this point of unbalance?

  • These stats are lacking information.
When have these stats been taken? Did the time include the blight event?
Is this across all platforms? Can we get those splitted between Console and PC?
Are DCs included as kills? (Oh, Doc, I don't play Doc -> DC) Are 3 men games included?
And since survivor do not NEED to survive to "win" (pip) the stats are flawed to begin with.
