Hopefully we get a Perk that blocks Totems much the way Corrupt Blocks Gens.
That is actually a really good idea. It would address half the complaints killers have about hex perks. I am glad I clicked this thread, I had a feeling there would be some good ones.

I agree. Camping should have never been acceptable in this game. I'm dumbfounded by who ever made that decision... all around it's terrible, spreads negativity and only benefits one player. Who really thought it was a good idea to say that's ok? Really? 🤔
The game would be pretty unplayable if camping were not okay, the level of aura reading they would need to add to base kit to justify that wouldn't even be worth the change, survivor's would hate the game without camping a lot more than the game with camping, imo.

Then make a better Resident Evil map.
RPD is so big and convoluted that it could almost be split into two maps on it's own.
As it stands, it's probably the worst map in the game. And with Badham and Haddonfield existing, that's saying something.
It is all subjective, but there is just no way it is as bad as Badham. I would rather be forced to play RPD for 3 games every session than play Badham once every 3 play sessions.

This is kind of "opinion" I was not asking, especially not from a killer main who has never played soloQ in his life and has no idea what this thread is about.
I've stated clearly about the "hatch game": if two survivors remain with some gens left, it's nearly impossible for both of them to escape. It's either 4k or 3k with a hatch. If I happen to be the one who is not downed, of course I'll go for the hatch.
Some killers who have no idea what is happening the whole game say "i was hiding the whole game", even though I was doing gens the whole game and only was hiding when the last survivor was downed. "You were just hiding all game" is an obvious lie you tell yourself as a killer who often happens to cooperate with troll sandbaggers selling their teammates in order to justify his position. Because the rule states "working with the opposing team", so theoretically the killer can be banned for this too.
I actually believe they once stated that only survivors were punished for that. The killer would likely not be punished unless their stance changed recently.

Yes, all m1 attacks are the same. So Freddy's claws are technically the same as Oni's sword.

In 2300 hours I can count the amount of times a survivor has given me a pity kill (like a clearly obvious "I'll let you kill me because you had a bad game.) on the hand of a man who lost several fingers. Meanwhile "GIMMIE THE HATCH" is borderline considered the norm for the last survivor and people get angry if you decide to hook them instead. It's especially bad for Pig since everyone thinks you're an epic memer.
True, I know how it is. When I was new to the game, only one survivor ever gave me a free kill. That is it, to this day, he was the only one which is why it is so easy to remember.
I usually give them kills, but purposely pretend to be stupid. Like looping a tile when I should just go to the exit gate. I find if you just walk up and stare at them, they don't want it. But some of them know, and send me messages thanking me, which makes me feel bad.
-
@SunsetSherbet said:
That's why you don't try to play nice with the enemy team. There will never be appreciation for it.
Not true, I always appreciate nice killers and give them the kill at the end of the match, if they want it. They usually don't, for whatever reason. They just massacre my homies and are chill with me doing whatever.
-
To counter circle of healing, just tunnel. That is easy.
The other one? Let me know when you figure it out.
-
How should we know? They just make this stuff up as they go along, clearly.

They are so toxic they have you crying. I can see the tears on your face, boi.

I am a Nancy one trick with the Rose Cardigan drip. Watch out killers, this kitty has claws and I will run you at least half a gen if I use every pallet. You have been warned.
-
I am honestly a bit mad they stole all my offerings and gave me a game and a halves worth of BP to compensate. Shady snake oil salesman.
-
It is because you are killing them. Believe it or not, that IS your skill level. The average survivor is just that bad.
-
Those ones are weird. Something in the water? It is defective? Who knows, best to just pretend they do not exist,
-
They need to revert hit validation period. Or at least add vault validation to be consistent and make it clear they don't care.
-
I mean, you literally camped them and one hooked them in the basement, no? Like, I am all for it, bro, but they weren't wrong. By your own admission that is what you did. Your rebuttal should have been "gg ez, baby survivors." Not "so in order to not camp, I need to go cross map?" LOL.
-
I used to hate Decisive more, but after survivor validation, Dead Hard... No contest. Would rather all 4 had DS than one Dead Hard, but who are we getting, I get to deal with 4 of each. Yay!

I wouldn't, if I were you, someone here was banned for having excessive bloodpoints even though the support team was the one who gave him the bloodpoints. Just spend them and call it a day.

Killers:

- Springtrap (DON'T COME AT ME OK)
- Candyman

Survivors:
- Lara Croft

- Kim Kardashian
This is basically my exact list except for Kim Kardashian. But now you made me want her. So... Yeah, this is my list. Thanks for going through the effort of typing it so I didn't have to.
-
Oh, that was you? Thanks for the free escape buddy. We thought about saving you, but since you stole my hex BP, we decided to dip. See you in the fog!
-
Wow... Those controllers sound like they are somehow a cheaper quality than the Sony ones. I am shocked.

Survivor has got to be easier. I see people with hundreds of hours dying quickly. Buff maps so it's easier to escape killers. It's impossible for new players. The killer can also track too easily. If the job for killer has been made easy so it needs to be easier for survivor.
I actually unironically agree with this. The game is very killer sided at low mmr, extremely. I think Kindred and Windows of Opportunity (while in chase) should be base kit. I also think they should add a warning noise when someone's hook stage is getting close. All of that wouldn't even be enough, quite frankly, but I would be concerned about buffing survivors too excessively for the sake of new players. Just basic information would go a long way in solo queue.

Before SBMM, though, red rank averaged at 65%+ kill rate, so that'll probably still not show what people want to see.
Well, yeah, before mmr. It was kind of a big change. And if the kill rate is still 65% plus, that would be nice to know.
-
I just got Iridescent survivor and I am sad to lose the cool red symbol that I worked relatively hard for... I just played in a SWF, actually. But still!
-
Nerf BBQ too. The blood points give killers more access to broken add ons, like Alchemist Ring.
-
Just play how you want to, you will never reason with the unreasonable. If you want to 2 hook everyone and let them go, do it. If you want to bleed all 4 of them out while teabagging, do it. Your choice, not theirs.
-
To be real with you, while Shadow Step exists, I do not care about Circle of Healing at all. Like, I prefer they run it if they are going to run a boon.

I can’t imagine how Bubba’s can get nearly max bloodpoints for camping.
When you face camp the first and last out of the game, rofl. Not that I would know...
-
It has mostly just been killer nerfs the past few months, and I doubt the trend changes too much. We are only just getting started. We still need vault validation. I am waiting on it.

Personally I wish they adressed both things in one big update like let's say when they introduced the EndGameCollapse (I can't remember if they even announced it so for me it came out of nowhere).
Would be really nice if they did a stream and were like:
"hello gamers so here's a new mechanic that will make it so you can't get facecamped (insert happy survivor noises here) and at the same time here's a new mechanic that slows down gen progression in a fun way for both sides (insert happy killer noises here)"
Nah, I need my face camping to feel whole. They can keep their gen speeds, I prefer the magic.
-
Not going to lie, every body block I have ever had, I give up after a couple minutes of survivors not opening the gate. Lol. It was funny for like a minute, and then I commit to the meme... But I am not patient enough to follow through.
-
I would like them to add a forfeit option after 10 minutes of play so that, at the very least, they are unable to take the lobby hostage. I do not mind playing against cheaters. I mind when the game doesn't end in a timely manner. I am not asking them to fix the problem, I just want a fail safe workaround. Is that truly too much to ask?
-
Not going to lie, the survivor rule book was a better read.

You know it’s gonna be a rough match when you load in to a no mither teammate.
As the no mither teammate, I am about to have a rough match too. It is only fair that my team should share in the sweet suffering.

i dont know exactly what are u complaining about,
are u talking about playing well and coordinated? is that the thing toxic for u? are u dumb?... in wich game being good is actually toxic? i never heard such much bullshit before, people like to call everything toxic without even knowing what toxicity is. toxicity is having a dumbo survivor with a macro flashlight being f* annoying all game, thats toxic, toxic is also t-bag and disrespect the killer at any given chance (cause the killer cant do anything in that especific moment), thats toxic.
just very few things in this game are toxic, playing well is not one of them. is just that SWF wont let u stomp them they will put a fight and most likely will beat u (if they are good enough), solos can be extremely toxic (actions, gameplay with macros, t-bags) but awful players (dont know how to spread the pressure, looping, coordinate unhooks properly, etc, so makes no sense this post...
Why are you being so toxic, bro. Chill.

O.K, I thought you just had to activate the perk, so I played a game where I got one hook, memed for a bit, and then let everyone go (except for one jokester who got killed in EGC trying to get hatch).
That happened to me today... Only I wasn't looking for hatch. I didn't check the exit gates. Rofl...
My sister joked that I am probably the only survivor who unintentionally died during EGC when the killer let everyone go.

Her new changes didn't do anything. She's still too strong and dominating the meta. I honestly think rbt shouldn't kill survivors at all anymore because they're too rng related. That'd add some consistency.
That bug was the best thing added to this game, just make it a feature across all reverse bear traps and she would finally, maybe, be balanced.
-
@Crowman said:
You can absolutely make changes that affect different skill levels since not everything is equally strong at all skill levels.
For example, BHVR could nerf sabotage which would basically not affect solo or low skill survivor players.
BHVR can and should make changes to make all skill levels fair, but they currently do not.
As a low skill survivor, leave my sabotage alone.

5 gen chase may be fun for you, but let me tell you gen sim aint fun for anyone else. That is why I dont understand that mindset 😂 be a cool survivor, share your chases ;)
You think I want to be chased? Lol. I am just defending myself, bro. The killer was coming right for me! I am not one of those weird survivors who refuses body blocks. By all means...
Killers just hate me for some reason. My douchebag energy radiates through the screen and they won't stop until I am dead.

@Hannacia said:
Gen speeds are an issue as well. Have you ever noticed how many nowdays use prove thyself? What about items like brand new parts? Some perks are now overbuffed that gives you your toolbox back. 2 people doing the same gen and some prove thyself to the mix and boom its done in no time.
Map sizes are a bigger issue i agree, but i wouldnt say the gens are problem free.
I still try to play fair but i have started to tunnel more..i hate it but if i dont all i see is survivors tea bagging me at the exit gates calling me noob and learn to play without it.
To be fair, they would probably teabag you regardless. Survivors just love to do it, even in the face of defeat. Nothing can stop those twerking lunatics.

MMR is hidden for a reason to not encourage sweaty playstyle. Because if you don't know what your current mmr number you don't work hard to gain higher number.
But for some reason I keep seeing that people on the forum playing to win even if it's going harder and harder instead of play in comfortable style with any killers in comfortable niche.
They have their competence needs to be fulfilled. And this game used to validate them, they don't understand that those days are gone.
-
He does most of my favorite voices! Wow.
-
Leatherface is very good at making them lose the will to play, the only killer I have better luck with is Twins.
-
It depends on how good the Trickster is. If he lands all his knives in 2 seconds flat, me no have much fun. If I can run him for 5 gens, yes... Very fun to play against.
-
Bubba is r teh stronkest boi.
But seriously, he is good. Really good.
-
Tombstone is really only unfair when you use it on that one survivor who you never stalked and they are the first dead, but that is also peak comedy.
-
I just feel like the recoil should be the opposite. Instead of acting like a Desert Eagle and ramping up his speed. He should slow down and the arc should increase downward as he gets tired of throwing all those knives at rapid speed. It would have the same effect of making him bad, but also make more sense.
-
Yes, I have seen a lot more survivors sandbagging each other. From both perspectives. Albeit, my mmr is low. So they might just be bad.
