Double BP = More killers since killer does give more BP overall. Which explains the long queues. WIll get back to normal in 3 days.

That makes sense why I can't get into games right now for dailies or just for fun as Killer, and I'm at a pretty low rank (18, I think).

  • I generally consider Dwight to be a standalone, Meg to correspond with Trapper, Claudette with Wraith, and Jake with Hillbilly. Also, Bill (who I don't see on your list, might just be going past him) is also a standalone, but I pair him with Leatherface because he is a standalone killer and both are licensed. There is one more Survivor than Killer, so one of the originals doesn't have a killer.

I like the idea of this.
The game is rated M, so I don't think they'd be worried about sexual assault cases. I mean, Philip (the Wraith) literally beat his boss's skull until nothing was left but "a wet mass of red flesh", so a sexually assaulted character wouldn't be far from my disbelief. The backstory is really nice though.
Ability wise, as everyone else has said, Penance is a little overpowered, but would defiantly separate her from the others. When I first read it, I read only hooking one Survivor to gain Ascendance, so I saw that as way too powerful. Reading it again though, considering how hard it can be to hook all Survivors once, that isn't all THAT overpowered. Bloodlust isn't exactly reliable, so it not building up during Absolution isn't that major, the speed doesn't seem bad, and I think every Killer main would like to be able to break pallets easier. The lunge just seems a little powerful and would get Survivors angry REALLY fast.
Hex: Genesis is a bit much. Maybe have Tier 3 go to 5% or something along those lines, but going down to 0% is just a bit overpowered for the low level perk.
Prophet: I think this one is a bit situational. If all the other survivors are close by, then it is really nice. Otherwise, there's not much point in it because you are still chasing or just downing your Obsession. Cool idea, but I think it should do a little more. Unless you're Nurse or really want to mess with people.
Repent: Not really feeling this one. Unless I was the Doctor with illusionary pallets, I wouldn't really use this perk. Unless it's there for a decent length of time (you didn't specify time), I don't see any use in it.
Overall though, I really like the idea, I was just saying a few criticisms that were in my head right now. Can I also say that I think for a mori she would "pray" to the Entity (who she still thinks is God) to absolve the Survivor's sins before brutally stabbing them. I think that wold tie in to her backstory and role as the Archangel very nicely.

I just want to make sure that you understand what Repent is, when each survivor is hooked for the first time ( Like BBQ ) it will** physically drop the nearest pallet so you could break it. **I did this because it would come to a total of 4 less pallets that the survivors can use so I find it pretty strong, but I understand everybody has their own take on a perk's effectiveness.
Again thank you so much for taking the time to look though!

P.S. I like your Mori idea, I originally thought of it to be what she did to her husband where she carves a cross into you chest and then plunges the sword into you. Both of these are cool ideas!

Okay, that makes a bit more sense then. Thanks for the clarification.

Huh, that bold text didn't work.

  • You should also know that Min is her first name, but because of Chinese naming conventions that are centuries old, her family name of Feng comes first.

    1. Feng Min - Design is good, and I connect with her the most as a gamer
    2. Meg - I have a serious thing for braids
    3. Claudette - First I played as and very good at blending in
    4. Jake - Highest level and also decent at blending in
    5. Ace - Calm and collected

In Nea's Lore it says that Nea's friends dared her to go to Protus Penn Asylum to tag it, but if you look everywhere on asylum or the clown's new map, it is nowhere to be found.

Also one more question, Nea and Kate are both artists, Nea creates paintings and tags government buildings with it and Kate creates songs. Both of them came with a killer and they both came from the same location, the asylum maps. So were they friends before this or is it just me going crazy?

According to Kate's lore, the Entity took her from a forest, not the asylum like Nea. So, unlikely they were friends or even knew each other.

  • I was chasing a Bill as the Trapper. All five Generators were done when I actually got him down (I started the chase shortly before). I was standing by the hill in one of the Coldwind Farm maps (Thompson House, I want to say). Claudette tried shining a light in my eyes to drop Bill, I turn quickly to avoid it, Tapp gets trapped right in front of me. I hit him so he's down when he got out. I hook Bill, then chase Claudette away from the now free Tapp. As I'm about to chase Claudette further, Meg comes running in my direction from the open door. I hit her, she runs into another trap. Claudette comes back, I down her, hook her, Bill dies on his first hook, Meg couldn't get out, so I hooked her, then I found Tapp and hooked him. One of my most memorable games.

There was also that time an injured Meg t-bagged me after vaulting through a window. While I was playing Huntress. With 3 hatchets left.

It's not something that was said, but it kind of fits. I was chasing a Meg, and she jumped through a window on Mother's Dwelling. I looked in, she stood there, and started t-bagging me. I was playing Huntress. You can probably figure out what happened next.

A DC right after you picked her up.

I can't remember if she had DC, but it was her second hook. She was the only death that game, but you do not try t-bagging a Huntress through a window when you're injured.

  • There are only two Killers that I feel have an excuse to camp. Leatherface (His ability is basically a command to camp) and Hag (Without add-ons, her ability is useless unless you camp near her traps). I'm saying this as a Killer main, camping takes the fun out of the game, and isn't very logical as it gives other Survivors so much time to work on Generators. What I do is I look around the immediate area, then I start walking around the Generators looking for Survivors. I honestly feel bad when I chasing another Survivor right next to a hooked Survivor because I don't feel like I'm giving them a chance.

  • Anything that affects increases his Aura, as that is what affects his shock radius. Distressing is defiantly a good one to have, and Monitor and Abuse can be good if you only switch to attack when you're right on top of the survivor. Don't know about many other perks because I have so few as him though, so this is the best I can do.

It would never happen. Truthfully, lore wise, in my opinion, every single trial the Survivors do not remember each other.

Lore wise, Benedict Baker mentions remembering and speaking to other Survivors while at the campfire. So the Survivors do remember each other, and some of them probably do know each other. I don't think it's impossible, but I do think that the chance of them seeing each other enough to actually form a relationship is pretty unlikely.

David doesn't exactly have a weapon anymore. None of the Survivors do, which is why they cannot fight the killers. Also, and this is just a guess, but I believe the Entity has strengthened the Killers, hence why Killers like Amanda are able to carry Survivors around, break pallets, and damage generators.

You mean David King, not Tapp, don't you?
The answer is still the same, I just forgot the fact that there are two Davids, since Tapp comes from Amanda's world as well I thought you were talking about him, but King is strong looking.

Before I give my thoughts i have a question if I have insidious on freddy does it make his lullaby go away when insidious is active?

Not according to the game's wiki, same for the Huntress humming, making Insidious useless for Freddy (Tinkerer too, as it doesn't affect any of his add-ons)

Interesting! Yeah I've heard/read things about how killers who enjoy killing (Freddy, Amanda, Micheal, Leatherface) don't take any convincing or coercing. However, the spikes and hooks sticking out of The Trapper, The Nurse being suffocated by a pillow case, and The Doctor's mouth and eyelids stapled open are all forms of Entity torture.

It's said that they "aren't enjoying themselves" and some of them have to be coerced into killing. I believe that in-between trials- The Entity it torturing them to keep them in line. (sorry if this has already been said!)

It hasn't been said yet. Yeah by the description of Leatherface's mark add-ons, Billy's mark add-ons and NOED, the Entity doesn't exactly treat them to some down time in-between trials.

It's curious to me that Leatherface would get it though, considering his entire existence, in the movie and in DBD lore, is loyal, willful subservience.

Let's not forget about the Hag. She got that claw from somewhere, and I don't think it was from her time being eaten.

The Entity is powerful, but it doesn’t have full and complete control. Even in its own realm. Michael Myers can overpower The Entity. If he uses Judith’s Tombstone or Tombstone piece when he reaches Evil Within 3 he can overpower The Entity and break the rules.

He can Kill without hooks (Mori), and do as he pleases. Even the Entity can not stop him. To me, this makes Myers the most powerful Killer in DBD lore wise, as he can literally “break the rules” and the Entiry has no say in the matter. All other Killers are bound by these “rules” of Killing, Myers is not.

According to one of the Huntress's perks (if those can be considered canon to the lore), the Entity has trouble controlling her as well. Beast of Prey literally says "Your lust for a kill is so intense that your connection with the Entity is momentarily lost, making you totally unpredictable." So if these are canon, Michael isn't the only hard one to control. Hag too with Hex: Devour Hope, but the Entity does have some control over that.

  • Earlier today, I saw someone propose that Skill Checks from perks (Self Care, Sabotage, etc.) don't wake the Survivors up. As I saw this, it would force the Survivors to be a bit more careful with Generators, make them unable to just Self-Care Fail when Freddy is literally right there (very annoying when it does happen) and would force them to actually find others to wake them up. Pretty similar to what was proposed by Sul-Furik.
Right now, he's not the best killer by any means. I just find him fun to play, which is why I do play him frequently, but he seriously needs help.

  • I surprisingly don't have much trouble with Decisive Strike. Yeah, it's there, but I've only had like 3 out of 7 people with it actually make it. It's part of the game, so I just live with it. So they stun me. I just follow their tracks and find them pretty quickly.

lol, agreed.  how do you get the profile picture

Click on your (lack of) profile picture, it will take you to your profile. You will see a larger version of your nonexistant profie picture. Click on it, select what you want, and press save at the very bottom. You now have a profile picture. (I want to say most forums operate like this)

  • A decent Huntress is really terrifying (I should know, just played said game yesterday.) The constant need to not go in a straight line and find the safest path out of her hatchets is very thrilling. Can't say much about Michael, only had one game against him, but I'd imagine that it could be intense. This may seem like an odd one, but Freddy is also decent to go against, because when he does find you, you can't really hide very well (I have literally 0 skill check related perks on my Survivors, unless you include the starting ones, which I haven't used, that Huntress game was me playing Tapp to get a daily done)

  • It's a toss-up between four characters.
    1. Feng Min - I connect to her as a gamer, plus I just like her appearance. Not very good at blending in though, so I normally have her coat skin instead of her t-shirt.
    2. Meg Thomas - She has braids. Literally no other reason.
    3. Claudette Morel - How to phrase this in a way that doesn't sound racist. She's black, which really helps her blend in (Did that work?). Also, while not on Meg's level, her hair is cool.
    4. Jake Park - Similar to Claudette. Wearing green really helps you blend in with the grass. Also, he looks really nice in the intro, as well as my highest level Survivor (mostly because I have horrible luck as him and tried getting some decent perks).

  • Story time
I was chasing Bill as Trapper when someone finished the final generator. I managed to down Bill. Literally right in front of me, Tapp gets trapped, I hit him so he's down when he gets out. Claudette is standing there trying to shine a light in my eyes. I turn and quickly get up the hill I was standing by (Map was Coldwind Farm). I hook Bill, then Claudette gets Tapp out of the trap. I chase her away before she can heal him. I'm about to go chase her to hook her when I see Meg literally running in my direction to save Bill. I hit her, she runs. Claudette comes back while Meg runs into a trap. I manage to hook Claudette, then Meg, Bill was already dead, then I hooked Tapp. They had the doors open and everything.

Short story short, pretty much exactly what you had. Just a different reaction from the Survivors, as the Meg basically said they were being stupid for not leaving that one area, forcing me to "camp".

When one of my team mates DC because they are entitled little babies that cant handle losing or the match not going their way. Nothing annoys me more because they basically screw over the whole team. To any of the dumbasses that think DCing is acceptable. Please uninstall. You don't hurt the killer. You deny him some points but thats it and when you do this ######### it just makes his job that much easier. If you don't want to play the match don't join a lobby in the first place.

The Killer actually does get Bloodpoints when someone quits (Have had it happen a few times, twice in one game one time)

As both a Survivor and Killer, I despise camping. It is boring as killer and makes the Survivor pretty much guaranteed death because no one can save them. I mean, I'll check every now and then, but I normally go looking for the other survivors. Unless I see a Survivor literally right there when I hook someone. That has led to accidental camping, but I try to avoid it.

  • @JetTheWaffleCat said:
I think that making skillchecks given by perks (Self Care, Overcharge, Sabo) shouldn't wake up a survivor. It gives better play variations for the survivor and Freddy himself. It would make it a lot more difficult for a survivor to wake up without being detected on a gen.

That would be nice. It would make playing against Freddy a lot riskier then just "I lost him, let's fail at a self care check, then start properly healing." It would also probably encourage a lot better teamwork, trying to find other survivors to wake you up so you don't alert Freddy. I like this idea.

  • If you can play him correctly, Freddy isn't exactly weak. What I do is put one person to sleep, then just track them until I can hook them. I've had games where I get all four survivors, and I've had games where I get none. I've even had someone rage quit from me playing Freddy (why, I don't know, they hid pretty well the whole game).

Probably not the best strategy, but it works.

    1. Doctor - Extremely powerful (if used correctly, which isn't exactly easy), nice concept, absolutely terrifying looking, and his lore is very well done.
    2. Huntress - First game I ever played was as her, so she'll always have a connection with me. Being ranged gives her many advantages as well. Like throwing a hatchet through windows at people taunting you (yes, this did happen to me) Plus, she requires you to think about your actions (I've missed so many hatchets through stupid decisions). Lore is great as well, I just enjoy playing Doctor more.
3 and 4. I'm stuck between Freddy and Pig. On one hand, I like Freddy's gameplay and have gotten quite a few kills as him. On the other hand, the Pig is just as fun to torment survivors. Really can't pick a winner here.
    3. Hard to say, I like most killers. Just not the Hag. I'd probably say Michael, but I have literally not leveled him at all. Maybe one thing, and that's it. My first Nurse game took place at the Meat Plant (you can probably see the issue), Hillbilly I was stuck on Haddonfield unable to figure out I had to HOLD the mouse button for the chainsaw to continue until the Exit Gates were already open, Leatherface and Trapper are okay, I guess, and I have terrible luck as the Wraith. So yeah. Probably Michael.
(On a side note, I've played the Clown once during PTB, don't have him for the real thing yet, so don't want to say anything much about him, just that I wasn't overly impressed. But again, one game doesn't mean much.)
