Does anybody know when the day ends and the new starts?
11 am EST, which is equal to 5 pm CEST if I'm not mistaking.

Besides basic drivers' updates, you can try the following:
1) increase paging file size (=virtual memory)
2) for more stupid that it sounds, restart the game every few matches - dbd for whatever reason has a memory leak, and you have to reboot it to neglect this effect.
Latter one mostly helps with stuttering rather than fps, though.
-
I just play the same killer again in a normal way. Otherwise I usually switch killers every match.
-
Hag is a borderline S-tier killer, last thing she needs is a buff.

Thanks
I think I looked for "harvester tech" and "tractor tech" on yt, but completely missed the poor "combine" tech :D
-
I think I got 2,750 yesterday and the day before that, and today's reward was initially supposed to be 500 shards, as in fact it is.

@CornHub said:
Is the tractor tech where you take the right vault and loop around it counter-clockwise?
You skip the right vault and shortcut directly to the haystags instead. The "tech" is doing it without swinging, otherwise it's rather useless.
Edit - I think you meant the very same thing, I just got a bit confused by your wording and missunderstood you.

This has been an issue with the game since it release. Where some players load into the match sooner than others. I myself have had instances where I heard the terrorradius getting closer in the intro sequence, or where other survivors that spawned close to me were already able to move.
This one is slightly different and has appeared just recently, afaik.
-
0 is likely the most popular option, but it's not even there.
-
Iirc it was already communicated to dev team through one of the mods.
Btw if you get lucky enough, with proper L-shaped fence this bush creates an actual infinite loop.

I bet you are a hoot at parties... Seem like a fun person lol.
he is right, though. It's a green rank match where both the survivor whose POV we ahve and the killer are rather bad.
-
This is quite a sad thread, and it's smelling of weakness too.
-
If your game is stuttering, try both of the following:
1) increase your virtual memory (paging file), even if you got decent RAM
2) restart the game every few matches. Dbd corrupts your memory for whatever reason, and you need to reboot the game once in a while to neglect this effect.

It's a very good read. Certain aspects are not very intuitive, and even significantly more experienced players sometimes struggle understanding how some of the emblems work.

It is on for me atm.

I've read something about it couple of days ago, and it made me go to KYF lobby and test it out; traps in exist gate worked just right at that point of time.
-
upd. - I've read in another thread that this bug was already communicated to dev team
-
This is a massive issue with this realm at the moment, happenning literally every time.
All fences apparently have a 50% chance to get a bush right at the gap during map generation process, creating a significant amount of god windows that M1 killers can't mindgame.
Screenshots can be found in this thread:
@Pennosuke said:
Why did dev put a bush in every fence? It blocks the part and makes every fence become a god loop with 0 mindgame.

Moreover, why this game still can generate these terrible double windows??

I understand that dev has a lot of important jobs to do in the list (key/mori adjustment, Dead Hard's network code rework, etc.) but please put this problem into the list too, This map seriously needs to fix or rework.

I also checked with cannibal and it seems to work just right

Can those that have this issue please upload their log files for me, so I can get this looked into properly?
1. Press Windows Key + R to bring up "Run".
2. Type this in the "Run" prompt: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs
3. The file called "DeadByDaylight.log" is your log file.
^ that's how you get the log file. We'll need this so we can get further information from it.
Thanks for your help
First happenned around the day last patch was released.

I seen the video I know HOW to play her but its harder than the videos if you get me
Yeah, but that's only getting better with tons of practice; no forum advice can help with it.

RBTs are not meant to kill, but to stall. Besides, that would just make Pig extremely unfun for solo players and on big maps.
This, and also frustrating for less experienced players.

But that would actually be a "nerf" if it was a new feature to add the breaking point? Usually it only became 3, when there were only three perks left.
Yup, it caught me a bit off-guard.
-
Apparently it is a new feature/bug, but it only works this way when you have relatively few total unlearnt perks. So if you have all the perks and prestige someone, you'll still get a lot of 4 perks bloodwebs at lvl50+ up to a certain point. I didn't keep track of the exact available perks' number at the breaking point when 4 becomes 3, though. With 10 lvl3 perks left I was already getting 3 perks per bloodweb, though.
-
Ruin+undying, as well as updated thana, are actually great.
Enduring+spirit fury is rather popular but a bit of a one trick pony.
Tremors > bbq
Legion is one of the very few killers you can run ruin+pgtw due to longer match length allowing you to make enough use of both. Since undying became a thing, I'm not using ruin+pgtw anymore, though.
Bamboozle is sometimes worth consideration, particularly against more skilled players that loop M1 legion for 3 minutes through a set of basic tiles.
Surge and surveillane are both decent if you have experience playing with these perks.
Some players use blood echo, I strongly dislike it, but you can gice it a shot and see how it fits your playstyle.
Discordance is an okay perk as well, but you probably want to give it up as you get better - people who consistently co-op gens against legion are not that big of a problem to dedicate a full perk slot to them.
-
Everything except the very top skill bracket (tournament players) is on average about the same for different platforms.
-
Boredom is a far stronger opponent than any god-tier killer.
-
-
They do not overlap, the dates are just displayed in a confusing way for whatever reason.
Actual total of iridiscent shards that you get by logging in daily is precisely 10,000 (2 x 2,750 and 9 x 500).
-
That's a high quality first post, spending time on registering and verifying your e-mail was worth it.
On a serious note, from my perspective, anything that reduces my killer queue times is highly welcome, including an overall decrease in killer role popularity.

They are common enough that I find one of them in litterally every match on Yamaokas on accident.
With about 3 types of small rock tiles and a dozen spawns of such tiles on either yamaoka map, it sounds rather reasonable :)
-
@ABannedCat said:
Alot of the Yamaokas rocks are now climbable.
Its honestly no big deal, since both killer and survivor can climb. It adds some verticality to maps, which is in my opinion actually pretty ######### cool.
The only downside is that Nurse cant blink up to them, so thats braindead evasion to her blinks....
I think it is just one specific rock formation type. There are not that many variations of them, so this one spawns rather often, but it's still just one structure type.

I'm hoping this one's a bug... if not, this is some next level grinding challenge
Got 8000 Bps in the Deviousness category, but the challenge indicates 608 / 20,000

This bug is already acknowledged.
Or do you mean you got wrong amount of BP in post-game scoring tab? There's no screenshot of it attached, so it would be hard to say anything then.

@coley_219 said:
@MandyTalk is what TripleSteal said correct? I know the challenge may be bugged but I didn't see posts about the devious emblem not awarding the right amount of bloodpoints. I also saw that you guys already fixed devious points for hatchets.
You can always check this kind of stuff in Bug reporting section. There are 3 bug reports for this issue on the first page of that subforum right now, with the original one being marked as Acknowledged. https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/199503/deadly-deceit-challenge-bugged

This structure type can be found on both yamaoka maps.
-
Plague is a unique and very difficult to master strategic killer, and her strategy patterns are very different to hag, trapper or any other killer in the game.
And on top of it she's hella boring.
-
The way deviousness points are counted towards the correspondibg archive quest is bugged, if that's what you were asking about.
-
70 hrs for survivor, 40-50 for killer (I had quite a bit of survivor hours by the time I started playing killer)
-
I'be been tracking my killer stats for a while, and I haven't noticed any significant spikes in win- and killrate recently.

True but I want to master hatchet
Understandable.
Just a bunch of advice - the guide APoipleTurtle suggested is a must-watch imo, it's by far the best huntress guide out there (I've watched most of them i think). I don't like Scott, but this thing is good.
As for hatchet practice, give Umbra a shot as a source of inspiration. I can't say she's a god tier killer player overall since she only plays like two characters, but the way she uses hatchets is spectacular up to a point that I'd call perfect.
-
I'd say you are overthinking and there's nothing wrong with what you are doing.
Clever M1s are an essential part of mastering huntress, btw.
-
It will make this perk incredibly frustrating for newer players.
-
I've seen it happenning to someone else today (the floating thing).
-
Tier3 Myers does have a slightly increased (+20%) lunge.
Default lunge's duration is 0.5s, myers has 0.6s at tier 3, 0.5s at tier 2, and sad 0.2s at tier 1. Lunge speed is exactly the same for all killers as far as I know.
Upd. - to make it more comprehensive, I'm attaching dbd wiki screenshot (https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Michael_Myers)
-
Legion's great, Yui could be a good choice because her blighted outfit is far better than anything else she got so far (most of her older outfits look rather meh, in my opinion).
-
I'm still seeking at least some information regarding the topic, if possible.
-
You don't have to approach random players in an online game as actual people and treat them as such. They will never appear in your real life or have any impact on it; they are irrelevant up to a point where they could as well be greatly coded bots and it wouldn't make any difference for you. The players you are matched with are simply dynamic obstacles in your game, and every time you encounter them they are slightly different to make your gaming experience more enjoyable.
On a side note, large amount of flashlights in a match lobby is actually great for you as a killer as long as you just do not forget about them. You can control your positioning when picking someone up (with pig more than others - you relocate a dying survivor twice, when setting a trap on them and when actually picking them up; it allows you to literally move them from under the pallet to a spot outside its range). If you face a wall when picking a survivor up, you just get a few of your opponents to completely waste their time that they could spend doing gens.
