Honestly, if you wanted to have fun with the event, you should have signed in the first week it dropped. By now, for most players, the snowmen have become uninteresting, so it's back to regular DBD.

I would much rather see some creativity from BHVR themselves. Like, take stories from different cultures that are horror based, like Grimm's fairytales.

Wrong place to be asking about the mobile game. Behaviour doesn't produce the mobile version, only owns the rights.

Let's not forget, this is aside from the OP's original post, that survivors work as a team. So, if someone is slugged, something can almost always be done. The slugged survivor should fill up their recovery gauge, allowing any other survivor to heal them from the dying state with a simple click of a button. I can't say I've ever been in a game and been slugged until bleeding out. I typically don't slug in the killer games I play. The ONLY time someone might remain slugged and not put on a hook would be a perk like Boil Over. If you have Boil Over equipped, you deserve to stay bleeding on the ground.

The people who think this game should be FREE are entitled. Do you think the game would get updated as often? Do you think you'd only have to pay $7 for a DLC? Cosmetics would become even more expensive, and the rift pass would likely also increase in price. No, I didn't watch the video. I don't have time for a 50-minute rant from an entitled content creator.

Yeah, I just experienced a match on Eyrie where the scratch marks were hardly visible. Not sure what BHVR did this time to screw something up, but I hope they fix it. It's hard enough learning a new killer without these problems.

My biggest tip, and I still find her difficult, would be to download a crosshair app to overlay in the middle of the screen. There is a free app on github called Crossover that does just that.

Besides their weird rankings (rarely is not 25% of the time BHVR!), what bothered me about the survey was that they didn't indicate how long it would be. I was honestly quite disappointed after I realized how much time I had wasted. Do they seriously need to ask 50+ multipart questions? Like the whole page where it asks if such and such should be on which social media platform. There were tons of boxes and because they should have their resources available everywhere I selected every single one. For the number of questions asked and the time involved there should have been some compensation it could be blood points or shards.

I just started streaming a couple of weeks ago. I don't have TTV in my name or my YouTube handle. With the way some people here say they treat streamers, I'm not sure how much I will want to reveal to my counterparts in the game that I am streaming. Judgments, too, about people trying to make money streaming. I don't know if I'll make money streaming, but it would be nice. I'm on disability in North America; I don't get much. Certainly not enough to get a newer computer or anything like that. So, I thought I would try streaming out, but I should have known better with this community.

I would love to see BHVR update the Hellraiser chapter with skins from the new Hellraiser movie. Some of those cenobites look quite freaky.

It's really sad to read how much some killers hate survivors and how some survivors hate killers. If the opposite position wasn't in the game, there would be no game to play. Simply stating something doesn't make it a fact, it's your opinion. I think neither is holding the game hostage as both have things they can do to push the match forward. Now, that's an opinion.
Facts are the definitions of holding hostage that BHVR has laid out. I can only recall a couple of instances that are actually holding the game hostage. One instance is if the killer actually has the survivor's body blocked, so they can't move anywhere, and the killer doesn't attack. The survivor in this instance has no recourse except to wait it out or DC. Another instance that would be considered taking the game hostage is when survivor(s) decide to just hide instead of completing their objectives.

They really need to be more clear in the descriptions as to what they mean. I skipped over this challenge because I thought it was a survivor that needed to emerge from a snowman and be hit within 5 seconds of popping out of the snowman. If I had understood it to mean what it supposedly does, where as the killer you can camp in a snowman and then emerge and hit someone right away, I would have done the challenge.

Personally, I would have reported it in the game and then created a support ticket, stating cheating. Leave it to the experts to determine if it's a bug or a cheat.

Another thing that I don't get and it can tick me off is when you manage to down a survivor at the exit gates, and for some reason, you aren't able to pick them up, even if they haven't quite made the "finish line".

I play the game normally 99% of the time. If I can get the last survivor on hook, I will.

For all they know I could be the worst Pinhead in the game, but nope, they dip right out of there. Once one goes, another tends to follow. It's stupid and then I don't know whether to play sweaty so the others can get to the next match asap, or to go lax and let the survivors win, but that means they spend more time in a game that isn't very fun. I always flip flop between which one they probably want.

I don't believe that Dead by Daylight is even officially supported on the Steam Deck. So you're asking for something that they aren't even working on.

I don't believe the game was developed with open communication between players in mind. So, I do view comms while SWF is a type of cheating. The kind that can't really be stopped, so the community is forced to somewhat embrace it. I don't find playing against a 3 or 4 person SWF very enjoyable. It is rare that they aren't sweaty and they are sometimes bully squads. So, I personally try to dodge SWF of 3 or more in the lobby.

I finished about a month ago. Same as AverageKateMain, I don't play Meg, Mikaela, Adam or Ghostface, yet at least, so I currently have no use for those cosmetics.

I'm no programmer, but I know there are ways to make one's programming easier to change in the future and harder to change. Guess which one BHVR chooses? The harder-to-change option because it's the most cost-effective at the time the decision is made.

Kindred is bugged. You should be able to find it under the Bugs forum section.

According to the Wiki article on Anna (Huntress) it states the character is included for free with the XBox version of the game...
"The Huntress is part of 2 DLCs:

- It is available as a free download on the XBOX and PlayStation versions.
Have you checked your killers to see if she is listed and selectable?

I like to play Pinhead as my main, sorry. After him, I also enjoy playing Doctor, Plague, Legion and Nemesis on occasion as well.

Another idea I would like to see implemented would be the removal of map offerings to maps that aren't considered well balanced. So maps like The Game, Eyrie of Crows, RPD maybe...

Except for the all red which makes scratch marks hard to see. Hell, they don't need to change the map to fix that, necessarily, just make the scratch marks a different colour, like neon green or something like that.

Okay, sorry, I'm clearly not in the right mind because I'm definitely angry. Bhvr won't give you any choice or sense of complacent. I'm just mad that you won't even know if the hacker got banned. But..... Forum rules. Why it applies to hacker. Why? It's hard to find a reasonable explanation, but there's nothing. I'm really mad you know? Knowing the game that you invested with time and money is hacker friendly. I just bought the game on nov, bought dlc and rift. It was the first multiplayer game that I enjoyed since I always play single player.
I think it's time for you to settle down. The odd game where there is a hacker just isn't worth getting so upset over. Especially when you've already gone through the steps for reporting the possible cheater.

Okay, what about when survivors decide to DC when they are dead on hook? I mean after I have hooked them and then they just DC because they would die anyways. How does that factor into things?
