It works based on 11:00 EST timzeone cutoff, so the first day you are rewarded for starts in 1 hr 45 mins.

Introducing a deeper ranking system that would add skill brackets above r1 seems to be both easier to execute and more efficient.
-
Isn't it an already acknowledged bug?
-
I've read the whole post, and even though I agree that the general concept of charm codes distributed through twitch streams is at the very least questionable, I'm still struggling to understand how people with sight disabilities being at a disadvantage in the game itself is OK, while in case of charms distribution it suddenly becomes unacceptable.
Overall the argument you made seems overly made up and artificial, while the claim itself is rather intuitive.

I looked through patch notes and some wiki/forum stuff, and turns out I'm wrong.
I was pretty sure I read a couple of threads during blight's PTB about haunted grounds mechanics being different to other perks (enabling the perk disables all the active totems regardless of their current quantity), this leading to undying not working for the perk in question. Considering I can't find anything regarding the matter right now, it's safe to say those are phantom memories.
-
It's not a bug, it's meant to work this way.
Edit: I'm being wrong here.

How did all the MacMillan maps get a graphical update, yet no change whatsoever to the tiles of Shelter Woods? You even took the time to add breakable walls to Ironworks of Misery. This map has been problematic since its release in terms of balance. Please do something about this horrible map already!
Well, something was changed - you can't climb on the main tree's roots to use balanced landing anymore.
-
It is already an extremely decent perk on several characters, blight included.

Not in this case. I gladly remind you that DbD was initially launched in Alpha state, then went into Beta and OFFICIALLY went to stable (despite it had still many issues) but we continued supporting so they have a chance.
People played the game because they liked it. It´s not a coordinated sacrifice of a large group of people, but an independant decision of many individual consumers.

How succesful would DbD be without a community? Exactly, nothing. Dont bite the hand which feeds you might fit to a certain extend.
It is conceptually wrong from economic/behavioral POV.
"Community" is a group of customers. Customers are not the REASON a product becomes succesfull, they are its result.
-
The event is indeed really bad, but claiming that community is responsible for game's success is rather delusional.

But Triple people who play the game by Steam on PC had the same problem!
Iirc everyone who was complaining about this issue today, both on steam forums and here, was using geforce.
On a bright side, geforce staff is apparently working on a fix - https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1692572#Comment_1692572

Because that was a dumb exploit to begin with.
It was quite literally the only spot on the map BL could be used at. Right now Shelter Woods is completely flat.
-
GeForce stopped supporting DLCs. This issue is not related to the latest patch or dbd in general; the dates just randomly coincided.
-
Fashlight aim is messed up once again in this patch, indeed.
-
Jointly with numerous audio bugs (barely hearable tr, numb rushed actions w/o q&q, etc), as well as increased server latency, the game feels a bit like a public beta-test content of mediocre quality right now.
-
It got significantly worse since 4.2.0 release.

Because never in the 3 months that I’ve had my PC have I had problems with internet connection to DBD because I’m always on an Ethernet cable
The very general answer to the original question is that both devs and other players do not quite differentiate quitters by the reason they leave a match. It is rather disappointing when you get kicked due to a server glitch, but this case represents an unsignificant minority of the whole sample of abandons.
Most of the times, people leave either willingly or due to microlaggs of their internet connection (dbd kicks you out nearly immediatly when you lose connection to its servets). From the pov of other players in the trial both cases are equally annoying and harmful for their gaming experience, hence the dc penalty.

Having survivors spawning together is the best thing you can hope for as a killer.
-
Why exactly do you think this d/c is not a result of your connection issues?
-
Legion is kinda okay the way it is right now.
Frenzy recovery speed is high enough for half its bar depeletting on a M1 attack to be irrelevant. Frenzy ending on a missed attack isn't very punishing because, well, - normally you don't miss basic hits outside of some clutch last moment DH you that didn't play around for whatever reason.
Generally speaking, he's similar to demo and pig - you need to have a rather specific mindset when playing these characters, but if you know what you are doing, these killers become extremely dangerous.
