Playing for hooks is more fun and lowers your MMR so you're also playing with people that play for fun.
Personally I see it as an absolute win.
mmr doesn't exist, they want you to believe so... i already did an experiment that confirm that theory more than once...
back to the main topic when you play for fun it's always an almost granted defeat (you can do rapid chases and do some hooks, but this isn't sufficient itself to keep the pace of the genspeed) and survivors most of the times are entitled to mock you (tbags and flashlight clicks) until the timer of the egc will end despite you played fair (and they keep harassing in the endchat too). this imo is what stops certain players to play "fair" and start recurring to the unpleasant tactics that survivors despise (without mentioning the behavior that certain people have in game that trigger killers, like bodyblocking with bt when he's trying to chase the unhooker or finish a gen under your nose).

There are only a few killers with add-ons that can prove a survivor has wallhacks. Like clown with the yellow gas aura add-on and Myers with the scratched mirror. It's very difficult to prove wallhacks for killer.
At least survivor has OoO that can be used as proof.
certain perks can help too (bbq and i'm all ears for example)

I see hackers going into streams and promoting their "bussiness".
We are the point when it is becoming a normal thing because they aren't taking it seriously enough imo. They are doing something sure but that is not enough at all.
I feel sorry for streamers especially, not just us who don't stream. Because some of them have hacks to snipe them day and night and they keep harrassing them.
the fact that devs gave dbd free on epic store did only this situation more grim (and this is why i disabled the crossplay... i've already enough of the cheaters present on steam, didn't need more of them)

A couple things about this:
- Sometimes it is so subtle it is barely noticable until you pay attention to it and by that point the match is basically over.
- Recording a video takes time. Most of us don't have video recording software open all the time.
- BHVR needs to make it easier to report to them.

I don't see why the game itself can't track the speed players are moving at (which is data that already exists), cross-reference their perks/status effects if it exceeds the maximum expected speed, and toss up a red flag if something doesn't line up for a protracted period of time. Or one-time inspect whether a perk effect in play is actually coming from any player's perk (ie, 100% Up The Ante and Vigil when nobody in the match has either of these perks, or Blood Pact's speed boost when nobody has Blood Pact.)
hmmm, probably because there are possible bugs that affect the speed of the killer/survivor (for instance, a friend of mine had his deathslinger moving A LOT MORE faster after a shot in the swamp and i saw a streamer, before the trapper got changed, always in the swamp being immobilized by one of his traps, he tried to free himself with a lunge. he "escaped" from that bug, but his MS for some reason was fast like a cloacked wraith for the rest of trial)

I had one this weekend. Four days for their Steam ban.
Make sure to read the instructions when reporting. I think BHVR ties the reports to an ID in the game. Not your Steam ID. Then sees who you reported in the game.
i gave them all the informations needed, from my id to the id's cheater, i don't think that's about lack of informations sadly...

If anyone had any doubts, it shows perfectly which side the devs take in this "us vs them" argument. NOED has been the most unfair and hated perk in the game, turning occasional 0k into 2k, 1k into 3k, and 2k into 4k with no extra effort required. CoH wasn't that strong in the first place, if we don't touch the problematic subject of SWF, and they nerf it after a couple of months.
I guess "just to the bones" argument indeed works in only one direction, it's a title of some sort.
Oh please, noed is extremely easy to counter if you have a team with some brain... Don't forget that this perk is a hex, therefore it should be risky but powerful... If you have problems with noed just took perks that aid you to find totems, they are here to help you... But I was almost forgetting that most survivors play with the usual meta build and they don't want to "waste" a perk for countering a possible NOED...

If you catch a player speed hacking, record a video and report.
I already did it in the past and guess what happened... Nothing (I'm still waiting their response for the last report about a cheater 3 months ago)

The amount of killers using these "subtle" speedhacks for extra 2-3 % move speed (like running with Bloodlust 3 without actual Bloodlust) and wallhacks (they always know where you are without aura-reading perks) is enormous, at least on EU servers. It's funny that you can't even properly report those, because you can't prove it was an actual wallhack and not just their "intuition", even if you record it.
I wonder if they could implement a good anticheat that will verify the data of all the people in the match then compared those informations with the ones that they have... If something is out of place then the game won't even start... (if I'm not mistaken company of heroes had something similar)

Seriously? With all the second chance perks survivors crutch on, including CoH, gen speeds, and the fact that hex builds itself are super bad purely cause of the CoH meta; why does everyone feel like noed is horrible?
Honestly I feel like this is the most extreme case of double standards. While I understand the whole "camp and noed" issue but with how bad sbmm is, noed helps the killer put pressure in the end game and not just give survivors free escapes if/when gens are done. The game isnt over until you escape.
As i pointed out earlier, with all the second chance perks survivor gets, why do we hate the only second chance killer perk?
This thread is a disccusion on why we should hate noed. Not an us vs them. While i understand the hate about whataboutism, pls keep your points about noed, but if you need to use other perks as an example, its understandable. And pls keep it civil. I generally wanna hear reasons why noed is bad.
Also pls dont say "it rewards bad gameplay" because we can all think of several perks that can say the same thing but the community doesn't hate them nearly as much, and that would just start promoting whataboutism.
Personally I love using and go against noed cause it punish survivors for rushing their primary goal. In the actual state of the game this is needed (band aid fix) due to the repairing speed that generators have... There should be more perks like this since survivors have more perks to counter the strategies that a killer can do (slug, tunnel, camp, etc etc)

I have a feeling they maybe increased his terror radius because of some combos involving Monitor and Abuse but that’s just a guess. 🤷♂️ Personally I think he’s a weaker Huntress at this point but that’s just me. I don’t like playing him too much right now though because his turning rate while aiming is super slow. I think he’s the only ranged attacker that turns more slowly while aiming, everybody else turns at their normal rate.
definitely was for monitor and abuse. anyway back to the topic yesterday i did 3 matches, 2 of them were against cheaters... as i said before, they gave a boost for earning bp but they aren't fixing the REAL issues of the game

certain buffs/nerf to some killers that no one asked (twins, clown, deathslinger, nemesis, etc etc... )
Minor points but
- The Deathslinger change to his instant shot actually was asked for by a bunch of people who thought his ability to shoot instantly from the hip was problematic. (I’m not one of them but I remember a lot of posts about it and some popular streamers complaining about it.) Nobody claimed he was too powerful, including the devs, but the complaint was how he played wasn’t as engaging as it could be (whatever that really means.)
- Twins and Nemesis both had some add-ons buffed and others nerfed. I have no idea what data they’re using on these things but it’s obviously not intended as an overall nerf to either killer.
- Clown’s pinkie finger was definitely overpowered and deserved its nerf and was explicitly called out as problematic by many people. Clown himself probably could use a slight buff to his base kit, but that’s a separate issue.
- I’m not sure what “etc etc” is in this case. Are there actually other specific examples you have in mind?
1 still only FEW people complained about him yet he got nerfed too much without giving nothing in return
2those nerfs were COMPLETELY random, without logic if i might add
3 no doubt on that, still a nerf regardless (they nerfed flask of bleach too btw and that addon was more than fine imo)
4 there are more examples but i don't want write everything (blight is a killer that in the next patch will be buffed, and no one asked for a blight buff as far as i know)

Ah, thanks for the quote.
IMO wishing cancer on someone isn't on the same level as calling someone garbage or useless. Even says in the post that it depends on the 'level of insults' which makes sense, right?
I mean i don't wanna see ppl banned for calling someone a cringelord in the endgame chat but I wouldn't be against ppl going around wishing cancer upon others being banned - if you see what I mean.
you know how many people i have reported over the course of all these years but noone of them was banned despite being incredibly mean, wishing me to die horribly, getting covid or being racist toward me? just too many, but for them it's more important removing a cosmetic that can be used for being racist (make no sense to me how a cosmetic that fit in the killer's lore can be racist) than punishing those kind of people who are THE REAL PROBLEM about discrimination and hateful speech. i stopped reporting people since they won't do anything at all, even to cheaters (a friend of mine did 2 reports in less than 1 week 2 months ago... still no answer from them)... their report system is pointless (and this is another reason why i stopped playing since i'm tired to being mocked by cheaters/toxic/racist people left unpunished)

@AngyKiller said:
I heard this just yesterday or so.
It's this mindset from Survivors that Killers are toxic if they play to win. Or toxic they don't let the last Survivor go.
It's this mindset that Killers are supposed to think of Survivor fun, and play accordingly.
It's this mindset that Killers are to be shamed (called 'sweaty' and, of course 'toxic') if they don't put Survivors, THEIR OPPONENTS, first.
But you know what? It never works in reverse. I've never seen someone say 'You don't NEED a 4E!'.
I've never seen Survivors give the Killer a kill if they're all going to escape.
I've never seen Survivors shamed for playing for a 4E, or not thinking of Killers feelings.
It's a BS double-standard that underlies a large part of the community: That Killers are responsible for Survivor fun. That Killers can try 'too hard'. That Killers are supposed to give up Kills (and thus BP), because Survivors demand it.
You can see it in anti-camping threads; Whatever valid points there are, there is ALSO this reasoning of 'This person is being removed from the game, and that's unfair'. Except...The Killer's whole goal is to remove people from the game? That's the risk in a PvP game with no respawning?
This is the ONLY PvP game I've ever seen where people say it's unfair if they lose too fast.
You don't see people in a battle royale saying 'I died too fast because everyone found a gun first! So unfair! The last people to find guns should be immune to damage so they can have fun!'
Now, I'm not saying camping is not an issue. I'm saying that one line of reasoning is flawed, and based on this double-standard thought of 'Killers are being mean/unfair if they do their goal before I want to lose'.
Let me run over a few matches that show just why I'm very nearly burned out with this game and this double-standard. These are games I have actually had:
Example 1:
I try to 3 hook everyone. Hell, I don't really try to kill so much as I just play to have fun and get BP.
Survivors twerk at pallets. Clicky-click flashlights. Twerk at the exit gates.
End game chat: GGEZ noob! You suck! Baby killer! Uninstall scrub!
Example 2 (Before Hatch changes):
I play to 2 hook people. Turns out; 2 Solo's and a 2-man SWF. SWF does not save solos. Solos die pretty quick.
I hook 1 of the SWF. His buddy says 'I found hatch.' SWF 1 dies on hook ASAP while I'm looking for SWF 2, just jumps into hatch the picosecond it opens.
SWF 1 & 2: Noob scrub! Could not get a 4K! Why are you playing?
Me: You only got away due to sitting on the hatch.
SWF 2: So? That's because you suck! Uninstall, scrub!
Example 3:
I just try to kill. Not facecamping, but I stay near a hook if I know someone is nearby. I'm not giving any quarter. I get a 4K.
Survivors: Freaking sweat harder! We got 2 gens done! Scrub! Ever hear of giving hatch!? I was not struggling because I expected you to carry me to the hatch! Sweatlord!
It's this raging flood of toxicity. Try too little? Insults. Try too hard? Insults, coupled with this feeling of being entitled to an escape because 'something, something, fair play'.
But that fair play only goes one direction. And gets treated like a golden rule.
Many Survivors EXPECT this preferential treatment, and combust if they don't get it. Hell, I was playing in an SWF with a friend once, and we were insulting each other if we got hit, and even lying about where the Killer was to prank each other. We were not trying, at all.
My friend STILL exploded when he was the last kill, and the Killer did not give him hatch. Not in chat; he just started swearing over the mic. It was just built into him to expect it. I don't think it ever occurred to him that he would NOT get the hatch. Like, he seemed to think it was his reward for being the last Survivor.
I guess, what my point is (I'm bad at communicating), is that there's this flood of toxic thought in this game. And yes; it goes both ways. I'm not saying it does not. I'm not saying it's this 'us vs them' problem.
But it's compounded with this almost casual idea baked into many people now that Killers are supposed to cater to Survivors:
Don't kill too fast; that's not fair!
Don't camp; that's mean!
Be a good sport & don't go for that 4K; that's being a tryhard!
Don't play Killers we think are OP/toxic! (Known on the forums as 'I Disconnect when I see <x Killer>')
It's never:
Stop popping gens; the Killer only has 1 hook!
Don't 4E; that's being a tryhard!
Don't bring 16 meta perks; that's mean!
Sometimes, I want to just tell my friends that I'd rather stick toothpicks under my fingernails instead of play anymore. The toxicity just eats away at any goodwill either side attempts.
you know why people have this mindset? casue they are get used to being carried and winning without efforts (and skill) by their second chances stuff (a valid example was a match that i did yesterday... imagine using dead hard, deliverance, ds, unbrekable and a instaheal in haddonfield against a trapper with yellow addons, ALL this in a SINGLE match and you'll get the idea why they feel so entitled to have 4 escapes). with this in mind people know that the killer can't be a real threat if you aren't completely braindead as survivor, add the fact that SWF are another BIG issue that devs won't fix and the fact that toxicity and cheats aren't punished (more than 1 month ago i reported 2 people, 1 for blatant cheats with a video and various screenshots where he was admitting that he was cheating as proofs and the other for racism/racial slurs... i'm still waiting their answer)... also add the fact that they are 4 guys vs 1 (if the survivor have a similar mindset from each other you can bet your soul that they'll unite to harass you, no matter what) and you have "the entire picture" regarding thier double standard

When you play toxic and trying to do "juke montage", you are just having fun. When you fail with it with all your SWF, and killer gives you a taste of your medicine (nodding to you and letting you bleed on the ground, although for the last one, there was no hook near), he is a scumbag that cruelly mocks and scoffs above you. L-logic. BHVR, please do something with these dirty campers, tunnelers and sluggers! We just want to bully them, and these dirty mechanics are getting in our way! They need to be nerfed urgently, we don't enjoy the game!
just another killer main day, i even wonder why you are so surprised... i'm still playing killer, without camping and tunneling, yet they must cry everytime just because they loose or because yes... i won't reduce myself like those kind of nasty "players" (for not saying worse things) despite i claimed the contrary on this forum (i'm simply not suited/not enjoy for playing in that way). anyway, this kind of behavior should be heavily punished imo, but you know what devs think about that matter... what did you expect from people who tell you to report people ddosing you (you can't even do it cause once ddossed you'll be redirected directly to the main menu) instead of fix the problem?

This happens every time something terrible players used to think they're good gets nerfed.
Multi-blink Nurse? Nurse got a massive swing of the Hammer and down she went, taking both good and terrible Nurses down with her (good players couldn't deal with the bugs, bad players couldn't be asked now they no longer had 4 blinks without downsides, or old OmegaBlink:tm: to basically guarantee wins).
Forever Freddy? Down went his add-ons and you saw a lot less people stacking every possible slowdown. Some even used chase perks. Then he got hit again- perhaps a bit too hard- so off he fell.
Old Old Spirit? Remember when everyone said them adding in a vault animation and removing collision would kill her? Then Stridor went and she was still incredibly powerful? Then the most recent change happened and she's s t i l l incredible, just god forbid you have to use brainpower now.
Whenever there's something obviously overbearingly good then bad players will flock to it like moths to a lamp to make themselves feel better. Then, when it's taken away and they're faced with the reality, they figure out they only enjoyed stomping people and migrate to the next thing that takes the least effort for the greatest reward. It was Spirit, it was Freddy, and it was Nurse. Who it is now I genuinely don't know, I haven't played enough to see it yet.
You know, I found it hilarious that the same logic isn't applied for survivors (dead hard it's a valid example)... A killer is strong even if they aren't streamers over 5000 hours that use her/him? Nerf...
-
Dear killer, why you are toxic towards people that doesn't deserve it?
Dear survivors, ddossing me when I won playing in a ######### map for me, playing absolutely fair without broken addons and without being a sweatlord won't change the outcome of the match, you still loose, and you'll have a longer queue as survivor due to your childish behavior
Dear survivors, you can't perk shame me or complain about my game style when you genrush, use broken items, meta builds and being picks towards me. You simply deserve it cause you aren't here to have fun, you are here to humiliate and bully people for your ego...

Do you mean "or be balanced around that"? Because there's absolutely no method in existence that would actually manage to stop people from using voice chat in one way or another, for a variety of reasons ranging from breaking the developer terms of service of certain consoles to being unacceptably intrusive.
There is and it's quite simple but it will never happen cause this will probably "kill the game" as people claim... Allows to create parties ONLY in kill your friends mode

Hii everyone, I'm new to this whole forum thing so please treat me nicely! :D
I came here today to tell all of you killer mains out there that I appreciate you very much.
I usually main survivor only because it's always stressful to play killer even though I really really want to so I congratulate any of you that continue to still do so.
Today, I felt like playing pinhead for some reason so I did. I didn't run any meta perks because I'm here to have fun, not sweat. You can tell how that game probably went, but if not, gens basically popped everywhere even with pressure applied. Anyways, I'm not here to complain about that because frankly I expected it and don't really mind. What I want to point out is the toxicity I'm observing as killer from survivors.
I got absolutely DEMOLISHED by the survivors in the endgame chat and it was because I got ONE kill on their friend and I don't see why it's that serious when I did not tunnel/ proxy camp until endgame seeing as there was nothing else for me to do at that point when they were all hovering around. It's cool though, just get into another match and continue on.
Now survivors, I know there are killers that may do the same thing, it's not just one sided. From now on, I think everyone should play their part and have a positive mindset! It's not just what the Devs do, but the community plays a huge part in the health of this game too. :D
Oh yeah, I hope everyone is having a very amazing and wonderful day today! <3
This is another reason why I stopped playing dbd recently... I mean, I can easily adapt at the circumstances (I have rules for that purpose: if someone start to being toxic, finish generators under my nose without fearing me or use their perks in an unintended way, like taking protection hits with borrow time, bodyblocking me despite i did everything to avoid to chase you after being unhooked, you asked for a unfun match in my book) but every match is filled with salt and childish people... Boring and annoying tbh, too much salt isn't good for health...
-
Don't waste your time, devs will simply ignore your complaints, they care only to have new players and sell their stuff to them... If they cared about the game's health then they would already done something regarding the ddos issue and the huge amount of cheaters present in the game...

Tbagging has been in online games as far back as I can remember and, unlike when this argument is used in other contexts (such as using slurs in endgame chat 🧍) , is actually harmless. It's an attempt to get under your skin, a form of psychological warfare if you're feeling extra dramatic, and if you're making this post it's working.
Tbagging is objectively a bad idea. You lose seconds of distance pressing control. It's frustrating but has no impact on gameplay and is only done to be aggrevating.
I don't really think it needs to be "solved", and if you feel yourself being tilted by it easily then it could be indicative of something else.
(not to mention the above point of removing counterplay to Hag, Pyramid Head, removing what remained of the use of Urban Evasion, and would basically shoot down stealth once and for all).
So if a killer keeps nodding at you while you are bleeding to death or on a hook while he already won or during a match isn't toxic too for that kind of logic... Cause it's actually harmless and it's a psychological warfare that too... Meh, I'm unconvinced tbh
-
As killer:
"I got you, but wait, it was too easy, let me guess... Dead hard?" 2 seconds later "######### brainless perk!"
As survivor:
"time to do generators... Wait, why Nea is running in my direction?" 2 minutes later "I should be much more worried about my teammates than the killer itself, they are the true killers"

There are killers out there, like some streamers with DC in 30 to 40% of their trials because they are toxics, hard camping and tunneling first hook. You clearly have stats about it, why do you still let them playing the game while half the time someone is DCing ?
Personaly, when i play killer, no one is DC'ing, it happens like 1 time out of 50 trials.
Ban those toxic players and the toxicity will hugely decrease.
Camping and tunneling aren't considered as bannable offense (only tunneling IF you keep targeting the same survivor repeatedly every time, ignoring everyone else on purpose). Are those things unpleasant? Yes. Can you counter them? Yes, pretty much easily i might add. So no, your request won't be granted. Regarding DC this is considered a bannable offense for various reasons:
1 You can deny a certain tome challenge or achievement, just for your boosted ego (happened to me when I had to sacrifice 4 people in the basement in a single trial and no, without doing something unpleasant, just for the simple fact that one of them understan that I had that challenge cause I was using agitation)
2 you can bypass certain gameplay mechanics (hatch that will spawn immediately right after the DC. Now imagine this with a hatch offering and you have a granted escape for the last remaining survivor) or deny them (bbq stack or pop goes to Weasel won't proc)
3 you'll ruin the experience of every player in the trial (survivors will have a harder time and killer less points. This should be considered griefing

BHVR fixing something? Not so much.
Sooner or later they'll do something about it, they have to if they don't want to lose other players...

Dead hard is very up and down.
It can even be useless if the killer has too high of ping even if you pull it off in a correct scenario.
Exhaustion perks are meant to gain distance to prevent getting hit etc. so what would be the point of nerfing something helpful to escape tunneling, and ultimately death.
For traps and stuff, well they used their exhaustion perk on a trap and your complaining? If you can't get them while their skill is on cooldown is that you or the survivor at that point?
Dead hard is perfectly fine how it is.
I bet that you had never played killer... So for you it's perfectly fine if the survivor screw something while looping but a simple button will erase that error... If you think that dead hard is so easy to deal with it then I propose you an experiment: as killer find a match with decent survivors (add the fact that most of the survivors that I'm aganist or that I'm paired with if I play as survivor are with the typical meta build) with that perk and count for how much they'll waste your time after a dead hard, then come back to tell us your experience. Also it's funny that you mentioned bad ping, cause now it will work from the survivor perspective and not from the killer perspective (like pallets, so you as killer will see a correct hit, but the game will deny it cause it will prioritize the stun or the dead hard). You said something correct, exhaustion perks are meant to gain distance to prevent to getting hit, but dead hard is MORE than this... As I said before, you can COMPLETELY counter the killer's power (or eventually to use his power aganist him in the Trapper case) those iframes are a thing that shouldn't be here in the 1st place. Secondly this is the only exhaustion perk that actually works whenever you want (unlike the other exhaustion perks that cannot be controlled directly, this alone is already enough for a well deserved rework/nerf). Thirdly... Tunneling? Are you serious? So if I Chase the 1st survivor that I see on the map at the start of match, this is tunneling... Please, make valid points or don't even write those things... I want solid points if you want to argue my topic.

Lobby loads, obvious 2 man SWF, they have a name tag so they're not hiding it at least.
I won't be that guy and lobby dodge.
Game loads up, map offering.
Guess I'll just not play tonight then.
I personally never dc, even if they put Haddonfield as map offering, but in case they started to bring nasty stuff or they play in a unfun way, you can bet that I'll do EVERYTHING to gave them what they seek...

Its your job as a player to give constructive feedback. Especially if you want to be vocal about the game in anyway regarding playing the game regardless of your role. Lazy suggestions make you look like you don't care about the health of the game like you so state that you do.
I don't play killer much often, as of late. I'm a year 1 player with several thousand hours in game.
I'm not avoiding anything. It used to be the best perk to avoid a hit. Now its to gain distance to extend the loop a few more seconds. As I stated, you act like DH is a spammable perk. You aren't playing around it. I'm waiting for you to post an constructive suggestion other than "change it pls". You are in the Feedback and SUGGESTIONS portion of the forum. You posted a lazy suggestion and I called you out for it. What more do you want?
Lots of things are unhealthy for the game. Literally, so much more than Dead Hard. As I stated, the stats are grouped from 5 years worth of play time, and should be taken with a ginormous grain of salt. Not a reason for you to go Super Saiyan 11 because you see a threat.
If its changed, then No Mither needs to be changed. Because No Mither needs that complimentary perk in David's 'kit'. They have no plans of changing No Mither, as far as i know. Now if you said repair a gen for x seconds instead of JUST being injured, i could understand that. Maybe do a totem. Hell, sabo a hook to get the killers attention as well as being injured. This way you have to prime the perk, instead of just getting punched in the face and then getting a free out. I would even accept be chased for a few seconds. DBD has so many prerequisites you could choose from.
OK you want a suggestion? Here's one:
After using dead hard you can't use windows or throw down pallets for 7 seconds.. Since this perk was thinked for avoid hits, then you can keep it's nature and in the meantime you avoid any use out of his original idea, to avoid a hit... (also it shouldn't work with bear traps and dream snares)
Regarding no mither of course it should be changed as well

Can you guys start typing this under one of the other 300 threads with the same topic. I'm assuming after DH is out of the way SB will be next.
Don't have problems with sprint burst at all, the only exhaustion perk that must be COMPLETELY reworked is dead hard. Period

I'm sorry, but you are wrong. You think I paid my money just to get hooked and stared at with no way of getting out except of a suicide? And what if this happens twice, thrice or even more times after? It basically prevents you from playing at all, regardless of your purhcasing intent .
So yes, that killer is taking survivor hostage for not letting him play at all. And it should be a viable reason for a refund no matter how long you've been playing this game.
As I said before, blame the devs for consider this type of gameplay a strategy because this won't change in the future anytime soon... This is written in the official dbd rules, it isn't my personal thought...

Hooking a player is a gameplay mechanic. Camping the hook and not allowing anyone to unhook them is, at best, holding that player hostage until they die.
As you said, until he dies... If a survivor will eventually die those kind of actions (let someone bleed to death or camping) cannot be classified as taking the game hostage (thanks the devs for this) cause the game will (slowly) progress until the final outcome

Camping isn't a problem because somebody thinks it's a strong strategy... it has more to do with taking a player hostage and not allowing them to play.
You can't take a player hostage, it's a gameplay mechanic, a part of the game and we must accept it (sadly), like "tunneling" and "genrushing". They are boring? Yes. They can be countered efficiently and easily? Yes. The real problem are people who REFUSE to adapt to some kind of playstyle when you are forced to play in a certain way in order to have good chances of escaping/killing.
Just an example: I previously did a match against a bubba facecamper, he won, killing everyone. You know why he didn't have troubles? Cause I was THE ONLY ONE that was working on generators. Wanna know what the others did? They were swarming the hook... Aganist a bubba (and it was already obvious from the noise that the chainsaw did, paired with the aura of the downed survivor that was leaving the locker in the 1st chase)... Without insidious...

Everybody complains just like you're complaining about them complaining.
And these rulebooks I hear about don't exist.
I'm not complaining, I'm used to it (sadly). After more than 2000 hours i know that certain people are a lost cause... Yet I'm still trying to understand what they are thinking...

Otz did a whole video countering this statement. Ghostface can be revealed with stretched resolutions.
This alone should be sufficient to classify stretched res as cheating imo...

Really sad, this proves once more the indifference of the devs toward the issues of the game
