So basically we are allowed to complain about the problems you have with killer, and stop complaining about the things you do not consider to be problems? Uh huh...

I doubt anyone mained the slinger. He was just a fun break from the monotony the other killers offer. The fun is gone so he is billy status.
I imagine most people who mained him still main him, he was always bad...
I played him from time to time for fun and that hasn't changed either really. Not to downplay the nerfs, they were massive relative to how much he needed them. But if you feel like Slinger, he is still the only Slinger.
-
Let's take baby steps. First let the survivors down and slug killers.

I think they should just let the add-on be usable throghout the whole year.
As for the question itself, I think Michael should get it, I just really like having 99d stalk, running up to a Survivor with small terror radius and instantly downing them, fun.
Imagine that with the Tombstone, it would be very poggy woggy.

The problem is it shrinks a already small killer pool to even smaller because CoH allows them to speed up the game even more on there side while removing snowball potential at the same time.
Those killers weren't viable anyways. If anything, adding Plague to meta was a raw improvement to killer diversity.

Happened to me yesterday with Demo but other way around.
First game after a while I got very skilled survivors and I barely managed to get 3 hooks somehow, completely destroyed.
Game after that I got 11hooks at 5 gens?????
This is SBMM experience they been talking about
Yeah, I had some weird games as Doctor where I struggled to get one hook, and the after that, I could have gotten his adept had I been wearing the proper perks.
-
Does it not show them as a globe in the pre-game lobby? Do they mask it or something?
-
Sadly I never got to experience the actual fog. I wish they reactivated it for Halloween or something.

How did you understood his problem? I think i need translator here.
Tinkerer reactivates as it goes above 70% if it regressed. He is complaining that there is no cooldown to Tinkerer activating and that the killer can essentially be permanently undetectable if he keeps proxy camping a generator that is close to completion.

Boon totems kill ruin and the like. It used to be that survivors just kept on gens as best they could and if they got rushed off that was the price to pay. Now there is always somebody looking to find totems to put down boons, always finding ruin on the way.
I have see a huge increase in small game or detective's hunch. And a lot more of my teammates doing totems. It is really strange to see, but I suspect it is just because they are new.
As killer, I rarely run into them.
-
At that point, why not just commit to a different gen? Lol. He clearly isn't committing to a chase if he just keeps coming back to kick it whenever you tap it. That benefits you greatly to keep trolling him.

I see many complaints by other killers saying ds and bt should be deactivated when the last gen is done because they're tired of camping endgame just to lose to bt and ds. I say oh well, survivors definitely deserve counters for all camping.
DS should probably deactivate if they are on an exit gate. Other than that, I agree.

That's just doing gens. Genrush is something else, unless you think that any time a survivor even touches a gen is immediately 'genrushing'.
Fair enough, I suppose.

Debatable.
And genrushing is still healthier for the game's playability than camping.
How is that debatable? Homies spawn on a gen and get to work. I don't spawn with a face camp victim, cuh.
These cats gen rush when they see I am not camping or tunneling regardless. So I start playing to their tempo. If a killer is camping, they do not need to adjust, they were doing gens anyways. This ain't no what came first, the chicken or the egg paradox. Survivors gonna do gens regardless of what you do. You aren't always going to tunnel regardless of what they do.
Debatable. Lol.

This is true. I would fear for the safety of their souls if they ever stopped committing to this meme.

Buff BBQ to give 100% bloodpoints per stack. They don't want give us blood points for events? Fine, I can do it myself.

That's ok. I'll keep playing killer and not worry about boon totems. When the boon totems get nerfed guys like you will find something else to rage at.
If he is not complaining about Dead Hard validation, he probably literally just has beef with boons. Boons at least have some killers who are chill with them. No reasonable killer wants to get cucked, though. Unless you are into that. No judgment here.

Yes. I'm not high mmr for not getting destroyed.
I'll come back and make a topic again when I encounter a 4 man swf like 1 out of 10 games. That's when I know I'm truly at the high mmr boys.
Glad you learned your place.
-
I have seen the error of my ways, clearly they only care about killer mains because they fixed a bug that was supposed to already be fixed. Thanks for talking some sense into me, Duck.
-
They aren't actually doing that or my queues would be even faster. They lie! Go play survivor, please. I want 1 second queues, or bust.
-
Bleed them out. If they weren't having fun playing, just make it so they can't play. Easy.

Ghostface, but I would buff him. I hate playing against him because of his playerbase. Not because he is strong. Lol.
Anyways, since you asked. I am going to need his power permanently activated. And also to make his teabags disable DS.

I absolutely believe they can nerf Ghostface, but I do not know how they could make Legion worse.
I am not imaginative enough, but I do not have that Behavior magic within me, I have the utmost confidence the masters themselves can pull it off.
-
More mid to low tier killer nerfs (Ghostface and Legion are more or less confirmed to be victims). New killers that are mid to low. Powerful survvor perks that are neglected in favor of DS/Borrowed/Unbreakable/Dead Hard. Window vault validation. No BP events. Performance issues. Killer bugs ignored. Survivor bugs hot fixed.
Many call the Bodhisattva clairvoyant. You shall learn the truth yourself with time.

I am sorry you feel that way.
I play mostly Survivor these days as well. I put in way less effort, am way less stressed and I almost never get told to kill myself, which is a nice bonus.
I still get hate mail from survivors. I cannot escape it regardless of the role I play. We are like oil and water.

I genuinely believe if someone never EVER tunnels, they aren't very good at the game because they refuse to use a specific strategy when the time comes that it IS the correct strategy. Yes, you don't need to tunnel every time. But there will 100% be situations where the correct strategy is to just tunnel. It doesn't matter if it's a simple strategy. They will come across situations where it becomes the answer if they want a come back and to possibly win the game. If they thumb their nose at it and refuse to EVER do it regardless of the situation, then to me that means they are knowingly throwing games they could have won, for no real reason aside from feeling they are somehow better at the game by intentionally losing.
They are scared of what their audience will say. They are really good at the game despite refusing to use some of the most efficient tactics, but yeah, not as good as someone just as good who isn't afraid of survivor main tears.

Depends did you buy said characters with real money or just buying every perk on Shrine?
I have a friend who has 400 hours with the game and only bought like one killer as far as I'm aware and has been saving up for Deathslinger since his first purchase a good perk comes up in the shrine and it deters his goal.
Huh? I have almost every killer (shards only). I am just missing 3 and I ALMOST have enough for another one right now. I have no clue my hours, but people estimate a devotion takes 200 hours. So I would be at around 400 too. The anniversary gave a free 9k, I believe. I kind of wasted some shards on perks, though, so it should be roughly the same with raw play if we pretend I had no shards in the bank right now.
Do not get me wrong, the shard grind is HORRENDOUS. But not THAT bad.
-
I loved him before they nerfed him, but now I finally have an excuse to never play him again, thankfully.

@legacycolt said:
No.
Why not? Wouldn't you almost prefer they ran that perk over something decent? Most boon users are probably just going to destroy the totem anyways. It would be nearly useless. Like 90% of the perks. Which makes it perfect for DbD.

Survivors have hook states in their HUD but rarely use it.
If you never been hooked, and teammate is about to hit second stage camped, why wont you go trade with him on hook?
Unless its end game camping you have no excuse not to do that.
I agree its lame to be the one camped, but some teammates just dont even consider taking the heat off of their camped/tunneled teammates when their own hook states are clean as sky
With escape based mmr, there is literally no reason to hook trade if you care about climbing. And as survivor, there is a huge incentive to want to reach high mmr (better teammates). I do it, but only because I do not care about my teammates... ironically.

No way people are suggesting solo queue is possibly op
Good survivors are OP. Simple as that. There are garbage SWF. And there are competent solos who can play (more like exploit) the game. It doesn't really matter. As long as you are up against 4 survivors who are decent, the game is heavily in their favor. At the start, anyway. Obviously tunneling addresses that and on a team with "that guy," it is relatively easy to 4k.
But mmr makes "that guy" less common the higher you go. And the consistency of solos goes up.
At low ranks, even god tier survivors would lose because they are bogged down by 3 potato.
-
Think about it, just to function properly, this game needs 80% of the playerbase to be survivor players. That is why they cater to them, they are quite literally the vast majority of players.

I've never heard someone in COD or Battlefield complain about the cumulative time spent respawning. Never. Not once.
This whole "It prevents us from playing the game." complaint needs to go the way of the Dodo. You are playing the game. You are playing the game on the hook. Just because you are not currently providing input does not mean you aren't playing the game.
I actually quit Battlefield because I was sick of the journey from spawn every time I died. Not even cumulatively. Just one of those suckers was enough to annoy me at a certain point.
CoD purposely spawns you on top of people specifically to avoid that complaint. And that is probably why its worst selling games is leagues above Battlefields best to be honest. People like to play games, the shocking discovery of the century. I am surprised they don't like to not play the game.

Some games offer an exclusive item or reward or currency for the actual day of the holiday in addition to running several weeks worth of events celebrating that holiday.
Oh, yeah, like that game Dead by Daylight Mobile. I wish our game was like Dead by Daylight Mobile.

Why would Halloween be an important day for a horror game having a Halloween event?

Despite explicitly being promised that the new MMR would solve the problem of "I'm playing a new killer and I don't want to get blown out of the water trying to learn their power," the new MMR...
Does
Not
Put

Zero.
The MMR for new killers uses a synthesis for all of the other killers you HAVE played on. So, if you've only ever played Trapper and you're god's gift to Trapper players and have a super high MMR, the second you touch literally any other killer, they will have your Trapper's ranking.
I feel this was more an issue that they overestimated the killer player skill level. Apparently people genuinely need to one trick to get results in a game like this... I would have made the same mistake.
