Him wittle tentacle is ready for that recipe.

I had this bug twice. Once I hit tantrum while dropping from the building in MacMillan Estate as I hit a pipe on the way down, the survivor was downed. The other time, it just disabled after I kept revving the chainsaw, and then I stopped as I decided to commit to an M1.
The fuel counter says zero and the bar is completely filled.

But then there's the issue of removing clutch escapes where survivors are slugged and some may manage to crawl all the way out.
They could just make it so you can only crawl out if you were downed outside of the exit gates. Would still allow for every clutch escape except for the ones where you needed Dead Hard. Lol.

Definitely the triple hook distance offering with swamp offering sabo squad. They had the hook breaking perk, boil over, and the Yui perk breakout, I think? Clothing to blend too.
-
Oh, no, please don't do it to me. Teabagging is my weakness. If you do that, I might stop face camping and learn how to play the game. I beg of you to reconsider Mr. Survivor.

It does actually look pretty nice with the suit, but I spent 4 dollars on the mask. So that is what I will wear.

I am sorry, but this made me laugh. Actually complaining about the zombies. Ha ha ha... ha.

I don't think lightborn is gonna help. First of all, is a waste of perk slot. Second, when survivors realised that, they will stop going for flashlight saves and stuff. And what they will do instead of that? Gens.
The trick is to pretend you do not have Lightborn. Play as though you do not have it and you can get a free injure or down whenever you want, realistically. Plus if they would have saved without it, you secure a hook state. Very few perks give you that level of impact. Plus flashlight users tend to run flashbang and blastmine as is. It is not just protection against saves.
Flashlighting at pallets got a huge buff (and hex perks got nerfed) in the era of the boon, as well. I see good killers constantly dropping free hooks just because; all while they never have an opportunity to go and Pop their precious gen with that dead perk they crutch. If they have flashlights, Lightborn gets more use than just about any meta perk besides gen block perks which are more powerful than the builds people are used to from pre mmr. Corrupt/Deadlock buy you WAY more time than Ruin/Pop nowadays, and you do not need undying to protect ruin anymore, so that is where you can put your lightborn. Also Thrilling is better than BBQ.

We do not need to disable DC penalties. They need to add a forfeit option after 10 minutes. It would solve a lot more than just hackers holding games hostage.
-
That isn't even close to my biggest problem with that monster of a perk.
-
The only saving grace is that as powerful as boons are, most survivors cannot live without 4 second chances, and as a result, I haven't run into too many boons. When I have, it has been frustrating. But it will pass. Thankfully.
-
That doesn't matter, if they do not want to play killer, they shouldn't have to. It is up to the developers to address that, not survivor mains.

Nemesis is incredibly strong. Like Huntress, everything that should give survivors security instead gives him a hit, windows and pallets are both deathtraps.
On top of that, for the amount people complain about the zombies, they give mapwide information on where survivors are nearly constantly, and they pressure survivors off gens and away from unhooks with absolutely zero effort on the killer's behalf. I think people expect that the zombies should be smacking and downing survivors every 10 seconds, but that's honestly just a punishment for survivor mistakes the same way Pig traps slow the game down and aren't really intended to kill even though they can.
I think people just don't want zombies to get stuck and do literally nothing constantly... But maybe I am not reading the room correctly.

Holy crap I'd kill for triple BP for a few days.
I would kill for double bp one day. I am desperate...
-
I more or less agree, I feel like people are just really stubborn about the killers they believe to be powerful and nothing will change their minds. But as the game changes and they do not consider the implications of those changes... She has gotten MUCH better. Easily one of the best killers in the game at the moment.
-
That is the life of a high mmr player now...
-
I know a lot of people have said Otz, but when I went back to Overwatch, they asked the same question and it made me realize Overwatch content creation was really bad compared to DBD. And even though I could list a dozen amazing creators in this community, I just have to give it up for Otz. He is really something special. His personality is great, the streams are engaging, the YouTube content is high quality, he is quite hilarious, and he seems like a genuinely good person. He definitely cares about this game and the community as a whole, and that is hard to fake.
-
It happens sometimes. Like when someone gets down. I am not sure about all of the triggers, but yeah, a little bit.
-
Oh, wow, I forgot that this would effect Scratched Mirror Myers for some reason. I hate Shadow Step.

This does show that people who wanted the spirit nerfed never cared about if she was fair or had counterplay.
They just wanted her gutted so thoroughly they'd never lose to her again.
Oh, what a shock. I never saw that coming, this is such a surprise to me.

Hell no, he’s very strong if you know how to play him. Keep faking his power on windows and pallets and you get easy downs.
That is the kind of attitude that got Deathslinger nerfed. Those 50/50s are just unwinnable!

@sizzlingmario4 said:
His power still takes the same amount of time to activate, the sound and the animation just have a different timing than they used to and it's thrown a lot of people off.
Before it was ever bugged (prior to Pinhead release), his sword would go into the ground and you'd hear the sound with it, but this actually occurred a fraction of a second before the power would be fully charged and you could actually unleash a wave (and start leaving trails). Check some older videos during the RE chapter and you'll notice that the prompt at the bottom of the screen to press left click to attack actually appears later than the sword going into the ground.
In the previous patch (when the bug started), the sound and animation were actually out of sync with each other, which was AWFUL. The sound would play at the same time as it did before, but his sword would go into the ground right as the power was fully charged. I straight up just didn't play him at all because it was just too much of a distraction and it was causing me to miss shots left and right.
In the current update, his sword goes into the ground right as the power fully charges, and the sound plays as his sword goes into the ground, so they're no longer out of sync, but not the same as what it was before. But the actual time required to fully charge his power is unchanged.
It is an experiment to test the boundaries of our muscle memory.
-
He really isn't. He is one of the better killers in the game. That is not saying much, but still, most killers have it way worse than the wittle tentacle boi.
-
They play the game... At a lower mmr. Which is fine, but, like, they should perhaps gather a bit of perspective from players who are higher mmr before deciding some of this weird nonsense like Deathslinger nerfs. I am not even talking top mmr. Just... Not wherever it is they play where Pig is a dominant force that warrants nerfing every patch.
-
Lightborn is your lord and savior against boosted flashlight users. I highly recommend it.
-
I already hate her as a survivor, at least she gives me a nice excuse to face camp without feeling bad.

The devs just made the grind even worse by adding six perks with three tiers to the survivors' general pool. They've said they're working on reducing the grind, but their actions show the exact opposite.
I'm extremely annoyed/pissed off at the moment because I'm trying to level up characters and at level 50 in the Bloodweb I'm being forced to spend ridiculous amounts of Bloodpoints to get past these stupid Stranger Things perks to get perks I do want. The BP they've given away for Halloween doesn't even make up for it.
Yeah, it added nasty Steve perks to my Nancy. That was never supposed to happen.

NOED? More like NO SkillED killer mains. Ayy gottem!

I used to think it was fine as it took skill to properly use. But now? I retract it. Dead Hard is the best perk in the game. You guys were correct. My bad.

This is true. I've scarcely found them helpful so far. People with the perks will spend endless amounts of time to locate and bless/rebless totems instead of doing gens/saves. Idk, hasn't made me switch the meta perks.
I really love when a teammate brings them because I like having a safety zone, I am quite bad at survivor though. So, you know, that is probably why.
-
My opinion is to never pre-purchase auric cells just because you think they will release a classic Nemesis skin. Never trust leaks.
-
Camping hooks is not bad sportsmanship, your attitude about it would better qualify as poor sportsmanship, actually.
-
I do not believe hatch contributes to your mmr. So ELO hell is basically nigh inescapable in this game.
-
All of them, we can't stop until all mid tier killers are as "underrated" as Pig.

Basement bubs most viable killer in the game
Yes, even more viable than Nurse.

I want a perk that is just the speed boost from NOED and that is it. It would probably be broken, though, which is why I guess the only other speed perk is basically a buggy conditional mess that is stripped from you whenever you act.
-
I can only compare it to the fifth anniversary, and honestly, I am a bit disappointed. I prefer having free shards and all of the cakes. I understand they didn't want to give us shards because we could just buy Mikaela, but why no BP besides all of the codes? I do not understand.
This one is more fun because crushing pumpkins is better than the one time crown grab. So there is that at least.
-
I like them because they are basically a free brown item. It makes leveling the blood webs slightly more efficient.

Sure, reduce it to 15 seconds, now OP is definitely NEVER going to come back in time to play a match since from what they say they like to stay afk for the whole 1 minute timer, offering reveal screen AND loading screen (and I assume part of the queue time?)
Reducing it to 15 seconds would defeat the purpose of the ready up timer
You'd have no way of coordinating based on what you see in the lobby (be it survivor items or the pre-game chat, don't forget that that is the only time solos can coordinate a little bit)
The real question is: why should BHVR cater to afk players? What's the benefit of that? Do we like the fact that people are going afk after queueing up?
Oh, yeah, I forgot you guys have a pre-game chat. I am a console pleb, so I am always awkwardly sitting there wondering why the hell they queued if they weren't ready. Ha ha ha... My bad.
-
Your friend is bad at Small Game, he needs Big Game to properly throw the game and cleanse all pieces of NOExoDia. But seriously though, I can get all 5 on my own if I am ignoring gens.

"...all it does is land you an extra kill"
to be honest, any perk that gives you a kill is a good perk.
"If I'm a killer with an instadown, Jolt."
Jolt only works on basic attacks, so isn't it actually much less useful on a killer with an instadown?
There are killers with basic attack instant downs. Ghostface and Myers are the specific ones that come to mind.

Is that your "good point"? That's a (bad) suggestion..
What you don't understand is that you shouldn't be in the queue in the first place if you're not ready to play, so it doesn't make sense to implement something like that
The countdown before the game starts is there to give players a bit of time to either coordinate with the rest of the team, or prepare a counter to what they see in the lobby
Imagine what would happen if they catered to people like you who click READY and then go elsewhere:
The other 4 players would join a lobby, stare at their screen for 1 minute waiting for the countdown to end, suddenly the 5th person is kicked out and they have to wait until someone else joins the lobby
Now imagine that the "someone else" that joins is again someone afk, and they get kicked out after another minute, all while the other 4 people are there, waiting
And so on, it could go on forever
Why should the 4 people who are ready to play wait longer because someone who is NOT READY decided to queue up to play?
His idea would be good if the ready up timer was less than a minute (lets say 15 seconds) and it would actually speed up the process (as long as you don't have 4 afk) while avoiding afk players that queue up when they aren't ready. How is that bad? It would be a raw improvement...
-
I prefer we just redo how maps are selected. The offering system is archaic, and it would have been back in 2016 too.
-
You have betrayed the order of killer, Pulsar. We are all supposed to blindly defend NOED because the survivors dislike it. What have you become? Hiss!
In all seriousness, I genuinely wasn't expecting this thread. Mixing it up a bit, our daily NOED talk needed a bit more spice.
-
Play how you want. You don't even need 4 hooks if you do not want. You could go for a 4 man slug.

Do the best thing like me if your on me on console, set your settings to friends message only, this way the salty one who attempts to buzz you have just wasted time and may now be throwing their console/pc/tv out of the window of a 10 story building.
You need to also turn friend requests off. All of the snowflakes on Overwatch know this technique.

If that were true, survivors wouldn't run DS. They THINK that it makes play more interesting until they realize it doesn't.

Nah I'd still do it.
Word up. It is not a trap to lure people down, it is a nice to get to know the survivor on the meat hook one on one, without all of these pallets creating distance between us, and through that understanding, we might become friends.
