Afaik, The chain thing was a point of contention on the dev team and the higher ups demanded that he breaks his own chains for some stupid reason.
With how survivors crumble before Pinhead... I cannot even imagine a world where he didn't help them escape.

I would face camp even if it was not viable. Someone has to do it, might as well be me.
-
I guess that would make hex perks viable.
-
I guess it used to be hard meta, so they gutted it. I bet if it were a survivor perk, it would have survived the bludgeoning it got.
-
That is too far, in my opinion. And I am the guy who believes Decisive Strike is the best survivor perk in the game.
-
Boon: Undying
When the killer snuffs a boon, it automatically relights elsewhere destroying the bone. Two birds, one stone. We nerf NOED and survivors can stop wasting their time relighting their boons, every (survivor) is happy.

I want to add a /s because I am joking, but I do not want you to think I am being sarcastic. What a predicament. Similar to FNAF in DBD!

When are they gonna give us a code of 1 billion
When I admit that face camping is toxic. I am sorry, but it will never happen. Behavior is going to sit on their 1 billion bloodpoints. You could hang me on a meat hook irl and I will never admit it.

It is the Twilight Zone, fam. People are just stuck in their ways, she is not good. There is no advice anyone can give you. You are already an experienced Spirit. You probably know better than they do what she is capable of.

Soon ™️
In all seriousness, it might not be until the Ringu patch. Dead Dawg was disabled for less and for a lot longer than that estimate.

IDK why this is an issue. Sometimes, you have to be the sacrifice. It sucks, but IDK why it's not satisfying for other people *even if I'm the one to get face camped at 5 gens* to see the killer only get 1k and 4k bp after the game. It's like a giant middle finger. Why do people prefer a potential 4k to that?
I am biased, I suppose. As a face camper myself, I do not care if I just get a 1k. If I only get one, I messed up badly somewhere. That would be my fault. But yeah, the lower bloodpoints do not vaguely bother me. So if I think that other killers are like me, it is really just not the middle finger you think it is. Getting them out last minute and invalidating their strategy is. Albeit, I will admit the threat of NOED can make that quite risky. I would rather try to help and die than just leave them if there is time, though, because they were a homie for not killing themselves on hook and I do not care about whether I escape or not.

@AnnaEliza365 said:
If I see that you're being camped with Kindred, I'm just going to do gens--especially if it's at 5 or 4 gens. If I manage to get them done and get the door opened before you died, I leave. If a killer camps, I'm not saving you. If the killer is camping end game, and has NoED, the same goes. I will try to find it, but if I can't, I'm not saving you.
And, a lot of survivors will be super upset at that, but you can't both complain about camping, and also feed them hooks by running in to save. If you actually want to make a killer regret it, do gens. That way they either have to stop camping to save their gens, or only get possibly 1 kill.
*which is why you should let yourself die on hook if you're being camped*
I mean... But if you finish gens before the face camp is over, you could easily save against virtually anyone except for Leatherface. It does not take much effort. You do not even need borrowed unless both exit gates are across the map.

It is not toxic, it is just a tactical mindgame.

Finally i got 5 stacks of Hex: Pimento!!
After two straight weeks of playing mostly all Hex builds i got to 5 stacks with Twins!
Hex: Pimento/ Hex: Ruin/Hex: Plaything/ Hex: Devour Hope
Unfortunately i lost that game since i got the stacks really late game and 3 escaped but i now know and have a staple Pinimento build.
I think the problem with people like Tofu who is attempting to get 5 stacks but have not had success is that he and other players like him are stubborn and only looking at things one way. He's a great player and im not taking anything away from him but he thinks that getting 5 stacks has to do with the killer hes using and not the actual build.
I've gotten 4 stacks a couple of times with Pig and Trapper so it has absolutely nothing to do with the killer you have but the build. His problem (Im just using Tofu as an example so please dont confuse this for me shi**g on him its just constructive critisism) is that he's not playing with good Pimento builds. Hes using Corrupt and etc when he should be running all Hexes. He has that complex very similar to the streamer Trutalent who wont do what it takes to win for WHATEVER reasons these guys dont do or like what it takes to win regardless of they're reasoning (which most cases they say is boring or that they're annti tunnel...lol)
To get 5 stacks you have to dedicate a build around Pimento so with that said again you need to run 4 Hex perks. Pinemento/Plaything/Ruin are staples then the 4th perk should be either, Devour Hope, Third Seal, Blood Favor, Crowd Control or Thrill of The Hunt
It is especially strange of True who harps on about how he is competitive all while throwing games because "skill" as he gets into lower mmr lobbies. Very odd. I love him, but let's be real, he was tired of getting crushed.
As for the actual topic, lol, I 100% agree and saw another streamer who was literally trying to copy Tofu's killer for the 5 stack, which was Plague. And I thought the same thing. It was just so weird to fixate on the killer and not the other perks.
-
If you do not want to hear about tunneling, do not tunnel. And even that advice is not a surefire way to prevent it.
-
Honestly, once they started loosening mmr, they lost their fun for me. I am not good enough at them to play against competent survivors. Back when mmr worked, I played them quite a bit.
-
I just skip that one. Even as someone who plays duo I skip it. The only time I attempted it was in a 3 man when I realized it was not worth doing then, either.

I think I have a mid road solution. You unlock tier one then instead of buying bloodweb after bloodweb you can purchase tier 2 as another item, offering or add on is sealed off and you get to tier 3 without needing to go through hundreds of thousands if not millions of bloodpoints. There are still 3 tiers and the luck of waiting for the perk you want is reduced to needing it only one time. You guys think this would be a good one?
I think it would just be faster to double our bloodpoint gain until they fix it and it would actually be as simple as flipping a switch.

Just activate all her traps. She is a m1 killer, can't do nothing against average players.
Not even an m1 killer. More like a ranged killer with no ranged attacks. Assuming you play around the traps, anyway.

Save for the new killer and survivor!
This... Like, if you do not have anyone you want to p3, it makes sense to actually get the new characters working.

If I am being a nice killer and they let someone die after I try giving them a free save, I brutalize them.
If you mean end game, I do not care. I prefer that as a killer and a survivor. If I martyr myself, it is not because I wanted the killer to get both of us. If I am killer, I prefer to push them out a$ap to move on to the next game.

Time zones I guess. Tomorrow is the 15th for many :)
I suppose. I guess I just meant we couldn't even start a 24 hour countdown yet.
-
I thought it was the day after tomorrow, on the 15th? I have 2.1 million bloodpoints saved up. I will need to see if she looks fun to determine whether to hold them for 3 weeks or not. If she looks good, I do not mind not earning any bloodpoints for awhile. But if she is closer to Artist, I am going to just spend them on... Idk, a random killer I do not care about, I guess.
It might depend on the survivor. I really enjoyed Ryuji as a character, so I would maybe unironically use him even though he is not a waifu.

Plaything has been a staple of my Pig build almost since the perk came out.
I've lost count how many times I've been chasing someone and run across an Oblivious survivor with a trap on their head trying to get to a Jigsaw box -- I've been as startled as they are, I imagine. Especially if those survivors have active traps, they're not going to be nearly as careful traversing the map -- or sitting on a box -- and I get a lot of easy downs in the process. (Using the Face Mask add-on to give survivors blindness -- which I do believe keeps them from seeing the aura of their totem -- is added help).
I think Plaything is a VERY underrated perk in general, but on the Pig, it feels exceptionally valuable. And as the only Hex perk that isn't in danger of being erased 20 seconds into a match (other than Pentimento), it's been very reliable for me -- I get value out of it pretty much every match I run it.
It is always hilarious watching them desperately trying to cleanse their totem without realizing that I am standing right beside them.
-
Just Ghostface and I cannot really explain why without getting myself suspended. I guess if I HAD to pick another, Trapper. Nothing against his players. I am just too much of a baby survivor to be on the look out for them and he gets me literally every time. If he had a time challenge, I singlehandedly gave it to him.

To add onto this, it's entirely possible you could've just gotten unlucky and been the one he had his stalk 99'd against 5 times. Unless it was consecutively I'd say this sounds entirely plausible- unlucky, certainly, and the game probably should've been over before use 4, but plausible.
I have certainly done it to an annoying Kate before. I just saved it for her and the last one came from finally committing a stalk to her.
-
That was all before my time, but I am still quite scared from time to time in game. Maybe I am just a sweet innocent flower who takes it too seriously. Because when I am in challenge mode, let's be real, ain't nobody got time to be scared.

Make Monstrous Shrine a scourge hook that rewards leaving the hook. Maybe it could accelerate the sacrifice timer by 25% as long as you remain 32 meters or further away?
I actually think Territorial Imperative is neat as a niche perk, I would probably just remove the distance requirement and cool down.
No. Monstrous Shrine is for us basement campers. You do not get to reclaim it.

We just need to pester them about some base kit improvement like how survivors got the wiggle buff, or will get the basekit BT. You know, frame it that way to trick them.
-
I would tell you if I could remember it.
But since I would hate to leave you without an answer, Lightborn. Sometimes I forget it is just a perk and not a lifestyle.

Me too, man. And my sister. No idea what's in the water today, but the experience has been horrific. Wish these pathetic excuse for human beings were watching the Super Bowl.

I feel like the bloodweb needs to be scrapped entirely, just let us buy perks and addons directly. Make the higher rarity ones cost more BP, like say 20k for an iri killer addon or something. Make the farming addons free.
Lol... Buys the same 4 perks for every killer and finishes in 1 day.
-
I doubt they hate Springtrap, they are just less mature than the FNAF playerbase they bash and cannot separate the idea of the character from their baby rage.
-
I am sorry, just the title alone had me laughing. Then again, I am not really a survivor main that thought Trickster, Pinhead, or Artist were anything but laughable side grades to vastly superior killers. I expect Sadako will suck unless they finally realized that maybe people would play the new killer for longer than a week if it was viable.
-
I think they are a bit disconnected on this issue. They hear the criticism, but they do not seem to understand just how bad it is.
-
But a Huntress body pillow actually has value.
-
Wow, I thought I was hitting it HARD. To the point of burnout. And I am only around 35. To be fair, I am technically around 38, I am just waiting for Sadako to collect the challenges.
-
If you used a code, I do not believe those count toward the one million.
-
I actually come strapped with Lightborn. So I would roll those kids, regardless. No need to send them back to queue when I can send them back to an mmr where it might actually work.
-
I thought I was offended by how low Lightborn was until I realized where Monstrous Shrine was placed. I disagree with your preferences, heavily.
-
He is one of the only survivors I can tolerate. Like, literally, he is the only one I actively click on survivor videos for. I do not catch his streams for time zone reasons, but I certainly would if I could.

15 seconds.
Spawned in, looked for Lethal Pursuer hit someone with Feral Frenzy and all 4 Survivors DC'd instantly.
I once had something similar where 3 people spawned by the exit gate near the lobby of RPD and I spawned at the top of the stairs. It must have been a 3 man swf as they all DC'd after I ran them over. I just let the last guy have hatch, and it took him awhile to find it. So it was not technically that fast despite 3 people leaving in the first 15 seconds.
-
I stopped running them because they kept getting less than a minute of value. Other times they literally never found it. I have no clue what the average would be, but it doesn't matter, playing entire games down a perk or two...Or sometimes 3, was just getting old.

Not really, at least not the ones I saw. The guy posting it was pretending it was gore though.
