There is no comprehending the advanced survivor techniques without reading the rule book as all of the advanced techniques are hidden as a cipher in the survivornomicon ex vivus.

in my opinion bubba was always a killer you see a lot, easy killer to use, decently strong and opressive. extremely fun to use aswell and yes, he can make sure people will die, people like that. bubba is still a fun killer to go agaisnt as long as you have windows, so whats the problem? rather like to face nurses and blights?...
That is what the Bamboozle is for. Need to make sure they have no fun whatsoever.

That was not the main concern though. What people are truly mad about is the fact they accepted the NFTs terms PAE set to have pinhead in the game. The better choice for them would have been saying no, seeing that it now kills whatever rep they had left. It's true that they are not selling NFTs, however, they had a hand in making them. Pinhead isn't worth seeing this game possibly die out.
If the game dies, it will not be because they added Pinhead to it. Rofl.
-
Absolutely, if you played him before, why would you stop now? He always sucked...

Ok so firstly, that post was in direct response to what the new Iri video tape does. Honestly, that add on looks intriguing at the very least.
Secondly, Pig was only nerfed if you consistently ran Tampered Timer + Crate of Gears. If you did literally anything else with your add-ons besides going for head pops... she wasn't nerfed and you have a bunch of new options to work with. I don't know how strong or not those new options are because I haven't had a chance to try them, but saying Pig was nerfed overall is premature.
I do not entirely disagree that it might be a bit premature. But at the same time, it is relatively obvious none of the new stuff is nearly as effective. They might still be her best add ons, actually, unless you want to do the Plaything trick.
Whatever, they can nerf her again if this didn't work.
-
Someone apparently reported me and recorded footage to Behavior, and as you might have guessed, no ban.

I built one like this with renames on the power, characters, addons, and lore back when this was anounced. A common thing I've seen from all reskin ideas is a werewolf. I guess great minds think alike.
No, great minds support the true tunneler... A naked mole rat killer.

Is this a hint that Candyman is the next killer. OH. MY. GOD!!!

I don't see anyone using selfcare over circle of healing. Why would you? And self-care was one of the most popular perks. I doubt they will go away.
To get rid of NOED reliably AND heal myself for more bloodpoints?
-
@FFirebrandd said:
This isn't a nerf. It supports a different playstyle. It uses all your traps for delay at the beginning when you need it most but it does make head pops very unlikely. To be honest, all Iri Addons should be playstyle shifts instead of massive buffs.
They nerfed her good add ons... So, yes, she was nerfed.
-
At this rate, it wouldn't be an awful idea.
-
To be fair, I doubt many people even know about the NFT situation. And even if they did, it has very little to do with anything other than Behavior signing awful contracts.
-
Well, based on that other thread, maybe people are avoiding it because it causes crashing? It could also just be that a lot of the casuals are waiting for the tome or event before starting their grind.

@ChurchofPig said:
The archives have ever shown us ONE killer that has ever released sometime in the future and that was Blight. The cutscene he was in happened a year before he became a killer and he had been a character for ANOTHER year before even that. So if we're getting technical about existing characters that we don't know much about becoming a new killer, we're looking at 1 to 2 years after their debut. People look way too much into the archives for new characters, it probably won't happen even with that time frame to go off of.
Kind of ironic that you are establishing a pattern of one as precedent and then criticizing people for "looking too much" into something. Like, what?

He wasn't nearly that high in demand. Springtrap and Candyman were more requested.
And even if he was, that doesn't mean he was in demand -under these circumstances-. If he'd released with the same licensing deal as literally every preceding killer, there wouldn't be a problem.
And hey, that might've been a reality if they waited half a year, since apparently, the current license holders are losing the license in December, so they could've negotiated a far more reasonable deal.
There is no world where Candyman was more requested. Well, maybe a world where Candyman was the Cenobite in Hellraiser, I guess... Or one where he never existed. Other than that, no shot.
-
You would have gotten the hit without hit validation, actually.
-
I honestly just want to play the game, fam. Behavior's horrible contracts have nothing to do with that. I think they should git gud, but that is about the extent of it.

No, it's still very much up to the survivor to mess up. He has a way less punishing cooldown on his fake outs because he's 115%, but smart survivors will know what you can and cannot do with that killer.
Well, sure, but it is better than all of the other ranged killers. With those, I am just kind of screwed unless I commit and get it out of the way A$ap.

I am starting to doubt that the system actually works like that. I've been dying like 15 games in a row to see if something changes -nothing-. Still the same kind of killer. I am starting to wonder if they are telling us the truth.
I'm actually starting to think that it only applies for survivors. I get killers with perks from recent characters like lethal pursuer on wraight (for example) level 3 playing pretty good and teammates with urban, spinechill + dark sense and technician or selfcare... .
Kinda unfun and unfair.
That... Sounds like it is working? If you are running the killer for that long, they aren't that good, or the gens are flying. But if survivors are impersonating rank 20 survivors... Pretty clear it is the former.
-
I actually think this is horrible timing and they will make less money than they otherwise would have.
-
It is doubtful unless perhaps you purchased something really close to the removal and they would reimburse you as a sign of good faith. It would likely depend on what type of representative you are speaking to.
Like, you know when you ask for extra Sweet and Sour sauce and you get some of those people who reluctantly give you one extra packet as though McDonald's is their adoptive parent, and then others dump like the entire reserve in there for you. They are homies, but what am I going to do with 30 Sweet and Sour packages?
-
Or... can we just have licensed content without nfts? Lol.
-
There aren't more than 12 months in Murica.
-
That is why I love Nemesis, I can just fake, disrespect the pallet and get a free m1 on those clowns. Best ranged killer because he doesn't move like he had an accident.
-
Wow... This was beautiful. Well done, Lorax. If they aren't persuaded by this, we are truly beyond salvation.
-
I feel stupid, I already bought some auric cells anticipating a certain skin, and then I find out I basically cucked myself, and now all of this about NFTs? Feels bad man.

Jesus Christ BHVR, what have you done.
Eh... I have been playing for the Halloween event and I do not see going back to it as my main game until Overwatch 2. If you think this game has no content or is toxic, you are about to get whiplash.

Why is there some mass exodus? I just came in and see tons of people finna leave. Rofl.
-
Well, don't worry, higher mmr killers basically have no choice in the matter. Their acceptance is irrelevant.
-
I think it is super overrated and most top killers I watch sacrifice stacks all the time anyways which kind of defeats the purpose of running it.

What if the rescuer doesn't bring BT, and the tunnelled doesn't bring DS?
Yes, back to easy mode. They are going to die so ridiculously fast unless their team realizes and leaves them to rot on hook for the last minute.
-

They don't have the whole map of resources. If you're tunnelling off hook, they only have the hook's immediate vicinity to work with, which is likely where they went down last time, too.
If Borrowed, a body block, and DS don't get them to the next tile, you have to admit my hook placement was pretty sick.
-
I see tons of survivors complain about it. RIP Deathslinger, you will be missed, but never forgotten.
-
They need to add a forfeit option after 10 minutes. Simple as that. And we can stop this ludicrous "taking the game hostage" nonsense. It goes well beyond just hackers. But that is a HUGE problem at the moment.

or just a secondary effect to add lunges to carrying that don't consume tokens, that would make another fun carrying perk since sometimes that little extra edge is all you need for a free hit, although I think it would break with mad grit stacking back to back lunges so sadly I don't think it could become a thing
Yeah, that build sounds truly meta. I would drop ruin and pop for it in a heartbeat. Too OP.

that's not at all camping if survivors were nearby and the killer knows it. but i've had way too many games where the killer would just stare at the first guy they downed at 5 gens for no apparent reason - that's camping and it needs to be penalized. i really don't care that the killer had a terrible game previously or if their real lives suck, ruining the game for a consumer is just bad business for bhvr.
The reason is to secure the kill as fast as possible. It makes the rest of the game much easier. Trust.

Never, and I hope they buff survivor to make it harder for killers too.

Is it even playing the game anymore if you aren't doing your objective.
Yes. I play the game longer than most survivors. I stay behind to finish totems or sabo more hooks, or get chased, whatever really. More playing, less waiting in lobbies.

@SleepyWillo said:
I mean you've just listed why people tunnel. This isn't ground-breaking. It's easy and skill less which is what people have a problem with.
Also none of what you listed is the survivor "exploiting" anything. Those are the base mechanics. To imply being healed by a teammate is the survivors "exploiting" anything is new though
To be fair, the only circumstance under which tunneling doesn't take skill is if you are tunneling a bot. Not my fault the survivor is easy to tunnel when they have a whole map of resources.

No, PVP games are not where you have to "earn your fun". In most pvp games both/all sides are balanced, and are fun from the start, and there are clear routes for improvement. You earn how well you do, but the fun is always there. Face-camping is more like spawn camping, which most good games remove as an option. The person on the hook has no way to earn their fun. The face-camper takes away their potential fun, just like spawn campers. They put themselves in a position to ruin someone else's game. Even if the other 3 people do gens, that person has a bad time.

Which competitive games do not have spawn camping?
-
Only perhaps one subtle cheater this month, and I am not entirely sure. I do not play my Freddy as much who is the only one at high mmr.
-
I mean, it is not really an excuse. It is just not mathematically feasible under certain circumstances. Like... I do not even care if it happens to me. I do not even run slowdown because I feel it is such a negligible difference. But gens can totally be rushed. I am sure better killers can handle it better, but even the best get gen rushed. So, I do not know what your point is.
I guess you are salty that killers do not respect survivors who can glue themselves to gens? I doubt you respect all my face camping kills either. And it is because it is so low effort. Its fine, you can hammer gens out, I can hammer smash your face on hook. No need for us to validate each other.
-
Huh? There is a LOT of variety here compared to meta slave survivors. This looks like it might have been an interesting group to play against.
-
I care about myself more than I care to borrow time. I have plenty of time... To self care.

So would you rather have survivors loop you or hold W? Make up your mind.
I would rather they hold w, actually. I do not want to run around the same broken obstacle until they use a window 3 times.
