Unfortunately it's become a culture.
A quick search of YouTube. Pages and pages of results for videos to the style of "MAKING THE KILLER QUIT LOL!!!".
What these scholars don't understand is that they're turning people away from the game. But it's all worth it to spoil someone else's experience and make a video with a thumbnail of hilariously distorted smiling survivor.
If one of these individuals knows they can purposely irritate online...they will.
And it is even more pathetic that they throw down to low mmr for content. Or smurf, whatever.

Wait, really? How so lol
It presumably reads your inputs. Most ai do that in games, but they try to mask it to make them feel less mechanical.

I fully agree with this
Micheal Myers in DBD is from the first movie as the DLC was released in 2016. The original film is legendary and that's why i think it's the one that should be adapted from. He is not the micheal myers from any the newer films.
I would welcome a graphical rework and outfits portraying him in the later films but his gameplay design in my opinion is perfect and he's the killer i have had the most fun with.
Haddonfield could use an update for sure.
The perk designs are all fine in my opinion.
I feel like the design of play with your food is dreadful. It is like a modern Yugioh card description. Condition on top of condition for a speed boost you lose whether you take advantage of it or not, big yikes from me.

We're calling boons second chance perks now are we?
No, I meant they would never drop one of their precious meta perks to run a boon. I wish they would when I play survivor. My teammates don't need a second chance, they are a lost cause. But me? I have escaped some pretty dire situations thanks to the safety of a boon.
-
Well, those are the best games to tunnel. I brought a cake for the first time since anniversary after I swore them off because of gen rushing betas. This time, I got my revenge. Relatively speaking. 2 kills and the two people who got away were on death hook. Only one made it because of an Unbreakable/ Decisive play that somehow lasted long enough for me to chase someone cross map and kill them. It was probably only a few seconds from fading which would have been an easy 3k if I was patient. Or if unbreakable didn't exist, I guess.
The lesson I learned, I am never going to bring cakes for survivors again (wish I learned it the first time). The test run failed and I am swearing it off completely unless we get a bloodhunt. It is crazy to see how much I have improved since then.
-
If they get abused, sure. But survivors need 4 second chances. So probably not.

More survivors in the basement=happy booba.
Less=random tantrums.
That is such a mood.

I genuinely do not care how survivors feel about it. They don't care about how I feel. It is what it is. Best you can do is play how you want to play. If I want to bleed all 4 out with Twins, that is what is going down. I bet those survivors wish I would just face camp them. Lol.
-
I can go out of my way to participate as I literally never do that. It would be so out of my comfort zone, but I am willing to make that sacrifice.
-
Bubba with iron grasp and agitation stops basically all troll survivors. They still try, but it is mostly really sad.

And then they introduce DC penalty and make suicide take longer, as if they knew beforehand what would start happening after all those innovations and tried to block any way solo survivors could escape the nightmare.
Those might technically improve the solo queue experience.
-
After hit validation? I very much doubt you actually play killer and playing it for like one game would give you your answer. I say that as someone who defended Dead Hard myself prior to this update.

I can't speak for everyone, but for many of us, it's not about being rude unless it was earned. Many of us wait to make sure everyone is safe before leaving. We don't want to leave until we know all three others are making it out. We can't go back and help if they're downed then
If all four are at the gate, we will try for some more heal points, but we leave once we're set, regardless of what you do.
Oh, yeah, I have no beef with those survivors. I get it, and pushing them out feels interactive. I am talking about when I open a gate myself after letting them finish gens, and they see the others already left at the other exit gate. Believe it or not, they exist and it is not an uncommon occurrence. Some of them even teabag, although THAT is rare.

A win for me is:
- If I had fun.
- If I have 4 BBQ stacks from a boring game.
- If I get my teammates out from a boring game.
Same, I ran an Oni for around 4 gens, don't be too impressed, it was on the Game and I used like every pallet (and actually got hooked, but I am a Slippery meat gamer, so the fun didn't end there). Anyways, someone got caught and I didn't have borrowed, he was face camping. I waited around him while the two stack finished the last gen right above us near a hole where they could drop down to the hook, and then they came to help... I started trying to get the Oni's attention to get him to leave, he wouldn't.
Then... The two just started running to the exit gate. It was kind of weird, but whatever, they did everything together that game. I was using the come here emote just in case they were planning on leaving AND... They left
I had to martyr myself to get that Dwight out. He didn't want to leave me, he stayed crouched in my honor while I struggled. It made the whole game worth it even if it was pretty frustrating.

@Hannacia said:
I mean the best way to stop TeaBagging at the gates is to NOT go to the gates as the killer.
Thats what i do. I let the sad survivors wait at the gates and hit their butts to the floor while i watch youtube or read something or do ANYTHING but go to the gates. If they want to waste their time slamming that butt to the floor go for it, im not going to come look at it :)
I only do that on maps like Dead Dawg or Midwich where I can play Wreck it Ralph. Otherwise I want out of the game and just push them out. Save myself a few minutes.
Survivors are so rude that even when you 2 hook everyone, no camping or tunneling, and let them all escape purposely they will STILL force you to walk across the map just to watch them leave at the other exit gate they went to without giving a free hit. If they are THAT dedicated to staying, it is really best to just let them have it and move on, in my opinion.

Thats what I ended up doing, only reason I was greedy was I wanted to get a challenge done involving killing survivors. I really hate those challenges as they honestly arent that fun. I was able to get them all down luckily and finished my challenge. I'm perfectly fine with a 2k or even less in a normal scenario but when it involves challenges that require things like hooking or killing. I want to get them done quickly as I dont get to play the game much due to work and other things.
I learned the hard way that bleeding them out doesn't count and needed to play an extra game. It made me very sad.

Except in his scenario, he can't "lose" regardless. He already has half of them dead. One or two might escape, but he's already snuffed out two people. You can't call that a straight loss.
I just meant he would lose the generators regardless if he didn't take a chase.

Same, but I didn't think it would be this bad y'know
I did. They were a hit disingenuous about how hit validation worked at pallets. So I figured this would be hell. Now all we need is vault validation and the game can truly be as they envisioned!

Twins aren't the only Killers being affected by the new DH change
Not to be rude, but I hardly needed a video to figure out that hit validation being applied to Dead Hard was bad for killers. Rofl.
-
Ideally you commit, down them, snuff the totem if it is nearby (on indoor maps, might not be worth looking for) and keep them slugged while you go for the last. You risk unbreakable, but it is better than a war of attrition that you would likely lose regardless.

He's a ranged machine gun. Doesn't do much damage per shot(like huntress) but doesn't need to be anywhere near as accurate. I personally enjoy spamming knives with him.
Only change I'd make is to make showstopper completely under you control on when to use. Stupid that it can come up when it's useless and just be wasted.
I like the idea, I really do, but he would be a face camping menace if he could hold main event. I guess it would be fine if Bubba is fine, but I assume that is their concern.

Yup. Survivors haven't been nerfed at all in all these years. They haven't made numerous changes that drastically affect looping or just add more killers that have abilities to just shoot right over a pallet or through walls. Nope. Kill rates weren't in the ballpark of "most people die horribly every game." Nope. Not at all.
Different year, same garbage. "I can't 4k every game with every killer while afk. Plez nrf survs."
And hopefully they add a ranged one shot that ignores pallets next. Would be great.

I like agitation depending on the killer I am playing. Brutal strength can be okay-ish if you are playing Wraith with his break pallet/vault window addon's but other than that a pretty weak perk. And his 3rd perk I completely forget the name because it's absolute #########.
I use brutal on a lot of m1 killers, with enduring. I use agitation on my big boi Bubba. It helps a lot to get them to the basement. I do not consider either particularly strong, but they feel good.

I have a bit of whiplash, fam. I already knew the game was heavily survivor sided when getting into it, but to see all of the recent changes, I am just like, "damn, homie!" I underestimated their commitment to the cause, but they have proven to me that they can go even further beyond.

The mobile version has a much better economy than the main one, they even get free shards for the events. It's because a separate team within BHVR is responsible for the mobile version, and I think all the competent devs are there, so none were left for the main team.
People often complain about the BP grind, but the shard grind is INFINITELY worse. It is actually ironically the main thing keeping the BP grind reasonable for new players. You can't enter hell if you do not have enough perks to fall into the inner circles. Lol.

I had one where I searched for him for a good 30 seconds after he messed up a locker jump with BBQ before finally finding him and after I killed him, he accused me of hacking. Like, bro, if I was hacking, I wouldn't have wasted 30 seconds pretending to not know where you were. I would just snatch you like a weave.

Nah, I would prefer placing it where I want it placed instead.

I do not mind the Game or Ormond too much, personally. But I see what you are saying and agree wholeheartedly.

I'm kind of the reverse. Blighted Pyramid Head is a dream come true and that sharp contrast looks absolutely sick. Love his greatsword and the trickles of blight down his boots. I'm very tempted to get it and I don't even like playing Pyramid Head. Nemesis is cool, and it occurs to me that his power tiering up and the visual effect it creates is really on point now, but... this is a dumb gripe, but his feet look really stupid to me. I can't get over that. It looks like he's wearing blight slippers. Add in that they didn't really do anything with the lower half of his coat (the top with the tubes overflowing with blight is hella cool) and it's just top half awesome, bottom half dumb for me.
I'm with you on Frankenstein Doc, though. I'm not quite vibing with it, though more options is always neat, and hey, I'll always take a free cosmetic. And Mikaela looks fantastic. I'm never taking off that witch hat - though whoa does her face look different from her base model.
Gee, thanks, I will never unsee those blighted slippers now. Lol.

they are too stubborn What will the future be like?
You don't see all of the anti mmr threads? They are almost as common as tunneling and camping threads nowadays.
But yeah, I think we are committed to this. They will obviously make adjustments as we go, but the general idea of the mmr is here to stay.

Every killer is toxic until proven otherwise. And toxic killers deserve to have their BM returned back to them. So yeah, you should ALWAYS teabag the killer unless he gave you a hatch or something.
I am toxic and still give hatch. So???

Apparently the speed is the same. The animation or sound is bugged right now. So it just feels like trash, it is not actually as bad as it feels.
-
I just wanted classic Nemesis. So I bought the 10 dollar auric cell pack. But it wasn't classic Nemesis. He is still using a trash bag to cover his goodies.
The free skins are lit. I am wondering if I should spend my shards on Mikaela or keep going in my conquest to unlock all killers. I am just missing Spirit, Oni, and Clown. But the new one will be coming soon... So, I am kind of screwed regardless.

Does smacking people on hooks even do anything? I figured killers do it to relieve frustrations lol
The first hit mutes their scream, especially useful against Steve unless you love his scream, which I do. I never interrupt it except for that one time I messed up and I still regret it to this day.
Otherwise, I sometimes do it to bait people into saving as the animation locks you long enough for them to safely rescue, but it is a trap because I just down the person they saved with my chainsaw so I didn't need to wait the full minute to advance a hook stage.
But yeah, I mostly use it to BM survivors who irritate me. Flashlight and Sabo clowns, mainly.
-
Eh. They happen sporadically. I would agree that the vast majority feel like I am just way better or that they are out the door before I do any damage. It kind of depends, I have had some super fair and fun 1v1s, though. That is actually what I enjoy a lot more than 4v1 play.

On controller his aiming is horrific. I tried throwing knives at very close range only to have like half of them miss even though I was looking directly at the Survivor. I was in complete shock over how bad he actually is.
I thought everyone was overexaggerating about his recoil, and then I tested it in a game where 2 people DC'd and I felt bad, so I was going to just let them go. The knives are never centered and the recoil is basically like the old MW3 Desert Eagle. Lawd almighty everything made so much sense retroactively.

Trickster daddy is my fav killer to go against. its people who seem to not be good at dodging his knife think his op and he is not, heck I even do crazy things to a trickster by running right at his face and spin around him if he wants to throw knifes lol and he miss so many or even runs out and have no choice but to whack me 2 times. For me personally who love to go against him and learning him, he seem decent but I would not mind a buff to him if others think he needs it.
Yeah, I went knife only for the rift challenges and once survivors noticed, they were chasing me. I had to Mayweather my way through the challenge.

^ this, solo queue is hell, you either die on first hook and survivors decide not to do anything besides escaping.
Solo queue is worse than before.
Bro, I was going for Slippery meat memes with the luck perk and you know what happens? People kill themselves on hook and ruin my stacks. I have to purposely farm them and go down in their place just to have a chance with Lady luck. It is insane.
-
Nah, they are just designed that way. You need to already be facing a wall and even then, they can sometimes still stun you.
-
And he will stay that way as long as survivor mains consider him to be OP.
Yes, he is definitely a lost cause. This was his tome, and they ain't help a homie out unless you consider nerfing Slinger to help him find his niche a bit better. Rofl.

I mean, playing a tunnel and camp style was always more effective. Boons change nothing in that regard.

That achievement is literally why I will never go for all achievements in this game. I am not about to become a cross map Tomahawk Huntress one trick for however long that would take.
Then again, I never wanted to get Evil Incarnate as it sounded hard, and I got it first try. So you never know. Once I set my mind to something, it usually gets done. But imma need more than a bit of pixie dust to hype myself up for this behemoth of a task.
I can land hatchets from decently far. But I just don't have the patience to do it 100 times not knowing whether a hit counted or not. Props to you for sticking with it.
