They did a while back and probably because of 2 reasons
1. Timer was 60 for both
2. Both require hooking
And the similarities end there, lol

Is Bill the exception? I've seen posts on the forums calling Unbreakable 'uncounterable'. A lot of hate for Borrowed Time too. Left Behind isn't exactly fun either, a perk that promotes waiting for everyone else to die just to see the hatch aura.
I mean, you could just do normal stuff until the hatch appears, you're probably more beneficial running around before it appears anyways than just sitting still, then again, it is RNG, so no one would know what would be better

I think the OP meant to say "Vampire' and not dracula. Dracula is too mainstreamed to the point he looks goofy in some films. Nobody takes him seriously anymore. Now a vampiric killer for DBD would be awesome. Maybe a cult member or something that believes in sucking/harvesting blood in the middle ages or smth.
But I do agree with the Trickster. He's so much more than just a K-pop singer and a pretty boy. He's an ACTUAL killer you could meet on the streets. They did his lore well too. I don't get why he's hated for being a Korean star. If it was just normal American pop star, he'd receive less hate I bet.
Yes, cause people are hating on a korean for being in dbd, not the fact that it's a pop star...no, that's can't be it at all

We had 3 licensed killers in year 5 (Nemesis, Pinhead and Sadako) and only one original (Artist). So i think we have enough licensed content for while.
But anniversary chapters are important and they are coming with big names (Ghostface, Pyramid Head and Nemesis). First 2 years DbD was not that big, so last 3 years we had good names for anniversary. So year 6 should bring another big name too.
And here we go, Dracula is really good choice for anniversary. Because:
- He is old school horror icon, big name. People will hype for him (include me).
- Free license, so this mean BHVR can create their own Dracula. This mean they can be creative. Original killers usually have more fun powers except last 2 killers (Artist and Trashster). But we also have (Oni, Blight, Plague, Spirit etc.) unique and fun original killers. So Dracula can be at good side.
- We can get survivor from Medieval Age, a knight maybe. And he would be so awesome and unique.
- Dracula's Castle would be good choice for map.
- We already saw Dracula (or random vampire) on one of the tomes. So we know BHVR is interested with vampire (Dracula) killer.
What do you think? Would you excited for Mr. Dracula.
Hey...i like artist's power

Weird name, but I can get behind that, lol

You want to approach from the sidelines, being unpredictable is Sadako's middle name. You also want to Hit N Run and tunnel at the same time, as Sadako pretty much has a guaranteed win if she has a 3-Gen and atleast 1 Survivor dead
What's her full name then? Lol

Why do you do it? Why do you add skins for licensed characters that aren't even in the movie? Look at what you did to ghostface, he has literal ice outfit and am I expected to get excited when I see him? It's dumb. Nemesis with his blighted outfit, why? You ruined his look from RE3. He should've gotten a skin from the older games but not a blighted one. I just really hope Michael Myers doesn't get a blighted skin because I thought dbd was a game where we have these horror icons but you're changing their appearance? Oh I'm going against sadako? Hell yeah, oh wait, what is that new skin she has? THAT'S NOT EVEN SADAKO. All I hope is for people to not buy these outfits because they completely change the characters look and makes a licensed character less worthy. I mean, would you have bought nemesis if his blighted skin was his default?
But...the blighted skin isn't what he looks like, the devs are aloud to change how they look at certain killers, and if none of them tickle your fancy, then just wear default

If this change were to go through I would be fine with survivors who have endurance being highlighted in white (maybe the highlight takes a couple of seconds to fade so it's not immediately obvious)
That wouldn't be too terrible I guess

I burned 4 wards in a row one time because my friends were threatening to send us to RPD. On the fifth match I didn't play a ward, but they didn't play a map offering. On the sixth match they thought I had forgotten, and tried to play RPD, but I blocked it with a ward. lmao
YES, that's awesome, lol

@Chadku said:
It´s been over a year or so now since the Blight got added alongside the blueprints, new ward and Felix.
I´ve almost never used it since a map offering itself could give me a map of my choice or a 50/50 chance if someone else uses a map offering.
Is the rarity/price of the ward alright for it´s intended use or should it be a brown?
I mean, I use it when I feel like my friends want to send me to RPD, so helpful in that sense, lol

Agree but disagree. Survivors should be punishable for getting hooked in the basement. And as we know, camping can be done by all killers - Bubba is just best at it.
If it were up to me, killer powers disabled within 12m of all hooks except basement hooks and during end game. (Cue killer main freak out)
That's not even"killer main freak out" that's just bad game design

... just play clown. He's still a beast and with VHS porn he's definitely OP! As you can see from the picture, I didn't even have perks or a knife! And I don't play a lot of killer these days either.
That said, keep smiling and have a nice day :)
Edit:
It was a massacre, so I don't want to go into detail. They were from the same country and switched at the last second so I'm guessing they were a SWF. Ofc they were not good. And to be fair, they brought me the coal tower as a gift. And we all know this map is clown sided. I had an early down on that Meg who didn't understand what VHS porn actually does. I hooked her into my perfect 4 gen constellation and patrolled my gens. Her matesdecided to finish 3 gens instead of unhooking her before stage 2.
I mean these guys wasted a lot of time on clicky clicky me and flashlight saves which didn't work. Even the hook sabotage didn't help them. If they only did the last 2 gens, they could have easily escaped with at least 2 mates.
...what does that add on do? Lol

At least that survivor won't be able to bodyblock the killer for as long, you get a lot of wiggle room with 12 seconds. Not so much 6
I don't think current BT is super oppressive for killer except in endgame scenarios really. Same with current DS
Ik, but the killer is still probably going to be playing like it's normal BT, just incase, which just boost basekit BT's power
-
@Veinslay said:
Any killer that uses any slowdown perks is a skilless baby that needs to git gud
Rriiighhhttt, you keep thinking that
-
@Brokenbones said:
My best guess would be
Basekit version would be something like: 'Upon being unhooked, survivors gain the endurance status effect for 6 seconds'
Then Borrowed Time would be changed to 'Any survivor you unhook has their unhook endurance timer increased by 4/5/6 seconds' capping out at the 12 seconds it sits at right now
This is what I think is the most likely way BHVR will implement this
I mean, that 6 seconds borrowed is gonna technically be as strong as normal BT, because it will always have the threat of normal BT, i mean, what killer will swing his weapon at 7 seconds just to find out that it's normal BT instead of the basekit

You’re kidding right? 50% faster reloading, plus the good ol’ BBQ + Iron Maiden combo. Yes, it does help the, very much. Meanwhile Huntress grabs one hatchet and reloads up to eight somehow.
I'm sorry, I'm not following, is iron maiden 50% faster? And it's not like the survivors know that the killer has BBQ half the time, and go in a locker to avoid it anyways

The same would be true of every other killer. I thought the devs didn’t want perks to have unique interactions with certain killer powers? Guess they just didn’t like Small Game.
Well idk what the devs said, I'm just saying that's probably the reasoning behind why they probably reload faster with this perk, it's not like it helps Huntress and Trickster in the long run anyways
-
@danielmaster87 said:
Many people think that it's a necessity that hooks be destroyed permanently after a survivor gets sacrificed on it. I am not one of them. I think it's dumb that it happens, and that there's no good reason for it to be a thing.
First of all, the devs have actually created mechanics contrary to this other mechanic of theirs. Old Hangman's Trick brought the hooks back. But more importantly basement hooks can never be destroyed. The one thing I've seen in favor of hooks being destroyed forever is "It stops killers from just camping one area!" I wonder what their thoughts are about basement hooks then, since they can't be destroyed and are the best hooks for camping in the game. I don't see masses of people saying "get rid of basement!" but I do see a ton of people downplaying the negative affects of hooks being destroyed permanently.
If that's the case, that hooks being destroyed is to stop camping, then why do killers still do it after one or a few have been broken? And why are killers that didn't camp punished later in the game, albeit mostly when they've already won, by no nearby hooks being available and the survivor struggling out? Why can it be so difficult to hook someone that you've spent the time and effort to down?
I really think hooks shouldn't disappear forever when someone gets sacrificed. There's no need for it. All it does is frustrate the killer and create unnecessary resource management.
Stay away from the basement and you avoid everyone screaming "get rid of basement"
-

The only loud locker issue I have is Iron Maiden spamming by survivors. Don’t get why that perk doesn’t have some kind of a cool down. Or why it enables Huntress and Trickster to reload faster.
Because...it takes up a perk slot? Might as well make it do something if no one ever enters a locker

I would change tenacity so that it would let you pick yourself up once per trial, similar to unbreakable. One of my favorite perks conceptually, but just so eclipsed by unbreakable because it can't actually get you off of the ground.
Then...there would be absolutely no need for unbreakable, tenacity does more things than unbreakable, give tenacity the one thing unbreakable had over it and BAM, unbreakable now a F tier perk

The Killer and Survivor role both have a skill ceiling to them, however there are RNG factors that tilt specific matches in the favour of each side which can make it feel really unfair at times
Map offerings, big example. If the killer burns a map that favours them - not only do they know what map they are going to but they can prepare in advance. Be that picking a specific killer, loudout etc. Obviously the same applies to survivors in every way.
Map RNG itself is another factor. I've seen some tile layouts on backwater swamp maps that heavily favoured survivors with many pallets in the middle and layouts that favoured killers with massive deadzones in the middle.
I recently played a game on RCPD where, no word of a lie:
There was three generators in a straight line near the S.T.A.R.S office. Two in the hallways outside of the office and one in the showers.
Wait.... people actually prepare if they know what map they're going to? I just say "haven't been to the eyrie if crows in a while...." No matter what side i play, lol
-
@AnnaEliza365 said:
If a killer is camping me, just do the GENERATORS. Don't come save me, don't try and swap, just do the gens. Get a 3 man escape. I don't understand why that is SO HARD FOR SOME PEOPLE. Why are you obsessed with the altruism? Camping literally *does not work* if you do the generators instead.

With that logic, anyone can DC before game starts, it's allowed after all.
Annoying, but allowed yes
-
@Breadn said:
I think a majority of the playerbase can agree the map is ass. As survivor, most pallets are either extremely unsafe or god pallets, and there are no loopable windows. As killer, the map is way too big and convoluted to pressure well, mobility killers are impossible to play on it, and boons are basically a free win to the survivor team. And as both sides, the map is dreadfully optimized and impossible to navigate.
I understand the concept of licenses being hard to acquire and the sunk cost fallacy, but it would only do the game good if the map was permanently disabled. I would rather be sent to gideon five times in a row than this god-awful map, and I hope you all agree.
Someone somewhere will be sad if RPD goes

It's not but that argument "I level my character up during lobby time" never convinced me.
That's something most people should do BEFORE they even queue up. Killer can't even do it anymore due to being locked into character.

I'm surprised you would play this game because of The Doctor. Also Sadako? Isn't he just as bad as the flashlight clicky-clicky, most times the clicky-clicky doesn't even hit me in the face when I play killer and it's very rare when I see it. How about the flashlight blind, I could see that causing seizures.
Well first off, i main doc so.... yeah, second off I'm on PlayStation so I don't have sadako available yet, and thirdly... what can I say? I run lightborn, lol

People say that clicky-clicky is bad for those who are photosensitive, however would people with photosensitivity actually play this game. Video games are bad for people with photosensitivity in general. This game is actually horrible for people with photosensitivity because of flashlight blinds, heck even Sadako is basically a epileptic seizure waiting to happen It seems like playing this game with photosensitivity would be about the same as placing your hand in a blender and expecting to not get hurt.
Not to mention The Doctor. I find it really hard to believe people are having seizures off of clicky-clicky and not going against The Doctor.
As someone who has had a seizure in the past and is still prone to it, a video game like this is fine, but when you look at something as fast moving as a flashlight click, from what I understand the brain just can't register it and causes a seizure, but idk the full tech behind it, all I know was to avoid flashing lights, and getting hit in the face, and none of the games I played were "flashing" constant movement of stuff isn't considered "flashing"
-
@Munqaxus said:
Clicky-clicky is the survivors version of face-camping and tunneling-off-hook-till-dead.
But face camping and tunneling off of hook doesn't have a chance to give the person a seizure on the other side
