  • Hmm. Thanks for the info mate! I'll get to reworkin' the Obsession perk a little. (Or at least change a few mechanics.)

@Toxicity23 perks that (for survivor) provide stronger bonuses if you are the obsession, i.e. DS if you are obsession you can hit it after about 3s but as non obsession you have to fill the bar ~30% first, your obsession perk seems to damn being the obsession.

Is that a good, or bad thing? I dunno what you're implying here.

  • Huh. i'm honestly surprised all these perks are balanced. Normally I fail on balancing.

  • I like playing as Myers, I also main Feng.

  • "Survive with Friends" would like to have a word with you about "Hex: Ruin". I do not like this idea at all... Why would you even want this to happen??? because the items had the 5-tier upgrades? I see no reason why we need to apply this to the perks.

Should we all add back the "Close the hatch" mechanic? Or should we leave it out? I feel as though we NEED it tbh.

I don't really know why this wasn't implemented. It gave a real use for keys, and left behind. They could've just made the hatch available from the start instead of doing 2 gens first to make more generators available for the survivor to do.

If the hatch was available from the start, then... why? Left behind would be even MORE less useful than it is, and promotes the killer camping the hatch even if there aren't more than 2 gens completed. If the option to close the hatch is available, it would make keys more useful, and Left Behind actually usable. Not much, but it would even out the playing field in the end-game... Besides, when it comes to the hatch showdown, the survivor almost ALWAYS wins. This would take away that possibility if killers can close the hatch, people with "Left Behind" could quickly finish a generator, and at the same time: force the killer to go BACK to the hatch and close it again. Frankly I dunno why they removed it, for those few moments, the game was even, and the most useless perk was made useful for something!

Jesus Christ dude, calm down a bit. I'm not tying in TF2, just making a observation. Do not mistake me making observations about how similar The Legion and Ronin are in regards to Feral Frenzy and Sword Core, respectively.

Really though, this is just a idea, and I've played enough rounds as the Legion to give myself some justifications to ask for this, as I call it, Quality of Life. I do agree that he is suffering from his own mechanics, but as it is his add-ons (particularly the pin ones) need a slight tweak or rework. Buffing duration would not turn him op as he'd still just suffer from literally everything else.

I take it you did not fully read/comprehend what I was asking for. I did say if not at least as a part of his BASE KIT, then the idea would simply replace his Pin Add-Ons for the new effect that was mentioned.

I didn't say Ronin and Legion were similar, Nonetheless though, buffin' duration would be pointless to be honest. You'd have all the speed in the world, yet you'd stop after the second hit. Frankly, I was calm, I'm just surprised that someone was willing to compare a FPS Shooter to a Asymmetrical Survival Horror. Seriously, they're not the same, or really similar in any way. Yes, Ronin is fast, and so is any other character in other games. It's a coincidence. Besides, honestly: Spirit and Ronin have similar abilities, both have swords, both of them are like ghosts for a set duration. I don't see the resemblance between Legion and Ronin tbh.

In summary: Buffing his duration is pointless since we already have add-ons that increase it. Our main problem right now is not his Chase potential, but his Downing Potential, true, he can chase people pretty well, but lacks potential for downing people. Right now, his issue is his "Deep wound" effect, that might need to be Tweaked, to make it a nuisance instead of a small distraction. His add-ons are fine for now, it's his downing potential we need to focus on.

  • Just do Coop actions in general, not that complex.

  • As long as I don't face Freddy's or Gud Docktahs, I'm good.

  • Do NOT tie in "Titanfall" with "Dead By Daylight". Seriously, don't do this. Besides, why do you think his Feral Frenzy Duration needs a buff? It's pointless if you still can't down them as you use it. Deep Wounds is the main problem for his ability, he lacks the ability to properly down people, but a wonderful ability chasing them down, let's not turn legion into a OP motherf#cker by buffing his duration. I appreciate you tried to help, but tbh, you didn't really think what was ACTUALLY BAD about Legion.

  • Only time I recall being moried is when a Hag ran a "Devour Hope" and I DID notice in time, although unfortunately, I got caught then dieded.

There is a streamer called ZubatLEL and I highly recommend you to watch him. You will understand what I meant by potential.

I'm just goin' off by Rank 1 standards. Just because a killer can kill people from range, doesn't really mean it's the new meta. Frankly, with Myers, he just tosses "Long-ass Chases" and "Teabagging survivors after hitting Myers with pallet or after they vault." right out the window. Besides, which would you rather go for: "Requirement for consistency of shots and careful positioning to punish survivors looping during chase, while also look in lockers constantly just to reload" or "Grab people off gens and don't initiate a chase at all, forcing survivors to spend more time rescuing and less time doing gens."

Yes, I won't deny it: ZubatLEL DOES handle huntress pretty well, and proves she has loads of potential in the right hands. But I'd rather catch the survivor the minute I see them instead of having to deal with a, possible, toxic player. In summary: Myers and Huntress are in good "Shape", but for now, Myers is better than Huntress, due to Myers' ability to choose his approach, "Great Chase Potential" and "Extraordinary Stealth Potential" and don't forget, Myers can pull out Insta-kills right outta his arse. But Huntress is moderately better than Myers in some ways, frankly, I dunno specifically what Huntress is good at, but all I know is that people can stop loops consistently with her.

  • Slightly buffed "Sixth Sense" so that you now have 2/3/4% haste instead of 1/2/3%. I am still open to balancing changes.

No wonder that ass killer is in the current top 3. He have basically no terror radius with monitor and abuse even at tier 2. basically he's a better wraith who don't even need to decloak and have instadowns when he needs io. Give him normal terror radius at tier 2 since his as trong as a trapper in that form, so M&A wouldn't make him bull$hit to play agains.

As strong as trapper? Is trapper supposed to be a strong killer?

Myers is fine, just learn how to play as and against him.

Also he is not in the top 3 by a long shot. Nurse, spirit, billy, huntress and hag heavily mogs him to oblivion.

    Huntress is = to myers.
Nurse, Spirit, Hag, Billy, Huntress/Myers is my way of saying it.

    Definitely not true.

You can loop Myers just like any other killer, except for small bonus vault speed that he gains when he reaches evil within 3, there is not much difference between him and the rest of the m1 crew. He is just superior to all of other m1 killers.

Huntress has much more potential than Myers and in the right hands she is more deadly.

I just had a game with her at base she's pretty solid. I take back all the times I called her weak

Well yeah, She's pretty strong, although not the strongest killer, definitely not better than Myers tbh.

  • @Delfador said:

Somehow I doubt that Huntress is better than Myers.

  • Tbh, Jake would do better cuz of "Calm Spirit", but I'm not one to judge. Good art btw!

  • Added Map information, the full chapter is here!

  • Looks at my username Hey! I am NOT beyond repair!

  • Added Killer information. 2/3 of the chapter is now here

  • Myers and Feng. Sometimes I swap to Doctor or David for when i need them MONEYZ

  • Huh. Shouldn't have edited the post to "Bark". I should've said this is yet another clickbait.

  • Someone please tell me this is a dream. I cannot unsee this post

  • Don't care much if they teabag in exit gates. Just means free bloodpoints 4 me.

  • Welp. This post went in a different direction

Camping is an allowed strategy according to the developers. As much as it's boring to do, sometimes it helps the Killer win.

This is just reason enough to end the argument. If it's not against the rules, deal with it. As good old bricky says, killers don't have to follow any made up code of honor. Either because the context of the game seems to make it pay off or you just freaking want to, Killers shouldn't excuse themselves for this. Same us it's pointless asking survivors why they do one gen after the other.

Ffs, it's a two sided multiplayer game. One side is not "responsible" for the other's "fun". It's up to oneself.

i said WHY do you camp not STOP camping its against the rules

There are no rules genius. Killer's do not have to abide by the Non-existent "Survivor Rule-book". IF you got hooked, you got hooked. Learn from your mistakes so you don't get hooked next time.

i literally said i DID NOT SAY CAMPING WAS AGAINST THE RULES i clearly stated that i was asking WHY in the post genuis

Why dafuq did you put in "its against the rules" if you DIDN'T MEAN IT?!

  • Let's wait and see how he turns out, people still need to find what he's strong at, and his weaknesses. He's prone to change (Obviously) before he goes public, the point of the Public "TEST" build, is for people to TEST the new content before it's released to the public.

Wait a minute, I just realized something. Why are you only comparing Freddy to Wraith and Leatherface? Is it because someone brought them up, now were not bothering with comparing Freddy to other killers?

Because Wraith and Cannibal are worse if you just compare the base powers and what they contribute to the game. I'm not saying Freddy is the best killer I'm just saying he's better than what everyone thinks.

... Huh. Nonetheless he still needs a buff. Maybe a Rework of his powers. Just because he's better than 2 killers does not mean freddy suddenly doesn't need a buff.

    Laughed my ass off.

I’m taking into account the base power and not adding perks and add ons. If you ran with just the base power you would do much better with Freddy than you would leatherface and wraith. I’m laughing my ass off that you don’t know that.

You gotta be kidding me, you did NOT just said that.

Yeah I did. It’s actually quite easy to understand: Freddy’s base power is better than the wraith or cannibals base power. You obviously haven’t played much of the game if you’re laughing at that. Id like to see you contribute something to the discussion next time you post please.

Then explain to me how Freddy's power is better than the Wraith and Cannibal's Powers. The Cannibal can insta-down people (even though the Hillbilly does it better, but nonetheless, punishes people who stay in groups) And the Wraith's power had recently been Buffed, earning him a free hit if he uses his power JUUUUST right. Infact you can use both Bubba's Chainsaw and Wailing Bell without add-ons and STILL use it effectively. Yet you can't really do much with Dream Demon on it's own... At least... Not against High Ranks. This guy does wonderful against newbies, but not against pros. It's likely the video you showed us was against people who didn't know what the pallet was. Care to explain mate? If you wanted us to believe he doesn't need a buff, at LEAST do it against people who know how the bleedin' game works!

  • DAMN IT. I was gonna use that exact killer with that exact name for my own Fan-made Dlc... Oh well. I had an idea for the Cure at least. Maybe the Cure is a sort of Station, A "Cure Station". It takes a minute (more or less) to reduce the condition of the infection by one state, you'd be permanently in Plague 1 or 2. Perhaps if they fail a skill check, maybe there is a chance the station will "Break", making it unusable.. Just putting in my ideas, nonetheless, I like dis.

I don't think any of you took "Left Behind" into account either. This perk is just... TERRIBLE. True, it pays off if you do the generators... although the existence of the hatch makes it pointless completely, seriously, why would you work on generators if you can instantly escape via hatch? If killer is camping Hatch (Which doesn't happen often) then it MIGHT be useful. This perk needs a complete wash.

i agree but it needs minor changes because if the killer knows you are doing gens then they are not going to camp it and try to find you and you have all the time in the world to do gens

…. What? What does that mean? It still needs a rework due to how situational this is. True, you work faster if there are more generators that need to be done... And if the killer doesn't camp the hatch, then the perk is pointless, since the hatch is left unguarded. if he is, it's potentially handy, but 99% the time, the survivor escapes the hatch regardless of the killer being there or not. The point of this perk is still useless due to the existence of hatch. If they want it to be useful, I would like the killer to close the hatch, and give this perk a reason to exist. Otherwise, it's just there to fill that one slot, or if there is a god killer and kills everyone without a single gen being done... That's still ridiculously situational due to genrush.

  • 2, I've seen cases where the killer doesn't kill anyone, and where they kill everyone, so it takes a tad bit of skill. The hardest part is finding which killer suits you best.

  • Dull totems are poorly hidden, it should be in your moral code to DO THE (Censored) TOTEMS IF YOU DON'T WANNA BE KILLED INSTANTLY!!

  • Tbh, I just camp because I get free 4 man kills! Free bloodpoints 4 me! Seriously, this is why I like camping when there is a Hyper-Altruistic Hero in the game, It gets annoying, but boy does it feel good when you hook him! Yet you all complain about being re-hooked. You're all not taking the hint are you? Something even MORE embarrassing: I've been camping in the higher ranks... and STILL get those 4-man kills!

  • I think i just got click baited. Not very smart, are you?

  • @CashelP14 said:
Pressured to me seems a bit strong. It completely ruins a doctor with Distressing build and also makes stake out pointless.

Lookout is way to strong. You would never lose in a pallet loop scenario if you can see the killers aura for 18 seconds, even the cooldown doesn't help this. The aura time would need to be massively decreased.

Escape Artist seems like a rework of Wake Up. I don't see the point of Wake Up when this perk is in the game. The hatch range would need decreased though to maybe 12/24/36 to be fair to the killer or have it be an obsession perk where once you see it, you both see it since the killer has no perk at the minute to find the hatch. This perk could work with some slight changes.

Avenge I don't see much need to run. No one really uses dying light anyway. It would maybe work for Remember Me but not for other obsession perks like Save The Best For Last, Play With Your Food or Rancor.

I'm giving this from the perspective of someone who is a survivor main at rank 1. Hope this feedback helped, tried to see it from a Killer's perspective as well

You really did help. Thanks for your feedback!

  • Oh my god, were doing this now? The Hag had JUST been as worse as freddy and we're already having f###ing complaints about her being too good. For the love of god people, Learn to face them! Don't just say that "Killer needs a nerf" because of some new mechanic they added into the killer.

Seriously, until the mechanics of the game is changed, Hag will not need a nerf at all.

  • I don't think any of you took "Left Behind" into account either. This perk is just... TERRIBLE. • .... It's... Perfect. Your Monolith idea is actually nice to think of if it WERE in the game. Hope to god the Devs see this!

  • I only watch this just to hear the "Doctah's" laugh.... Okay I lied, I watched this 10 times already.

  • Why the #### did they NOT add in Nancy? Why didn't they even add the Nancy from the freaking REMAKE?!
