Multiple people can still be wrong.
As evidenced by how many people still think that doing bones counters NOED.
How... Does it not? I am very interested to hear this one.

The part when they say survivors can only run when killer finds them...
Meanwhile 4 man squad finding me before I can find them to click in my face and teabag.
But what happens once you step forward? They all start running. Never seen an alpha Chad just take a hit except for me. I am built different on survivor. I will teabag on hatch... And not take it. Just to assert my dominance.

Why not simply make a system that depends on amount of gens finished, it should just punish camping very hard early game, this way the killer cant deny the first survivor to actually play the game, it also counters the killers that want to camp the first survivor real quick to get an ez game for the rest of the match, it also counters that the 3 other survivors dont just have an m1 game while the killer is waiting for the first survivor to die. (doing gens agaisnt a facecamper is no counter... its litterly just not playing the game, not the killer not the survivors, the match becomes an actual m1 generator simmulator.) Just make the penalty smaller when more gens are completed, disable it if 2 gens total are completed or whatever but at least do something about these early campers.
I remember a guy playing leatherface that downed the first survivor in 20seconds and hard facecamped the first second he was hooked without any1 around, i checked his profile and he had 1000+ PAGES!! of comments on his profile back to 2016 that he was doing this same thing. people want to have fun playing games, why do 10000's of people have to experience this just for 1 guy his own fetish.
BHVR is slow at everything they do but does it rly have to take 5+ years for a huge design flaw to be addressed? it cant be that hard to make 1 of the systems (the many systems they claim to have but didnt work out) generator dependend, its litterly just a number check...
That one guy's fun is just as important as 10,000 cry babies. Their fun matters too, but they had their chance when they were first chased.

Do you not know what thread you're in or what? The whole thing is about how they should be penalized for toxic behaviour.
Which is what face camping is because it hijacks the game.
But I, like the developers, simply fail to see the problem. I think it is more or less just you, fam. I hope you get what you want, sincerely... I am just thinking that the chance is not overly high.

If people think playing Killer in DBD is frustrating, where all the Survivors can do is flee from you, they're going to have a much worse time in a game where the Survivors are actively encouraged to relentlessly gang up on you.
That's exactly what happened in F13 and Last Year, to endless complaints.
Yes, but it also seems like killers have better potential in that game relatively speaking. It all depends on the balance and interactions.

No idea what you mean by this. I started tanking my mmr the moment they announced they were collecting it behind the scenes. Only now starting to get to the annoying ranks where i need to equip gen defence but i can't be bothered.
I seem to get 3 easy games where i win and then one blowout with a 4 stack that do the gens in 3 minutes so i am happy to stay here :)
How did you tank your mmr going for 12 hooks? That is a 4k, fam.
But yeah, I play at low mmr too. I feel bad for all these killer mains experiencing the true DBD experience. Rip to them, but I am different.

You mean exactly why they need to fix it? Lol Rip because it's controlling the game and should be penalized for the toxic behaviour it is. Acting like it isn't because you wanna do it is your problem, it keeps people from playing. Stay mad at facts I guess lol
I am not mad. As I stated earlier, I believe the survivors are the ones preventing you from playing the game. Not the killer.
I have never had an issue getting someone off a hook and I am about as bad at survivor as anyone could possibly get.
I just don't understand what you want. You argue face camping is a reportable offense, and now you are arguing they never punish for it, which implies that perhaps Pulsar was correct and it isn't a reportable offense. If you just want them to ban for it, I am afraid that will never happen and there is really no use in getting worked up about it.
Like, seriously, how many times to you encounter this? Lol.

LMFAO ok dude keep acting like it's not the same but it is and it is toxic. Keeping someone from playing the game is still what is written in game reporting. They can do it to survivors and they defined it themselves then ignore it. You were planning to undermine me based off experience from the second you asked the first time then bent yourself into pretzels to still run face first into my point. Killers who face aren't penalized and that should change because it is broken like the vaulting was.
Okay, then report them and watch as they get penalized. Totally.

@Zozzy said:
You just asked everyone why they don't lose on purpose.
Why the hell would you play a game just to lose every game for no reason if you would win?
Where is the fun in getting everyone to death hook and then just going afk while they do the last gens because you don't want to rank up?
Where is the fun in doing every gen just to afk at a hook so you don't rank up?
There is no fun beating people who are clearly new or not at your level...
People want the game to be balanced so you can go for 12 individual hooks and have a close game doing so where it comes down to the last gen.
Lol... If you want a "close" game where you 12 hook, it almost certainly explains why you are stuck at high mmr despite being "casual tee hee."

Also I really don't care about campers and tunnelers. I've said it before it's frustrating but those aren't enough to keep me from playing a whole match.
Facers do in fact do that and that's why it's toxic. Players are not supposed to be taking control of a game, they are supposed to be playing it.
Technically the survivors are the ones preventing you from playing. I cannot pull you off hook. Only they can, but they prefer to use you as a tool to play their qte unobstructed. It is sad. But I am polite enough to keep you company while they do it. If anything, I feel that I deserve a bit of a thanks instead of all the insults I get. Big sad.
-
My mmr is really low as survivor. So yeah, lots of new players.
-
I feel like it is self explanatory. You can pressure generators and end chases faster with mobility.

Penalizing them would not stop them either.
We already have a harsh penalty system. You think it works?
BHVR has said they've repeatedly tried and failed to create a suitable system to punish facecamping (and only facecamping) but have found that it allows the Survivors to have way too much power.
If BHVR knows something isn't going to work, it really isn't gonna work.
Ooh, that last line was spicy. If even Behavior thinks this is a lost cause and has no potential to reasonably nerf killers... You know it is bad. They probably committed so many resources to testing all of their ideas too.
-
It is not out yet, but Shadow Step. I already hate it. Immersed survivors are my weakness and now they can sprint while hiding. Great...

Adrenaline activates when the exit gates get powered which only happen if all the gens done or if the hatch gets closed before the gens are done.
Adrenaline will not activate twice in a match.
Your team couldn't finish the gens and you get an adrenaline activation on the hatch close.
Also your clip literally shows there is 1 gen left right before Adrenaline.
Is it too distasteful to let out a "oh, survivors!"
-
I am scared of a Leatherface nerf because he generates the most tears. But they would need to bludgeon him with the nerf hammer, the old way. Because you know, some nerfs are worse than others.
They are already getting rid of my favorite map. Not sure I could handle my favorite killer disappearing too. I guess I would have Nemesis to fall back on.

I certainly hope not. Leatherface is love, Leatherface is life. They should go nerf Pig again. I mean, after this next update, of course.

The footstep dust is not coming. I wouldn't worry about that.

It's frustrating that survivors don't have press to win button. Devs rly need to fix it and give survivors rocket launcher so each time they want to escape they can shoot down killer.
Okay, then make Nemesis a survivor. This would make me and that guy who always complains about Nemesis very happy.

Using claims of enjoyment for a toxic gameplay doesn't help it's case, of course you enjoy it it's almost a guranteed kill.
It's interruptive gameplay and has nothing to do with feelings, it shouldn't be allowed just because killers don't want to work for sacrifices.
I am just helping to correct you. First it was "there is no way anyone enjoys this" and now it is "of course you enjoy this." Now we agree and can move forward. How do we stop this toxicity?!

A possible remedy is forthcoming, who knows what it will entail. Maybe the hook will teleport to a new location if they camp lol
And what would stop me from walking over there and playing tactically at the new hook?

Ok and that was 100% not the point nor the topic.
It's pretending to play the game while preventing someone else from playing. It should be an offense or nerfed because it takes absolutely no skill.
If it wasn't the point or the topic, why bring it up? That is your problem, not mine. Rofl.
Anyways, I digress, it is not pretending to play the game just because you are mad. If I was just pretending, you should really be blaming your survivor buddies for not being able to save against a skilless pretender.

Yeah I can't say that I've ever lost in this scenario, so I was definitely surprised
I have lost a few times as killer and get it as survivor whenever I try.
I started standing on the handle and never lost it to a survivor since. Not sure if that actually has anything to do with it.
-
The perk is named "no one escapes death." Not, "the last one escapes death."

@Eli2020 said:
Hook guarding is really the only thing that needs to go, the others at least you can try and get a fair chance.
I have watched whole teams go down trying to do what you suggest on so many occasions it's not even funny that it's classified as gameplay.
EVEN WITH a purple toolkit geared towards hook sabotage and someone helping pull people off hooks AND the offering that makes then further apart. Iron grip is what gets us there but is a fair perk IF they aren't hook guarding.
It ruins the fun of the game (because there is no way you're gaining enjoyment from standing in one spot and or slapping hooked meat around) and doesn't allow hooked survivors to play at all, which is becoming normal just to save the other three. It's toxic and something should be done about it because it isn't even funny how common it is.
I actually do enjoy beating them on hook, believe it or not.

Never even heard of Propnight.
VHS has potential, but PC only? Eh.
I think they will take away from Dead by Daylight's playerbase... For one week.

yeah its definitely easier with the reset then the previous systern, although I don't play killer much so I was pretty low anyway. But at the same time i just don't know how to get merciless. I kill them to fast, I don't get it. I try to play the game out, I get smoked. I just feel like the games don't last long enough to achieve merciless, or im just not good lol
Once you start looking into how points are awarded for the emblem system, you will realize that people weren't exaggerating when they called the system useless. In fact, they do not stress it nearly enough.
-
If you play killer at high mmr, masochist is definitely one word I would use to describe you.

Latency, I would guess.

Play spirit then!!!
When did killers start caring what survivors thought about their killer selection?
I mean, it sounds like he likes a lot of sus killers but feels forced to one trick Spirit, to me. I doubt it has anything to do with a survivor's opinion so much as the bully beat down he is receiving.

@SleepyWillo said:
I wonder if this is connected to the intermittent chase music I've been having? It wouldn't surprise me if the game detected chases via fresh scratch marks and with them being intermittent the associated chases are considered intermittent?
I have had scratch marks disappear during a continuous chase where I was in LoS about 3 to 5 meters away for a few seconds. There is reasoning with the Scratched Mark God.

I don't find him that annoying as a survivor, or unfair. I actually think he is interesting to vs.
The only killer that I genuinely never have fun going against are twins.
Me too, but I have done years of research and many survivors do not like it, I know this is a shock. Most of them do not like a lot of things. It is those darned teammates holding them back, you know?

@TAG said:
You know, now that I understand how the whole stance thing works (namely that Myers's open/closed hand is not tied to his Tombstone add-ons but rather his speed), I actually do think it's time to look at the Tombstone add-ons. The whole "jump into a locker" thing no longer applies to Judith's Tombstone because now there is no longer an obvious tell in Tier 2 that warns you about Judith's Tombstone, and as it turns out, it never applied to Tombstone Piece in the first place (because you can just 99 while in Tier 2 and then wait until you close the distance to fire up EW3 and go in for the kill).
Maybe an add-on that lets you immediately kill a Survivor unconditionally by fulfilling a requirement isn't a healthy add-on. :P
It is an add on. The entire idea behind them is backwards to begin with. They were made for blood web fodder and to trick people into thinking killers/items were better than they were.

Then maybe pinhead was a step in right direction?
I still see him as weakish tho.
Pinhead is super weird, because I assume most people agree that having a power that is almost certainly useless is annoying on the killer side, whereas the lament configuration being a side objective is annoying on the survivor side. I can only speak for myself, but that design seems not very healthy.
-
You haven't been following the controversy, huh? Blizzard is changing McGee's name because of the incident. It is for the best.
-
You are crazy, survivors wouldn't be able to walk into killers anymore if the FOV wasn't awful. That gets rid of so many amazing and high skill techs.
-
Well, that is literally what happened to Deathslinger, so it is kind of hard to argue with you.

No, the best is running Lightborn and abusing those boosted rats.

It will probably be nerfs. Maybe they will give him a lullaby to make his undetectable pointless. He will probably be able to be revealed after x number of seconds instead which will guarantee you can reveal him while running away. And also his one shot will probably force you to be in stealth mode.
My official predictions.

No... He really didn't, unless by changes you mean potential buffs for a mid at best killer.

But then again, maps are only a part of the problem, not the entire problem.
Second chances do nothing for if survivors have nowhere to go. Perks and items are common complaints, but, no offense intended, people aren't seeing the bigger picture.

Toolboxes and flashlights with paid cosmetics is usually a dead giveaway. Not always, obviously. But most of them I run into are like that. And they hate Lightborn and Agitation. Let me tell you, it is like they never see it coming.

Bamboozle is underrated on him. People who hate on Bamboozle are the ones getting bamboozled by survivors. Its the truth.
Now I am a memer, so I run fire up too. Do I recommend it to others? Well, yes... But actually no.
