Trapper: Evan is EXTREMELY strong even without the Entity. Look at those muscles. They might be able to do it, but it will be the fight of their lives.
Wraith: While not nearly as muscular as Evan, Philip managed to take down Azarov on his own, and Azarov is described (in the old lore that you really have to dig around to find) as a large and muscular man. Sure, in that version, Philip hit him in the collarbone with a crowbar, but he's no pushover.
Hillbilly: Max's deformities might be his downfall, but he also broke down a brick wall on his own, so he's pretty strong.
Nurse: Without the Entity, I don't think Sally can even walk. She's always just floating, which isn't something that she can normally do.
Shape: Michael has (depending on the timeline) survived burning in a fire, multiple gunshots, explosions, stabbings, electrocution, etc. You can't bring down the embodiment of evil.
Hag: Without the Entity increasing her strength, I'm fairly certain even Ace could take down Lisa.
Doctor: Herman's electrokinesis appears to be from the Entity, and without that, he's not exactly muscular. He's a psychotic scientist, not a fighter. They could take him.
Huntress: Anna has taken on both the German and Russian armies ON HER OWN! Ace has luck, Bill has military training, David has muscles and Ash has experience, but none of them can handle someone who's been hunting and fighting all her life for survival. Anna wins.
Cannibal: Leatherface hasn't pulled off ANY of the survival feats that Michael has. He's done some very strong things, but nothing that Ash, David and Bill can't handle.
Nightmare: Without the Entity, Freddy's power has one limit: the infinite limits of dreams. Unless they could drag him out of the dream world, Freddy would have a field day with them.
Pig: Amanda died from a gunshot and was thrown around by someone with David's muscular stature. She stands no chance.
Clown: Kenneth was an athlete and had a reputation around his strength in the circus, but those days are far behind him.
Spirit: Rin is an onryō. There's one rule around those creatures: don't mess with an onryō.
Legion: Individually, they wouldn't be a problem, but all four at once would prove problematic for our heroes. I think they could do it, but it would rougher than many people are saying here.
Plague: Adiris literally couldn't stand anymore before the Entity reached her. Her leg was too swollen.
Ghost Face: The thing that makes Danny so dangerous is his cunning. In a one on four without the Entity's power, he's got nothing.
Demogorgon: They dead. Ash and Bill would put up a good fight, but they dead.
Oni: Kazan is a trained samurai warrior, heavily armored and an absolute giant. He could crush them with his bare hands.
Deathslinger: Caleb has a brace on his leg. Doesn't look like it will do him any favors.
Executioner: Pyramid Head is the embodiment of guilt. It's not something you can easily deal with. Sure, the Entity gave him powers he wouldn't normally have, but that doesn't change his power.
Blight: We know the serum gives Killers an unbelievable amount of strength, and Talbot's taken ALL of it. I don't think he would win, but it would be a close fight.

Xeno is literally my dream killer.
That said, I did bet my profile/sanity on Descend Beyond being Candyman, so I would defiantly say he's high on my list (plus, it's TONY TODD! How could we NOT have him?)
-
Normally, I wouldn't really care about this topic. I just feel it doesn't have any place in a game where the characters are trapped in an eternal cycle of death until the ultimately lose all hope and become soulless husks tossed aside into an endless void. I think sexuality is the LAST thing on their mind given the circumstances.
That being said, BHVR did make a big deal about it during Pride Month, and we're still waiting on actions to back up those words. That is the price of making such statements during such a time: people start expecting action to support your words. BHVR has done practically nothing besides a few things DURING Pride Month, and if they did do something inclusive, it was so small that it passed under my radar. Which, considering I check these forums multiple times a day because I'm bored, would be impossible.
-
This has been a question on a lot of people's minds. The issue is that, while Danny isn't licensed, his mask is, and to unlock his story, you would need to pay real money to do his challenges unless they only did generic things with his perks and general things he's good at (like gen grabs).
Honestly, it's all on R.J. Torbert (the man behind the license), and he's been the most willing license holder to work with.
-
Feng Min. We're both lone wolf gamers.
-
I know it's a day early (for me anyway, don't know about anyone else), but I honestly don't know when, or even IF, I'd be able to update this with Blight's actual release. I have too much work to do tomorrow and I like to get these done in a timely manner.
Same goes for Wraith's Archive when it's released in full. It might be severely delayed depending on how much I need to do.
-
Hoping for his hitboxes fixed, but I also really hope they fix his height.
Yeah, he's hunched over, but he's marked as a Tall killer, I expect him to have his camera placed appropriately. As is, he's at the Hag's camera height, which just doesn't look right for him. Fix the camera, or mark him as Average.
-
Never seen any of the Hellraiser films, so I only know the basics.
Seems like the case with Pennywise of being too powerful for this game to properly make use of.
-
He's recognizable, sure, but they would need to change the fundamentals of his character in order to make him work.
-
Literally my most wanted Killer.

The “Tragic Love Opera” came in february of 2019, while the lore stream in which the devs confirmed that they could interact with each other came in October of 2018, so I doubt that the answer was just to promote the outfits:
Do Killers interact with other Killers in the fog? If so, how?
Farah - "Are we teasing the thing?"
Dave - "You just did, I guess... I think it's totally possible. I think some are rivals; most are neutral. I think that the community creates amazing fanart and content. I would like to make a canon that The Wraith and The Nurse have something."
The answer also does not conflict with the answer that they gave in the first lore Q/A, because in there ,they were talking about the killers being separated from each other when stalking the survivors. It never said that there couldn’t be interactions between each other and well, in that time, the lore wasn’t as thought as it was in the stream, so for the moment, the stream seems more trustworthy for me:
Well, there's only one Killer at a time in the lobby."
"They're kept separate from each other and then they're taken to a place where they can stalk the victims."
So for me, yes, they can interact with each other, even if they are kept separated most of the time, is still something that can happen and has happened with Wraith and the Nurse.
October 2018 was the first time we've seen the Alchemist, who as we now know, experimented on the other Killers. Hence the "Are we teasing the thing?" from Farah. The outfits are also designed a bit in advance (though I highly doubt as long as chapters) so Dave's quote about making Wraith and Nurse's thing canon could be referencing that.
I will give in that sure, maybe they were saying that Killers do interact, but those quotes just feel off. If Dave is one of the guys working on the lore (which I can't remember honestly), why would he say "I THINK it's totally possible." Doesn't bring a lot of confidence.
And that other quote DOES conflict with that statement. "they're kept SEPARATE from each other and THEN they're taken to a place where they can stalk the victims." This implies that they are indeed separate until it is time to stalk the Survivors.
This is the kind of thing that I wish they outright stated, because I'm tired of all of this flip-flopping around the subject.
-
We really don't know.
Some of the devs say the Killers are all in their separate realms, awaiting their next trial, unable to move from one realm to another until it is time to do so. Some of the devs say that the Killers are able to roam around freely and that Wraith and Nurse are in love.
I honestly believe that statement was made solely to legitimize the Wraith and Nurse Valentine's Day cosmetics they made, and it's the statement most people have snatched onto.
I don't, because cosmetics (besides the Legion, Blight and POSSIBLY Prestige) are not canon in my eyes. That is how I've treated them since their inception, and the more bizarre cosmetics that have been coming out recently (cough Greek collection cough) just continue to prove that.
-
Ghost Face is just him, but he has decent perks and is pretty strong when his reveal decides to work properly (or not properly and Survivors are ten inches from you and can't reveal you).
Demogorgon's DLC is the most expensive. Nancy has some decent perks, Steve has completely forgettable perks, Demogorgon has Surge, which can be a great perk for M1 killers and it's just fun to play.
Pyramid Head's DLC gives you Soul Guard, which remains a very situational perk unless you mix it with Unbreakable, in which case you're using two perk slots that could be used for other perks, and Pyramid Head, whose fun but difficult to use. Forget the other perks, they're pretty much useless.
Freddy's DLC gives you Freddy, widely regarded as one of the most powerful Killer in the game, and that's about it. Quentin's perks aren't that great (I find some use in Wake Up! that others apparently don't, but I'd rather run other perks)
-
We have Legion, who are a group on teenagers. I think that's as close as we'll get due to censorship.
It would be kind of cool, but it's very unlikely.

Mother's Dwelling may be on the Red Forest near to Chernobyl but the Temple of Purgation is located in Babylon which is in the north of Africa. It's weird how The Entity just stick together places that are really far apart.
Yeah, the Temple really annoys me. They claim it's the Entity taking things from the Killers' memories and imperfectly recreating it, but it should have seen that the Temple was not in a forest.
Though I must correct you. Babylon was in Iraq, in the Middle East, which is actually part of Asia. Still nowhere near the Red Forest, but it is a little bit closer to Russia than northern Africa.
-
No, Rin is an onryō. VERY different.
Oni are Japanese demon ogres born from the most wicked of humans when they die and appear in one of the Buddhist hells.
Onryō are vengeful spirits of those who died with extremely strong passions, such as jealousy, hatred, or, in Rin's case, rage. They closely resemble the way the person died (in Rin's case, chopped to pieces with a katana).
-
Trapper I think is fine. While I'll agree that it is boring, it's also very basic, which is kind of what he stands for. The basic character.
Wraith needs to be changed. From the Survivor perspective, you don't even see what's going on. Something like a jab into the Survivor's collarbone like he did to Azarov (in his older, more graphic, better, but also less accurate lore because of his weapon) would be cool. I like the leg grab, but that's the only thing that makes it interesting.
Hillbilly is fine as is.
-
The MacMillan Estate is located in Seattle, Washington. We know this from Evan's Archive Blood, Brass and Grit
Autohaven Wreckers has a car with an Illinois license plate on it and an old, discontinued offering for it was a Virginia license plate. So it's in one of those places.
Coldwind Farm is Hillbilly's realm. Hillbilly is a term that usually gets affiliated with the Tennessee area of the U.S.
Crotus Prenn Asylum is tricky, but I always just imagine Pennsylvania (Prenn reminds me of Pennsylvania). A bit of a stretch though.
Haddonfield is a fictional town in Illinois.
Backwater Swamp is likely in the Louisiana area. It's kind of known for the bayous.
Léry's Memorial Institute is in Illinois. Illinois seems to be popular.
Red Forest is the name of the forest within a 10-square kilometer area of Chernobyl.
Springwood is a fictional town in Ohio.
Gideon's Meatpacking Plant is in New York City. One of the agents in one of the movies mentions a code specific to New York City.
Yamaoka Estate is in the Kagawa Prefecture of Japan.
Ormond is a fictional town in Alberta, Canada (although there is a real town called Ormond in Ontario, that's not the Ormond in DBD).
Hawkins National Laboratory is in Indiana.
Grave of Glenvale is in Arizona.
Silent Hill is a fictional town in Maine.
I think that's all of them.
-
I just really don't like the idea of legendary skins. I get it for licensed characters, as it allows us to go further into those licenses (which they are doing with Silent Hill because Konami clearly realizes there's a gold mine here). Tapp could become Matthews or Rigg (who he should have been to begin with, but whatever) for example. Amanda could become Hoffman or Kramer himself. I still wouldn't buy them despite my preference because I don't like spending money on cosmetics in any game, but I can understand doing it for them.
Legendary skins for original characters, regardless of whether they are Auric cell only or can be bought with shards, should never be considered. Sure, with Felix it might give us his father, but then it just takes away from Felix himself. And then you have the Killers that actually matter. I don't care how cool the minotaur skin for Oni is, at the end of the day, it just Oni in a costume because there is no difference. The Minotaur uses the same kanabo, absorbs the same blood, uses a xiphos that looks oddly like a katana, does the same Japanese honor stances Oni does when hitting a Survivor, and the list goes on. It's not a minotaur, it's just Oni pretending to be Greek for a day.
And on top of that, because the skin exists, we now have ZERO chance at getting a REAL minotaur Killer. While I don't feel like a minotaur would have made a great idea for a Killer, now we'll never know if it could have worked because Oni is playing dress-up over there. That's the worst part of this: Legendary Skins take ideas for what could potentially be great Killers and Survivors and puts them on already existing characters, regardless of whether or not it makes sense to begin with.
And that's why I don't like legendary skins and will NEVER support them in this game. They take away from the actual characters (ESPECIALLY original characters) that we have already and ruins chances at characters that could be really cool.
If you support legendary skins, good for you. I can't, and never will.

Pretty sure that the Blight is still experimenting with Survivors from the info of some of his add-ons and we know that Killers can meet each other in the realm, so the Blight would have a lot of chances to create more “blight” versions of killers.
Maybe on Survivors, or those add-ons are from before his transformation. The Hunger tells us "He'd rip survivors and killers apart limb from limb for that feeling again." This was before he transformed. During his time as a "Survivor," I don't get the feeling he was entirely... friendly. Given his state of mind when he entered the realm (carving Death is only the beginning into the stone until his fingers bled and then into his chest), I don't think he was interested in really helping the others, and we also know Survivors can kill each other, through Arcus 893, which says "The other Survivors drowned him in mud to shut him up." Death is heavily implied.
And the thing about Killers meeting each other in the realms directly conflicts with other statements made that they are in their own realms until pulled for trials, with the Legion being the only ones who are able to meet each other.
Talbot wants the serum for himself, and only himself, now as well, only occasionally using it to murder Survivors. Even if he is sane enough to experiment on other Killers, and even if he CAN reach those other Killers, his addiction could be too powerful for him to overcome now.

So if time isn't a line and more of Jeremy bearimy then Talbot would know the existence of other killers outside the killers we already know exists
Correct.
The best example of this would probably be Plague. Historically, she would be the oldest Killer, but for all we know, she could have been the most recent arrival when Talbot began his experiments.
Theoretically, this could also explain why none of the licensed Killers have blighted cosmetics: they came into the realm after the experiments were already done.
-
Any future blighted cosmetics can simply be explained away as being before Talbot's transformation. Time is not linear in the Entity's realm.
He's too unstable to continue his experiments and no other Survivor that we see knows how to deal with the Killers like he did.
-
While I don't approve of you having "Feng" as her first name (Chinese names are written family name-given name), Min is the most like me, so of course I'll choose her.
-
- There's already an entire thread about this question. Right here. https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/45371/what-songs-do-you-think-the-legion-mix-tapes-have#latest
- Max's room doesn't seem to exist on the Thompson House, the crusher Philip threw Azarov into in the official (but way less interesting) version of his lore doesn't exist, and Leatherface, while introduced with the Grim Pantry, isn't usually connected to that map, instead being affiliated with Coldwind Farm, if any map at all.
- The only map we somewhat know the geography of is the Dead Dawg Saloon, where we can see mountains beyond the walls. The exit gates and hatch don't take us there anyway, instead taking us directly back to the campfire to start the trials all over again.
- Most likely, yes, although it is up for debate.
- Rin Yamaoka was chosen due to her incredible rage. The Entity originally wanted her father, but her rage was far too appetizing. Adiris made one final prayer to her gods, and the Entity caught wind of it. With the Entity being a being of eldritch power, Adiris believes it to be one of her gods, and will do anything for it.
- Yes, Kazan is a hypocrite. It's part of what makes him such an interesting character.
- Nea went for the Asylum, Jeff grew up in Ormond and painted the Legion mural (well, unless you fully believe the Legion's Archive), and Zarina went investigating Caleb's old prison cell. And that's not counting the licensed characters. From what Kate's Archive tells us about her, she can notice things that no one else can. Like there's some sort of connection between her and other dimensions. After I read that, I immediately put together that the other Survivors are the same way. There's some connection that they all have. So basically chosen.
-
Pennywise is iconic and all, and he'd be nice to see for that reason, but he's an extradimensional being that feeds on fear and took a group of people who got somewhat lucky to kill. You can't show that kind of power without being WAY to powerful for DBD, but if you don't give him his full strength, he'll be another easily loopable Killer that people seem to hate.

Can you give me a screenshot of that revelations text? I have yet to unlock it
Here you go.
-
I believe they took it out due to it being a large part of the multiple Killers in one match glitch.
I miss it too, but sometimes things like this need to happen for the greater good.
-
I have a massive fear of bees and their relatives (apiphobia), which makes it really hard to watch the Candyman movies despite him being one of my favorite horror icons; being anywhere near water that goes beyond knee height (pretty sure this would be straight up hydrophobia) due to nearly drowning in a pool as a kid; clowns (coulrophobia) because... I have no idea; and one that I don't really know how to even look up, which is accidentally hurting those I care about (which has led me to be really distant from said people I care about).
-
I find Jason to be pretty bland, but I understand why people want him, and it would be nice to have such a big name.

It's the Alchemist.
I'm not saying he isn't the Alchemist from the Hallowed Blight events and The Hunger archive, because he is. But from here on out, he has become the Blight, and will be referred to as such.

No?? He's The Alchemist. Michael Myers says The Shape, Pyramid Head says The Executioner.
He's very clearly not called the Alchemist, but rather the Blight.
-
We were wrong about it being licensed. You can get Felix and the Blight (he's not the Alchemist anymore) using Iridescent Shards, which honestly would be the better option for this Chapter unless they drastically buff Blight or you really want Felix's yellow suit jacket.
-
Leatherface uses a Poulan 306a, and he presumably has it put together in a way that it doesn't overheat quickly.
Hillbilly uses what appears to be a custom-made chainsaw made from random scrap parts he could scavenge, therefore leading it to overheat much quicker. Plus, his hand is practically right on the engine while Leatherface grabs a handle.
-
If I need to destress in DBD, I'll just go play Doctor or Legion. The former of which I can go against decent Survivors and still relax while playing because he's so much fun and the latter of which is so satisfying to stab with.
-
Use shards and get him for the perks, because they are actually pretty decent. I wouldn't recommend using real money on Descend Beyond unless you REALLY want Felix's yellow-gold suit.
-
No, the Blight is a Scottish guy from the 1800s named Talbot Grimes. He does have Vigo's journal as an add-on, but they are different characters.
-
No, that's normal. Because technically they are free until they release, they're placed with the other free characters. They'll be at the bottom when Descend Beyond releases in full.
-
Here you go. Full picture.

I have a lot at stake here.
Welp, a bet's a bet.

Like most people are suggesting, buy Freddy and work on building up shards for Plague. It might take more time, but your wallet will thank you.
-
David is much larger than Mika was, and as such has more mass behind his punches, he's just as capable of a fighter, and he's not afraid to fight dirty.
Ace has insane willpower, but he was just barely handling Mika. David is an entirely different beast.
-
The only thing I'm really missing right now is being able to say gg in post game chat and everyone getting it. I'll miss being able to show good sportsmanship.
At the same time though, I pretty much never have to see "gg ez" again, so...
-
I'll be honest, I don't see a werewolf. Looking at the last frame, I don't see this "snout" people are bringing up, And the "fur" people see is more than likely just his cloak being tattered as a result of his transformations into a blight-monster not unlike what we've seen from the Hallowed Blight and Withering Blight cosmetics.
To further add on to the evidence that the Alchemist isn't a werewolf, here's what we can see from his transformation.
Admittedly, it's not much to work with, but glowing orange mouth and eyes just don't seem very "werewolf" to me. They do, however, scream "Blight."
I would love a werewolf Killer, but the Alchemist just doesn't seem likely.
-
You can have a fourth perk, as long as you run the other three.
-
For a while, I was saying Candyman, even staking my profile on it being Candyman.
Now I'm almost certain it's the Alchemist, but a bet's a bet.

I hate how we have a Babylonian temple in a Russian forest. It was pure laziness on every conceptual level.
-
Anything to do with Hillbilly, Most Nurse dailies (I might do chase ones), Spirit's special daily (Getting a hit in that short timeframe is annoying), Ghost Face's special daily (too much needs to go right for this to work), and non-specific Survivor dailies (I like having a specific character to do them).
-
Can't believe I'm about to bite this, but here I go.
Removing all of the licensed Survivors BHVR had no control over the ethnicities of, this is what we come up with. Through this, we can see that (other than how small the cast is without licensed characters) there are less white Survivors than there are a combination of other-raced Survivors. Are there more White Survivors than there are in any other group? Yes, but it's not THAT large of a difference. And the last white Survivor was Jeff, over TWO YEARS AGO.
-
I want to like Zarina, but her backstory is one of the longest in the game and feels like it. That's not a compliment. And when Survivors are just skins (besides their perks), the backstory is what makes them special.
There's just nothing to Zarina. I love her design (besides her hair), but as a character, she falls so flat, and she feels like she was included solely to have a Middle-Eastern character. Most things she has is done by other characters.
Immigrant? Done by Nea.
Reporter? Done by Nancy (could also be filled in by Jane easily).
Fights injustice? Done by Yui.
Stupid hairstyle? Done by every other female Survivor before her.
There's nothing she brings to the table that's unique other than being Middle-Eastern. And that's a shame, because she had the potential to be so much more.
Again, I really want to like her, but I just can't.
