You should mention them in the discussion so your nonsense can get some kind of support. You don't bother somebody by mentioning them to hope they would support your argument, if they would...
Currently how a survivor can get a hatch is unfair, not just for the killer, but also for a survivor. I have been in plenty of matches where I was the one to fix 2 generators so that if the situation would get worse somebody could get the hatch, and it ended up a survivor not having done much at all (escaping through hatch with 9k in total) gets the escape. For killers it's unfair too because as the last one alive a survivor has to do nothing more but hide and walk through the map until they find the hatch. '
''Mechanics''? Which mechanics do you exactly mean? Decisive Strike? I think saying that Decisive Strike is all okay and that killers should stop moaning about it is a argument only supported by survivors not owning much skill in their pocket. Now please, YOU come and tell me why YOU think it's balanced. Like I asked you because you've said it's earlier. The new japan map. Me as pig vs a 3-4 swf.
I crouch, and find a survivor in about a minute. I chase them half way across the thinner area of the map. Down. Trap. Hook.
4 generators are done.
There isn't much exaggeration in that. And other swfs run about the same depending on map size. Most swfs i run into are hyper efficient, try hards, or both.
I played a lvl 1 nurse for a ritual and a pro decoy/runner was acting like I had nurses calling when my only perk was thantaphobia(sp?).
I knew this because she stopped to heal herself like obvious bait, and wouldn't fully heal.Glad you're having better luck.
P.s. when i play hag, or trapper, they generally know where I'm at it seems and either disable or pop traps when I'm too far to do anything about them, and seem to know where they all are.
They try to use them as distractions.I was lucky to get the bear trap ritual done.
Try to protect the closest 3 gens to each other, so they are forced to do the ones on the other side of the map, and trap the area. Where? 2 at the shack (outter window and outter door with the pallet), in one side of the pallets, by the gens, etc... Ofc all this while getting a hook or 2. Ruin will help u to slow them down.
Once they find out the remaining gens are close to each other it's when u already manage the situation.
Loop around the shack or pallets are gone. Are they smart enough to not drop the pallet after triggering your trap? Let them turn back and down them without teleporting.
And btw, use Make Your Choice with the hag, it's a wonderful perk for her. -

Not really.
Hook swarms that just lead to people switching places, and maybe one of them sacrifices themselves while the rest make a break for it realizing the hook will be watched.

Use kindred 3. (at least more often)
It's a fantastic perk which screws the killer when camping, and if that happens, the others can do gens and do their jobs more efficiently.
If killer doesn't camp the closest survivor to u will attempt the rescue while the others will know that they gotta keep repairing the gens.
Seriously, it's an underrated perk which i barely see among solo survivors. As a solo survivor its very easy to spot a camping killer and to make that quick decision to go do gens. If you are a SWF group its not hard to communicate to your team the same information. Does Kindred speed this process up , YES does it compensate for players natural born ability to make horrible plays and simply crouch near the killer NO.
To all survivors solo or not just use your head and your eyes and make a choice.
I think the REAL issue here is to not [BAD WORD] on a hook when you are being camped. Sure it sucks for you but now it sucks for everyone else too!
Yes, but i might save someone elses time to go from one point to another. Time which can be invested on doing gens. -

Yeah, apparently Open Handed stacks with Kindred III twice. So you can have 24-meter killer reveal around hooks. That's super fun.
Wow never thought about that. But i don't like the idea of using a perk slot to support another perk anyway.
Btw, kindred 3 is 8 meters and open-handed 3 another 8 meters, so it should be 16. Quick mathsKindred III has 8 meters at base.
Open-Handed on the person using it adds an extra 8 meters.
If you can convince an additional player to run Open-Handed then you can get the full 24 meters.
8+8+8=24
8*3=24
I'll try ur build. Bought the ps4 a few days ago and i'm getting all the teachables. -

I usually run SC, empathy and kindred. The 4th slot may vary, but usually it's either resilience, iron will or small game (to prevent noed)
If i got a good stash of medkits then i replace SC for something else, like adrenaline. -

True, there are survivors like that, but in my personal experience it's been more useful than a wasted perk slot. -

Survivor is downed at door, you aren't able to carry them far enough from the door without them getting off your shoulder. You can't down them and leave them because they can crawl out causing the hatch to open before you get to it. 2 survivors are getting out either way.
Also, this is a Forum, it is meant for feedback, ideas, etc. They gave their feedback on something they didn't see as fair or balanced. All in all this post is fine. You are the one in the wrong.
In that case just accept it, killer let them open that door. And if there wasn't any hatch, one door (at least) was open already, so most probably both would had managed to escape anyway.
In other words, in this case killer would still have 2K with or without a hatch. So it's pointless to complain about it. -

Oh. Please then, enlighten everyone how to counter DS and the hatch. And none of that "slug the third one and kill the 4th." It doesnt work. Besides the fact that the killer needs a perk to see dying survivors within a small range and they need a separte perk to STOP survivors from getting infinate vision of dying survivors (how tf is that fair and balanced), survivors can counter that anyway. They can run unbroken and get picked up and then run away and self care. They can suicide to unlock the hatch. The hatch is not balanced and fine for the killer.Vietfox said:

Coming to the forums just to tell us how frustrated u are is childish. How is it childish to give your opinion on a game mechanic? If people wouldn't give their opinions and feedback on everything involved to the game the developers wouldn't be able to improve certain mechanics and it would forever be a unspoken frustration.
Because some people rather complain about stuff instead of learning how to counter it.
As for DS...Let me guess... Run enduring and unnerving prsence.. Fact Check; Neither of those are counters. Enduring takes some time off the stun RECOVERY, NOT the 4 second stun. Oh and the whole free escape thing..
But please, if you have some magical viable counter that no one else thought of, please, share it with the rest if us.
I force them to do especific gens so the remaining ones are close to each other. Once i've achieved that it's quite easy to kill the remaining survivors.
Yes, survivors can run unbreakable, but the percentage of survivors who manage to get the hatch is reduced by a lot since not everyone is running unbreakable, and that doesnt guarantee the escape anyway.
About the DS, i counter it with the map, not with perks, like taking them to a corner quickly so i can block them a bit or stay somewhere so once they get off they'll run to the way i want them to run (where there are less loops). And btw, i usually manage to down them again in less than 20 seconds, it's not really a big issue.
As i said, most of the times i have no problems on getting 4K, and if they get the hatch... Who the hell cares? I got 3K already!

As a Survivor nothing is more irritating than seeing last guy get the hatch... and he has 8k points at the end of the match. He literally did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but gets a freebie off the rest of the team’s hard work.

How is it childish to give your opinion on a game mechanic? If people wouldn't give their opinions and feedback on everything involved to the game the developers wouldn't be able to improve certain mechanics and it would forever be a unspoken frustration.
@JoannaVO
Because some people rather complain about stuff instead of learning how to counter it.I think every killer can agree that decisive is a unfair advantage that does indeed not require skill, like mentioned by OP. Maybe the OP has started countering it? (Not like you can fully counter it since hook placements are ridiculous sometimes). I think it's good to go to the forum and give your opinion on a game mechanic, whether positive or negative, to see if others agree with you too and/or possibly gain advice from others who are/were in the same situation at some point until the developers add a working solution into the game.
DS can be annoying, especially when it's used by 4 survivors (which is so unusual) but if you slug the DS user then u are already countering that DS.
If u manage to slug the last 2 then hook the DS user first so he won't be able to go through the hatch, and that's not the only counter to DS...

So you use crutch perk NOED to save your ass after you’ve already lost. Cool beans. Plus, you play the slug game with Deer Stalker. Nice.Vietfox said:

It’s just a sad fact. Developers have fixed quite a bit of the broken stuff for Survivors, but there is still broken stuff. Gen Rush, Hatch, DS, SC, SB (which the exhaustion nerf didn’t even effect it. Actually getting a buff now you can SB off hook every single time and use the I-Frames from it with impunity.)
Just because they fixed some of the broken stuff, Survivors will say that Killers should “be fine” now with whatever stuff is still broken in their favor, cause there used to be even more.
The only stuff which needs to be fixed are whiny killers' skills.
I've been maining a hag lately and only in 1 out of 20 matches last survivor managed to get the hatch.
-Rank 1
-Hag
-Ruin, Deerstalker, MYC, NOED
I run it in case all 5 gens are done, yes, but honestly i just need to use it once every 20 matches.
I run deerstalker so i can hook the last 2, what's the problem?
Tools are provided to have a succesful match, if u dont know how to use them then it's on u, but dont come over to complain about broken/unfair stuff when u already got the solution.
