I had a Sheva yesterday that was moving at least 110% the whole game. I could barely catch up with her. At least she didn't really deny it at the end.
I had a teleporting Ada after posting this. Even her team was like ‘ah No’ and let me destroy her.

for number 3: as soon as the endgame starts the map darkens like in dredge nightfall (maybe a little bit less) for both the survivor and the killer, also all aura reading is gone for both and all scratch marks or terror radius are gone but the all get the ability to hear steps and breathing better.
Seems extreme but I do like it.

for number 3. i would like a nightime version for booth Eyrie and The corn maps. like how they used to be.
so 1 night and 1 dark version. of course they could do some other small changes but mostly changing the skybox would help so much
I agree. I do miss the old farm maps.

I used to, but after being abused enough by survivors who “just play the game” (aka pallet runners and god flashlight fiends, and yes I know that’s a strategy just a annoying one) i decided to “just play the game” and not let anyone leave if it’s within my power. Circumstances be damned.

Star Struck, Agitation, Awakened Awareness, and BBQ or Distressing.
Your Terror Radius will be huge and you’ll most definitely get 1 exposed target. Making them fear you.

So its the same if you kill a survivor you havent stalked. Its on you.
Oh it’s most definitely on me, but the issue is we are comparing apples to oranges. Oni even if he doesn’t hit anyway can still access his kit after like 3 minutes. While Michael (if unlucky enough) can’t if he keeps finding the same survivor. I don’t play Michael that often but I did have a few times were it felt like I only saw the same Bill, but I do play Oni a lot so I know it’s not that bad to miss the survivors for 3 minutes as long as you’re aggressive with gens.

So you will tell me that someone who cant hit anyone will last for 8,5 Minutes in this game until they get their power passively? Also at that point a myers already had his power several times. Youre completely ignoring what was talked about.
Well if you can’t hit a single person that’s on you. I was just saying that Oni does get his power passively while Michael can not. I’m on team rework Michael to fit the new style of gameplay. Same with a few other killers.

If you run out of stalk, you did something seriously wrong, so whats the issue? Its like an Oni that cant hit anyone.
Oni gains his passively on the side though. Unlike Michael.

I call Sadako “Well Ghost”.
Wrath is Wath

I wouldn't be able to take it seriously if it moved fast which it would have to do in DBD unless it has yet another teleporting ability.
I wouldn’t want a dash or anything. Probably would give them a power like Carters Spark. A small power you can use then a big power that takes time to refill….
Could make it so they call on the Entity to hinder the Survivor for a second with the small power… the charged power could block all Vault locations within like 20 meters for ten seconds. See little spider-esk legs everywhere. Be a good anti-loop killer. Just make them 4.4/mps or whatever the slowest movement is.

You need to learn the tiles then the map isnt "that" bad. It is strong and has 3 god pallets and a lot of buildings which can be annoying to navigate but besides that the map isnt that insanely bad as ppl make it up to be.
On the house with the window what you describe there, if you see a survivor runs up the stairs, just stay downstairs and go either to the left or right and the door infront of you, there is the drop down spot where the survivor lands.
I know it’s not bad but it just feels so… clunky? Like it was meant for Legion or something.
As for the Window if I stay down they will just sit there. It’s a lose/lose situation there. Feels like it should be a hole instead of a window.

I actually just played a few more games as him. I noticed my problem on one map. The new Dredge one. Some cracks in the ground get him stuck randomly.

I make sure to have Lightborn. And I smack the smugness off their face once they realize I can still see them.

At least it’s getting fixed in a timely manner. What do you think caused it so killers couldn’t go inside the basement?

Classic sign of someone who never played oni.
Onis turning was never "#########", he could always 240 flick even, I main oni since release and always did that constantly. I did got called out as an "DPI abuser" or "turn hacker" rather often even. The majority doenst know how much oni can turn but it was been always possible and was never really nerfed or taken out.
Also the collision itsself was fine but corners do have a big hitbox where you easily can hit it accidently, make sure you do big turns around corners.
Only in PTB when Oni came out you could literally double 360 but that was ofc a bug.
I played Oni when he was released. Hell I prestiged and Adepted him that day on controller so my turns are limited. So his first big nerf actually had a big effect on me. I’m not saying he is in need of some big buff, what I was getting at is some maps are so full of garbage that he may get stuck. Same thing with Billy.

I played the game a few times, I know that..
But if you tunnel someone out, you will still awarded the BPs for hooking the other Survivors. This is like offering a reward for a Kid if it behaves well, it behaves not well at all and you still give the reward.
This is giving the double BPs to a tunneling Killer. I always had a problem with that, especially if I see streamers who had 2 Survivors dead and 2 BBQ-Stacks (and I know that this particular streamer is tunneling every game). But I never thought of a way to fix it to make it a real incentive and not an alibi-one.
So you’d rather punish all killers just so the campers can’t get a extra 2300 blood points? I use BBQ to build up blood points to help killers that BHVR left to die but gave them decent perks. Now I’m out 50% of my blood point gains.

You can tunnel one Survivor out at 5 Gens and still get the 4 Stacks of BBQ. Which shows that it is a flawed incentive.
It’s per Survivor. Not per hook. Hooking Bill 3 times doesn’t give you 75% more

@Advorsus said:
It depends on what you're going for. If you're just looking to P3 all characters, for example all 28 killers, the grind is actually longer. Level 1-50 is about 1.5 million BP if done effeciently. So to get one character to P3 level 50 it's about 4.5 million, or just 3 million bp to P3 level 1. So right now it's 3 x 28 = 84 million to P3 level 1 all killers.
But if you're going for say just no prestiging right now and only going for all perks to tier 3 on every killer that's around 7 million per killer. 7mil x 28= 196 million bp needed.
So for the new system, to unlock every killer's perks at tier 3 you need to have each one at P3. So about 84 million as discussed above. This is definitely not a 75% reduction. It's about a 68% reduction. Which isn't horrible right?
Except that the time it takes to get those BP could take even longer now. Because you're removing one of the main ways people used to get bp. So instead of having 100% from a perk, and another 100% from cakes or pudding or whatever, you're effectively cutting that in half.
Now it'll be a bonus controlled by behaviour's system and you'll only get it if you play the role they want you to play at the time.
So yes the grind is reduced, but it's probably closer to 40-50%, not the 75% that was described.
And if your only goal was to get the bloody cosmetics, congrats your requirement has now doubled.
So yes but no
It does feel odd that they do want to slow the grind down. Especially since some killers are Nigh impossible to play on 50% of the maps. I’d think they would want us to have some sort of way of beefing them up before tossing them into the hell that is Pallet Factory.

Body blocking is annoying especially with BT.

Yes I stated that, you can get a bunch of injures but THEN WHAT.
They don't even need to heal for the rest of the match because "oh it's legion who cares" once you injure everyone, you're literally an M1 killer with nothing to do anymore.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3028268#Comment_3028268
Broken addon is pointless because survivors don't even heal against legion. There's no point.
Run Thana. Then they will care.
-
Legion is a huge pressure Killer. Run the add-on that makes Survivors broken if they mend. Also use them to scare and punish survivors trying to act like hero’s.
The Game is a very good map for them.
-
I think it should be like 18 pallets. Average 4.5 pallets per survivor.
edit: I was talking while doing math .-. I’m a fool.

Yeah. Her Hatchets felt slow, but like you said it probably is from not using her for a few months.
-
@Bwsted said:
She's the same. Her animation can be a bit scuffed on the survivor side, but that affects other killers as well and it's the servers being what they are.
Other than that, it's just the long layoff affecting you, I would guess.
I did notice the Insta axe can’t stack with the belts anymore. Not that I used that build very much.

@Aven_Fallen said:
"Also, for the killers who constantly say “use noise to find them” that doesn’t help when they all I can hear is the blinding effect of WooooooOOOOO constantly."
Then dont look at the flashlight like a moth. Look down while they blind you to avoid getting chain-blinded. You will still have the sound effect, but you wont be blinded anymore, you will also know where they are and at some point, you will see their feet, which makes it possible to hit them.
"Flashlight users also just do happen to be Pallet campers as well. Sitting near a pallet loop killers definitely can’t abuse (heavy sarcasm)."
This is the best scenario. They are camping a pallet instead of going to the next loop and blinding at Pallets is also such a waste of potential distance.
In general, Flashlight-Squads are the best thing to go against, you will most likely win against those, since they dont care about their Objective.
And, when I compare it to camping, camping is worse - you will have one Survivor who did not get to play at all, who will leave the game without many BPs. And the other Survivors are also limited in their BP-gain, since they have to stick to Gens and cannot get Altruism or Chase-Points. However, as Killer who has to deal with Flashlights, you can still leave the game with a 4K and tons of BPs.
I personally have better odds against full tool kit squads. Since I run CI and either Pop or Overcharge.
Looking down has never helped me. It still blinds me most of the time.

Lightborn. You master it by putting it in your loadout at the beginning of the game when you see three Neas with flashlights and skull masks in the lobby, and it gives you free hits all game.
Alternatively, try the following:
Learn to stare at walls or at least away from open areas when picking up a survivor. Learn to avoid the flashlight when carrying. There's a small window where you can't avoid being blinded if they hit you directly at just the right angle, but everything beyond that is in your power, and you can avoid being blinded during that window by looking around for people before you pick a survivor up off the ground.
If someone is following you around with a flashlight, be sure and smack them before picking up a downed survivor. If it's especially bad, slug a couple of people first.
If you can't hear the survivors moving because of the flashlight sound, that's because the survivor is not moving. He is still standing a meter away from you and wasting his flashlight battery. When he stops, you will be able to hear him moving around. It's easy once you practice a little.
Remember that you can set down survivors if you think you don't have a chance to make it to the hook, and if you're really getting your ass beat by a bully squad, feel free to just slugging, facecamping, and just generally making life miserable for your opponents. They'll enjoy the game much less. I had a game earlier today where they just spent all game following me around (all four of them) ignoring gens and just going for saves. They took turns on the ground as my pet slug for fifteen minutes while one of them finished all the gens in the background. I only got a 1K, but I'm sure I frustrated them some. (I probably could have done better if I'd tried, but I threw the game doing that instead.)
As others have said, the more of them that are going for flashlight saves, the less of them are doing gens. Pallet camping is in your favor, because it wastes pallets, and they waste time blinding you when they should be running away. Pretty soon, all the pallets are gone, and so is their entire squad.
Also, Franklin's and Starstruck aren't bad. Forced Penance is great for punishing bodyblocking (which these squads also tend to do). The latter is becoming one of my favorite perks.
I actually do most of this. Sadly most people say “it’s a skill issue”. It’s not when the survivors are actively trying to do this. No skill will help me if survivors go out of there way to do this, but I do appreciate the advice and help. I’ll try to practice on my turning.
Also I do have ST and LB but sadly my blood webs have giving me nothing good for half my killers.

..I mean.
Does it happen often that all four survivors are flashlighting you at a pallet?
Is that worse than the dude just running after the pallet drop while everyone just pumps gens?
Yes. I’ve had it happen twice today. Two in front and two behind. It seems they may get extra points for the “Evader” emblem, but I’m not sure.

if they are using flashlights then they aren't doing gens which is in your favor.
That’s true to a degree, but still drives me insane because of Total lack of protection from abuse it has. 4 survivors flash lighting you after a pallet stun is about 40 seconds of pain.

skill issue
Then tell me all magical one. How do I stop them from constantly hiding near pallets with flashlights? What skill should I master for that? I’ve done mindgames and blocked loops with certain killers. Yet it seems to me that the only effective way is to use a single perk or to stare at the sky like a turkey.

I know where you're coming from, and I thought, the same thing, your thinking, besides what you mentioned, I don't really know how killers can be as toxic, as some survivors say, I guess maybe constantly slashing on hook maybe one, but I honestly don't know either
That’s what I was thinking. I just wanted to see if anyone can come up with a true way. Not just “Using this perk” or “being this killer”. Since I play killer it’s just weird being called toxic by mr T-bag 4000

I find Toxic survivors to be one of the few things DBD hasn’t thought about fixing. Even killers have (some tiny) draw backs for being toxic. Yet you can have a tea bagging survivor sitting between 3 separate pallet locations throwing down a flash bomb (literally a free firecracker) and DHing to another Pallet location. Smashing the crouch button.
Like I get that Killers face camp but is it on the same scale as Survivors activity being bullies? It’s like Shawn of the dead zombie practice sometimes.
-
I actually gave up on being ruthless because I got so much hate from survivors. So I started doing Good Vibe Event games.
-
Does SB continue after vaulting?
-
For me it depends on how they act during the trial. Teabagging at the gate? Whatever. Teabagging while camping a pallet however? That’s the toxic one that makes me sad.

It’s very much map oriented. Sometimes hooks feel like miles apart while others feel too close.
As a “Professional” killer I actually agree that some hooks do seem rather close, but the same can be said for some generators and pallets. It’s just weird map layouts that need to be addressed by BHVR.
