Had the perk knockout and downed claudette in the corner of the map.
No one revived her....I dont think anyone could find her.
But why didnt she crawl to the middle of the map?

Im afraid you need to wait for the mmr and hope it works. This problem is known for years.
-
I just hope we get the MMR soon, so that wraith is not getting nerfed bc of killrates.
I have red ranks who give me free MYC 6 times in a match bc they heal always under the hook in a deadzone. They dont even try to think about counter to wraith.

Agitation saves you time, these times when you have to hook fast someone or the gen will be done, with agitation you can go to the nearest hook of the gen you want to patrol (which sometimes is impossible because slightly too far) faster.
Every seconds does count, evey perks that saves the killer's time is a good perk.
Yes, i know. My point was that you cant compare agitation with boil over.

In their defense, people weren't experienced at the game back then, so they probably thought Trapper and Wraith were mega OP.
Well, the people who complain now are the same. I dont think there are many experienced dbd player who think wraith is op.

Your advice is in theory perfectly valid, but the problem is that Wraith can now pretty much just hang out and wait for you to be anywhere that's to his advantage, then zoom over and smack you halfway before you've even realized that he's uncloaked. I'm not necessarily calling for a nerf, I just thing that the latest buffs he got push him over the line. Invisible AND super fast AND basically totally silent AND he can now uncloak right near you without you even hearing him do it? That's just too much. It's as if the survivors are expected to play the entire game as a group, in the diamond formation, just to avoid him instantly appearing and starting the downing process.
I admit that I'm still a pretty new player, I'm humble in my defeats. I know that with practice it won't be so bad. I just don't understand how I can have a more or less fair game against pretty much any other killer - sometimes I win, sometimes I lose, it's all good - yet whenever I face the Wraith now (definitely NOT before the update), I just pretty much always lose. I can walk, or run, or even try to hide (which I hate doing, I don't like playing that way) yet no matter how aware of my surroundings I try to be, he has every sensory advantage over me AND he's now faster than he was before. Since the update there has not been one time where he uncloaked within my vicinity and failed to land a hit pretty much the SECOND he fully appeared, and chase me so fast that he lands the second hit just a moment later. And I just sit there thinking "what could I have possibly done to avoid this"?
Do you play with a headset? You should hear him if he tries to uncloak right next to you. He makes a weird sound.
-
If one escapes with the key in the end i see it still as a killer win if two or more escape nobody has won.
But as survivor i still take the hatch escape even when it means i didnt "win".

I mean no survivors carries killers. The killer has to earn rank 1, unlike survivors who can easily rank up to red ranks just by being carried by their friends. I got some red rank friends who are red rank, who don't know even how to perform basic loops. So no solo uncoordinated team just goes okay we are ALL going to let this killer get hooks and kills. And in red ranks most teams are quite decent, even a lot of solos.
But boosted survivor carry killer to red rank. I cant really measure that bc i have now too many hours in the game, but two years ago i got to red rank and i was not a really good killer.

You base survivor position off past behavior of that survivor or off common tactics of the rank you play. You cannot be 100% certain what a survivor will do, even in the open.
As for "more" LoS blockers, I question what maps they are basing this argument on. Nearly every new map has LoS blockers and any indoor map is hell to play in.
Lets take blood lodge as a example or another autohaven map. Many of them have areas with only many short wall loops. This loops are strong against many killer, but not effective against nurse, deathslinger etc.
-
Bc it would be a really strong effect even if you could only escape every fifth time.
Agitation is not bad, but you will almost every time reach a hook without agitation.
-
They will first only do all original survivor. But i think they never said which will be the last.
-
I think wraith is still only average. When he gets to close i hear him and even when he ambushes me its only one hit. Personally i would like stronger stealth killer in this game.

You mean a psycho with a flamethrower doesnt fit in this game. Why exactly?
-
They will probably change almost nothing gameplay wise.
-
Some killers probably really change targets bc if teabagging, but moat of the time its just taunting and they feel better.
-
I dont really need bloodpoints anymore and i still play killer. Killer is fun, but i know its sometimes a frustrating experience. But i never forced myself to play killer for bloodpoints.

There are already a lot of LOS blockers on maps that survivors can use against Nurse. Most survivors just choose not to utilize them. There are filler tiles at the edges of nearly every map in addition to the regular tiles you would use against regular killers. I always caution against balancing around less skilled players, because it causes a lot of power creep in more skilled matches. Adding more LOS blocks wouldn't necessarily even nerf Nurse against the average player because the average player has no clue how to run a Nurse in the first place. It would just make her even harder to play against a skilled survivor.
But isnt it good when it only affects good nurses against good survivor? Its not about balancing around bad players. Right now a good nurse can compete against a good team, but if there is any buff to killer like a early game mechanic, higher gen regression speed etc. good nurses could overpower good teams.
I know now that more LoS-blocker would be a bad change bc it would punish other killer, but maybe only some maps need more LoS-blocker. For example the middle in gas heaven are only many short wall loops.
-
I have no problems at all. Its only to rank 5, so i reach red rank almost immediately.
-
Plague and Oni. Plague infects everyone and Oni gets his power constantly. It would be a big slugfest.
-
I think you shouldnt use the same perks, but the best perks for the specific killer. So i understand why he didnt use noed on trapper, but i think he could have used better perks on him. But i dont have experience with trapper against good teams, so maybe this were the best perks.

You see... Even tho' Nurse does not benefit that much from "looping" nerfing loop would buff her regardless... Less terrain to blink through, less LoS... I really don't think we need to either nerf her or bring the roster up to par... How many real good Nurses you face in a daily basis? I don't think I get 1. And I'd rather get wooped by a good Nurse than lose to a stridor spirit...
There are many weak tiles which have LoS-blocker, but not much safety against other killer.
I think with the upcoming mmr we need to strengthen weaker killer. Its boring to play always against the same killer.

Endgame facecamping is the killer giving up.
Not really. Giving up to win? With most common win conditions certainly. But to be fair the chance for a 4k is higher then when you chase someone who can just open the exit gate after a hit.
But he is not giving up on playing a killer. He is still a threat for the survivor. They need to take a risk to get all 4 out, they are not safe.
I know everyone has his own opinions but for me its exciting to get the safe against a camping killer when the exit gates are 99%. Bc its a challenge, but possible.
-
@VSchmitt said:
Not really since good Nurses will have already learned how to play against LoS breakers and new ones will have even more of a bad time learning her.
Also LoS mess up with 99% of the killers so it would be a general nerf to all of them.
Yh i see how it would hurt deathslinger etc. But if we cant nerf nurse, should we just weaken loops to make all killer compete with nurse?

Assuming you are facecamping someone that has never been hooked and it is the endgame collapse, which means maximum bloodpoints, you get.... 200 points for making them hit struggle and 500 points for sacrificing them. If they had already been hooked, you only get the 500. If it's not EGC, those bloodpoints go down to 200/200. You could argue that you might get bloodpoints for interacting with rescuers, but let's keep it simple and assume you didn't go against potatoes. And because you're not going against potatoes, the gates won't be open and it won't be EGC. So that's 400-600 BP for facecamping someone from unhooked to sacrificed, a single pip point in the sacrifice catagory, and a while lot of negative points for the Hunter catagory.
Now let's look at just leaving and chasing someone. In my experience that almost always results in another hook, but for consistency let's say it doesn't. You get 200 for starting a chase, which you will start with at least two people just by seeing them run out the exit gates. Breaking pallets and walls is 100 each, so let's assume you break a single pallet for 100. You're definitely going to be able to hit them, which is another 300. So right now we're sitting at 800 BP. Which is an extremely conservative estimate and assumes you only hit one person and don't get at least one more hook.
Most of the time killer camp bc they know they cant get a down before the survivor leaves. Isnt a chase where the outcome is clear boring? To try to get a unhook against a defending killer is for all players more interesting if the survivor try. And when not the survivor can just kill himself and its over in seconds. Its frustrating for me when i dont get rescued, but a free escape is boring and i hate it when the killer gives up.

Yeua it'd be nicer but no dbd maths
Can i get the same results like this:
20% slowdown means that after 80 sec (100% without slowdown) a gen is only 80% done. So 20 sec is left for the last 20%. Its easier to calculate for me, but did i make a mistake?
-
I hope that wasnt me. I play ace and i got two instacleans last week. They should really rework all totem spots bc sometimes you walk 5m and you see it. Imo they should just spawn all 4 survivor together to make it easier to avoid this.
-

wait, does it work on the Pig? if i have someone blind with this hex and they have a trap on their head, can they see the jigsaw boxes?
They can see jigsaw boxes.
-
Do you mean gameplay rework? Then Haddonfield, The game and Fractured Cowshed the most. But there are many other maps which should be atleast slightly changed.
-
They look decent, but i need to see them ingame before i can say it for sure.
-
Dbd in Mortal kombat would work better. I think a fighter as killer would be weird, but maybe im wrong.
-
Haddonfield can be really bad. The only good thing is that bad survivor dont know how to use the full potential.
-
Nobody says Clown cant win, even D-tier are doing fine against average red ranks. The thing is that other killer would also win against your opponents.
Its hard to compare killer with public matches, maybe the mmr will change that. (If it works and they want to show us the stats)
-
The most annoying thing is when a noob cant count. There is one hooked person, the killer is chasing another person and two noobs walk together to a gen and start doing it for 40 seconds. Who do they expect to unhook?
-
I personally reach rank 1 as killer a lot faster, so i doesnt matter when i lose it after a match. As a survivor i lose pips all the time, but its probably bc i stay on a gen when i know that another survivor will unhook and so i get not many altruism points.
But in the end both ranks are meaningless and easy to reach.
-
Ready, set, go
After crouching for 7 seconds, break into a sprint at 150% of your normal running speed for a maximum of 10 seconds. Ready, set, go causes the Exhausted status effect for 40 seconds.

Sounds a lot like survivors, to be fair.
To be fair otz did test it with experienced killer against experienced survivor. Its still not perfect, but its more accurate then a streamer who just puts some killer in a tierlist.

When you start playing dbd and pick billy, you give up because he is very frustrating and hard to play. Usually newbie billies bump into everything and are almost exclusively m1s. So we have high ranks that knows how to dance with billy unfortunately.
I never had a problem with billy at the start. Rank 20-11 were so bad, i could chainsaw them easily. Billy was the first killer i reached red rank with.

In public queue it doesn't really mean much. Scott Jund had a 50 win streak with speed limiter old Bubba. If I play during certain hours then 9 out of 10 teams I can just 4k on autopilot, because that's just the nature of matchmaking. But during other hours when there are few red rank killers online, then I get survivors with thousands of hours each and I'd take Billy over Plague any day of the week.
I dont think this tier list is perfect, but i can understand why Billy is in C-tier. The data for this tierlist is from custom matches. 4 survivor with over 3000 hour against a killer main with similar hours. For Billy it was a player from a tournament team. So this tierlist is not so important for matches against average red ranks.

How? All it would take is linking accounts, which is something Fortnite, Rocket League, and other big games do, which are present on PS4.
It is of course easy, but sony for example could get a disadvantage bc player buy less in the pkaystation store. Big games like Fortnite have more leverage, are willing to pay enough for that or it wouldnt mean a income decrease for sony.
-
Take tinkerer from Billy or Monitor & Abuse from doctor. As gen defense you only have Ruin from Hag. You could use sloppy for longer healing and more blood orbs. Then you could use Nurses calling or Thana from Nurse to use the extra healing time.

I can understand your point and going against a M1lly or a Melee Bubba is not fun but think about it: Both of them have way longer charge time and once charged their powers force them to go into de face direction so you have a little time for a quick turn and make them screw themselves (billy is way easier than bubba 'cause of hitboxes but...)
Huntress can windup in your face and just wait untill you stop spinning or untill she can catch your "jukes" and then let go...
Huntress and Billy are the same for me, but a close range bubba is almost unavoidable if he is good.
-
I like the rework. I always see people who want addons which change the playsytle of the killer and this addon accomplishes that.
The problem with the distant requirement could be that it would make good huntresses really strong and survivor would play weird.(Waiting or running towards huntress)
Now some people say bad killer would just get close and would have it easy. But Huntress is 110%. If she gets close a Bubba or Billy would have it easier and down you, too. My problem is a camping huntress, but Bubba is still worse and a huntress without addons can camp very well with the build-in stbfl, too.
-
The community is toxic. There are probably communities with more toxity, but there are many games were people are less toxic. I played many games, but most of my toxic messages are from dbd. I disabled messages bc of that and they send friend request with toxic messages. I dont see many toxic players anymore, but i think its because i win most of the time. They cant spam gg ez, when they lose.
