Console definitely outnumbers PC by a significant margin.
DBD is consistently on Microsoft's most played games list, up there with CoD's, NBA and Fortnite.
Then I would think they'd try to make console as smooth as possible. But the devs strive for CoNsIsTeNcY.

I'm not entirely sure, but would anyone argue tho that Nintendo Switch has one of the smallest player bases by platform.
Wouldn't disagree with switch being perhaps the lowest platform, but I want to see Console to PC player count. See if that is why they sometimes turn a blind eye to console.

I couldn't agree more with this. They need to be treating both as equals, not as "oh more play this role therefor we neglect the other role"
Do you know which platform has the most players?
-
Well it technically makes sense for the devs to make the survivor experience more pleasent since when there is one killer playing there's four survivors playing. They have to realize there's no survivors without the killer so they should make both sides equal.
-
Try the mad anti hook combination of Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Kindred, and Leader or Desperate Measures.
-
Hillbilly with Ruin+Tinkerer+Whispers+Enduring.

I choose balanced (mainly cause i dont play her ;P ) but you do have a point!
She is super tall and slow which is a bit weird... not to mention every time she brings iridescent half the team disconnects xD
Considering she's a hunter who lived off the land in the forest by herself fighting off German and Russian soldiers. Yeah it's pretty weird she's slow.

Oh my god, that is nightmare fuel.
Or a Billy and Oni with Infectious. Or a Trapper and Hag with traps everywhere those would be pretty good.
-
Yeah a game mode having fun just messing around would be good. But spooky imagine dealing with a Scratched Mirror Mikey and a Ghostface terrifying.
-
@Karao_Ke said:
Oni is one of the best killers in the game, but it definitely doesn't mean he's OP. When facing good survivors, they can easily dodge his attacks while in Blood Fury (if they're not in a deadzone).
Needless to say, I giggled when I saw you compare Billy to Oni, because I absolutely suck at Billy.
Hey I'm vice versa great at Billy suck with Oni.
-
LOL get good. Bubba is balanced. His chainsaw can't be used for mobility. And can be hard countered by Windows.

I’ve been watching some streams, and I cannot wait to test some combos with Antidote and Tonics at some of the most horrid loops when this goes live on PS5.
I’m also very intrigued with the add on pass. The only thing I’m really going to miss is being able to inflict more severe blurred vision.
My only question is will The Antidote also remove for survivors Mangled from Sulphuric Acid Vial, and Blindness from Kerosene Can?
Do you like the new chase music for The Clown?
-
Jesus were they a SWF or casually bringing Object? And unfortunately the StAtIsTiCs say Object IsN't TeRrIbLy EfFeCtIvE so it's gonna stay the same.

His nerf wasn't necessary. He was the to go standard on how other killers should be balanced.
He was perfectly fine.
I can agree on that. But he's still god hut it's sad he went from A tier to B tier

@GannTM said:
Not every survivor is like that. I think that survivor is the more whiney side in general but most of the complaints about boring killers are pretty valid.
Killers like Spirit, Deathslinger, and Pyramid Head completely negate the skill of the survivor, which is honestly not fair. I’m not saying these killers have no counterplay but the counterplay they do have is very stale and boring because it has nothing to do with the survivor’s input. Now, all these killers do require the player playing them to be good but relying on just the killer player to be bad isn’t good design. I even main Spirit and I know this is true.
Billy, Blight, and Huntress (assuming she doesn’t have Iri Head) are all strong killers but aren’t oppressive because there are ways to play around their power as long as you have the skill and you are aware what counters they have. Because of that, these killers are great examples of killers that are still strong but still offer fun gameplay from both sides.
Okay sounds about right. But I've seen a few nerf Doctor and Bubba from questionable people.

LOL
Blight: busted FoV
Billy: trash since the nerf
Oni: Billy with extra steps.
Billy is still good just can't spam the saw. Still a dumb nerf. I main Billy.

As I've said to other people. It's kind of just a precaution in case I'm doing bad.
Nah, Bubba is a character unlike Demo or Pig should frequently use his M2 ability. Better to just use your chainsaw as much as possible.
-
It's less his base and more how much more perks can elevate him. And he is getting nerfed.
-
I'd take out Haunted Grounds since you already have a one shot ability. The other three perks are fine.
-
Nope if someone is caught in your three gen you're completely fine to stay

I would leave everything as-is except change from being in TR to being in some distance of the killer. It would be far more predictable. One needs to think through all the consequences, like it also means BT now works with Freddy when the survivor is in dream world. I am a killer main and don't have a problem with hook diving. BT encourages risky survivor behavior and often I can parlay it into downing the unhooker. Burn a hook state and get another PGTW? Yes please
I said it should be within so and so meters instead of the terror radius
-
@Sluzzy said:
A perk shouldn't deactivate for doing the objective. That's telling a player if you play the game normally or if I hook your teammate first, you have to lose your perk. Would be horrendous.
It's to avoid abuse of the immunity like a survivor instead of running away will just rush the gen because the killer will just get stunned. And they can finish the gen.
-
@Johnny_XMan said:
What are you changing to the current Camp/Tunnel mechanic to compensate?
Unfortunately can't change players.
-
In my opinion Trapper should stick with the default theme since he is the original.
-
Go for an endgame build Noed, Blood Warden, Rancor, Nemesis
-
I thought Self-care was the killer perk
-
Bubba is balanced get good
-
It's not Iri Head itself it's when it's paired with Infantry Belt.
-
1. Huntress can't dodge hatchets as well and get Iri Heads+Infantry Belts commonly
2. Michael's he seems to always have tier 3 ready for me and I fail to recognize his lunge and vault.
3. Ghost face cause Night Shroud is consistent 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Unlike others I enjoy facing Good Nurses Spirits and Slingers to truly harden me and make me feel like Jesus juking them.

Wraith needs a nerf??????????????????
Bubba is fine devs balanced him good
Doctor is fine they also balanced him good
Freddy meh don't feel much fine with him changed.
Funny how Doctor, Freddy, and Bubba became viable and now people want them nerfed
-
Yup bet they're working on some of the problems we complain about but their secrecy like the CIA makes it seem like they don't.

Good: Spirit, Nurse
Ok: Hag
Bad: Most other killers
Very bad: Blight, Trapper, Wraith
I'm crying in Billy tears

Would make it better for stealths and smaller terror radius killers. In exchange for reducing it's strength with Nurse, Oni, or Billy depends on the range.
-
DS in it's current state is not good. A killer can catch you once eat it and then just tunnel you like a jerk. A survivor can abuse the whole one minute and fix a gen that lost you the game just happened to me. Here's my rework to hopefully keep both sides happy.
DS timer is reduced to 35,40,45 seconds. However can be used twice to counter hard core tunnelers. But will disable if you are, cleansing a totem, searching a chest, or fixing a gen because obviously you aren't getting tunneled doing those. As well if you're in a locker for 3 seconds. Still will allow grabs at windows and pallets. Because you could be getting chased still.
-
Really there was this Nea who saw me coming wasn't even tunneling she was able to stun me and then fix the gen because of DS giving her an easy pass. Another game I usually do bones but game was close had to focus on gens killer was then able to be saved by Noed. Yeah I'm open to changes.

I read this wrong. Change my vote, the ability to review and watch previous matches in your match history would be pretty cool.
What'd you think it said?

Gameplay reasons.

Without Ruin or Pop active Tinkerer basically tells you a gen is about to go, nothing else. On killers without mobility it's worthless and it's hard countered by Spine Chill and OoO.
"Imagine a perk for survs that show the aura of the killer if he moves in the direction of the surv 24 secs before he arrives". That's OoO for you, killers have been dealing with it for almost 4 years now.
Yup that's my Billy Tinkerer with no Ruin or PGTW still useful for getting the next down.
-
No I wouldn't say it's overpowered especially with the upcoming Undying nerf.

I guess recording visual evidence i.e streaming not enough evidence?
Not everyone goes into a game expecting a hacker. And by the time they finally got it set the game can be over. It's easier and more beneficial to have a replay system so every hacker can't escape. You act like everyone has easy access to stream.

@landromat said:
hillbilly needed overheat and a lot of people agree with me. Chases were not rewarding for survivors because chansaw was infinite and he can just rev it again. You guys are just loud minority
He wasn't Op. And honestly isn't hard to get old Billy considering two good overheat add-ons of brown and yellow are easy to acquire
-
The problem is people want these changes to come quicker.
-
@Dovahkat963 said:
I'm pretty sure I've only overheated Billy's chainsaw once out of all the games I have played as him, and that was just me getting frustrated and not paying attention. The only way you're going to overheat is if you just spam the chainsaw nonstop and hold your revs for an excessive amount of time. And that's without the overheat add-ons. So I don't get why it's such a big deal?
In reality it's not. But it was an extra learning step that newer players maybe couldn't manage over heat as easily.

Lol look at this guy wanting to buff freddy and doctor what????
I was speaking in the past tense. Didn't realize? As in part of their goal to diversify killer pick rates. They should've made all killers more viable what they did buffing Doctor, Freddy, and Bubba was good. But they shouldn't have made Nurse and Billy less enjoyable in the progress.
-
Michael the tier 3 lunge always gets me.
-
@Trashmaster said:
Overheat was certainly a stupid addition, but not because it actually makes billy weaker. You can speed around the map all the time and probably won't hit overheat more than once in a match
I thought it scared away many potential Billy mains.
-
@BaldursGate2 said:
They "fix" a completly fine killer, nobody asked about it, nobody had any problems with him. Speaking of their "knowledge" of the game and what people actually want. Just ignore the 50 topics every day about ds / keys / unbreakable etc. and do something nobody wanted.
They'll look to the statistics.
-
@ryanb122197 said:
Mate it’s not even bad. You can still snowball with Billy if you’re good. Just run dads boots (increase steering) and junkyard air filter (increasing the chainsaw overheat limit). That add on itself adds 20 charges.
It's not he's that worse same with Nurse. I was with Billy pre nerf still am. But they definitely reduced Nurse's and Billy's play rate by making them harder for new players. And they ruined many potential future Nurse and Billy mains.
-
@dspaceman20 said:
Wasn't rhe overheat mechanic created for camping?
No, there was enough criticizim saying Billy too strong. And the devs wanted people to play other characters by nerfing good ones unecessarily instead of only buffing low tiers. They should've buffed Doctor, Freddy, and Bubba. Without nerfing Nurse and Hillbilly.
