I did. I love it!
They did everything right with this remake.
The atmosphere is great. -
Unless the gate closes once 3 survivors escaped, there is no deserved hatch.
-
BBQ not showing anyone was probably the reason he camped.
Funny how survivors complain at the same time about BBQs aura reading and camping. -
Technically yes. Since there are no servers.
-
There are to many threads complaining about SWF. Let's open a new one, where I complain about the complaining.
-
Dying Light shouldn't exist.
It incentivizes camping and tunneling. The 2 things survivors hate the most. Because they genuinely ruin the fun for 1 survivor.
Also the bonus is to small to make a difference. -
Max stacks shorten the action speed by 0,4 seconds.
That's not noticeable by the human eye.
Go figure. -
Those still exist?Master said:@Tsulan said:

I can pip without even getting a single sacrifice. It's weird. I do just about everything else to get it, though. 8 hooks and lots of chasing/destroying. I almost always have fun matches as killer, even with new players.
Sounds like low rank gameplay. 8 hooks without a kill is something I can only afford on low ranks. Not on high ranks.
Or a farming game

OP has a point. I mainly played survivor during this event. Since it's easier to get coins.
Yes, it's not as bad as it used to be. But it's still not balanced. Killer should be in the power role. Swf is undoubtedly more powerful. Since the devs want to bring solos to SWF power level, I don't think that it'll ever be balanced. -

use your ears and eyes. They really help, yea i know you don't believe me but open your eyes and listen more carefully. if you get hit in first 10s of the game by billy chainsaw (or if you get hit next to a gen you're working on) that's 100% on you, not that billy is that good, you are that bad.
It's not me that gets hit that early luckily it's teammates.
The thing with Billy is he can land on top of survivors before they have a chance to make it to a pallet. Everybody knows this, Then it's instachainsaw and down.
No other killer can just fly across the map and instadown people like he can. No way he is the most balanced killer.
He can´t fly. There are tons of obstacles on the map and simply doing a step aside saves you from getting chainsawed.
Now that i think of it... We really need a flying killer! (really flying, not this nurse levitating stuff)
I suggested something that could almost fly, back in the Steam forum. This killer would be able to put down poles across the map and jump to them after charging for a while. He'd also be able to vault pallets. Sound like any killers you might've heard? :P
I proposed that Freddy should be able to vault pallets like survivors do. Since he has the same size and could use the buff.
Instead they created Freddy 2.0 who can vault... -

The rate at which you lose health now while hanging is BS. Also, my friends and I randomly die while strgglong and continuing to tap. Bug? Why make the game worse? Try to play with friends so we have a chance against OP killers and the matchmaking takes forever, if we can even get in a game. Not sure what's going on but it's getting ridiculous how killers are being buffed and over rewarded while the survivors earn less bloodpoints and are being nerfed.I totally agree!
The rate at which you lose health now, while hanging is totally BS! It´s way to slow. Used to be a lot faster.
Dying while struggling is simply lag. Played with red ping?
Yeah, the matchmaking takes forever as survivor, because no one wants to play the OP killer. Mhh what could be the reason behind this... -

I really miss that lol button.
Could you show me a video where Billy crosses a map in 5 seconds? Hell, i feel generous today! Lets double the time!
Any of the games I've had?
Are you really going to argue this? Obviously I was being generous with what I said but that in no way takes away the point that in under 10 seconds from the player getting control of their character he can be on too of a survivor and less than 10 seconds away from getting an instadown.
Not even Nurse can have someone down as early in the game as Billy can.
Or do you want to argue the 5 seconds and pretend it changes anything?
Not gonna argue, that the spawn positions could use a rework.
Other than that... -

Try playing Spider-Man and then tell me it’s a PS4 issue....NOT!The only reason that PC plays better is because they code everything for PC, and consoles are an afterthought. BTW, it is significantly easier to code for consoles than it is for PCs, as consoles have fixed hardware. PCs are a disaster to code for when it comes to video games.
It has simply something to do with the fact, that PCs are way more powerful.

Every killer should be on Billy's power level.
Means they shouldn't require addons to be played. Addons should only change the playstyle of the killer like for example Myers addons do. Giving them 3-4 different playstyles/tactics. Based on the addons.
Facing the same 2-3 killers on high ranks gets boring. Especially since we have so many.
Balancing should be made with high rank gameplay in mind. Not the rank 20 balance changes we had in the past.
There also should be different game modes like casual and hardcore. -

2 minutes are much time in this game, also in very few games I have seen the flowers harvested in only 2 minutes. A lot of games the game ended with a 4k or only one escaped with 3-4 gens unrepaired.
So what are we talking about now? The event (nectar) or repairing gens? Because you complain that you couldn't repair gens, AFTER finishing the event objective.
What? Don't recur to the straw man fallacy. The nectar slow down the game for survivors due the waste of time filling the vials, time filling the vial = time not spent repairing the gens. Is not that hard to understand.
We are talking about completing the event. Filling the vial. Which could be done in 2 minutes or less. No survival required. More points that completing the gens + escaping alive.
Survivors didn't had to repair gens or escape in order to complete their event objective.
That's why people suicided right after filling their vial. Which slowed down the gen progress of the rest of the team. Why is escaping so important to you, when it's only more points in the end, but way less that what survivors got from doing a 2 minute objective?
Halloweed Blight destroyd the normal gameplay experience in general, which was an important issue of the event.

It's important because is the survivor objetive, filling a vial is not, on the other hand the killer can complete event objetive and do his game objetive at the same time.
So the survivors could fill their vial without making an offering. All 4 survivors could harvest the same flower and would not only gain the same amount of nectar as if they would have done it alone, but would also harvest it faster. Completing their objective in 1 match.
Killers couldn't fill their vial in 1 match unless survivors made several offerings. Even then, they often had to cross half of the map to reach the objective hooks. Because of that they couldn't use their normal load out and had to use Agitation and Iron Grip.
Since survivors had no will to survive after filling their vial, they often died on the first hook. Making it impossible to get the 6 event hooks for 1 vial. -

"I remember back then I just wanted to play casually a round nurse to warm up. 4 survivors enter my lobby, all with default cosmetics, ThatsGonnaBeChill.mp4 .....
Last second switch to P3 cosmetics and 4 medkits and I was just "ooooh FFS..."
4 insta heals, 4 DS, 4 UB, 4 Adrenalin, 2 Deliverance, 2 DH. It was impossible to win this match, cuz I couldn't get any pressure on the survivors or on gens. Every down or hook got nullified with perks or addons.
Gens got pumped hardcore.
I had no special addons, but I think even with omegablink I couldn't have done much. And I'm not a bad nurse at all, I don't need addons or perks to get my 2-3k's at red ranks most of the time.
Some swf perk/item/addon combos are plain disgusting"
@Tsulan I think you would agree with me on this point right? Some stuff on survivors side is so insane that even a nurse with omegablink will have a hard time.
Nurse is strong but hard to learn. Good nurse players spend easily 200+ hours only on her to master her.
This time can be a nightmare. Because survivor mains love to bully noob nurses.
I said it before and I'll repeat it again.
If survivors spend as much time at learning how to dodge her blinks, as nurse players spend on mastering her, there wouldn't be a problem.

If you think lag switchers are a problem, then you'll gonna have a bad time.
What are you trying to say?
There are far less lag switchers than people claim.
I kinda agree with you, I get accused a lot for lagswitching while I see them skipping around. A lot of people have just lagspikes I guess and it's not intentionally lagswitching. But at least dedicated servers will eliminate the issue of relaying on killers connection and this should be better. HOPEFULLY the killer experience will be still "good" (or maybe even better? You never know how well devs will implement it) in terms of hit detection, cuz one swing into nothingness can extend the chase longer as it should.
Dedicated servers could create new problems.
Changing a p2p game to one with dedicated servers is not an easy task.
Apart from the problem that players might live far away from the servers.Quite obviously they wouldn't release them without good server coverage, the whole reason we waited so long is how difficult the task is... why so negative?
