Are you playing on steam? If so you can View Players after a match and see everyone that was in that match who was also playing on steam.
How?
-
Both conditions.
-
I like the idea of the spawned traps spawning as set, not closed.
-
You'd think they would be able to run a query on their database, or whatever, for those offerings during the event and then simply reverse them. It can't be that hard, can it?
-
Honestly, I don't even register the survivors as tea-bagging when they crouch in the game. It doesn't bother me. Why does it bother others so much?
-
It doesn't sound like something that needs to be changed. I would imagine that in most cases, the killer is right there when another survivor tries to unhook their friend. It's not the smartest gameplay. I agree with the previous poster that hits shouldn't go toward the hooked survivor when the killer makes a hit; they should go toward the survivor trying to make the save.

did you have proofs of what you said? it isn't normal what's happening right now, and in the doubt i prefer don't play at all 1 game than keep playing this game with the risk to have my computer ruined by it... you are free to do whatever you want, but personally i want a stable game without risks
Yes, I have 26 years of computer experience, that's my proof.

I expect every killer to be mentioned here before too long.

Can it really be called a design error when the developers have actively said they will not be changing movement, and when they tried to change movement reverted it because it went against their promise of keeping it the same?
Surely if it were unintentional they'd either have not promised to not change movement or they'd have just kept to their changes, no?
If the players were meant to be able to spin and move in a direction at the same time, it would be noted as a new feature in the patch notes, no?

Shards are quite slow to earn, but there is a small bonus you missed - you get 300 exp for your first survivor match and first killer match of the day.
Generally I'd suggest buying shard cosmetics piece by piece instead of set by set, because 21600 shards is a lot and you'll be averaging one outfit per devotion level. It's less painful when you set more reasonable goals - and besides, there's no discount on buying sets together with shards, so there's no incentive to wait.
Thanks for the suggestion of splitting the cosmetic into its pieces. I don't need the new head, just really the torso. There is still the problem of earning enough shards to buy an individual cosmetic piece. I still think they should give more shards. When I started, they were easier to earn than now.

Tell that to spinning survivors. Which is also a bug..
Ah, thanks you! I was wondering about that, was going to report someone for cheating as they were spinning around in one spot and spinning moving around, when they were spinning and moving around I couldn't get a hit.

They updated their report system to account for the anonymous mode. If you report the match ingame, they can use that to pair with your provided support ticket/evidence. Its honestly how it should have always worked in that regard, but they definitely still have a lot of work to do with the report system in general.
It surprises me they don't keep the data from the match for a week or more so that complaints can be followed up on. I shouldn't have to record every game in case there's an issue and then submit a complaint through the app and then through their reporting system online. Matches can't take up too much data, as I can play a few games and the apps data usage is only a couple hundred megs.

I agree with the rift fragments not being enough. There's an item that was released for Halloween that I want to buy, it's just a cosmetic, but I like the look of it. It is 21600 shards and 840 cells. Based on what I've seen in my games, I earn about 600XP per game. I need 4200XP to make 300 shards. So that's about seven games per 300 shards. If I divide 21600 by 300, I get 72. So, if I multiply 72 by the approximate seven games per 300, I get 504 games. That's a hell of a lot of fun... if they average 15 minutes each, it comes out to 126 hours of gaming. Let's say I started the day the event came out; that's just over 6 hours a day.

Yes. When the match starts and I see it’’s Dredge, I’m going to go into my tv settings and try to adjust my settings to what I think will be good enough to conquer the darkness. And then I’ll just pop right back into the game, unharmed im sure, sounds ideal.
So I said what I said.
Okay. Dead By Daylight supports N'Vidia Freestyle or Filters, whatever you want to call it. The devs decided to allow it; if they didn't like it, they could block it. Right now, the only reason why people have some issues getting the filters to work is because of a bug in the game. So, I don't think it's going anywhere. It shouldn't, as some people have better visual acuity than others. I respect your opinion, but keep in mind that it's an accessibility issue for some.

I hit once on a hook when the survivor is first hooked. I don't want to hear them scream, so hit.
-
I don't think the bugs in the game are going to ruin your computer, even if you have to hard reset it. It isn't really how computers work. Now, if you wanted to screw up your computer hard reset it or shut it down when it's installing updates while it's either starting up or restarting.

I'm gay and I've never thought David was attractive. Same with Dwight.
TAKE THAT BACK ABOUT DWIGHT! I'm gay and think he's attractive if you change his head to one of the better ones. I'm saving up my rift points to get that dandy outfit they released for him for Halloween; no, I'm not talking about the toilet paper getup. There is a nice outfit for him in the store that costs like 21000 shards and like 1000 cells.

It’s not pointless. In fact the screen is so dark, I literally cannot see anything. So I don’t think he needs to be completely silent as well.
From what I’ve heard, PC players just adjust the lighting so they don’t have to suffer, blindly through the darkness…but others of us, are not so fortunate.
How are others not as fortunate? You can adjust your TV's brightness, contrast, etc. You can adjust a monitors settings. The people who at one time might have been screwed were people playing on laptops, where said settings aren't so easily changed, depending on the laptop. Now we have NVidia Filters/Freestyle. There are some maps that are simply too dark for my monitor and my eyes. Not everyone has the same visual acuity, so it's likely allowed as an accessibility option.

Thanks all for the words of wisdom! The thing that bums me out is matchmaking. It's terrible. As a killer, I always get players whose skills far outpace my own. Yes, I know I need to get good, but it's hard even to practice correctly when you've got a seal team of survivors. I had a game once where, for the whole game, they were leading me into chases and standing in the way of the hook so that I couldn't hook the downed survivor. They ran me ragged; it wasn't fun but a chore. Of course, you don't want to DC as you get a time out and if you have too many DCs a ban. Matchmaking needs a severe overhaul. I don't get why it takes 2 minutes of waiting in the killer queue just to get matched with people who are way above me. Would an extra minute of waiting mean I could be against more on-par players? If so, they should do it.
