Outdated, yes. But I wouldn't say he needs much to become more up to date. His add-ons could be touched up a little (though we all know how BHVR likes "touching up add-ons") and he could maybe use having Evil points on Survivors regenerate slowly so he never runs out, but I don't think he needs too much work.
-
If it isn't Candyman, I will change my profile picture to Hillbilly (the only Killer that I truly cannot stand playing with every fiber of my being) for a whole month. You can hold me to this. If I'm wrong, you can quote this just to taunt me. I give you permission.
I have a lot at stake here.

I could have sworn hag was from Africa aswell
For a long time, many people believed her to be full-on African, but her Archive has finally proven that she is African American.
-
Killers: Doc (laugh and power), Oni (due to a meme between me and my old Chem teacher, Mr. Oney) and Legion (just plain fun for me)
Survivors are a bit more complicated due to my very specific leveling scheme. My actual highest levels are Dwight, Claudette, David and Jane (all 50) with Kate (49) and Ash (44) close behind (Archives and Dailies). My actual favorites however, are Adam (for so many reasons), Min (I can relate to her as a lone wolf gamer) and either Ash or Yui (the latter of whom is ironically my lowest level alongside Jake).
-
It goes both ways. If you remove it but keep the other three original Survivor faces, there would be questions regarding why Claudette, the only member of the original 4 that happens to be black, is not included. The only way I could see this at all happening is remove Jake's face as well and just leave Dwight and Meg.
Not everything that COULD be used for racist purposes is DESIGNED for racist purposes.
-
I tend to play very casually, but DBD is a competitive game by definition.
ANY game that revolves around two or more teams going against each other is competitive.
-
I started playing video games around four years old, though I don't remember why. Among the various kid's games that I don't remember well, there are two games that stand out as among my favorites back then.
I loved these games. Still do, even though they haven't really aged well.
-
If it's not Candyman, I'll change my profile picture to Hillbilly for a month.
-
After so long of endless Hag arguments, Stroke of Luck may have finally put the nail in the coffin for Lisa Sherwood's placement in this timeline. It's admittedly loose, but far better than my earlier "resurgence in witchcraft" theory I had since 2018.
-
As long as it was, you know, an ACTUAL KILLER and not a LEGENDARY SKIN, I'd be down for one.
-
I keep forgetting you even CAN rate games.
-
Linked skins are mostly fine. I may not particularly like them, but I can live with them.
Legendary skins for licensed characters (Like Lisa Garland for Cheryl) I can live with as well. I still believe they're a waste of money and will never support them, but I can still accept them.
Legendary skins for original characters are what I have an issue with. Yes, the Minotaur skin for Oni looks amazing, but I would have much rather had an actual Minotaur, not a Japanese demon samurai that's pretty much playing dress up. A waste of money AND limits potential future Killers and Survivors.
-
I mean, they look decent, I guess, but I have personal issues with it.
- I hate the idea of Legendary Skins (so goodbye Oni skin).
- They look so out of place to everything else (which is honestly my issue with a lot of skins.
So, it's a hard pass for me.
-
Yeah, that daily is one of the ones I delete immediately. I enjoy playing Ghost Face, even though I'm not that great with him, but that daily makes me question my life.
-
Aesthetically, they're some of the best for me. The experimental hospital, the lair of a mad man, an underground laboratory and a corrupted elementary school just stand out for me.
Gameplay wise, I despise them and want to burn them to the ground.
-
I've been ignoring these for so long, but I can't hold back anymore. This is such a ludicrous disrespect to what Candyman is. I'm sorry if I come off as rude in any way here, but this needs to be said.
First off, quit putting chapter SUGGESTIONS in the LORE subsection. There is an actual subsection called SHARE YOUR WORK, where you can put these in and people might actually check them out. These do not belong in LORE. LORE is for questions and theories about the story of Dead by Daylight, not ideas for new chapters.
Second, what is that backstory? It so clearly shows that you know NOTHING about Candyman besides the basics, and even that you got wrong.
"they threw a hive full of bees on him and let the bees kill him." No. They didn't. They covered him in honey and a swarm of bees stun him for it.
"they did not like him for a reason and only one reason only that he was a killer." No. They didn't like him because he was a black man who fell in love with a white woman. That's literally the whole point of his character, that he was a victim of a really bad practice that existed and was perfectly legal in the 1800s. He literally never killed ANYONE before then.
"When they finished he worte a note with his own blood and said say his name 5 times." Spelling and grammer issues aside (which is another thing that plagues all of your posts), that's not what happened. After they lynched him, they trapped his soul in a mirror, and that's what causes him to appear when you say his name 5 times in a mirror.
The only thing you really got right was his name being Daniel Robitaille.
Now these stats.
"mori-He gets his hook and stab the survivor foot and lets the bees stun them so much until they stop screaming." Here's a much better one. He hooks the Survivor in the groin and guts them from groin to gullet after saying "Be my victim." Yes, Candyman has control over bees, but he rarely uses them to kill. "Gut you from groin to gullet" is one of his main catchphrases.
"speed 120%" Faster than ANY OTHER KILLER? Survivors would have a field day with this. His power would literally need to be worse than Clown's for this to work. And at that point, I'd rather play Clown, regardless of how much I adore Candyman.
"power is called bee power You can throw waffle like bee thing on survivors and bees will attack that survivor and down that survivor. How to refill it is you have to go to these bee hives and collect and keep throwing on survivors ." Those "waffle like bee things" have a name: honeycomb. Coupled with his ludicrous speed, this is completely broken, as well as completely ignoring what Candyman does. More than likelt, Candyman would be able to teleport between mirrors and use bees as a slowdown mechanism, not as a damage mechanism. Also "BEE POWER"? Sounds like something out of a 50s comic book.
For cosmetics, his trench coat normally is black with tan fur-trimming. He also doesn't have a beard in any way and his hair, while short, is not a buzz cut.
And those perks are so awful that I can't help but think this whole thing is a parody.
"why running away-When you a chase a survivor for 50/45/30 seconds you will be able to block that pallet/window for 30/45/60 seconds." So basically Bamboozle with extra steps and less benefits? it may be longer, but Bamboozle is far better.
"go crazy for me-When the obession dies survivors slowly go crazy and then some point they have to snap out of it." Snapping Out of Madness is Doctor's thing, don't make it something that all Killers can use. And there is no perk progression shown here.
"hex horror night:When the totem is active you can press the active button you can make a survivor be scared and you will have no red stain and no terror radius until you down that survivor or out of a chase." Dead Hard, Diversion, For the People and Repressed Alliance are the only activateable perks in the game. Notice something about them? That's right. They're all SURVIVOR Perks. Killers don't have room to work with activateable perks like this. Also, this is literally discount Beast of Prey, a perk that's already pretty meh.
And no new map? Cabrini Green has so much potential and you didn't think of it?
Once again, I'm sorry if I came off as rude, but that's what happens when you so ludicrously disrespect one of my favorite horror icons. You incur my unforgiving wrath.
-
I play all Survivors, as I want to level them all up (in a very specific order), with my lowest being Jake and Yui at 35, though my actual favorites are Adam (36, only that low because he's sadly one of the last four in that order) and Min (40).
I have a feeling that I'm about to hate Dwight after today though, as I just have THAT challenge left for his Archive (I took a slight break when Part 3 came out). (EDIT: Got it, wasn't that bad with The Game offering)
-
I'd certainly be interested in one, since I really enjoyed my time with Deathgarden, but I see no way it could work and be balanced. The Hunters were ridiculously powerful.
Tomás Guerra, the Inquisitor, had Turrets he could place. This would either lead to him being ridiculously overpowered or require way too much maintenance on the Killer's part to keep placing them down. And he had an assault rifle on top of that.
Declan Krefft, the Poacher, had proximity mines and a light machine gun. The gun could be designed similar to Plague's Corrupt Purge, but it would need to be WAY weaker to make up for always having it. And the mines would be way too powerful.
Eve Barnes, the Stalker, had a sniper rifle and a cloaking ability similar to Wraith. The latter would be too similar to an existing Killer and how do you balance a Killer with the precision of Deathslinger with the range of Huntress?
Leila Boudet, the Veteran, had a grenade launcher and an orbital strike that rained death from above. MAYBE these could be long range, area of effect hits that have a cooldown and/or need to be reloaded, but it would be so hard to balance.
You simply can't balance these powers in a game like Dead by Daylight.
Maybe as a paragraph with one of the Scavengers (I think Aria Vaughn/Sawbones would work best, given her character), but I'd much rather have chapters over paragraphs.

hehhe. Yeah, I mean, from Zari's bio we know he was incarcerated in 1860, so he made that deal with the warden in 1875. I think there's another timeframe given after that, but I forgot where and how much it was. but i think it was ~10 years, bringing us to 1885 or such.
If we assume the 'with age' means around 16 or 18 when Bayshore hired and exploited him, that'd set him at being.... 41-43 or such.
Also, coming back to the 'pallet to the knee' joke someone made: given how the leg brace looks in some of his outfits, I can imagine someone DID leave him for death after emptying a shotgun's cartridge into his knee...
Like, that maybe he overestimated himself and underestimated the guy he was after on his own, and the guy escaped after shooting Caleb's legs to pieces.
While doing some things related to Deathslinger's bio (writing it down on paper because... yeah I really don't have a reason), I got curious about something.
"Next, he made a steam-powered tunneling drill."
In DBD's world (or one of its worlds), Caleb "the Deathslinger" Quinn was the inventor of the Steam Drill. From what I can tell, over 100 different patents for steam drills were created between 1850 and 1875. Assuming Caleb's world's history closely mirrors ours, and knowing he invented the first steam drill, we know he created it before this time, possibly late 1849-early 1850. If we use your metric for his age when Bayshore hired him (16-18, which could work based on his time period), and he created the steam drill in the same year, he would be 26-28 when he finally confronted Bayshore.
After that, he spent fifteen years in Hellshire Penitentiary before the warden worked out a deal with him. By this time, he would be 41-43. He hunts down outlaws with the Hellshire Gang for the next six years before learning he had been sold out and taking his revenge around the age of 47-49 (again, based on your age metric, possibly older).

I agree that it would be hard against SWF, but think about this:
You're playing a game where you don't know who the killer is. You go to a generator, just like all of your teammates. Soon, one of them go there to work with you on the generator. Suddenly you got grabbed. As the game goes on, the killer should always try to get the players while they aren't together with anyone. That way, everytime someone sees a survivor, they will be afraid that it is the killer. This could work if the killer is good enough on baiting the survivors.
That might work on the first hit, but that's about it. After that, especially if it's a 4-man SWF, they'll check every Survivor on coms before they allow them to approach. If the teammate who the Killer is copying denies it's them, the Killer can't get close.
MAYBE against smaller teams, it would be more effective, but Trapper is proof that SWF groups are to much for Killers that rely on Survivors not having information.
If BHVR were EVER to do a Killer that can change to a Survivor, it would need to be for stealth, not disguise, and we currently have 4, 5 or 6 (depending on if you can count Spirit and/or Deathslinger) stealth Killers. Otherwise, it would be the weakest Killer in the game from the get-go.
-
This is probably the closest to my answer.
Freddy needs some very minor changes, but not a major nerf like the exclamation point would seem to indicate for that option.
Survivors just need to get out of the mindset that every Killer can be dealt with the same way. Killers like Freddy and Spirit are not like other Killers, and shouldn't be treated as such.
If Freddy is spamming snares around a loop, maybe, just maybe, it's time to LEAVE THAT LOOP!
-
Based on how much I can relax during the match after a few stressful matches and still come out on top.
Yes, Legion is top tier. I'm not saying they're the best, but I can sit back and still destroy a Legacy Nea and clicky clicky Pink Bunny Min, so... Git Gud. (Says the person who can't play Hillbilly.)

I said competent, not half assed multiplayer additions or an excuse to use a license.
"DBD will die the first time an asymmetrical horror game competes against it."
"Competent" is missing from this statement you gave me, so forgive my assumption that you meant general asymmetrical horror survival games. And Last Year didn't have either of those two things.

Well, you get shards for free playing the game and in 3 years you should definitely have enough saved to buy the DLCs that are not licensed.
I understand your grievance, but one should not act as if they do not give free DLC ability.
Yeah, I get what you're saying. It takes time to get them, but you can unlock them for free.

DBD will die the first time an asymmetrical horror game competes against it. DBD has problems at its core due to poor game design that the devs seem to choose to ignore. If it wasn't for the legal issues Friday The 13th probably would have already killed it. Even without additional content being added it's a much more enjoyable game. I never feel like I'm wasting my time playing it unlike half my matches in DBD.
Outside of Friday the 13th, three other games off the top of my head attempted to compete with DBD. Last Year failed. Resident Evil: Resistance failed. Predator: Hunting Grounds failed. All of which were speculated to compete with DBD for the asymmetrical horror survival genre. And only DBD stands on top.

My predicition with how BHVR are running things
PS It will be a few weeks after but DBD2020 sounds much better.
You mean this one? Yeah, this is a good read considering the game hasn't slowed down yet.
Okay, time to address the topic. Yeah, DBD has issues. Serious issues. Single skins costing as much as full DLC is one of those. And the new "Legendary" skins (which I still think are stupid and BHVR should feel bad for creating them) are even worse offenders. The amount of chapters that you must pay for that aren't licensed is also pretty bad. The last free chapter we got was with Huntress THREE YEARS AGO! Seriously, give people something else to give them a break. And the Battle Pass System doesn't belong in a Pay to Play game.
The game also has so many bugs that they could call the best exterminator in the world and still not clear out half of them.
But all that said, saying BHVR haven't become a voice would be lying. We all know how stingy Konami is, but BHVR was able to reach them and obtained Silent Hill, which is no small feat. In no other game can you play as Pyramid Head chasing down Ashley Williams down the halls of Hawkins Laboratory. Or be Michael Myers stalking down Cheryl/Heather Mason through an abandoned preschool in Ohio. No other game does this, and even if we got another similar game, it would have to compete with a game that has NINE different licenses from across the horror genre and we know has at least two more coming in.
I don't think DBD is going anywhere.
-
I first played DBD shortly before Clown came to PTB during a free week because I had been watching someone else play it and it looked fun.
I picked up the Huntress and the very first Hatchet I ever threw was a direct hit on a Bill way off in the distance.
Ever since then, I've either completely destroyed the Survivors as Huntress or been completely destroyed by them, often back to back with barely any games in between.
I think my first Survivor was Claudette, but other than that, I don't remember the match. And this was before we had the three unique perks unlocked at base, so no Self-Care for me.
-
Honestly, the fact that his best add-ons are brown and 1 yellow (Mew's Guts for reduced Shred cooldown, which is no different than Black Heart, just with an extra portal) is just pathetic.
-
Legion is one of my three main Killers. I average 3-4 kills with them. Does this mean they are a good Killer. Not really. I only got an average of 0-1 kill with (pre-rework) Hillbilly, but I don't see anyone call him weak. It's all a matter of skill. And I'm just decent at Legion.
You just need to learn how to play them. People tend not to heal against Legion, so you need to be able to punish them. If you know how to run loops as Killer and mind-game pallets, you've got half the job done already. You're a 115 movement Killer that's smaller than most 115 movement Killers (you say they move slowly, but they're one of the fast Killers), allowing you to more effectively hide yourself for those mindgames. If they decide to start healing, punish them by Frenzy stabbing them. Also, if you can, get Surge. It's seriously underrated.
If you're taking 20-60 seconds to catch up, you're playing wrong. That goes for any Killer. You should cancel your power right on top of Survivors (don't hit them when they're already affected by Deep Wounds, you'll just make them run faster from you). Bringing cooldown add-ons can help, even though they're barely noticeable.
Legion is not an easy Killer to play, and I don't think the Intermediate difficulty rating the game gives them is accurate either. Again, I may have a slight bias because Legion is one of my mains, but people seriously underestimate what Legion is capable of. Just ask the four Survivors who were on my hooks (all shortly after each other) before a single gen was finished. Or the legacy Nea and her clicky clicky pink bunny Min friend and their second chance perks who died to my mori-less sub-optimal add-on, playing for fun build with 2 gens left. I won't claim they're extremely strong, because that relies a lot on skill, but they're not as bad as people say.
-
I'd prefer if BHVR worked on fixing what they currently have, but new chapters are what keeps the game fresh and alive.
-
Everyone is going to hate me here, but I feel like this needs to be said.
For Myers, it really depends on whether you consider the add-ons and how they change powers to be canon. Why would holding a piece of a tombstone suddenly allow Michael to go against the Entity's wishes? Why would a lock of hair allow him to instantly bring Survivors down for longer. In fact, we know from the opening cinematic that the Survivors don't canonically need to be stabbed twice to go down. We see both Claudette and Jake, without being injured once, go down quickly. Claudette wasn't working on the gen when the Trapper picked her up anyway and hooked her. And Jake just goes straight down and is hauled off, clearly either dead or too weak to struggle against the Trapper's grip.
This clearly shows us that, while parts of the Killers' powers are canonical, much of the game we play is simply that: a game. While the add-ons and perks exist, they don't exist in the way we see them. Adam doesn't stand around with the Killer nearby and suddenly decides to grab a pebble. That's simply game balance. Having a glass-like hatchet doesn't erase Huntress's hatchets. That's simply game balance. A piece of a tombstone doesn't suddenly allow Michael to kill without permission. It's simply game balance.
Pyramid Head made a deal with the Entity. That's what allows him to go against the Entity. Or perhaps, once again, it's just game design.
Again, feel free to hate me for saying this, but it needed to be said.
-
I know Seiko already dealt with this, and probably better than what I could do, but there is much more to this post than just "Legion is Deathgarden copy."
First off, please don't use "Lore" to complain about things like this. I know the "Off-topic" sections says it's not DBD related, but this fits there much more than lore. I'm sorry if this comes off as rude, but I'm tired of seeing chapter suggestions, gameplay and complaints about how a character is a copy from another game in the section for LORE! The Off-topic and Suggestions sections are where the third and first belong, respectively.
Second, they work on these chapters in advance, and Darkness Among Us started development sometime before or after Curtain Call, which released BEFORE Deathgarden entered alpha. And there are next to no similarities between Legion and anything in Deathgarden. Except MAYBE running around as Scavenger, but that's no different to running around as Survivor.
So no, Legion was not made because Deathgarden failed. If ANY Killer was made due to that, it would be Deathslinger, who wanders around and shoots Survivors with his gun, which is what the Hunters did in Deathgarden. Quite a few people even pointed to the parallels between the two.
Thirdly, Legion was NOT OP at release. In fact, if you played them the way they were meant to be played, they were pretty balanced, maybe towards the weaker side. People figured out ways to cheese the game as them, and that's what made them too much to handle. Not them being inherently OP.
Fourth point, yes, Legion doesn't look like they could be a threat. THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT! YOU'RE MEANT TO UNDERESTIMATE THEM! The whole theme of Darkness Among Us is not falling for expectations. Jeff looks like the kind of guy who could snap your spine in a second and enjoy doing so, but he's a sweetheart. Someone like Frank looks like a genuine guy, but he's a complete sociopath who would gut you like a fish and laugh the whole time. If anything, they're MORE of a threat because you don't expect it.
Finally, about the whole "any two survivors could easily tackle to the ground and cave his/her skull in with a rock," I could say the same thing about the Hag and the Pig. They look way to fragile to handle someone like David, but the Entity gives them superhuman strength. It does the same for the Legion. And if you think that even without that added strength, they would be super weak, you misunderstand just how dangerous a knife is. In the hands of someone who doesn't know how to properly use a knife, I'd still take my chances with a bodybuilder than mess with someone who has a weapon. Best case with the former, I get out of the fight with maybe a few bruises. best case with the latter, I disarm them and get my arm slashed up in the process. And the Legion KNOWS how to use the knife.
We could discuss the gang part, but that's not the point of this. Yes, I agree that it's stupid that a gang doesn't make use of it outside of cosmetics. But that's a topic for another time and a different forum subsection.
-
Like I've said before, let BHVR add characters from wherever they want to add characters from. If they want an African Survivor, they'll make one. If they want an Australian Killer, they'll make one. If they want a mixed race character, they'll make one. There is no reason to force them to make these decisions if they don't want to do it.
-
- Doctor. Both before and since his rework, I've been pretty good with him. I can mess around for a good portion of the match and still get a 3-4k.
- Legion. Almost on par with my Doc. Just yesterday I took out two pretty toxic Survivors who had the skills to back it up (one was a Legacy Nea, if that means anything) and still had two gens left to go (I let the other two farm for a bit because I felt accomplished). I honestly think people just don't know how to play them.
- Most everyone else. Hag, Oni and Demogorgon are higher than the others and Huntress and Spirit have games where I decimate everything and games where I barely get a hook, often back to back. Other than that, I'm pretty average with most of them.
- Deathslinger. There's a reason I don't really play FPS games, and stick to melee when it's an option.
- Nurse. I just can't be bothered to learn her.
- Hillbilly. I can't hit the broad side of a barn with my chainsaw to save my life.
-
Won't happen, not because it wouldn't work, but because censors won't allow it. It's the reason we got Nancy and Steve rather than any of the kids in the Stranger Things DLC.
-
Déjà Vu is a great solo and beginner perk. It aids in preventing a 3-gen and is available to all Survivors right at the start, while Detective's Hunch requires either waiting for it in the Shrine or buying Detective Tapp (a character you can't obtain through normal gameplay due to the license) and leveling him up to 35.
I'm not saying that Déjà Vu is superior to Detective's Hunch (in fact, I prefer the latter), but for what it is, it does the job well. Maybe a change to see gen progress as well would help, but other than that, it's fine.
@AbsolutelyAmel said:
Same with Empathy
why bring Empathy where you can only see injured people when you can take Bond and see them all the time?
Simple answer: Range.
At max level, Bond can only go up to 36 meters, or in the rare instance with EVERYONE running Open-Handed (a perk that I've seen maybe once or twice outside of my own use), 60 meters.
At its LOWEST tier, Empathy goes up to 64 meters, above what Bond can do at MAX tier with 4 Open-Handeds. At max level, Empathy covers the entire map. And that's without a single Open-Handed.
It's a bit of give and take. Empathy has farther range but at the cost of only seeing injured Survivors. Bond can see Survivors regardless, but lacks range.
-
Maps are often way too dark for blood. The only times it's ever been useful are at lockers and on indoor maps. Beyond that, I barely even notice it exists.
-
Freddy's changes
- If Freddy is spamming snares around a loop, LEAVE THE LOOP! He's not a Killer that you can run around the same wall forever and that's perfectly fine!
- Boring =/= Overpowered.
- His lunge is the same as EVERY OTHER KILLER, it's his model that makes it confusing.
Look, Freddy needs changes, but these ain't it chief.
Pyramid Head changes
- Might as well just send them to a cage then, since they're not going to be any different.
- Mori's work based on Sacrifice Progress. They need to be changed, not Pyramid Head.
- Rites is so ludicrously hard to aim, and he's already slowed down while doing so due to it being connected to the trails.
Thinking these aren't drastic changes just shows pure ignorance. If anything, he needs a buff.
Deathslinger changes
- The harpoon moves as fast as a fully charged hatchet. If you can dodge that, you can dodge a smaller target. It doesn't need a nerf disguised as a buff.
- The chain already breaks pretty easily.
- You do this, you would need to make him faster to compensate. I hate his terror radius being so quiet, but increasing it wouldn't work.
- No. Just no.
- That would actually be faster. It's fine where it is.
As you said it yourself, Caleb is really good in 1v1's, as Killers should be. But that's ALL he's good at.
And those hatch changes are just stupid. If the Killer's bodyblocking the hatch, you've already lost. Get over it.
-
After Pyramid Head proved that video games aren't out of the question, many people jumped on the idea that this means FNAF isn't out of the question. Legion's Robbie skin further added fuel to the fire. And of course, there has been opposition, some understandable, some not.
Understandable opposition includes: the games are too cartoony (I mean, they're not realistic), they're not scary (fear is subjective, but I'm inclined to agree) and what would be his power.
Opposition that I don't understand includes: It's a kids game (this just speaks arrogance and shows that these people haven't actually paid any attention to what happens in them), it's marketed towards kids (I won't deny that it is, but Alien and Predator both have hundreds of children's merchandising, plus the books exist, and let's just say that they're not meant for kids) and the fanbase is terrible (which it is, but we're not much better).
I'm not against a FNAF chapter, but I'm not for one either. I think Springtrap would fit, but there are just far bigger names in horror that I would much rather see first.
Also...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hWo8nZw17cMark has played DBD. He has three episodes from a LONG time ago.
-
Yes and no.
It mostly has to do with the French language that most of the devs speak. In it, nouns are designated a gender, and the Entity is given a female designation, and the devs have used feminine pronouns in the past as well.
At the same time, however, the Entity is a cosmic horror that could easily be beyond the concept of gender (given that it suffers from a blight every now and then, it also seems plant-like, and genders in plants are VERY rare).
So it really depends on your point of view. One thing is pretty clear though, NOTHING points to the Entity being male.
-
The thing about... uhm... the Thing is how reliant it is on not facing SWF.
Against solos, it could be a truly horrific beast, but against SWF on coms... forget it.
This is probably the best rendition of a shapeshifter I've seen though. Survivor form for stealth rather than disguise. That is something that could feasibly work, but it would be very difficult to pull off.

This was a long time ago, but I still remember most of it clearly, and is the funniest moment I had that I keep bringing up in these.
I was chasing Meg and injured her. She vaulted into the Killer Shack and decided to t-bag me.
I was Huntress.

I'm not against a FNAF chapter, and maybe down the road, I'd like to see it. Give Scott some time to rebrand the series for a more mature audience (Help Wanted was a good first step, but it's not enough).
However, one of these is a game series spawned out of a last ditch effort by a failing indie game developer trying to follow his dreams.
The other is Alien. A series spawned by a movie that was so influential, it is preserved in the Library of Congress. These two literally don't compare.

I barely touch him as it is.
When he gets his Archive, I'll play him for it. I'll eventually prestige everyone, so I'll get to him eventually. And if I need to derank for whatever reason, I'l grab him.
Otherwise, he'll be forgotten.

For Survivor, it would need to be a really interesting character for me to drop Adam. There's just too much I like about him.
As for Killer, there would have to be a character who can transform into a panther-like beast for me to even CONSIDER dropping Doctor. Or maybe a Xenomorph, emphasis on the maybe.

Explain to me why you shouldn't still get right the ######### out if here? Explain it all you want, I don't care. But suggesting that is I creepy or should be in the game? Right, TF, out of here.
So me calling the mask "nightmare fuel" is what you clung to, I see.
In no way did I suggest that it should be in DBD. I was simply making a statement about the mask (which I personally creepier than almost 80% of what is in the game as it is, which is something you may not agree with). In fact, my only post in this thread before that was merely stating a flaw in another common argument often brought up. That was not meant to be me saying I want FNAF in DBD, especially when there are far more iconic characters out there who should have priority over a cheap jumpscare-fest. Maybe in the distant future (ie. two-three years), but not now.
I have gone through your posts about this subject and can respect your opinion, but verbally attacking people doesn't make it any more valid.
Have a good day/night sir/ma'am. We'll have to agree to disagree about the mask and move on like normal people, before this ends with both of us getting kicked.

Insectoid - Would be cool, and they have certainly considered it due to a PayDay 2 mask called the Clawer that was put in as cross promotion, but I could see it being hard to work with.
Pirate - Yes. Would love.
Banshee - As cool as that would be, we have enough ghost-like Killers.
Wendigo - Is Hag really that rare? Everything she is (aside from power) screams Wendigo.
Werewolf - Of all of these, this is the one I'd be most excited for. Think of the possibilities.
Troll - We have enough of those already. Jokes aside, trolls are more fantasy than they are horror (yes, werewolves are fantasy too, but they are more horror to me).
Vampire - The standard Dracula-esque vampire is really boring to me. If they did make a vampire, I'd prefer a Jiangshi.
Demon/possessed - I had a dream recently about a Killer who isn't aware of it due to the evil possessing him (and the forums wouldn't allow me to post it anywhere so I have what I remember saved in a Google Doc). Not exactly high on my list, but that did happen.
Gargoyle - As much as I love gargoyles, they have the same issue trolls have. They're more horror than trolls, but they're still more fantasy than horror.
Evil Knight - This is what I thought we were getting with Demise of the Faithful. I'd like to see it for real.
As for what I personally want, some sort of fallen angel-like creature (or someone with delusions of such grandeur) would be interesting to see.

The moment you tried to equate silent hill with FnaF cringe, is the moment I decided you are well past your depth.

Get right the ######### out of here. Please, really, just GTFO.
If someone explaining something to someone who is confused about said something that had nothing to do with you is enough for you to very rudely tell someone to go away, I would recommend finding a therapist, because that is NOT a normal reaction.

Who's Vanny? My knowledge of FNAF currently only extends as far as Sister Location.
She's a cultist of Glitchtrap (who is essentially a computerized Springtrap with a far more haunting appearance)... and that's pretty much all we know right now (EDIT: that isn't speculation).
Oh and her mask is this nightmare fuel.
