I did not play her, since I don't find her fun to play as. But I played vs. her quite a number of times in the PTB. Overall she was actually fun to face shockingly. But it felt more fair since I could hear when she was when phasing, so I could kind of tell where she was for the most part.
-
No people worked to unlock those legacies, I don't have any since I did not play at that time. But I believe if someone earns an exclusive item than it stay should exclusive forever. Those veterans deserve them as a reward for their dedication, like it was not a free item they got they actually had to put in work.
-
Make it so they can only be placed ONE time per totem, thus giving the survivors the ability to light them up 5 times. So if a killer snuffs it in one totem, the survivor who placed it there cannot put it there again. And to make high risk high reward if a survivor blesses a hex totem and if the killer snuffs it the hex ability will light up back again. So giving survivors a choice destroy a hex or the killer will get it again, in other words survivors will have to destroy the hex totem later on in the game.

Do gens leave with 3 survivors don't need much IQ for that.
You would be astonished...
And this is coming from someone who has 1000+ hours in this game

The only dev I ever watched on stream playing this game was McLean and he wasn’t very good.
That's the thing. You said "On stream". Not everyone streams lol, as a matter of fact the majority of people who play video games never streamed a day in their life. I'm pretty sure some do play the game just on their own time.

Why nerf something that is not broken?
It would be better if most niche perks got buffed instead to naturally encourage people to use non-meta perks.
Now on the other hand the circle of healing might actually become a meta perk. Which I don't think think it will released in it's current state, which is a good thing since it's OP.

Its 2021 and people are still complaining about DS after the nerfs. 👩⚖️
Some people got to get their 4 sacrifices every game XDDDDDD you know. But yep the perk is fair and balanced now, was OP but they fixed it.

What are the type of survivors people generally complain about on here? And elsewhere? The kind most killers want to avoid?
Bully squads and sweat squads. Two subgenres of SWF (not the majority of them alright, I play in a SWF too), one has the objective of making the killer, who ideally has less experience than them, have as much of a bad time as possible. The other wants back to the lobby within 5 minutes if possible.
Neither of these groups has interest in running this crap, you see any survivors like this taking much interest in healing or running dance with me or deception to mess with their scratchmarks? Or having any interest in totems which are a distraction from the only thing they're focused on (i.e. gens or yourself) It's a new option for those who prefer more interesting playstyles.
I'm not saying they don't need any tweaks, I don't really like being able to move them without the killer snuffing them for one thing, but I don't think their introduction is a bad thing. If they turn out to be insanely meta and OP feel free to reference this post back to me and I'll put haddonfield on my next 10 killer matches as penance for being a naive idiot but seriously - I don't think it'll be so bad.
Funny thing I played as a survivor earlier. And guess what we three gen'd ourselves in the swamp vs. a trapper. But we had a boon totem light across the map, and whenever we would get hit we would immediately go running towards the corner of the map and heal our self's, and quickly. This was how one my matches played out earlier, true story. Now imagine a SWF with even half a working brain, you see how this could be OP. Pretty sure circle of healing is going to be meta. Since it's an upgraded self-heal. And the thing is only one person needs to run it so everyone can have access to it. So this a S+ SWF perk without a doubt. And I'm not a killer main lol nor survivor main, this is just my two cents based on my gameplay experience during this PTB. And I actually like strong perks, but this I feel is OP.
-
Yes... 🤫
-
Overall In terms of the effects the healing perk, and the one that loses ones scratch mark are quite busted. After playing killer I noticed that they were healing quite quickly, and often. Which will massively hurt killers that rely on injuring, such as legion. Or any killer for that matter, it will be hard to apply pressure by injuring people if they have the perk and you have to go out of your way to find it at the end of the map. So that perk is somewhat OP, and definitely needs a nerf maybe make it so they can fully heal but at regular speed, making it a high risk high reward perk. And I often found that good survivor could get lost quickly with the iron will combo and losing scratch marks hex perk. This will definitely be strongly used by smart SWF, I can already see it. On solos not really.
-
Because keys are overhyped 😂
Key users usually got tunneled in high ranks. And I think I read a post on twitter that they made up less than 2% of escapes.

@Mattie_MayhemOG said:
This perk is already good as hell, after its buff its full meta.
Naw most people will still the run the full meta combo lol. But hopefully it's makes some drop the meta combo. Me personally I would rather survivors run this than the whole enchilada.

It's a challenge from last year event.

@Crowman said:
Because Legion is "unfun" to play against so the devs will never buff him.
He probably will. Since he is quite popular unlike the twins 🤢

Idm spinechill too much but on like the game where the ######### are you planning to stalk from 40m
Survivors can reveal you 32 meters away. So it's safer to stalk from afar. Anyway ghost face reveal mechanic is broken, so it's not like it matters.

I mean GF gets hard countered by it.
This is a misconception. Ghost face can stalk 40 meters away my friend.

In the one out of 20 games they were used… I saw more toolboxes then I have keys and out of my killer games I’ve had 1 game were they used a key to get hatch.. yes so broken
I could be wrong. But I think I remember I saw someone on twitter post that they made up 2% of escapes. Anyway hopefully this changes selfish survivors who like to crawl around the map, and hide with a key doing nothing.

@Rey_512 said:
Almost all of them are survivor perks. 🙂 Yay.
I'm just happy they buffed niche perks. Hopefully it can get a few to venture of the meta combos. With that hopefully they buff more niche perks in the future, regardless of what role they belong to.

They could add a requirement to the tomestone addons so he can't just kill survivors who haven't been hooked.
I don't see why myer's pink add-ons need a nerf to be honest. Since it's a pink add-on, now if it were a a purple or green add-on then yeah it would be massively OP. But I guess I could see them nerfing it, but I don't think they will for now.
-
I doubt myer's will have his iconic add-ons nerfed for now, and mainly due to the add-on being a requirement to complete an achievement. The only add-ons that I think are getting nerfed for now... Is some of wraith and blight, and pig add-ons. Because come on let's be honest anyone that played killer for a significant amount of time knows which add-ons are powerful. I don't think they will nerf any pink add-ons however. I think most of the add-ons that they want to change are probably getting a buff tho.
-
Wait a minute, did they not change it to were the game would continues even if the hatch got closed?
Because I remember a couple of patches ago they wrote that the game would still continues even if the hatch got closed.
-
It's always been, and probably always will be survivor sided. Just due to the fact it being 4 brains (supposedly) vs. one brain. I don't know about you, but I don't know to many games were the team with less players has the advantage. In most cases the team with more players has the upper hand.

Based on what? What would you have them buff? The duration to a full 90 seconds so no one could get out ever? Are you dumb?
It's niche.
-
👍️ I hope they buff most niche perks. Hopefully if perks get buffed, some folks venture of the meta combos.

Its not about winning or losing. its about knowing if my match was fair or not. If i go against a solo team and they beat me I'd be impressed and not feel cheated
Gee this is the only game were paying with ones friends is an issue 🤣
Anyway it's not cheating sorry... Playing with your friends is a feature of the game. Until they say it's cheating, then I will believe you.
-
Majority of players are solo
I don't know what teams you're facing. But when I play solo half of my teammates seem to lack common sense. Anyway it's normal to remember the loses. Because I'm pretty sure you win more of your matches than you lose.
-
Honestly not much. I play the game as I did before the update. And I rather keep it that way. Don't wanna end up in the sweat ranks.
-
Okay?
-
Don't like to look at small screens =/
I like the big screens =)
-
Can't be completive. Since the game is asymmetrical, and the game is heavily RNG dependent. Basically in all serious competitive games everyone starts at an even playing field. In this games clearly not everyone starts at a even playing field.
-
The thing about hex third seal that I don't like. Is that essentially it's countered 100% by SWF. Which is not an issue. But when this is used on solos it's devastating.
-
No look sideways. Simple counter for killers. When I play a stealthy killers such as myers I usually test the waters to see if they have spine chill, which is pretty easy to tell if they have it or not. If you come behind a wall and they're hiding before you show yourself then it's pretty obvious they have the perk. Thus next time I walk side ways to where I know they are doing a gen.
-
Honestly I think spirit is okay. And yeah I don't know why they nerfed stridor. I think they should reverse it. But iron will is fine.
-
It's bugged I think.
-
I think oni would knockout billy. Billy is pretty big, but oni is on another level. Plus oni knows martial arts.

This was a killer only chapter so there are more killers playing than usual. This is typical for chapters and causes increases to killer queue times. It will even out in a couple weeks.
It's a factor I believe. But I also think the higher people's MMR is, the longer it's going take them to find a match.
-
My opinion is that not everyone is going to win all their games all the time. =/
You win and lose some, it's not a big deal. No one wins 100% all the time.

So 'sweaty' means playing with every advantage. I'm not competitive but if I was... i would for sure try to play with every advantage. So sweaty really means... trying hard to win... which I would assume many people do.
Yep playing like you were getting paid 1 million dollar per game 🤣. Taking the game too seriously. But like I said if people enjoy playing sweaty then that's cool, that is their style. MY style is playing relaxed, which is why my MMR is a medium level. Because I actually don't escape in lot games or get 4 sacrifices, because my definition of fun is not having to escape each game or getting 4 sacrifices. Because based on my observation that is what a lot of sweaty players enjoy.

Anyone changed their name on PS yet?
If yes, did anything in DBD or somewhere else break for you? Or did everything went smooth?
Keep hearing that changing your ID can cause alot of problems.
That is why I'm glad I'm a pc person now :)
We don't have to pay a dime to play online :)
Gone are the days of the ps3 having free online
And we get to change our name whenever we feel like it :)
-
Good enough to handle most teams.
-
Would be OP =\
-
MMR makes it so matches takes longer to find depending on your skill, higher MMR mean it's harder to find matches. And a lot of people are testing pinhead.
-
Because it would be OP
-
Clown
Easy win for him, trickster wouldn't even stand a chance.
-
As other people have said we don't know how they will work. Plus they might be another batch of niche/useless perks.
-
I know people want bots. While do they sound like a good idea. People got to think about it. If they stay at the same level bots are in the tutorial. Then you do realize they just would throw pallets instantly. A killer could simply just follow the bot so they could waste the pallets instantly. In other words in the lower experience categories player base yeah, but anything above low experience players then they could be bad.
-
lol pinhead is not that hard. Sure he requires some practice, but he is quite easy to learn.
-
@Crowman said:
So 1 bad game means the system doesn't work? You do know your other killer mmrs are being factored to prevent you from just getting matched against completely new people.
They wrote that each killer has their own MMR tho.
So in theory he should have gotten placed with low mmr players.
