No! They ruined Honeybee David. Why? He was perfect...

Killers getting nerfed again. What a complete none surprise.
Speak for yourself, I totally never expected another killer nerf. There wasn't a staggering amount of precedent to clue us in. This was extremely surprising.
-
It just depends on the time of day. Killers are more like the nightshift role, and survivor is easier to find a game during the day, at least in my experience.
-
Do you want to be forced to board Noah's arc to avoid the survivor main tears by buffing NOED to that extreme?

I still play as her
Nice, I miss going against her, and now she has the jamming tunes to bop to while you get chased. I miss her.

@Shaped said:
Maybe she can teleport to a crow.
That would be sick. Lowkey kind of broken, but I can dig it.
-
I told you the complaints weren't going to stop, fam. I have literally no idea how people are even getting in games with her enough to still whine about Spirit.
-
Eh, I enjoy teleporting... But I feel Demogorgon and Freddy have it covered. Unless her teleports were unique in that they couldn't be removed, I suppose.
-
They might just be really bad at killer. At low mmr, the game is just as broken, just the opposite direction.

How is camping more interesting than a long chase? Yeah I'd rather chase than camp.
I don't take the game that serious
Personal opinion.
I wouldn't say it is more interesting so much as sometimes you need to slow the game down.
-
No, they need to buff Leatherchad. Give him a passive where the people bleed out on hook twice as fast.

"a win is now 2k", no, wrong!, a win for the killer is now not get tilted, frustrated and depressed after a game.
I am basically undefeated.

Nah, hit validation was worse.

Wraith, only tracking perks of which any other tracking perks are better.
Absolutely. He is the only killer I have at level 30 and plan to keep that way until the very end of my grind for that reason, more or less. To be fair, the only reason I have Deathslinger at 35 was specifically to search for BBQ on him. I guess he would be 30 as well, otherwise.
-
In my death squad SWF (just kidding, we are anything but), we all (3 players) escape pretty often. Or more accurately would, if I wanted to. I usually just give the killer a kill. Maybe four out of five games are potential escapes.
Solo queue, I am not going to lie, it is really bad. Like, maybe one in three games I can escape.
-
It reminds me of Scorpion. I would totally use it.

Right there have been alot of times survivors would loop me AROUND the hook. They dont try to lure me away they just loop near the hook. One time that happened the survivor died on the hook, at the end game chat all the other survivors accused me of camping. When I said you guys wanted to loop me around the hook, their reaponse....well you should of just let us un hook them so you were camping....
I hate entitled survivor mains like that.....
You should have said you would have let them, but they never tried.

yeah. Maybe a perk/passive that makes it so your hook status doesn't decrease/decreases considerably slower while the killer is within 4/8/12 Meters? Maybe you could actually get more time when you get hit on hook as a bit of a meme.
I would love the timer slowing down as I beat them on hook. Why has nobody suggested this before? It is amazing, and if you do not want more time, you just don't smash their face with the hammer. Easy.
-
Definitely Badham. No idea what they were thinking with that one.
-
Killer is more fun to me because I do not need to rely on teammates. But survivor is still quite enjoyable when you just want to chill. I mean, I chill with killer. But I mean, like, I can throw the game and still escape.
-
My bad, bro. I have to roll the dice on Slippery Meat and I am a No Mither gigachad. Those don't mix well together.
-
Revert hit validation, fire whoever suggested it, blacklist anyone who worked on it, ban any mention of hit validation from the studio and all would be well with the world.
-
I am more satisfied playing as a martyr than actually escaping. One, two, three? I have saved all sorts with my expert Nancy techniques.
-
You eviscerated them... No wonder they mad.
-
Use Bubba. I promise you will get at least one of them.

Honestly, I just dodge any .TTV lobbies I come across.
99% of the time, they are - at the very least - smurfing. Sandbagging their MMR on off-times so that they look better in games they stream. There is no reason why I should be getting matched with SWFs with 10x my time played. Either I'm going to get stomped, or I'm going to have a game where 3-4 of the survivors are either AFK or running to me and suiciding on hook.
They are also frequently BM as all hell, and if you end up beating them you get weird friend requests and messages from their viewers. Ended up making my profile private after this happened previously.
I've seen a lot of other killers saying the same thing.
Not always. A lot of the times the TTV is genuinely that bad, I have smoked most of them that I run into. I kind of get why you would believe they would be decent if they stream the game to others... But, it is often not the case, believe it or not.
No idea about the friend thing. I am on console. So, that never really happened to me.

I am dying for new realms! It's been way too long; I can't believe we will only get two new maps in 24 months. This community is very resilient because many games would die with such a map drought. I hope the rumors about getting The Abbey of St. Carta from The Nun as a new map are true.
Nah, plenty of games do well without adding maps. The characters are what kill games. Once developers get fruity and think we need no more new killers, that is when the game will actually die.

No. I refuse to give in to this bullshit. ######### MMR. ######### unbalanced maps. ######### gen speeds. The mind set should not be "Well..I get what I get"
The maps, gen speeds. Should be fair. I should feel like I have a FAIR chance to do well every match.
Not "welp this map is bullshit and these survivors know how to abuse it"
You probably do well. You just aren't used to what the new well is.

Scooby-Doo... The Mystery Gang needs to be added. I would buy them all Behavior. Lots of money is good, yes? Then, like, you know what to do!

You know, back in the day, I would have been against this idea...
But now that DS is legitimately an anti-tunnel perk, I'd be fine with a guaranteed DS if they manage to get it off, no skill check needed.
I would be down with it if it was genuinely an anti tunnel perk and not a stun on a timer.

What does it matter that an exhaustion perk is better than Dead Hard? Pure killer mains and some survivor mains will still complain and try to think of a way to make another exhaustion perk better than whatever beat Dead Hard so that people will stop running that new exhaustion perk.
I personally hate hit validation. I couldn't care less what killer or survivor mains want to use as their exhaustion so much as I am over hit validation and Dead Hard has those attributes.

Honestly just using the old realms with new building as a new map, I would be still happy.
If you compare between Cursed Legacy & Chain of hate. Both came with 1 Killer, 1 Survivor and a new map. But CL had much less work since they reuse Yamaoka realm, the only new thing was the main building. CoH map was a completely new realm with far complicating layout.
Blight with new Red forest map, Twin with new Crotus map...thats my simple wish.
I prefer less of that, I get so tired of the same back drops. It makes me dislike a lot of maps I otherwise wouldn't mind. Especially when I see what the game used to be. They ruined the beautiful Japanese maps with the nasty Badham color pallet. It makes me sad just thinking about it.

@ChurchofPig said:
They legit already added 2 seconds on the timer because of how it activates, now you want another? I think I'll pass. Besides, people don't realize the massive head start you get on a killer if it activates. A killer has to go through the stun animation and break the pallet/run around it in order to keep chasing you. Moving at 150% movement speed, you should be getting much farther then usual, making it take longer for the killer to catch up if they even keep chasing you.
Why not though? Wouldn't you rather people run that as their exhaustion perk over Dead Hard? Not that it would do much as most killers will probably just drop chase if this one activates.

Devs and most of the playerbase doesn't care about cheaters. I got insulted in post-game chat for not being able to kill an obvious cheater by both the cheater and the other survivors in the lobby.
The other survivors were probably with the cheater to be fair.

It feels so much better to not torture yourself by playing sweaty. Play the way that truly makes you happy. To quote one of my favorite fantasy authors "Journey before destination".

You shouldn't let morons that'll get mad no matter what live rent free in your head, that's the only suggestion I can give you. Their reaction has nothing to do with how you've played, there's no logic and no sense.

A lot of people jump to your defence of killers should do anything in their power to win... this is a really bad mindset. I hold the same view for survivors. There should be pre set rules for both sides and the game should punish people for not following them. I know a lot of people are going to say "Do whatever you need to win." That is such an awful mindset.
Lets say every player held that view, ok so every match will be the same 3 killers with the same perks using the same strategy going up against the same survivor perk. That sounds awful. I know a lot people are going to say "most people run the meta already." Exactly, it is because so many people hold this mindset that the game has become so unplayable. Doing all the gens in 4 minutes, wow fun game, killer abandons the match to camp somebody to death, yeah tones of un.
This game is being refined more and more and because of this this game is only going to be come worse. Do you know the best method to counter corrupt intervention? It is for all 4 players to hide for the first 3 minutes of a match. Just wait it out and only start doing the objective once it is gone. The killer will be checking the gens that are not corrupted, the won't go to the corner of the map with corrupt, so you are really unlikely to counter him. As a survivor you have no actual reason to start until corrupt is gone, imagine if every survivor did this, and considering corrupt is meta, imagine if most matches played out like that, does that seem like a fun game to you?
The truth is most players (I'm not saying you) but most players could not care if a match is balanced or not. Survivors are getting demolished, ez win, 3 generators before the first hook, EZ win. The majority of this community only cares when it affects them.
As for your point on wraith, he needed a nerf. What was happening was survivors were being forced to either drop the pallet and wraith breaks it with his increased break speed or save the pallet and the wraith would beat the survivor around basically any loop. All the change did was mean you actually have to learn to counter/ mind game loops instead of being able to easily get cheap hits. A"s for nurse, I mean what do you expect? She is the hardest to play but the most rewarding. So no wonder she has a low kill rate, unskilled players can't use her, but the experienced players will easily dominate most matches. That is a perfect killer.
You dislike meta, and then defend a Wraith nerf. I think that is a bigger issue than anything you wrote. You literally just ignore the contradiction to justify your cherry picked attitude.

The sad truth, to me, is that hit validation exists. And people pretend that it is okay because they added entity blockers. Lol.
-
Do not worry, I make them suffer so much that they ragw quit even when in a swf. Rofl.

Just vommy mommy things, I thought this was a survivor validation thread and ended disappointed.

Honestly wasnt many doors on that map lol, iv body blocked alot before in the past and it has sometimes worked to help them alive but sometimes we still all die or I'm left on the hook and the team doesn't want to "repay the favour" if you will.
I probably should of asked gens, or body block? Which is better? So people dont think I just want praise lol
Every survivor worth their salt knows the holy generators are always the answer. 🙏
-
Never. Unless you count those lobbies where someone leaves before the game loads. In which case, maybe one out of every 5 when I am survivor. As killer, maybe one in 20. No idea why there is such a huge discrepancy there as killers are not usually the ones chasing the lobby when I am on survivor.

Well I was debating to take those hits etc. But i know no one was really doing gens and wanted to progress the match.
Maybe if it wasnt blight I could body block and they can hold W but he catches up fast. Like I did distract him at times but he really wouldn't chase me.
I expected us all to die tbh, hatch was just luck and means little to me. Maybe I should of tried to protect them more but I wouldn't of known how to begin that game tbh it was an odd one lol
Yeah, that is true. Some of them just don't have it and you need to basically cut them off and block a door just to take a hit. Been there and done that. That is why context is important. I hate it when my sister gets tunneled out and will not just take a hit, but let him hook me to get them to leave her alone. But even then, the more relentless of them will just slug and move on. Literally nothing you can do about it.
-
Nah, I prefer easier games without listening to toxic teammates.
-
Because we clearly need vault validation to increase the number of survivor mains.

So why so much hate? Answer that for me lol. My team was a 3man swf so maybe times have changed, they wanted me to stop doing gens and body block. Should I? Curiosity my dude, maybe there was a flaw in my play but it's hard to know your own mistakes unless proven wrong.
I assume from the comment you dont like the post. That's fine, you didnt have to read but this is a place for discussions and I'm curious if I should of done things different
If you are paired with a group in ANY game, you will be the odd man out. I would need a bit more context, but you said yourself they struggled in chase, maybe a body block would have helped them out a bit. Sounds like you didn't even get hooked and everyone else died. I would have considered you as a garbage teammate if that happened regardless of your medals. But I wouldn't send you a message or anything.
-
If you want to win against high mmr survivors, you need to play quite mean. Tunnel, face camp, slug... the works. I think that is actually more important than killer choice to be quite honest. I have seen plenty of low tier killers 4k at high mmr. It is not just Nurse/Blight that are viable. Maybe they are the best if you play nice, or whatever. But they are far from mandatory if you want to win.
-
I have used it a few times (like literally 3). My sister got a clutch hatch escape after I hook traded for her on Saloon.
As killer? Yeah, I do not think anyone has escaped via hatch against me yet.
-
I felt so bad, I was on my last game of survivor for the night and found my red glyph extremely early. So I wanted to just end it, had my Slippery Meat and Ante Up at the ready. I found the Myers, teabagged him. He took the opportunity to stalk me for what I was worth.
Long story short, apparently it was Tombstone... And some random died for my sins and I ended up escaping because opening the gates would have been faster than dying to him. Rofl.
